Good for a nightcap. Lots of English crowd. Actually a good atmosphere but the women's toilets should be renovated.

We love Irish pubs so a visit is always part of it no matter what country or city we are in. This pub also has its charm, super friendly, fast service and of course delicious Guinness and much more.

Typical pub with an appropriate selection of beer and cider. Very fast and nice service with very good English skills.

The Corkonian Irish Pub offers an incredibly authentic atmosphere that takes you straight to Ireland. The service is warm and attentive, and the delicious beer rounds off the experience perfectly. A highly recommended pub! 😊

Probably the best bar of the half dozen we tried. Good beer, good staff, reasonable prices & a great atmosphere. We didn't try the food so cannot comment.

I'm a Kölsche young. I'm a fan of Guinness. Best pub ever. Bought good Guinness, just increased beer. Placed cleanly and you could see it ripening. I ordered an Irish flag!? Looks nice. Tastes like crap. Change the permint with a forest master. Otherwise you are the best team and the best pub where I would like to drink a Guinness. LG K. Summer

The furnishings are quite old. But the atmosphere and the staff are friendly and hardworking. Visit was during the Christmas market. So very busy and full. Well tapped Guinness!

Very nice shop, nice service. 1 star is due to the highly aggressive security. Only after being informed that we were calling the police could we leave unmolested. Previously we heard that we're keen to blow you away anyway and it's almost time for work, so wait for us. Even the women present were attacked and didn't even dare to go to the toilet.

Unfortunately there was nothing to eat except chips. The atmosphere was good and the pup was well attended. You can also watch football. Otherwise typical pup feeling

They have very good cider. The store is really big, even though the entrance is so narrow. There is a lot of space to sit, even for friends.

I liked the Corkonian so much that I forgot to take photos. I've been to a few pubs and they always refused me the Guinness Black (current), i.e. "adulterated" with cassis syrup. And I was reassured by my nice waiter that men also drink Guinness Black. I recommend the Snakebite, a Kilkenney cider mixture. Love it, but my companion couldn't get used to it. The waiters are international, Scottish, Greek (he said his English has a Spanish accent) and Maron (probably dyed blonde, since the name means chestnut brown) is from the south of France. This isn't the last time I've been here. Man, now that sounds like a threat...

I like the Corkonian, it is a wonderful Irish pub with a long tradition in the cathedral city. The first time I was here was a little over 25 years ago and not much has changed. The televisions for sports broadcasts have become more and flatter and you can now pay by card (which was frowned upon back then). The drinks are always well prepared and the staff are friendly and accommodating.

Hi , I am coming to corkonian bar since 2 years atleast 3 days a week , I love the working team and all the bartenders all are nice in service like the bartenders Behrad , Brodie, Eoin , Nick all are nice . I experienced unwelcoming last week and today from bouncers flirting with the girls . Where the girls are sitting in the bouncers chairs and being rude . I hope it changes , still corkonian is the best Irish bar we have .

Authentic Irish pub in the heart of Cologne. Also a good place to meet other Irish or English visitors to the city.

Traditionally furnished pub with a typical selection of drinks. Service friendly. Football broadcasts. Interior smells and sounds like a pub too. If you're expecting the scent of spring and the peace and quiet of a meadow, please don't go! Toilets could be cleaned every now and then (a lot of alcohol, a lot of people... A lot goes wrong)... But I deduct that point because Kölsch is also served here.

Luckily all the tables outside were occupied, so we were able to get to know the atmosphere inside. Prices reasonable, service very friendly.

Home from home Cork/Irish owned, great staff and reasonably priced. One of the nicer pints of Guinness I've had abroad in a long time. Lovely terrace and plenty of space inside. Would recommend. No food but plenty of options drinks wise

Feels like Ireland. The staff is super friendly, fast and you can have a great conversation thanks to the pleasant volume so you'll be happy to order 2-3 more drinks. Always my pleasure!

The pub is a handy spot to go for a drink but the service is poor. I ordered two drinks at the bar and the barman asked me 3 different times what I ordered as he was talking to friends and kept forgetting.

Was a really amazing atmosphere for watching the football game. Really cozy seating and good prices for drinks. Can only recommend, if you wanna have a pint with your mates in the afternoon

Lively Irish bar in the altermarkt. One of the few places that you can buy beer in 0.5l glasses. Try the Mexikaner.

Very cool bar. Went there in the evening to have a drink and weren't disappointed. We can recommend it and would come back if we are in Cologne again.

Super great staff. Everyone was very friendly and drinks came super quickly. There is no food here, so I don't understand the bad food reviews. I felt very comfortable and could become my regular bar if I wasn't so far away. But I'll be back. Thanks guys for the fun evenings, we laughed so much.

My wife and I had a stopover here. The two of us sat right at the counter. The bartender was personable and attentive. The Guinness was fresh and very tasty. Security could be a little more attentive. A group of male, presumably English, tourists misbehaved. The bartender had to take longer to persuade security to take action. Nevertheless, we liked it here and stayed longer than planned.

Irish is fine. Guinness excellent. Prices are Irish but still reasonable. They have live sports on offer and several TV sets in the store, which is great.

Nice reception at the entrance. There were 7 of us and we sat at dirty tables. When there was no service after 10 minutes, we left again.

Really bad. Guinness tasted good but it stayed that way. Service really not good. Normal Sunday with not that busy, waited 15 minutes for service. Toilet…so dirty and smelly.

Really nice Irish pub with a good selection of drinks. Actually exactly my thing, if the service was good. Unfortunately the service was very disappointing. She looked grim the whole time and when asked why she didn't look a little friendlier, the answer was that it wasn't her job. We then left after a drink. Still, I'll definitely give the store a second chance.

Title: Average experience at The Corkonian Irish Pub When I visited The Corkonian Irish Pub in Cologne, I was more disappointed than thrilled. Although the ambience offered a pleasant atmosphere, both the food and the service left something to be desired. The selection of Irish specialties was limited and the quality of the dishes did not meet my expectations. The service was friendly, but a bit slow and inattentive. Overall, my visit to The Corkonian Irish Pub was okay, but nothing special.
