A gem of Neukölln's food scene. Authentic, real, no frills, not trying to be hipster. Simply great food, good drinks, PU on tap. They got the essentials down. Always happy to go

I’ve been going here for about three years and I love the food, as it is very typical and my German friends have said it is quite authentic. The soups are amazing (especially the pumpkin soup). But yesterday the food was not that good: my goulash was very salty and the meat not so good. My friend also ordered a Maultaschen that did not have good taste. But the service was amazing!

Well I have visited this bar couple of times, although my last visit was not pleasant at all. On a Sunday evening in the open mic the moderator was rude with us, it was the time for collecting money, unfortunately I didn't have any cash, he asked to leave the room because no money was on the basket from us. I will always support artists for sure! But I also think there are better way to ask for money, why not to set a pay entrance instead of ask guests to leave the room? Very, very disappointed.

I was there for an open mic. Great atmosphere, lots of interesting people. I'll definitely come back next time I'm in Berlin.

Wonderful place to grab food and drinks, the Schnitzel was great 👍 However, the upstairs residents drop water on you and could ruin your dining experience FYI.

Food is delicious and the vibe of this place is just so cozy and welcoming. The Sunday open mic was really one of my best nights in Berlin, incredibly talented people!!

A lack of investment creates an inappropriate atmosphere. The staff are polite and attentive, but clearly not experts. The food, however, was by far the most disappointing: the preparation time after ordering was unrealistically short. The food was warm on the outside and relatively cold on the inside. This might give some people the impression that they were using pre-frozen food. The taste was equally unappealing. We won't be back.

I was there for the first time a week ago and immediately fell in love with the cuisine (the cheese spaetzle is excellent), the service (you can also speak briefly, very friendly and accommodating!) and had a great open mic evening where I was able to get to know some artists because I was there as a photographer. All the artists were happy about the good photos, no other guests were disturbed - everything was great. Yesterday - after eating delicious Brussels sprout spaetzle again - I introduced myself to the new "host" of the evening, who then thought that a photographer right in front of the stage would be disruptive. And he had to “protect” the musicians and forbade me to take photos. (Or, I could take photos from further back at the bar - makes perfect sense when the place is packed and you don't just want to take photos of the guests' heads from behind) So I was looking forward to this for a week - NOT. I still listened to the first set. Good musicians, as always. At least HE was busy filming with his cell phone - but then I got too frustrated and left sad. I really wonder what a store benefits from not having good photos of their events online?! Sure, insider tip, no matter what, bells and whistles. Or “we want to be underground” – I found and still find it stupid. And I had to get rid of that.

We sat there all evening yesterday with friends and had a variety of drinks and snacks. There was a loud banging of schnitzels in the kitchen, which were later eaten with great relish at the neighboring table. An extremely cozy place that shines above all with very attentive and personal service.

A seriously perfect restaurant in Neukölln 🌲💋 I wasn't expecting much because of the location, but the atmosphere was better than I expected and the servers were friendly, so I was completely surprised! 🤍 For the food, I ordered cheese spaetzle and goulash and shared it with a friend. The portions were huge and the salad, mashed potatoes, goulash, and spaetzle all tasted perfect. In particular, the goulash is a unique style that doesn't have as much sauce as expected, but when you eat the potatoes and sauce together, it tastes like Chef Gwangrok Choi's mesh dish, so it suited my taste. For drinks, I had a merlot glass and a large Coke Zero. I had a fantastic experience at Kindl Stuben in Berlin! I tried the Wiener Schnitzel and Königsberger meatballs, and both were incredible. The veal in the schnitzel was perfectly tender, and the meatball sauce was exceptional. I visited during their open mic night (every Sunday), and the atmosphere was lively and packed. The open mic presenter was engaging, and all the performers were local artists, giving the night a genuine, speakeasy vibe. As a solo traveler, I appreciated the chance to connect with so many friendly people. The owners, Ahmet and Omer, were incredibly welcoming and hardworking, making sure drinks were served quickly. The place was clean, including the restrooms, which is always a plus. I also learned they host an annual event with local artists and musicians happening every May; last year’s "Kindl Fiction" event is on YouTube and definitely worth watching. Overall, Kindl Stuben is a must-visit for delicious food, warm hospitality, and a great community vibe!

