⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ein rundum gelungener Abend zu zehnt – und das fängt schon beim Service an! Selten erlebt man ein Team, das so aufmerksam, herzlich und dabei vollkommen natürlich agiert. Keine aufgesetzte Gastfreundschaft, kein routiniertes Abarbeiten – sondern echter Charme, gute Laune und ein feines Gespür dafür, wann man präsent sein sollte und wann man die Gäste in Ruhe lässt. Für eine Gruppe von zehn Personen ist das keine Selbstverständlichkeit, und genau das hat den Abend von Beginn an auf eine besondere Note gehoben. Das Essen hat diesem starken Auftritt dann vollends entsprochen: schmackhaft, stimmig und ohne Abstriche. Das Ambiente lädt ein, zu verweilen – und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis gibt einem das gute Gefühl, dass man hier wirklich fair behandelt wird, auch finanziell. Kurz gesagt: Das Metá in Ulm ist eine klare Empfehlung – nicht nur für Zweier, sondern auch für grössere Runden, die einen schönen gemeinsamen Abend verbringen möchten. Wir kommen gerne wieder! 🙏

Sehr gutes Essen, sehr gutes Personal. Die Location ist schon sehr laut. Aber wenn der Service immer so schnell ist wie bei uns, ist man ohnehin nicht länger als 1,5h-2h im Restaurant. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Hervorragender Service, herausragendes Essen in einer ansprechenden Location!

Es war weder typisch griechischen, noch sonst etwas. Kleine Portiönchen, die ein griechischer Wirt allenfalls als Geschmacksproben herausgegeben hätte. Preise maßlos überspannt, Speisekarte sehr übersichtlich. Lautstärke im Lokal an der akustischen Schnerzgrenze.

Ich feier mit meiner Familie den Geburtstag meiner Oma. Hier wird das essen Plattenweise serviert. Ich muss sagen die Vorspeisen waren leider nichts für mich, jedoch fanden die anderen alles sehr lecker und luxuriös. Alles was danach kam fande ich auch schon besser. Das Fleisch ist top, den Fisch bekam ich nicht zu probieren doch er sah verdammt lecker aus. Pommes top, Getränke top. Leider konnte ich mich hier nicht satt essen und ich hatte nicht so viel Auswahl. Die Toiletten sind sehr sauber. Für Leute die was neues probieren wollen klare Empfehlung

Ich habe Paprika mit Feta und Gemüse, serviert mit geröstetem Pitabrot, probiert – alles war wirklich gut, aber das geröstete Pitabrot hat mir am besten geschmeckt. Das Ambiente ist ebenfalls sehr elegant. Die Aromen waren harmonisch aufeinander abgestimmt und die Präsentation war hervorragend.

Mezze, Calamaris, Fleischspiesse waren wunderbar. Herausragend waren Burrata mit Auberginenpesto und Thunfisch mit weissem Spargel. Hervorzuheben ist die äusserst freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung. Unsere Kinder liebten die alkoholfreien Drinks :-) Wir werden äusserst gerne wieder kommen!

Das Essen ist legendär, die zwei Oberkellner sind die nettesten die es gibt. Eines der besten Restaurant in ganz Baden Wüttemberg! Sogar das Essen kommt recht schnell. Im Sommer kann man auch sehr schön draußen sitzen! Da das Parkhaus direkt daneben ist, kommt man immer schnell hin!

Sehr gute Speisen in einer schönen Atmosphäre mit Personal, das gute Stimmung vermittelt. Wir besuchen das Lokal immer wieder sehr gerne.

Hallo. Das Essen top, Ambiente top. Service ist grundsätzlich gut, aber zu hektisch, schnelles abräumen, leere Gläser sofort entfernt. Sicher geschuldet den angewandten Timeslots, dafür leidet aber dass die Gäste sich wohlfühlen. Sind seit Jahren gerne und oft bei Meta gewesen, immer wieder gerne weiter empfohlen. Aber der letzte Besuch wird es erstmal gewesen sein.

Salatsosse war sehr sauer, aber noch die beste Erfahrung. Ich hatte ein Filetsteak bestellt in Medium Rare. Stattdessen habe ich wie man den Bildern entnehmen kann ein Well-Done bis Medium-Well-Done erhalten. Zusaetzlich war das Fleisch leider komplett versalzen. An ein Restaurant, dass sich auf Steaks fokussiert, habe ich deutlich andere Erwartungen. Definitiv keine Empfehlung.

