Cozy pub to drink beer. Dear innkeepers Elli and Udo. Also great for celebrating on all occasions. Great renovated bowling alley.
Unfortunately the restaurant is closed due to death and illness.
The decor is a bit old-fashioned and has something of a village pub about it, but it is a really strikingly clean place with fair prices and a friendly landlord.
In Steinhilben, in the area of the Sports Complex, there is the beautiful Sports Hall. To the left of it is the entrance to the establishment, which attracts visitors with an advertising menu with a price list and opening hours posted before entering. There is also a picture of a mandatory visit with masks. I did not consume the proposed menu, because it was not open at the moment, but only at the end of the weekdays. The outside was well cleaned and they had two toilets: ladies and gents. I assume that the owner is well care, both outside and inside, for good hygiene and quality food and drinks. Many athletes and tourists pass through the area, who are attracted not only by sports, but also by the establishment, to support themselves and rest.
It is a traditional student bar. I've loved it ever since. The operator(s) have not moved with the times. It remains inaccessible to the disabled, especially wheelchair users. There is no rework here. That's too bad. A ramp could help.
Really a lot of fish sandwiches for the money.
The Bismarck was really great, but unfortunately the indefinable sauce on the fried fish didn't taste good at all. A classic tartar sauce would have been great.
middle-class food
Price-performance 👍
Schnitzel in all variations 😋
Salad tastes very tasty 😋😋😋🥗
In summer you can sit outside and enjoy the food
Reservation is recommended (we came spontaneously a few times in the evening 😕 we couldn't get a table 2 or 3 times)
