I had dinner with my friend at Mika's. The ambience is really very tasteful and we were greeted with incredible warmth and invited to the table. We ordered the menu as well as a bottle of Chablis. Every course was a taste explosion. I've never eaten anything like that before. The wine is also really very tasty. There were always nice conversations with the service and you felt completely valued as a guest. Totally deserves the Michelin star.

A great restaurant with first-class service (only a touch of criticism would be appropriate) The view was outstanding. Request for space when booking was 100% fulfilled. The food lived up to the star, and the wine accompaniment also harmonized as expected. Almost all courses were outstanding, if not, then still very good. I didn't really like the gap between some courses, especially when the wine had already been introduced and was slowly increasing in temperature... so the wait for the food was too long here and there. BUT I was still very satisfied with everything and can only recommend the restaurant to everyone.

I haven't eaten and drunk this well in a long time. Everything, everything was perfect!!!

We had the pleasure of being able to enjoy a wonderful, relaxing evening at Butt with friends. Everything was more than excellent. The team was very accommodating, professionally competent and extremely relaxed (human). We felt very comfortable. It's just a shame that this particular restaurant doesn't receive more advertising. A really really great place!😃 Great service, very very personable. Extra wishes are implemented extremely well. My accompaniment was very complicated, it was really given to make her happy. Directly through the dunes to the beach. Great view of the Baltic Sea from the balcony. The entire service team was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast left nothing to be desired, although the labeling wasn't very good. The omelet was the best I've ever had. The dinner was also excellent. We'd love to come back.

I'm surprised that this excellent restaurant hasn't already received at least one Michelin Best in Price recommendation. High-quality ingredients, sophisticated, special menus and a large selection of wines. Vegan menu – everything is just perfect.

The hotel is a german icon with a rich heritage & history dating back from the Emperor days. Beautifully & fully rebuilt after its collapse under Easter Germany, it celebrates Prussian culture & craftmanship. That said, now 20 years after it's grand reopening, an insolvency, Corona, etc. it's clear that the unit economics are still not working at Heiligendamm. Cost cutting has been relentless, up to the point that much of the initial splendour is gone. Food at the Nelson Bar & the Spa is very pricey and without any frills. Too few and untrained staff. Beds don't get mounted for day-service any more. Those beautiful & expensive covers remain unused int the closets. Entertainment in the rooms is outdated (still early 2000's). Hardly any electric plugs, forget USB altogether. Much of the infrastructure doesn't get the maintenance it requires. So prepare for some things not to work properly. The staff is doing what it can but as a guest, having visited over a dozen times since 2007, I can't help but feeling sad to see this beautiful hotel unwind. Used to be rightfully called a leading hotel in the world. Today, sadly no more.