Das Essen ist sehr gut was man für den gehobenen Preis auch erwarten kann. Der Service ist ebenfalls gut, aber es wird einem auch vermittelt das man nur ein begrenztes Zeitfenster hat. Am besten schnell bestellen, nach dem Essen noch eine Nachspeise, bezahlen und dann den Tisch frei machen für die nächsten. Das Ambiente ist ganz nett aber es ist auch eher etwas eng und laut. Fazit, gemütlich essen gehen sieht für uns anders aus.

Also ich muss sagen, dass das Essen wirklich gut war. Ich hatte als Vorspeise das Tzaziki und als Hauptgang den Lachs. Vino= Weissburgunder Allerdings fand ich, dass man etwas links liegen gelassen wurde. Ein Restaurant lebt auch von der Bedienung. Und ich reise nunmal geschäftlich allein. Und auch ich habe allein 60 Euro gezahlt. Da kann man verlangen, dass nicht alles im vorbeilaufen passiert.

Selten so gut gegessen. Heute zum ersten Mal dort gewesen und ohne Reservierung einen Tisch bekommen. Der Service war mehr als perfekt. Ein sehr gut eingespieltes Team. Das Essen war richtig lecker und auch zum Nachtisch wurde ein Espresso angeboten. Preislich sicherlich nicht das günstigste Restaurant, aber es ist jeden Euro wert. Wir kommen garantiert wieder. Weiter so...

Sehr leckeres Essen und vermutlich die freundlichsten Kellner in Ulm, eine absolute Empfehlung. Besser reservieren; es ist oft ausgebucht.

Excellenter Service und das beste Flank Steak was ich seit Jahren gegessen habe.

Das Meta ist, für mich, eines der besten Restaurants in Ulm. Der Service ist herausragend, das Essen sehr gut und das Ambiente ansprechend. Das Meta versucht nicht etwas darzustellen was es nicht ist, es ist einfach ein Restaurant der gehobenen Mittelklasse, das großen Wert auf Qualität und Gastlichkeit legt und für mich seine Hausaufgaben wirklich gemacht hat. Ich bin hier gerne, alle paar Wochen und esse zu Abend.

Ich war nicht mehr so zufrieden wie beim letzten Mal und werde erst mal nicht mehr hin gehen. Die Meeresfrüchte Vorspeise war zwar lecker, dass man dazu kein Brot bekommt und noch extra 5€ berappen muss, ist echt ungemütlich. Der griechische Rotwein war sehr gut. Das Rib Eye Steak war zu dünn und Bestand zu über 1/3 aus zähem Fett. Das ist mir bei 48€ doch etwas derb. Dafür gab es fast keine Beilage - der kleine Salat und ein paar Mini Bratkartöffelchen. Die waren dafür zu salzig. Die Schoko Nachspeise war wieder lecker. Was mich auch gestört hat, war der Service. Dafür, dass das Essen hochpreisig ist, wurde fast wie in einer Spelunke bedient. Schnell, hektisch, fahrig. Der Wein wurde allen (wie im Edelrestaurant) eingeschenkt, aber bei wirklich fast jedem Glas hat der Ober eine Tropfen-Spur auf dem Tisch hinterlassen. Wir mussten dauernd selber wischen. Auch das Abräumen war hektisch. Dabei hat er mir ein Stück öligen Salat auf das Hemd gekleckert. Er hat einen von uns mit den Ellenbogen die Schulter gestoßen und sich nicht entschuldigt. Insgesamt war es sehr eng bestuhlt und extrem laut. Da wird man schnell heiser. Die Toiletten waren nicht so sauber wie ich das bei diesem Preisniveau erwartet hätte. Wenn das öfter so läuft, wird sich der Ruf nicht halten können.

Tolles Restaurant mit sehr schönem Ambiente. Die Service Mitarbeiter sind sehr zuvorkommend, professionell, freundlich und bei der Auswahl hilfsbereit. Das Essen war Traumhaft. Alles war perfekt gewürzt und gut auf einander abgestimmt. Ich kann das Restaurant nur empfehlen. Komme gerne wieder.

Das Essen ist wirklich gut! Aber es war sehr laut und die Ober rannten so schnell um einen rum, dass sehr viel Hektik und Unruhe verbreitet wurde. Wenn alles etwas langsamer organisiert würde, wäre es ein entspannter Abend geworden.

