We stayed at the guesthouse for two nights and really enjoyed it. The large room in the attic was very cozy (and clean) and lovingly furnished; like the entire establishment - with a rustic pub next to it that has a great selection of beer and whiskey. The whole thing is looked after by very attentive and friendly innkeepers. And all for an absolutely fair price. I would have liked to stay...

Very nice vibe and very friendly staff

We drank beer and jamesen. It's a pleasant pub. The prices are normal, draft Kölsch and Guinness are cold and fresh.

Came here with my little dog and they are so nice. The house wine is Argentinian and quite good! Would definitely recommend for a drink and a chat!

Excellent Irish pub. 150 times better than the one 400 m away.

I always enjoy going to the Irish pub in Ratingen. The food is very tasty and the staff is always attentive, quick, competent and extremely friendly. The atmosphere between the guests and the staff is always very relaxed and pleasant. Perfect for spending a relaxing evening with friends. In addition, current sporting events (e.g. football) are shown on several TVs in all rooms. An additional highlight is the regular Pb Quiz.

I am not one to leave negative reviews but this place, oh man! This place is "SPECIAL". I had the pleasure of DJ'ing through Germany and happened to have St. Patty's off in Cologne. All was fine until our (short-bearded) bartender started partying a little to hard (have a great video of his jaw dancing). His attitude changed drastically, seems like he had some seniority cause when I asked for a manager several of his co-workers warned him. Hope that management takes a good look at it's staff, the spot has a lot of potential.
