Best gyros in Ulm/Neu-Ulm. Excellent service. Better than any Döners ever.

Three of us went to Kr-eat in Neu-Ulm for lunch on a Wednesday. The value for money is very good, the portions are generous, and the food was delicious. We were able to sit outside in the sun and enjoy our meal. Due to the large number of guests, we had to wait a bit, but the wait was still reasonable. All in all, we can definitely recommend Kr-eat.

Finally, you can enjoy authentic Greek food in Neu-Ulm... you can tell it's homemade and made with attention to detail. Simply fantastic

I wanted to add this, even though it's been a while, but I think if something's good, it's better to mention it later than never! 04/30/2023: After visiting LEGO Land, we were looking for a quick bite to eat from the hotel and found it here. We had a super delicious soup of the day and a pita. The food was delicious, and the selection on the small menu was good. The service was friendly and very helpful. If we're in the area again, we'll be back.

A good Greek restaurant right in Neu-Ulm

This restaurant is by far the best Greek restaurant! "Snack bar" doesn't fit here – the quality and authenticity surpass many other Greek restaurants. The food is incredibly delicious, fresh, and typically Greek. The portions are generous, and the prices are fair. In addition to the classic grilled dishes, there is a great selection of traditional cooked dishes, including many vegetarian options. Daily specials ensure variety – just ask! The desserts are also really good. The owner is a warm person who knows his craft. You can tell that the cooking here is done with passion, far beyond standard grilled cuisine. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy good Greek food in a relaxed atmosphere!

Highly recommended! Kr-eat is an authentic Greek fast food restaurant with a chef from Crete – and you can taste it! In addition to the classic gyros, pita, and souvlaki, there are lovingly prepared daily specials. Everything is fresh, delicious, and cooked with a lot of heart. I'd love to come back!

KR-Eat ist für mich die beste griechische Taverne der Region. Authentisch, herzlich und einfach köstlich! Der Chef ist unglaublich freundlich und sorgt immer für eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Das Essen ist durchweg hervorragend – besonders das Gyros und Souvlaki, das ich jedes Mal bestelle, ist einfach unschlagbar. Wer echtes griechisches Essen in gemütlichem Ambiente sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert!

As far as I know, the only place I can find better Greek food is Fürth. ☘️ This snack bar is one of the few places I'll remember fondly from Neu-Ulm.

Ein verstecktes Juwel. Wir hatten das Tagesgericht (Lamm) und eine Pita. Das Lamm war super zart und geschmacklich mit allen Beilagen unglaublich. Wir haben es im Mai an einem schönen Sonnentag besucht und sind auf der Außenbestuhlung gesessen mit griechischer Musik im Hintergrund. Der Besitzer kam regelmäßig zu uns an den Tisch und hat uns noch ein kleinen Nachtisch (Baklava-Cheescake) auf den Tisch gestellt. Super lecker und es war ein Geschenk vom Besitzer der einfach unglaublich sympathisch ist. Durch das Wetter und das Ambiente kamen griechische Vibes auf. Nur zu empfehlen!

Nachdem ich zuvor so viel Positives hörte und las, war ich über das Essen enttäuscht. Das Pide war lauwarm und der gebackene Schafskäse mit Olivencreme war zusätzlich mit einer süß-sauren Fertig-Chillisauce "verfeinert". Auch dem Krautsalat fehlte es etwas an Würze. Leider nicht so lecker.

As a native Greek, I have very high standards in Greek food outside of Greece, and this place exceeded them. The food feels mom made and the desserts are the best ones I ever had in a Greek place in Germany. Also the owner was so nice and friendly, definitely serves the Greek hospitality ideal.

Alle Kuchen (Orangenkuchen, Walnusskuchen, ...) sind ungenießbar, da sie praktisch nur aus Glukosesirup bestehen.

A restaurant like on the Greek islands: nothing fancy, just very good food and very nice people. Large portions at a fair price: from pita and mezze to pot dishes and dessert. We'll be back just for the food! Everything tastes fresh and good. I have never eaten such good minced meat (in bifteki) in any restaurant! Many vegan & vegetarian dishes. Here I recommend the coleslaw - to put it in! It's a mix of snack bar and restaurant, I like the feel of being on holiday. Greek radio is playing in the background and the crew sometimes has time for a joke, but the service is still quick and courteous. Efcharistó!