Very nice ambiance and nicely decorated. It's a bit cramped inside when it gets busy, but otherwise it's a bit more spacious outside. The staff is very attentive and polite. We were there with our baby and felt very well looked after. The prices are a bit high and the dishes a bit small, but they are high quality and incredibly delicious. You have to mix and match the starters yourself, otherwise you'll just end up with a portion of tzatziki. It's not for everyone, but I think it's great. Great food, very friendly service

We've been going to Meta regularly for years, including today, and we're always very satisfied! We still consider it one of the best restaurants in Ulm. Delicious food and great, friendly, and attentive service. We've never personally encountered an unfriendly staff. Yes, it's more expensive than other restaurants, but it's worth the food and service. We'll be happy to continue coming.

We spontaneously managed to get a nice table inside for two on Saturday evening. Our server was very friendly, attentive, and looked after us very well from start to finish.

We had a wonderful time at Meta today. The meze were all special and unique in their flavor! The main courses were also very, very good! I shared a sea bream myself, and I have to emphasize not only the taste but also its exceptional freshness. The team was extremely attentive and even accommodated a special request (fried haloumi as a starter). Thanks to the whole team. We'd be happy to go back.

A very pleasant atmosphere with excellent service. I can't remember when I've had such good and authentic Greek food in Germany. Fine dining. Thanks to our waitress Simon, we felt very comfortable.

We had a wonderful evening with six people, with excellent service and top-quality food. An example of the good service: an excellent recommendation for our shared appetizer. After a white wine was no longer available, we were recommended a suitable alternative in a similar price range. The steak was perfect! It wasn't our first time, and certainly won't be our last!

I've never felt so uncomfortable in a restaurant. The service staff is arrogant and makes you feel anything but welcome. Friendliness never hurt anyone. The prices are exorbitant, the meat skewers tasted good but were stringy and fatty. The tzatziki, in my opinion, had far too much garlic and was very heavy. The fries were delicious. Being a guest there once was enough for me.

If a steak costs €52, I expect it to be cooked to perfection, but unfortunately it was burnt. The appetizers were OK, but as I said, everything was quite overpriced. The staff was very friendly. No small ouzo to finish off, as is typical of Greek restaurants. Unfortunately, several items on the bill were listed twice. I looked at the bill and noticed it right away (no surprise, given the prices), and everything was immediately corrected without any problems.

Rude, patronising waiter. Talked down to us as we were foreign, and asking for the Wi-Fi code. At 13.20 told us the kitchen was closing soon. He couldn’t have been less welcoming, so we left.

The food is very good. The lamb chops, in particular, were beautifully tender. The desserts are also highly recommended. The service was good and they were very knowledgeable, especially regarding the wines. However, the cleanliness is quite lacking, considering you're in a more upscale restaurant. The glasses had water stains, and the windows could use a bit of a cleaning, even on the outside. All in all, still highly recommended 👍🏼

The food was very good and perfectly seasoned, but the prices were generally high. I would have expected, for example, a bread refill or a free ouzo. Service could have been a bit more attentive, but it was quite full. The tables at the front in the passage and at the bar were fine, otherwise a very nice atmosphere. It's annoying that tables are booked twice on weekends; you feel a bit rushed; the second round of reservations was much more pleasant.

Sehr freundlicher Service, Ambiente ebenso angenehm. Das Essen kann mit dem Service nicht mithalten. Meine Fleischspiese waren trotz sehr durchwachsenem Fleisch sehr trocken, was daran lag, dass die Fleischwürfelchen sehr klein waren. Für den Preis hätte ich wunderbares, saftig gebratenes Fleisch erwartet. Die Kartöffelchen waren teilweise fast schwarz und ebenfalls sehr trocken, sind zu lange in der Warteschleife gehangen. Das Zaziki hatte leider so viel Knoblauch, dass man nach der ersten Gabel nur noch Knoblauch geschmeckt hat. Der Nachtisch, dreierlei Sorbet war lecker, aber preislich am oberen Ende.

What awaits the unsuspecting customer here? The full spectrum of condescending treatment, coupled with overpriced prices. But fortunately you can enjoy the experience at very small tables. The dishes are okay, but unfortunately the prices for the food are too high. It is neither sophisticated enough nor is the quality of the ingredients particularly high. The waitress slams down menus without saying a word, doesn't ask the guest for any further requests (keyword service?!) and you can enjoy everything together at a table that is barely wider than the plate itself. Perhaps the concept should be reconsidered here, because even wealthy customers avoid stores where service and quality are not up to par.

