Restaurant Mykonos in Ulm

We've been going there for years to eat because it was the best Greek restaurant for us. This is the second time in a row that the food has tasted different, and not good. For the price, it's very disappointing. We brought this up, but they didn't listen. We don't care anymore; we won't be coming back. The service and atmosphere are good.

I've never seen such an unfriendly server. The food arrived completely wrong, and when we reported it, the manager gave us a dirty look. By far, and I mean by a huge margin, the worst Greek restaurant around. We didn't leave a tip—what for? I would have been better off talking to a McDonald's vending machine. Never, ever, ever again.

The quality of the food was very solid overall. The food quality was high, and I think this is a restaurant that will leave you very satisfied. Atmosphere was a perfect 10/10 — the atmosphere was great, and I enjoyed my meal in a relaxed atmosphere. The service was good for the price, and the staff were very courteous. Toward the end, some small details felt a bit rushed, and there was no follow-up asking how the food was. That being said, the overall experience was very positive. I would give it almost five stars and would definitely recommend this place to others.

We reserved a table for 12 people for 12 noon today, December 24th, 2025, and received confirmation. We arrived on time to find the restaurant closed. A real disappointment!

It's not what it used to be... The portions have gotten smaller thanks to different plates and bowls, but they're more expensive. Sometimes they just skewer a few meager slices of potato on a skewer and call it a side dish. The waiters aren't as friendly anymore and look anything but happy. Ultimately, it's only worth going there at lunchtime, as the lunch menu is quite good and affordable.

My partner and I come here often and enjoy it. There's always a table available without a reservation, the service is very good, and the food is highly recommended!

Great and delicious food. Super friendly staff. The food arrived quickly, so everything was good. The only downside was the noise level and the incredible amount of movement in the room. The dining room itself is very nicely decorated.

First off. We were at Mykonos several times in the last two or three years. We went again yesterday. I made a reservation the day before and specifically asked not to have a table by the exit. By the time I arrived, my friends were already seated "next to the exit!" The waiter, who clearly didn't speak German, brought the wrong beer. The rice was lukewarm and consisted of a mere three-forkfuls, and the meat on the skewer was so dry it looked like it was from yesterday. And this was at 6 p.m. A disaster.

The restaurant is modern and invitingly furnished, the menu is extensive but not overwhelming. My bifteki paired with the Greek wine was simply perfect.

The service was very fast. The food was also excellent. The taste was top-notch. The price was reasonable. What more could you want?

Nice atmosphere, unfortunately no lunch menu for vegetarians...so expensive with 20 euros for lunch...the waiter was unfortunately not very helpful on this topic...a shame, because the food was delicious

My husband and I have been coming here for 20 years, and are always extremely satisfied. The menu covers everything you'd expect to find delicious at a Greek restaurant, and there are also affordable lunch specials. But even the dishes on the main menu are often affordable even on a smaller budget. There's also a large selection of fish dishes. The new interior of the restaurant is stunning, and the restrooms are very clean. Parking is easy in the Petrus or Glacis garages.

I've went to this place plenty of times. Its just so amazing. You get so much food for such an amazing price. The waiters are very nice and welcoming. The atmosphere inside is very good aswell. If you do go, which I would recommend, you should ask the waiter for some ouzo. And if you're with kids, they even have a type of rose drink, so you can enjoy it with them too.

The ambiance and decor were modern and appealing. Some of the service staff didn't give a very friendly impression. The seating was relatively close, it was unusually warm, and the atmosphere was unpleasantly loud. My main course was very good (see picture). The side salad was a simple cabbage, tomato, and cucumber. At a Greek restaurant, perhaps an olive or feta cheese would have been appropriate. In the men's restroom, both urinals were flooded, so you could only use the single toilet stall. Everything was clean and modern, though.

Yes, very good, great lunch menu. The portions are generous for an inexpensive lunch. Great, fast service. Ouzzo is also served, of course. Highly recommended.

The food tastes great and the prices are very fair!

We went there for the second time because the food was really good the first time. The second time, unfortunately, the taste wasn't that great. On top of that, in 2025 you can't pay by card, which is a bit strange because these days you can even pay at the bakery with a credit card. It wouldn't normally be a problem, but we didn't have any cash on us, so it was a bit inconvenient. We wanted to split the bill and they said we couldn't, even though we asked for it?! All in all, it was a bit difficult, and we'll try a different Greek restaurant in the future and not come again. The price/performance ratio is fair, but the service was a bit lacking.

