In Steinhilben, in the area of ​​the Sports Complex, there is the beautiful Sports Hall. To the left of it is the entrance to the establishment, which attracts visitors with an advertising menu with a price list and opening hours placed before entering. There is also a photo with a mandatory visit with masks. I am not consumed by the proposed menu, because it was not working at the moment, but only at the end of weekdays. The outside was well cleaned and they had two toilets: women's and men's. I admit that the owner takes good care, both outside and inside, of good hygiene and quality food and drinks. Many athletes and tourists pass through the area, who are attracted, not only by sports, but also by the establishment, to support themselves and rest.

Was there for the fourth time on Sunday for the open mic event and every time there are great talents among the approximately 24 artists per evening. Only a maximum of two songs each without any big speeches, then you'll be through with everyone by midnight at the latest. Only the featured person or band is allowed to bring more. Every now and then the hat goes around... It's always full there and if you want to sit, you have to come on time or take a standing position where you don't block the view of the stage from others. But that happens often enough to those who sit at the counter. Still, it's always nice and depending on what the musicians bring, it's always a nice end to the weekend.

Gestern wieder mal nach längerer Pause ins Jovel gegangen - es war richtig voll, alles reserviert, aber als Einzelperson konnte ich mich an einen Bartisch setzen. Der Service kam sehr schnell, Essen und Getränke in wirklich guter Zeit und meine Pizza (a la chef) sehr lecker mit knusprigem Teig und leckerem Belag. Aber was mich wirklich faszinierte: tolle, kommunikative Atmosphäre, das Publikum sehr gemischt von jung bis „alt“ und irgendwie erinnerte mich das an Kneipenbesuche vor langer Zeit ( letztes Jahrtausend 😎) - schön, dass es so etwas noch gibt.

What happened to good old Berlin? Unfortunately it's a sports bar... Football is playing in stereo on the left and right on the screen or large TV, no chance of conversation. The good music that was always playing was put on display when the games started. When asked, they said that if football is being played, it will be played here too... The fries were too salty... OK, that can happen. The service was friendly as always. It's a shame this development here. I don't come here often anymore, but it was always a guarantee of good music, nice ambience/flair and good food. It has lost some of that. Now it will probably be even rarer...