Very friendly welcome, courteous service, pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately the food cannot keep up with the service. Apart from the very small portion, the quality of the meat skewers was not appropriate for the price charged for them. The pieces of meat were very small and, although very mixed (more like pork belly than fillet), super dry, the potatoes were in the pan for too long and some of them were already black, the tzatziki had so much garlic that after a forkful no other flavor had a chance. It's a shame that balanced and fine cuisine can be done differently. The dessert of three types of sorbet was again very tasty. Conclusion Claim and price are not reflected in the products offered. We had a very good experience on our first visit. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case at all the second time. Two stars for the food – it wasn't anything special, but it was good. The service, however, was unfortunately not good at all. They try to be an upscale establishment, but they don't live up to that claim. The older waiter was very hectic, unfriendly, and inattentive. You don't feel welcome with him; he often reacts irritably. The other, younger colleagues, on the other hand, were friendly and helpful. The wine was served hectically – and not in the correct manner. The wine glasses were simply refilled without asking if you wanted more at that time. Orders were taken but ignored. And you had to call the waiter three times before you got extra bread. The prices are on the upscale side, but the service doesn't live up to that in any way. Furthermore, as a guest, you feel like you're being "rushed through" as quickly as possible. That shouldn't happen in a restaurant like this. The guest is the focus and not the other way around.

Meta Ulm is a highlight every time! The food is great, the atmosphere is modern and cozy - but above all: the waiters are absolutely top class! Friendly, attentive and always in a good mood. You just feel completely comfortable. Clear recommendation for everyone who appreciates good food and top service!

This is truly one of the top locations in Ulm. The ambiance is superb, and the seating is very pleasant. The food is incredibly delicious—there's fantastic, upscale Greek cuisine and truly delicious steaks—cooked to perfection and served without any frills, so the meat really takes center stage. There's a wide selection of wines and other beverages to complement it. My personal highlight, however, was the staff: I've rarely been served so kindly and well. The team is not only prompt, attentive, and friendly, but truly manages to convey to their guests that they are genuinely pleased to have them there. The prices are high, but absolutely reasonable for the service. I would definitely go back!

Very interesting and extensive wine list. Not only Greek wines, other countries and regions are also discussed. Lots of wine by the glass too. The menu is well thought out and all dishes are delivered quickly and beautifully presented. The mixed grill is highly recommended, but don't doubt the surf and turf. Very tasty.

RIP-OFF!! We had Christmas dinner with the department at the end of November 2024. We were sent two menu suggestions and a small menu in advance. We decided to choose from the small menu. We didn't know that there was a 3-course menu and it wasn't communicated to us. The nasty surprise came when we paid: we were charged a menu for €58 per person. The majority of us only ordered a main course for around €25 – €30 and should now pay €58 for it! The managing director constantly referred to the terms and conditions, which supposedly stated a minimum turnover of €58 p.a. P. plus drinks is called. Funny that the terms and conditions actually only state a minimum turnover of €48 per person. P. stands. We also sat in front of the empty plates for 30 minutes before they were cleared away. We had to wait a mere 20 minutes for a cappuccino. Allergies were not taken into account, even though they were expressly mentioned when placing the order. Pure rip-off and very unfriendly demeanor - I definitely won't come back!!!

Exquisite restaurant with creative cuisine and an exceptional wine list - the service also matches this level. Here a restaurant advertises itself as being in the premium class and yet remains down-to-earth to a certain extent. In short: you can treat yourself to the meta every now and then.