No card payments. If you ask for an invoice because you paid in cash, you'll be practically insulted. As punishment, probably for asking for an invoice, you'll get the change in small change. Never again.

The liver was mushy, the gyro was dry and tasteless. We waited almost an hour for our food, and others who arrived much later had already finished eating. We won't be coming here again.

I often eat at Greek restaurants and usually get a gyro. Unfortunately, this Greek restaurant didn't impress me with its cuisine. The gyro was dry and barely seasoned, the rice was completely tasteless, and the salad dressing seemed either forgotten or so subtle that you barely noticed it. The friendly service staff deserves special mention, hence the two stars. Overall, the taste was disappointing. This was my last visit to this restaurant.

Unfortunately, a disappointing visit. We had to wait an extremely long time for our food, even though guests who arrived significantly after us were served much earlier. I was back at Mykonos after a long absence. It used to be a truly authentic Greek restaurant. I was very disappointed. What a shame.

In my opinion, the food is very tasty and the service is friendly.

Overall, it was okay... but the food was terrible. The gyro was hard and unappetizing, and the worst part was the garlic-soaked pepperoni. Just thinking about it makes me sick!! I even pointed it out to the waiter that there was too much garlic, but he said it's supposed to be that way. You can't eat it, it was dipped in garlic... (and I really like garlic) But it was impossible to get down. The baked feta cheese didn't blow me away either. I would never go here again.

Very good restaurant. The only downside is that payment with a French Mastercard is not possible.

Delicious food for a nice price, food was very good

The main courses were very tasty. The salad was small and not very impressive, the saganaki could use some greens; there's always at least a pepperoni on the side. When we (6 people) finished our meal, we would have liked something to drink, but we were completely ignored. The four stars are still generous.

The food is good but the waiters are a bit hectic and things are constantly forgotten. When we ordered several drinks, we had to reorder 2 or 3 times because they kept forgetting.

Nice atmosphere, good food with service that could be improved. After the food was served we were not asked again for a drink or dessert. Despite repeated requests, we had to wait almost 30 minutes for the bill. Parts of the service team didn't seem very motivated to give us a nice evening. At least they responded kindly to my allergy requests.

It was my favorite restaurant for years, but unfortunately there is nothing left of the former warmth. You feel unwelcome, the cellars are grumpy. There is no longer any free ouzo as a welcome as there used to be. The food is still very tasty, but the portions are getting smaller and the prices are getting higher. Plus it's always incredibly loud. It's difficult to have a conversation. And there are no hygiene bags in the (very nicely furnished) toilets. But there is a small (very sparse) nursing and changing room.

At the beginning it was super friendly and at the end it felt like you had to leave quickly. The person next to the table was allowed to pay with a card and we had to pay in cash. impudence

The ambience is nice, the service good. The portions, however, were disappointing... very small portions at a high price. The rice portion fits well on a tablespoon and an octupus starter consisted of your mini arm and cheap iceberg lettuce.. there was also a lot of savings on the side salad.. That's why we wouldn't come back. Too bad.

Fish sea bream was very burnt and dry. Octopus was also heavily fried like a rubber. There was more potatoes than octopus in the plate. It was a lot of people and loud. I wouldn't recommend this place.

wir waren mittags beim Essen und da war ich ein wenig enttäuscht. es gab nur Pommes, zu jedem Gericht. Leider keine Kartoffelscheiben oder der griechische Reis den ich sehr gerne esse. Rinderleber mit Pommes, Krautsalat, Zsazikiu und ein paar Zwiebeln. 3 dünne Scheiben Leber, eine Scheibe war voll Flechsen. sonst war es okay. die Bedienungen sind alle sehr nett und freundlich gewesen, die Toilette war sauber und ansprechend eingerichtet.

