Delhi Mehek in München

This restaurant gave me the best experience during my stay in Germany. Thank you so much, and I definitely want to visit again. A month ago, when I was returning to Seoul after a family trip, my flight was suddenly canceled. I was very tired and arrived at the accommodation I had booked without prior information at 10:30 PM. All 5 of us, including the kids, were exhausted and hungry. When we visited Delhi Mehek, there were no customers in the restaurant and the staff seemed to be cleaning up and finishing their work. We were worried about whether we would be able to order food as they were preparing for the closing date, but the lady owner with a kind smile welcomed us very warmly. They guided me to a comfortable seat and helped me choose a menu. We had fun choosing the menu, and all the food we chose was excellent, so we had a very delicious meal. The owner with a friendly smile waited until all of the food we ordered was served, and only left work after hearing that we enjoyed our food and that the service was satisfactory. Although we finished our meal outside of Delhi Mehek's regular business hours, we were treated well and able to have a very comfortable and enjoyable meal. Although I was physically and mentally exhausted due to the unplanned schedule, it was a time when I was comforted by delicious food and the warm hearts of the staff, including the owner. I was worried that I couldn't express my gratitude sufficiently due to lack of time, but I feel fortunate that I was able to express my gratitude in this way. Next time I have the chance to visit Munich, I will choose Delhi Mehek without hesitation!

Delicious Indian dishes served in a family atmosphere, would be happy to come again!

The Butter Chicken meal was very tasty but unfortunately there wasn't enough rice, maybe a children's portion? For €17.99 it was really very expensive, plus two small Gulab Jamun as dessert, unfortunately not that tasty and overall the price was too high. I definitely won't be picking up food and anything else there anymore. Otherwise the staff was super nice.

We tried Delhi Mehek for lunch with colleagues. They have a daily menu including appetiser, main dish and the dessert. The atmosphere is cozy, and colourful. Nice and fast service, I highly recommend this place to try an authentic Indian food.

A little secret tip. We went there twice because the ambience and food were perfect. The warm welcome and the explanation of the dishes were perfect. Taste and portion size were very good, and the desired level of spiciness was also met. The online reservation worked great, as did the second reservation by telephone. Gladly again

I'm actually not a big fan of Indian cuisine, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The service was very friendly and the food came quickly. According to my Indian colleagues, the food is very authentic. The lunch menu prices are very reasonable and the portions are generous. I will definitely go there more often.

Like last time, the food was very tasty. We were looking forward to another visit and were not disappointed. Unfortunately, the waitress made a big faux pas...we ordered alcohol-free wheat but received some with alcohol. That wasn't so nice. The reaction was worried and she apologized, but we should have at least gotten the beer for free...

I went to see the review. It may be said to be a bit shabby, but I think it was the owner's idea to create an Indian atmosphere. There are tables outside the restaurant so you can eat, but the weather was cool so we went inside. An elderly Indian woman kindly took our menu order, and the menu came out accurately and quickly. When there are a lot of customers, it may take some time after ordering, so it is best to anticipate it well. The food tasted very good. A lot of spices such as pepper and coriander were used, but considering it is Indian food, it is very good. I am overall satisfied with the taste of all menu items. Card payment is also possible. The restroom is located from the entrance towards the cash register and is reasonably clean. I remember the smile of the owner.

Just tried this place for lunch. Very tasty, a dal soup, rogan josh and a small dessert thrown in for €11.80. Excellent service and a nice ambience, seating both inside and outside. Recommended.

Sehr leckeres Essen!!Trotz Hauptstraße in der Nähe sehr ruhig und angenehm.. Ich komme seit Jahren immer wieder und wurde persönlich nie enttäuscht... Kann ich nur empfehlen wer die einfache aber dafür leckere indische Küche liebt... Vorallem das Mittagsmenü hat einen fairen Preis!!!

Wir wird wirklich ein super leckeres und authentisches Essen serviert. Vor allem findet man hier Gerichte, die es nicht an jeder Ecke gibt. Ich sage nur Kerala. Insgesamt ein Paradies für Vegetarier und Veganer, aber nicht nur für die. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und die Preise absolut im Rahmen. Eine ganz große Empfehlung.

Food and service was great! They also accommodated late night evenings which was appreciated after a busy work week on business trip.

Prompt service. Food was good. You can customise the level of spiciness. Chicken biryani could have done with a bit more chicken.

So the lunch menu is unfortunately not recommended. Very little, you can describe it more as a tasting meal. Ambiance and service ok, I can't judge dinner.

Vor meiner Reise nach Indien schon einmal eine Einstimmung und Mut Freunden bei Delhi mehek essen gegangen. Das veg Essen aus jackfrucht war super lecker und hat mir ausgezeichnet geschmeckt.

The food was amazing and the service was top notch. We’ve had the butter chicken and Tandoori Chicken with White Rice and as a dessert we’ve had Gulab Jamun and their Chai which was tasty. Definitely recommended.

Okay overall but very expensive relative to quantity/quality. More than 20€ for a main dish (naan charged separately) with only okay food, nothing to justify the price. Service is good

Nydelig mat til en billige penge. Men, om du er glad i kjøtt av får, er ikke dette rette stedet, Tyskland har ingen tradisjon med fårekjøtt, så her var det tørt kjøtt av gammel sau, og ikke lam. Øvrige matretter var nydelige, saftig og smakfull

Un gran lugar para probar comida India. Mi favorito de Munich hasta ahora y que me fue recomendada por personas provenientes de la propia India. El sabor de los alimentos es difícil de igualar y la atención ofrecida por el staff es realmente maravillosa. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Staying in Munich for a week and found this place close to my hotel. So delicious and authentic North Indian taste. Definitely recommend this if you are in Munich.

Essen sowie Portionen richtig gut gewürzt, und ausreichend. Service sehr freundlich. Preise durchschnittlicher Münchner Niveau. Kann das vegetarische Jackfruit Gericht sehr empfehlen. Das einzige was zu bemängeln ist, ist der sehr unangenehme Geruch wenn man hereinkommt.

Service and atmosphere is fine but the food is bland for Indian food, the price to quantity is poor but if the flavor was good I wouldn't mind it. I can say I've been here once, but I'll not make it twice

Sehr nette Bedienung und auch leckeres Essen. Mir war es persönlich etwas zu scharf und nicht ganz den Preis wert, da die Gerichte mit teilweise 17€ schon etwas teurer sind. Wenn das Essen weniger kosten würde, würde ich bestimmt wieder kommen, so wahrscheinlich eher nicht.

I am in Munich for the weekend and got a chance to eat at Delhi Mehek. The experience was blissful !! Totally enjoyed the Chicken Tikka Biryani.. amazing flavors and authentic taste. It is a must try..

Best Indian food in Munich. You will not be disappointed Edit: unfortunately food became very expensive here.

Lovely restaurant with delicious Indian food. Be it the thali or biriyani, they are all mouthwatering good. We always found a place to dine whenever we went. It was filled with people which is a testament to the food quality. I would recommend the Chicken Tikka Biryani with your drink of choice, like a bottle or two of cola.

Wir waren zugegebenermaßen etwas skeptisch weil das Restaurant durch die Lage und ersten optischen Eindruck nicht ganz überzeugt. ABER wir sind wirklich begeistert, essen richtig lecker und der Service auch total nett und aufmerksam. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!
