We drank beer and jamesen. It's a pleasant pub. The prices are normal, draft Kölsch and Guinness are cold and fresh.

I had a great experience here, largely thanks to Lucas. His professionalism, attention to detail, and welcoming attitude truly stood out. A valuable member of the team.

Top pint of guinness and friendly bar staff, spent far too much time and money in here over a weekend away......but what a weekend it was.

Live music was brilliant but the barman stopped it and kicked the band out. Very wried behaviour.

I was here with my two sons ciarán and seán and we ended up getting kicked out for playing the song pink pony club. The service was appalling and one bartender spat in my pint

It was great until the group of Irish men started singing songs in English and the bar man did nothing about it. The barman kicked me out for being not Irish.

Good music good atmosphere and Guinness was great but the barman was rude. There was an Irish group singing in the bar being very loud and the barman kicked them out and used very inappropriate language!

Fantástico pub irlandés en Colonia, bastante céntrico a la mayoría de las atracciones de los alrededores. Gran selección de lager/stouts. El propietario es un caballero con una gran hospitalidad crática e increíble. Solo fue una visita aérea, solo quería una pinta de guinness y me sorprendió ver que también vendieron Murphys stout. Primera vez aquí, pero me sentí como si hubiera conocido al propietario y algunos de los habituales durante años, simplemente se sintió bienvenido y nos hizo sentir como en casa, bueno reírse hablando con los habituales también. Estaba buscando un lugar para ir a comer y me recomendaron un restaurante cercano por el propietario, que era increíble. ¿Volverá el 100% a casa de Barny cuando regrese a Colonia? ¡Sláinte Charlie!

Great atmosphere, brilliant bar staff. Word of advice, Depending on how busy it is, larger groups may get turned away. Fully understandable as you want the vibe, but still have room to move. There are cheaper pubs but this is my “go to” pub every time I’m in Cologne.

Except for the spälling mistake on the menu, it s a perfecly fine little Irish Pub ;)

Excelente personal. Fui a ver rugby. Rodeado de algunos idiotas, pero el personal era excelente, a pesar de que estaban llenos. Recordé nuestra ronda después de pedir solo una vez. Incluso recordé la ronda al día siguiente, mi marido entró solo. Así que mucho mejor que el Corkonian en el Alter Markt. ¡Ve a Barney Vallely's en su lugar!

Cool Irish pub. Sporting events are broadcast, the selection of draft beer is good, the atmosphere is relaxed and there is music in the background.

Amazingly friendly. One of the best pints of Guinness outside of Ireland. Charlie and his staff can't do enough to make you feel welcome will definitely be back.

Ich kann das Barneys nur weiterempfehlen. Coole Atmosphäre und das Guinness war super. Sogar Murphys vom Fass. Wollten eigentlich nur kurz was trinken und es sind 3 Stunden daraus geworden. Man fühlte sich richtig wohl, wie ein kurz Trip in Irland. Die Bedienung echt super nett. Gerne immer wieder

Service and ambience in typical Irish bar quality. Very great bar when it comes to having something smaller as a bar. Unfortunately, I miss typical Irish dishes. But they are often missing here in Germany

Great atmosphere, staff were great, we were in to watch the rugby and Lucas the barman made sure when a spot became free that he moved us up front to the tv where it was going to be shown. Highly recommend and will happily visit again on our next trip.

Shout out to lucas who made sure we had seats for the rugby but in fairness they made sure that ppl that wanted to watch the soccer and rugby were all in the right spot.

Barkeeper does not know how to serve beer! On plus, he is a very unpolite guy who doesnt want to act up on his customer demands! Would Never ever go again! 2/10

Last week I watched the bartender tell this group of English guys that he wasn’t going to turn on the England game over the Ireland game, they asked him over and over each time with a different guy trying to convince him, he stood his ground, and they got pissed and left…it was awesome to witness, one of my best memories in an Irish Pub🇨🇮🤝🇺🇸 Besides that, also a great pub. Good beers. Nice and comfortable feel to it.

It's going ok. Ambience cool. NFL broadcast also great. Bartender gave us 2 more pints than we ordered (100% sure. I'm studying English for a master's degree and know exactly what we ordered). He then simply said so and then left the two beers and we had to pay for them. Then we just did it and drank. But a very unpleasant situation that no attempt was made to defuse (customer-oriented). After all, it wasn't us who made the mistake, it was the bartender. By the way, the bartender was a taller, slim gentleman with dark hair. We were there on October 6th. there in the evening... Because of this promotion we will definitely not be coming back. Too bad.

We had a group of 12 business colleagues. We wanted a post dinner drink. We were refused service when the bar was literally empty, as they refused to serve of party of larger than 8!! Get real you idiots!

Started out fun, had a few good drinks, watched a FC Köln match, all was good. Until we started cheering after a Tottenham goal vs Manchester United and the owner said we couldn't make any noise. Also, sing Irish pub songs during the commercials of a match is forbidden. 0/10 experience.

Owner does not like it if you root for the (in his eyes) wrong team. They do not have anything to eat. One of the worst, or maybe the, Irish pubs I have ever been

We arrived late and were given a nice welcome by the innkeeper, there was a pleasant atmosphere and we received a well-poured Guinness.

Cozy pub, cool cider! But the waiter was rude and unprofessional. There were two of us there and the first comment was that we were too drunk to be served. We weren't drunk… after a short discussion in English we were served.

We enjoyed the friendliness of the staff/restaurant owners and the relaxed time there. A little Ireland in Cologne.

One of the best pubs in the region and the best Irish pub in nrw.

This is a great place to go for a relaxing few drinks away from the main square but close enough to walk there and to the riverside within minutes. Charlie and The Staff are brilliant and can't do enough to make you welcome. I would recommend everyone visits here at least once as you won't be disappointed.

It was my first time in this pub. The atmosphere was as a pub should be. I immediately felt at home, it was rustic, loud and full. But everyone was very friendly and the staff was great too! Great pub, I would definitely visit again!
