Wonderful meal, great atmosphere. Really one of the best meals I have had. Salmon was crispy, fresh and moist, shrimp were cooked To perfection. Just the right amount of spice.

I've been going to Bollywood for 18 years and have always had good food and great service. When it's very busy, you might have to wait a bit, but the taste, friendliness, and honesty make you feel right at home. I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to experience authentic Indian food.

Very tasty lunch at an attractive price, friendly service, nice atmosphere

Ordered Chicken Vindalo. Delivery time was faster than stated. The food was very hot and the portion was absolutely sufficient. Price performance is totally fine. The food arrived well packaged, quickly and very hot. The Indian spices were very good to taste. Chicken was probably cut from the leg and was very juicy. It was very, very spicy - exactly as advertised and in keeping with traditional Indian preparation. Great taste experience from Chicken Vindalo, but not for the weak stomach. A little salt was missing, but that's a matter of taste. Very happy again. Please keep your passion for cooking!

My absolute recommendation for an Indian lunch experience! I regularly go to this restaurant for lunch - and am impressed every time. The food is excellent, prepared with a lot of love, which you can see not least in the “rice with heart” – a loving detail that simply brings joy. The lunch menu is varied and offers something for every taste. I would also like to particularly highlight the staff: always friendly, attentive and very accommodating. Here you feel welcome and in good hands. A clear recommendation for me – if you want delicious Indian food, this is the right place for you!

We have been to Maharani several times and the food has always been exceptionally good. This time too it tasted very good. The service is always very courteous, even if not every employee reaches the same level.

Amazing food, I'm very fascinated

I have lunch here with my colleagues at least once a week. For 12.20 you can get a whole lunch menu consisting of a starter (soup, salad or aloo chaat depending on the day of the week), a main course of your choice and a sweet dessert. You won't find this anywhere else in Munich for the price. If you like Indian food and also like it a bit spicy (on Wednesdays the starter is spicy, not all main courses are spicy), this is the place for you. If you're a little hungrier, I recommend freshly baked naan bread from the stone oven.

Verzehr im Restaurant Wir waren am 15 Feb. im Taj Mahal zum Essen. Das Essen war nichts besonderes. Das eine Essen war in einer Form, mit Aluminiumfolie ausgelegt, im Ofen zubereitet. Nicht sehr gut für die Gesundheit. Werden dieses Restaurant nicht wieder besuchen. Von einem Besuch ist anzuraten. Was auffällig war, es wird sehr viel Essen ausgeliefert. Verpackt in Styropor und Plastiktüten. Nicht sehr Umweltfreundlich.
