What awaits the unsuspecting customer here? The full spectrum of condescending treatment, coupled with overpriced prices. But fortunately you can enjoy the experience at very small tables. The dishes are okay, but unfortunately the prices for the food are too high. It is neither sophisticated enough nor is the quality of the ingredients particularly high. The waitress slams down menus without saying a word, doesn't ask the guest for any further requests (keyword service?!) and you can enjoy everything together at a table that is barely wider than the plate itself. Perhaps the concept should be reconsidered here, because even wealthy customers avoid stores where service and quality are not up to par.

Yesterday at 12:30 p.m. we had lunch at the Syrtaki restaurant in Gernsbach. There were only four guests besides us in the beautifully decorated restaurant. We received a friendly welcome, and our drinks and food arrived quickly. We chose gyros in Metaxa sauce, topped with cheese, French fries, and salad, as well as grilled beef liver with fried onions, French fries, and salad. Unfortunately, the salad came without dressing and only with Mediterranean seasoning. The gyro was good and a really large portion. It's a shame that the French fries were also in the casserole dish over the Metaxa sauce, because they were completely soggy after a short time. The beef liver was good, just a bit too tough, and the onions were deep-fried and too greasy. The price-performance ratio is absolutely fine, as the portions are really very large. The toilets are like new and sparkling clean - other restaurants could learn a thing or two from them.

The meat platter I ordered was not good. The meat wasn't cooked through. The tapas starter was good.

The taste of the food is rather boring. Quite expensive for mostly very dry meat. Prices are now quite high. Service was inattentive and never came. Positively 2 Uozo on the house, even though they tasted very different.

Delicious and plentiful food, a wide selection, and a good selection of drinks. Friendly service, and everything served quickly. There's also a huge dessert and delicious Greek coffee. Highly recommended.

Sitting outside is great and very romantic. The service is friendly and warm. Prices are also fair. Unfortunately I didn't like the gyros... far too greasy but the fries and salt were delicious :)

Got a table spontaneously and had a delicious meal. We got a table without any problems and immersed ourselves directly in the Greek atmosphere. Somehow everything is one big family 😍. Whether it was a small dish or a specialty plate, it was very tasty. The baguette is fresh, the gyros are crispy, the mince is extremely tasty. The pepperoni is not too hot and has a lot of garlic, the steak is really tender, perfect. Plus deliciously prepared chickpeas. We felt very comfortable and welcome and would be happy to come back.

It's a shame that the boss is the nicest waitress, there's another way. Dry meat that has been fried for too long, some burnt meat happens when the chef doesn't care at all about what he presents to the customer, then you just cook yourself again and invite friends to your house. Sorry earlier, was your meat delicious? You are a great restaurant, if the chef is not busy, even though the restaurant is not really full, then he doesn't care. The fact was once again that my meat was just as dry as my wife's, even though I came an hour later. Then there was the fact that the meat was hardly seasoned. The waitress was even annoyed when my friend asked if they could pack up the leftovers. Unfortunately it wasn't the first time, which was really annoying. There wasn't even an Uso, only the salad and the fries were good. If our food isn't good again, I won't come with my friends anymore. Then we'll look for another favorite restaurant, definitely.
