We enjoy being guests at the Weinstock – even when Cornelia Fischer cooked there and now with Hendrik Friedrich as head chef. So far, every visit has been a culinary highlight. The team is also very well coordinated and responds to the wishes of its guests... and if you ask nicely, Mr. Friedrich will also reveal the recipe for the incredibly delicious pretzel rolls, which were served with other delicacies to get you in the mood :-) Thank you very much again for that! Let's see if I can make them fluffy and soft on the inside and nice and crispy on the outside.

A real experience! We were there for a birthday dinner and had a really great evening! The best service was from Kaleb and the Somelier Maxime. The menu and wine pairing harmonize wonderfully. The ambience is somewhat alternative and modern, more a matter of taste.

By chance... ...we stumbled upon Erich Schwingshackl and his culinary skills. We always treat ourselves to a special meal for our wedding anniversaries, so we decided to try his cuisine. We combined this with a stay at the Naturhotel Rebling, where the restaurant is located. On Friday evening, the time had come, and we treated ourselves to a seven-course gourmet menu with friends. The table was beautifully decorated, and we sat in the center of the small gourmet restaurant. We were the only guests in the area that evening, but this didn't detract from the service or the food at all. Mrs. Schwingshackl looked after us excellently and gave us very helpful advice on all our questions about the dishes and drinks. She was also open to our requests. Her husband then cooked us an outstanding menu, which was a delight from start to finish. All the dishes were a taste experience, and the presentation was also a feast for the eyes. This meal is worthy of its Michelin star, and the price was perfectly reasonable. The feel-good atmosphere that the Schwingshackl family has created in this small, fine restaurant deserves special mention. And then there's the magnificent view that stretches far beyond Deggendorf... The area surrounding both restaurants is completely surrounded by a balcony. A summer dinner here is certainly a very special experience – both in terms of the cuisine and simply because of the magnificent view.

Relaxed fine dinning. You can chose between several menus. Service is great. The restaurant wasn't tied up, so we had a perfect business dinner.

We were there for the first time and enjoyed a very good meal/7 course menu with perfect flavor coordination. The selection of drinks is great and very extensive. The service was excellent and the boss had perfect knowledge of the wines. What softens the overall impression: Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities of a star restaurant are not adequate. Empty wine bottles on the window sills and wine boxes on the way to the toilet don't look very elegant.

Probably the worst Michelin experiences i’ve had. Food was okay at best. I had a Salmon with 0 flavor, hard to explain but it tasted like water but not good water. I had a bird (can’t remember exact type) that was cooked dry, and a couple dishes I just couldn’t finish. Wine, first Michelin ive ever been to without a wine pairing option. Even then ordering individuals they had limited by the glass options, and what they did advertise was just all of their own brand. No sommelier on site and waiter knew nothing about the wines. Pace and service; the pace was terribly slow. The dishes are tapas size so finish quickly and then a LONG gap before next course, it was very unbalanced. Also there were multiple dishes that were just dropped off with no explanation, this is a very common thing in Michelins. I would maybe consider this a nice regular restaurant, but in terms of Michelin standards I think it is quite terrible and would not pay Michelin prices again for this.