Wir haben an einem Abend spontan einen Tisch für zwei Personen in diesem gehobenen Restaurant bekommen, nachdem wir es bereits mehrfach vergeblich versucht hatten. Die Vorfreude war entsprechend groß, doch unsere Erfahrung blieb leider hinter den Erwartungen zurück. Essen: Zur Vorspeise wählten wir den gemischten Vorspeisenteller „Meta Pikilia“, der geschmacklich gut war, jedoch keine besonderen Akzente setzte. Als Hauptgerichte hatten wir einen Fleischspieß sowie Oktopus mit mediterranem Gemüse. Der Oktopus war gelungen und gut zubereitet, der Fleischspieß hingegen leider etwas trocken. Generell waren alle Speisen für das gehobene Niveau des Restaurants zu schwach gewürzt, was die Gerichte etwas eintönig erscheinen ließ. Die Teller waren sehr schön angerichtet, was das Auge erfreute, aber der Geschmack konnte das optische Versprechen nicht ganz einlösen. Ein weiterer Punkt: Das Brot zum Tzatziki muss separat bestellt werden – eine Kleinigkeit, die in dieser Preisklasse irritiert. Service: Der Service war der größte Kritikpunkt unseres Besuchs. Bereits beim Betreten des Restaurants fühlten wir uns wenig willkommen. Während des Essens wurden wir nur sporadisch betreut und hatten Schwierigkeiten, weitere Getränke zu bestellen. Unsere Anmerkungen und Verbesserungsvorschläge haben wir höflich an die Bedienung weitergegeben, doch leider hatten wir den Eindruck, dass diese nicht ernst genommen wurden. Fazit: Das Restaurant punktet mit einem gehobenen Ambiente und schön angerichteten Speisen, kann aber weder mit dem Geschmack der Gerichte noch mit dem Service überzeugen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt hier nicht. Wir hoffen, dass unsere Kritik als Anreiz zur Verbesserung dient, denn das Potenzial ist definitiv vorhanden.

Compliments to the kitchen! There were eight of us there and everyone loved their main course. Only the desserts were a bit too sweet. The prices are high for that 😄 And at this point, unfortunately, the criticism: Unfortunately, the service pretty much spoiled the evening for us. We were served by a grumpy waiter who hardly exchanged a word with us. After eating we were ignored for 1.5 hours, couldn't order any more drinks and in the end they were insulted with us because we wanted to split the bill. Yes, it was busy - but to let the stress show like that is really not possible in a restaurant in this price range. Food great, service flop - and if you are treated condescendingly, that unfortunately stays in your head. Too bad!

The Meta is a safe bet if you want to eat very well in a beautiful atmosphere and great service. Both the excellent starters (Loukaniko on Fava with caramelized onions is awesome, for example), as well as the diverse main courses and desserts are consistently great. The wine selection is also worth highlighting, there are both inexpensive entry-level wines as well as real top wines and rarities and everything in between. The Meta is not cheap, but the price/performance ratio is definitely not only suitable, but actually very good.

Das war 100% Top! Besser geht es nicht! Wir sind absolut glücklich! Sehr zartes Rindsfilet, perfekte Garnelen und ein super saftiges Lachsfilet. Vorspeisentellern war grandios und vom Kellner empfohlen. Empfohlener Wein; noch nie getrunken, aber Klasse!

After a long break due to moving, the meta for a family celebration was once again. Excellent advice in advance, perfect appointment reminders, very friendly and professional contact. On the evening of the event everything was well prepared, the service was, as usual, super friendly and really on point! The food (we had chosen the recommended menu) was delicate, great starter platters, both the meat and fish for the main course were perfectly cooked and super tasty, as were the side dishes. The mixed dessert plates were highly praised by everyone and were completely cleaned up. The wines selected went well. All in all: a wonderful evening with excellent cuisine and unbeatable service. Any time!!! You are missing in Munich!!!

We were “guests” at Meta as part of our Christmas party. Since there were 19 of us, we were given a "small card" without any information about prices when we made the reservation. The taste of the restaurant was convincing, but the service on site was rather poor. Requested drinks such as Radler Soezi, Fanta, ... were not available and the empty plates were left at the table for up to 30 minutes. However, the rude awakening came when paying. The “small menu” was sold to us as a menu costing €58. So we were charged the full price, even though the majority of the party had only eaten one main course. The dubious discussion was ended with a reference to the terms and conditions (false statement from the restaurateur about the cost of the menu). We covered the bill in full. Ultimately, the impression of an incompetent, arrogant and decadent restaurateur remained. - It's a shame, customer orientation looks different.

La comida estaba bien, el servicio era miserable! Numerosas bebidas no podían servirse (por ejemplo, Radler, Spezi) porque el sistema de grifería era supuestamente defectuoso, los platos vacíos permanecían sobre la mesa durante lo que se sentía como una eternidad. Meta is definitely one of the best spots offering authentic greek food in Ulm. We visited as a group of 6 and mostly ordered seafood. The food was very fresh and tasted great! The menu is a bit pricey, but worth the trial. Totally recommended 👍

Locale dove non si mangia male. Oggi probabilmente tutto molto in fretta e mancanza di cura dell’ospite. Bifteki “crudo” tipi tartare. La mia grigliata mista buona. Il colmo è che “vin santo” greco “Organico” da 12€ al bicchiere viene portato al tavolo con molti residui (fondo di bottiglia). Il cameriere invece di riconoscere l’errore provava a spacciare il vino santo greco come prelibatezza e dubitava della mia capacità di discernere. Inoltre avendo avuto il tavolo fino alle ore 20.00 dalle 19.30 venivamo invitati a saldare il conto ed andarcene. Per un locale con tante pretese assolutamente ridicolo.