Ich war mit meiner Familie zum Mittagessen dort habe eine "Sokrates-Platte" bestellt. Was soll ich sagen... Der Gyros kam mir vor wie kleingeschnittener Schweinebraten, das Fleisch war trocken und schlecht gewürzt. Die Souvlaki waren extrem trocken und ebenso wie der Gyros schlecht gewürzt, es fehlten die typischen mediteranen Gewürze. Genau so wie bei den Suzuki, alles viel zu lasch gewürzt. Es schmeckte absolut nicht wie man es eigentlich von einem griechischen Restaurant gewohnt ist. Der Salat den man vor der Hauptspeise bekam bestand aus Krautsalat, Tomaten, Zwiebeln und Gurke. Der Salat war nicht angemacht, es gab auch kein Olivenöl und Essig am Tisch. Das kenne ich anders. 3,50€ für 0,2l Cola sind auch grenzwertig. Alles in allem, das war mein letzter Besuch dort.

We were having lunch and I was a little disappointed. There were only fries with every dish. Unfortunately no potato slices or the Greek rice that I really like to eat. Beef liver with fries, coleslaw, tzatziki and a few onions. 3 thin slices of liver, one slice was full of flechen. otherwise it was okay. The wait staff were all very nice and friendly, the toilet was clean and attractively decorated

An elegant, warm place, with excellent service and food. They offer some anise liqueur appetizers that whet your appetite. Greek food is good gastronomy. I was pleased to come to this place for dinner. An important point, it was paid in cash because they had problems with the payment equipment. Luckily we had cash.

Big disappointment!!! Very small portions, the service wasn't the best either, you still had to look at the waiter if you wanted to order something else, they never came to ask on their own!!! So not comparable to the previous owner!!! Wouldn't go there to eat again!!! Unfortunately

Very good food and generous portions. The space is a bit cramped due to a high density of tables, but the full occupancy of the restaurant on Friday evening speaks of its necessity.

You can enjoy tasty Greek dishes in a cozy atmosphere: attractive portion sizes, appetizingly prepared, meat tender and well seasoned, reasonable prices. Clear recommendation and therefore deserved *****!

Had a quick lunch here for the first time.....with a starter...eaten from the lunch menu....enjoyed good house wine.... Really great restaurant...

Went there today for a short detour, service was great, food 10 out of 10, gyros were the best I've ever eaten. Unfortunately there was no room for dessert, but we'll be happy to come back.

The Greek restaurant "Mykonos" in Ulm, Germany is truly a tasty oasis! The dishes are excellent, with authentic Greek flavors and fresh ingredients. The portions are generous, while each dish takes you on a journey through Mediterranean cuisine. The highlight of the experience was the specialty dessert: ice cream filled sundae with chocolate glaze, which was perfectly executed, with just the right balance of sweetness and texture. The friendly staff and warm atmosphere complete a wonderful experience. If you're looking for authentic Greek cuisine in Germany, it's definitely worth a visit!

We ordered food. Delivery was also relatively quick and uncomplicated. The meal itself (at least €80) was far from worth the money. All of the meat was completely dry and hard. The “brown lines” from the grill were actually just burnt and bitter. The fried zucchini balls were raw, sticky lumps of dough and the fried dumplings filled with feta only tasted like rancid fry fat and unfortunately ended up in the organic waste after a short try. Only the gyro was quite ok. Quite large and juicy pieces, well seasoned. - That's why the star. There was a piece of baguette on the bread. - Somehow I was expecting nice pita bread or something. My mistake. UNFORTUNATELY the food was absolutely nothing. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the ambience and service because, as I said, we only ordered for delivery.

Nice atmosphere in the middle of Neu-Ulm, beautifully and modernly furnished. For dinner I had the gyros plate with potato slices, rice, tzatziki and a side salad. The food was very tasty, I especially liked the potato slices as they were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. What was a bit annoying for me was that the documents at our table hadn't been cleaned. There were still many places with grease on them, so it wasn't wiped down after the last guests. The waitress could have been in a better mood. All in all, still satisfactory.

A good place to enjoy Greek specialties. The atmosphere in the restaurant is modern and appealing, the seating is comfortable, the tables are cleaned and re-set for every new guest, the waiters are friendly and prompt and the food tastes great. The price-performance ratio seems reasonable. Everything fits

OK, the terrace is not my thing, the food wasn't great either, grape leaves, the filling, were very firm and served with a dill sauce, I have no idea what it was doing there, the main course, pork skewer and sirloin steak were very dry , Lamb chop was OK, the gyros was good and not dry, zaziki also not the burner and half an ice cream ball of rice, and I mean the small ice cream ball, that could have been left out, too bad but not my place

Delicious. The restaurant is very attractive. The service employees were very friendly, but they just left a somewhat rushed impression. But overall a place I will visit again.