With distance! the best Greek restaurant in Neu-Ulm and Ulm. The food is fantastic. No one else can keep up, quality is top, value for money is excellent, people are super nice. Of course not a restaurant to sit in for hours, it reminds me more of a snack bar on Crete by the sea, where you quickly grab a pita in your hand before going back to the beach. ;) I love it!

Really very very good. Because it was so busy, I accidentally didn't notice that it was actually after closing time, but I was served anyway. Even before that, I noticed the service was very positive. I'm already telling everyone around me that they should eat here because the portions are just right, it feels good every time and it always tastes good. There is currently no better choice for good food on hand in Ulm/Neu-Ulm. Better than any kebab or pizza in town.

By far the worst gyros I have ever eaten.

A beautiful Greek food experience. The truth is, we ate a round of pita to try, but suddenly we found lichnaraki, halva, orange pie, xerotigana with peanut cream. Beautiful recipes and beautiful people, welcoming and smiling! Thank you very much for getting to know us!

We ordered through Liferando 1 week ago. It took over 1 hour for the delivery to arrive. The vegetables were completely roasted, calamari with some kind of sauce on it, which wasn't noticed before. Gyros were tasty, fries ok. I think the prices are too high and not appropriate for this quality.

Not convincing. Same price range as the Greek restaurant two doors down, just with a snack bar feel. It doesn't have to happen again.

Essen ist gut, aber leider zu teuer geworden! 7 Euro für kleinen Gyros! Es wäre super, wenn Sie Gyros etwas größer mit mehr Fleisch, Pommes und Gemüse machen. Danke.

Wir sind durch die „eat the World“ Tour Ulm - Neu-Ulm ins KR-eat geführt worden. Im Fastfood Ambiente wurde uns gleich vorbereitetes Essen und Trinken serviert. Für mein kranke Frau habe ich dann grüne und schwarze Kalamata-Oliven für 12,50€ aus der Thekenauslage mitgenommen. Zu Hause probiert schmecken sie sehr salzig und nach drei Tagen war ein weißlicher Schleier drauf. Nun schmecken sie gärig. Wir haben sie entsorgt.

War leider geschlossen wegen „technischer Erweiterung“. Schade bin extra mit dem Auto 15 Minuten hin gefahren um es mal zu probieren.. Update: War inzwischen dort essen und es war wirklich sehr gut, sehr zu empfehlen!

Wer die original griechisch-kretische Küche genießen will, ist im KR-eat goldrichtig!!! Das Essen wird immer frisch und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Gerichte wie man sie so selten findet. Und wenn man denkt, es gibt keine Steigerung mehr, dann kommt der Chef mit einer noch fantastischeren Gaumenfreude daher....Geschmackserlebnisse garantiert!

Das beste Moussaka das ich bisher in Deutschland essen durfte mit leichter Zimtnote, luftig leckere Zucchinibällchen mit Minzjoghurt und als Nachtisch ein griechischer Käsekuchen. Nicht lesen, hingehen und genießen. So lecker, so freundlich, so ein wunderbar feines Kleinod.

Essen ist Durchschnitt leider nicht mehr. Personal ist super freundlich.

The Kebabs in this place tasted great.. The meat was well flavoured, the sauce also well balanced with the pita bread just right. Be sure to have their freshly squeezed orange juice, the oranges used were so fresh and tasty. The service was friendly with big wide smiles 😀. I highly recommend this eatery.

Not the most upscale place when it comes to seating etc. Aside from that the food was great and the man serving us was very nice. Probably a 10/10 take away place and 8/10 sit and eat (provided u dont expect luxury dining)

Das Essen ist der Hammer. Endlich wieder Gyros! Absolut zu empfehlen.

Gyros auf die Hand hab ich schon lange nicht mehr bekommen. Ist gut gemacht. Fleisch könnte manchmal saftiger sein. Die "Pommes" mal was anderes. Portion bei Pita Gyros ist mit Pommes und 3 Brotfladen sehr üppig. Einzig die Zeit ist für die Mittagspause ein wenig das Thema. Die Nachspeisen (Galaktaboreko & Co)stehen leider nicht auf der Karte, sind aber (außer süß) saulecker. Zum Mitnehmen gibts allerdings immer noch Styropor. Die Köche sind sehr freundlich und bei der Sache.

Sehr nette Leute. Top Essen. Echte griechische Küche. Ausser Imbiss essen, auch Eintopf aus Griechenland. Immer wieder gerne.