My husband and I absolutely loved it! The food was outstanding, the ambience was perfectly coordinated and we would particularly like to highlight the excellent service of our waiter Damien. Friendly, attentive and professional – we will definitely be back!

Food was very tasty. I had the tuna as a starter and the lentil salad with cheese as my main course. However, the seat at the high table with the high chairs was not that comfortable. Since we hadn't made a reservation, we were happy to get a place 😀

Jeder hat ja eine zweite Chance verdient. Somit zweiter Versuch mit der Familie. Leider war das Essen derart schlecht, dass es teilweise zurück ging. Hat den service aber nicht interessiert. Die Frage ob es geschmeckt hat wird gar nicht gestellt. Sonst teilweise versalzen und über dem Fisch soviel Zitronensaft, dass man sonst nichtmehr geschmeckt hat. Einer der Gäste wurde nicht rein gelassen mit der Begründung er wisse nicht an welchem Tisch wir sitzen würden. Nach 15 Minuten Wartezeit habe ich den gast danbn rein geholt. Im Restaurant ist es sehr laut. Dies liegt teilweise an den Räumen selbst aber auch daran, dass man überall noch einen Stuhl reinquetscht um noch etwas mehr Umsatz zu machen. So kommt richtiges Kantinenfeeling auf Das ganze dann zu Preisen die noch gesalzener als das Essen sind. Für uns und unsere Familie bzw, Freunde sicher der letzte Besuch. Mal sehen wie lange dies Geschäftskonzept noch funktioniert

Today we were at Meta with 7 people to celebrate a birthday. We were asked to decorate the table beautifully! The table looked like all other tables even though we were told it was specially decorated! Of 7 meals, 3 were too salty!

Vorspeise aus versalzenem Thunfischtartar und zu trockenen Fischstreifchen. Hauptgang Lachs (wieder zu trocken) mit kleiner Kartoffel-/ Gemüsebeilage (okay). Den Beilagensalat ließen wir zurückgehen, da die streng und salzig schmeckende Dressing wie Industriesauce schmeckte. Knapper Kommentar des Kellners: „IHRE Meinung“. Zweite Hauptspeise Bifteki mit Pommes Frites und Zaziki akzeptabel für Liebhaber heftiger Knoblauch-Würzung. Das Lokal ist sehr laut, wozu die „Hintergrundmusik“ beiträgt, von der man nur das Wummern der Bässe wahrnehmen kann. Aufdringlicher Service mit ständiger Getränke-Nachfrage. Überteuert, z.B. 0,5 l Mineralwasser = € 5,60.

Won't be coming back again. The food is good, the portions are rather small and the prices are high. The atmosphere wasn't very relaxed. All in all, we still tried to enjoy the evening, ordered properly and celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary. When we paid with the card, we added a big tip. As a thank you, the waiter didn't even look at us, took the EC machine and just went on without so much as a "goodbye". This leaves a negative aftertaste.

Werden nicht nochmal wiederkommen. Das Essen ist gut, die Portionen eher klein und mit stolzen Preisen. Das Ambiente war nicht sehr entspannt. Alles in allem haben wir den Abend trotzdem versucht zu geniessen, ordentlich bestellt und unseren 10. Hochzeitstag gefeiert. Beim Zahlen mit der Karte noch ordentlich Trinkgeld draufgelegt, als Dankeschön würdigte uns der Kellner keines Blickes, nahm sich das EC Gerät und ging einfach weiter ohne auch nur ein „Tschüss“. Das hinterlässt einen negativen Beigeschmack.