The taste of the food was really good, even if the gyros in Metaxa sauce wasn't really Metaxa sauce but more of a paprika cream sauce. But please, why does a spezi in 0.4l cost €3.50 and a Sprite in 0.2 also cost €3.50. That's really exaggerated. I know live and let live, but margins over 140% are not possible 🙄

Very good Greek food at reasonable prices

The last time I was there I wasn't quite as impressed. But this time the food was again very tasty. The portions were even larger a while ago. But you'll still feel full. The waitresses were all very attentive and friendly. We'll be back.

Recommended without reservation, our absolute favorite restaurant, top top top. That hasn't changed, after the renovation it looks even more authentic, our guests were also thrilled.

The atmosphere is very chic. The music is pleasantly loud, so you can still have a good conversation. The food is super delicious. Unfortunately, table reservations are only possible by telephone. It would be nice if it could also be done digitally

First the best... very tasty and quick cuisine... Negatively, the unfriendly waiters, not very attentive, reordering drinks was a struggle and you almost have a guilty conscience. When paying, we were told that card payment wasn't possible and when one of our group insisted on it, it suddenly worked. The wine spritzer for €4.10 0.2l is a bit overpriced but a good wine.

The reception could have been friendlier, we felt a bit undesirable, the food came very quickly and was good, my friend had calamaris and got an ouzo on the house. At the beginning I would have also wished for a nice restaurant at the end, everything was a successful evening

Unfortunately, the starter (breaded sheep's cheese) TK was suspicious. Was served extremely quickly and the breading was too perfect. Garnished? None. The flatbread tasted burnt. The salad was bland. The rice served with the main meal was about the size of a small scoop of ice cream. The ambience has improved compared to the past. But all in all, unfortunately not a recommendation from me, unfortunately. Not to mention the bad air in the restaurant...

The food was surprisingly delicious, even though I'm not actually a big fan of Greek cuisine. It tasted really good! We sat outside, unfortunately a bit in the passage, but otherwise it was a great restaurant.

Not recommendable! Most of the food is frozen and tastes like nothing. Very annoying considering that we have now spent 50 euros on Tk food!!!!!! Impudence!!!

Very good varied menu. Delicious food. Service was very attentive and despite there being a lot of guests, the eyes were always wandering over the tables to pick up something or take a new order. I felt very comfortable there and ate very well. Gladly again.

Disappointing!!! Soft baguette was served as a starter (tzatziki and garlic pepperoni). When it comes to Greeks, you don't expect flimsy discount baguettes, but rather pita bread. The starter was very plain and simply overpriced. For 2 tablespoons of tzatziki 3.50 and 7 pepperoni 5.50... Yes, everything has become more expensive but the level of outrageousness came with the main course. The lamb plate only came with 1 tablespoon full of side rice. The meat was warm but lamb has to be hot... However, the side salad was inedible - the coleslaw was very reminiscent of German sauerkraut, pickled for far too long and therefore already fermented and the tomatoes in the salad were soggy, everything was probably prepared in the morning and not stored cool. This has nothing to do with culinary delights at all... The waiters were very courteous and polite, although the head waiter was rudeness personified. Regarding the ambience: when we made our reservation by phone, we were not told that there would only be seats outside. In the restaurant (restaurant is simply better quality for me) we were told that you could only sit outside. No problem in summer temperatures - however, the outdoor area is on the sidewalk and pedestrians were constantly walking past the tables, which was incredibly disruptive while eating and completely ruined the ambience. Conclusion: I have no idea how some people can give this more than 3 stars, but there are actually much, much better Greek restaurants in the area. We won't go there again and definitely won't recommend this restaurant.

Our favorite Greek for many years. Despite the general price increases in the catering industry, the prices for food and drink (beer/shandy €3.70) are still moderate and the quality is just right. The service is also very good and an ouzo on the house is common. We recently went to a Greek restaurant in Ehingen and ate a lot worse for expensive money. We remain loyal to Mykonos.
