My mother and I had dinner here once three months ago because this is the only fine dinning restaurant in Duce that is open on Mondays. Overall it's not bad and worth a try. The non-alcoholic drinks that accompany the meal are average. A lady from Luxembourg who was in charge of greeting guests that night left a deep impression on me. She was not only friendly, but also very attentive and aware of every detail.

Jörg Wissmann and his team are perfect hosts. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant and the menu was an amazing journey from Europe to Asia. Perfectly coordinated delight. I could write a lot more now, but I recommend testing it yourself. This experience is worth every penny.

I and my companion really liked the service and ambience. We had ordered the menu and various extra dishes. A very clear recommendation: the Crostinis with beef tartare. Just perfection from start to finish. The courses on the menu were very good, but they didn't blow my socks off, which is okay. If it had stayed that way, I would have given it 5 stars considering the overall package. However, we sometimes received gnocchi that were really unpleasantly watery and tasteless. Since it is a very high-priced restaurant, I think it is appropriate to deduct one star. Overall I would probably give it somewhere between 4 and 4.5 stars. After trying all the fine-dining restaurants in Düsseldorf, I would definitely come back after considering all factors.

Great food. Prices are already decent. But it's worth it.

The craftsmanship of the food was excellent. We were able to reserve a table spontaneously. Restaurant not quite full, service very accommodating. The ravioli with homemade black pudding, Calvados sauce and caramelized apples are particularly recommended.

I would like to say thank you for many years of great food and very good service. However, I question what is wrong with the system that is forcing this restaurant to close.

For me, the Kriegels remain at the top of the best star teams in Düsseldorf. After following you from Fritz Frau Franzi to the Pink Pepper to the Lido, I am still completely impressed by the menus and service. Original but always sufficiently down-to-earth.