We had dinner with 6 people on August 17th, 2024, the online reservation was a problem, there was no confirmation, only after the third attempt, the waiter was very arrogant, we had a starter, main course and dessert, we finished our meal finished, and then we weren't asked if we wanted something more to drink, we then waited forever for the bill, unfortunately there was no tip

Das Erlebnis im Meta war etwas ungewöhnlich: Eigentlich war das Essen sehr gut (aber auch recht teuer), das ganze Restaurant sehr edel und geschmackvoll, der Service freundlich. Sehr witzig fanden wir die Idee des Überraschungsweins! Aber irgendwie fühlten wir uns hier einfach nicht richtig wohl. Vielleicht lag es am etwas übereifrigen Service, der uns gleich viermal fragte, ob wir eine Flasche Wasser wollen, vielleicht die grenzwertigen Preise, vielleicht war alles etwas zu gewollt – es war jedenfalls irgendwie unentspannt und ohne richtigen Wohlfühlfaktor.

Despite some of bad reviews from previous years, I decided to cancel a German restaurant and came to reserve a table on Friday 1h before opening (at 17:00). Surprisingly, they had places. At the end, it was a perfect dinner! Their chef is a professional! I liked everything we ordered: salad Surf & Turf (with black Angus beef and grilled calamari), Duett (grilled haloumi cheese and artichokes), pita, chocolate soufflé with vanilla ice cream and red currant! Olives, bread with olive oil were also very tasty! I give a credit to the waiter, who spoke English very well. He forgot that we ordered one of the dishes but he apologised and said it’s his fault without further discussion. Not all people accept their mistakes so easy. Overall, highly recommended! But better book a table in advance.

I came especially from Innsbruck and due to the traffic I was 20 minutes late. Instead of 9 p.m. I arrived at 9:20 p.m., I even knew what I wanted to eat and I was simply told that the kitchen would like to do it at 9 p.m :20. Many people raved about Meta, unfortunately it didn't happen, so I would prefer to give it 0 stars because there was no response at all

The food is always fresh and very culinary Greek, or just a good steak on the plate. There is no big, overloaded map, rather small and fine. Fish and meat and a little more salad. They also have a very well-stocked wine list. The prices are OK. The atmosphere is cozy and the waitresses are always nice and friendly. There is usually a place for two people, at lunchtime 90% of the time and in the evening if you're lucky, but it's safest to order in advance as the place is a bit small and very popular. We've been eating there for about 5 years, even at lunchtime with a slightly cheaper lunch menu, and have always been very satisfied. We don't normally do that, but this time we recommended a restaurant, Meta. And our acquaintances, who already know a few more, thanked us yesterday for this wonderful tip. They were also thrilled that the food was excellent.

Simply fresh and delicious Greek. Very courteous service. With good recommendations for the daily dish and wine from the Palatinate. Whether alone quickly or with friends, everyone can enjoy fine food here.

The food was excellent. We had the meat skewers and the vegetarian salad. The aromas from the grilling of the meat were particularly impressive – simply delicious. The service was very attentive and friendly, which is particularly noteworthy. We also really liked the large selection of international wines on the separate wine list. The ambience is beautiful and everything looks high quality. We can highly recommend the restaurant!

DO NOT EAT here. The staff are rude…and forced us to leave when the restaurant wasn’t even FULL. We sat for 20 minutes, and we were patient. I was about to take a call outside and wanted to let them know we were ready to order. The manager the night of 19 July, said we didn’t have a reservation we don’t get served. But the restaurant was EMPT and there were 12 empty tables. What poor customer service and it’s shameful to treat people as we are not worth to be in the restaurant. I have always felt welcome as a Greek Canadian, living in Ulm , that gentleman made us expats feel unwanted and the lowest of the low. Don’t waste your money.

Highly Recommended. Everything fits here, ambience, properly prepared meat, great salad and friendly service. Even salt and pepper shakers are well filled. Any time.

European evening and in the streets of ULM you can hear rejoicing for the goals and celebrate. In this place with an outdoor space I managed to find a free table after a bit of waiting which was worth it. Good service, excellent wine and super, nice and fresh food. I will definitely go back. Well done, a restaurant that I won't forget even if I was on business. Thank you

There were seven of us at Meta on Friday evening, the online reservation worked great and the service was friendly. However, the price-performance ratio is underground. The prices of the a la carte dishes are already exorbitant (tzatziki €8.50, peppers stuffed with feta €20.50), and the daily specials are outrageously expensive. Unfortunately, we weren't given a price when he recommended it (1 sea bream in lemon juice for 2 people + some grilled vegetables = €78). It was a run-of-the-mill meal that doesn't justify the price in any way. If you're not looking for anything special and want to spend a lot of money, this is the right place for you. It's a shame that unfortunately spoiled our appetite.