The first impression when you walk in is of a pub that hasn't been renovated in decades. The first thought: let's see... It took a very long time for the order to be taken. That wasn't so nice. There were 8 of us and we all ordered food. As soon as the food came to the table, the very tired atmosphere was forgotten. Schnitzel, goulash, dumplings... everything looked and tasted really delicious. Yes, it wasn't cheap either, but the food is definitely worth the money. Absolutely recommended for a nice evening, whether just for drinking or eating! Don't let the area put you off, it doesn't matter once you're inside!

I absolutely love this store and will come back with a larger group of friends. The food is phenomenal - I had cheese spaetzle. And I can say with conviction that these were the best spaetzle I have eaten in Berlin so far. The restaurant is also very cozy and rustic and the service is very friendly and welcoming.

Was there for the fourth time on Sunday for the open mic event and every time there are great talents among the approximately 24 artists per evening. Only a maximum of two songs each without any big speeches, then you'll be through with everyone by midnight at the latest. Only the featured person or band is allowed to bring more. Every now and then the hat goes around... It's always full there and if you want to sit, you have to come on time or take a standing position where you don't block the view of the stage from others. But that happens often enough to those who sit at the counter. Still, it's always nice and depending on what the musicians bring, it's always a nice end to the weekend.

Das könnte ein echtes Berliner Juwel sein. Allerdings müsste es von Berlinern geführt werden oder zumindest von Menschen, die die Berliner Barkultur zeitgemäß interpretieren können. Stattdessen arbeiten dort Personen aus dem Nahen Osten, die weder richtig Deutsch noch Englisch sprechen. Die Musik ist fade, ebenso wie die Speisekarte. Immerhin gibt es keine Hipster, obwohl ich die eigentlich mag. Schade eigentlich. Viel viel Luft nach oben.

Very very good food. As an Argentinian, I can say that the Argentinian rump steak was the best thing I ate in Berlin. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. We'd love to come back.

Absolute insider tip for delicious food and good cocktails! The restaurant is inconspicuous from the outside and is located on Sonnenallee next to many Arabic shops. To be honest, we didn't expect much, but we were very, very positively surprised. We actually ended up here by chance. Even though we arrived around 10:30 p.m., there was still everything on the menu to eat. We had cheese spaetzle or spinach spaetzle, which were super tasty and really cheap for Berlin at around 13 euros. In addition to draft beer, there are also all the classic cocktails that are prepared with love. The schnitzel also looked very good. The service is very nice. The guest room is rustically furnished, the walls, as is so often the case in Neukölln, unplastered. This creates a really rustic atmosphere far away from the tourist hotspots in the city. We will definitely come back when we are in Berlin again.

Stopped by for dinner on our last night in Berlin. Adorable local spot with fair prices and delicious food. We enjoyed a seasonal knödel, some appetizers and the spinach spaetzle. Highly recommend!

This place is just perfect! And yes, it's not that easy to run a place like this where everything is in its place! ❤️ The food is incredibly delicious, prepared with a lot of knowledge and taste. Every dish is thought out down to the last detail, and even what sounds simple from the name, such as strudel, is the best example of this dish ever. The staff is super nice, friendly but quiet. The rooms are very beautiful - wood, red, vintage - so cozy and romantic that you feel like you're at the beginning of the 20th century (the only thing missing is Hemingway at the next table). Large windows through which you can wonderfully watch autumn while warming your hands with the brightly lit candles... And one more thing: ice was added to my glass of tap water, and neither the water nor the glass had the slightest smell - that is really rare! Who knows, knows. Absolute Berlin tip!

Summer in the city at 33 degrees in Sonnenallee. We came here by chance when we were hungry and thirsty and found a nice spot at one of the tables outside on the footpath. Chilling live music was playing inside. Nice ambience in retro style and friendly service. It's kind of an anachronism to find spaetzle and Flensburger on tap in the middle of Berlin on what appears to be a bland menu. Nevertheless, we had an excellent meal here. The cheese spaetzle is highly recommended. The other dishes also looked good and obviously tasted good. The beer was well tapped and refreshingly cool. We would love to come here again. This restaurant is fully recommended!

Went there without Reservation and we (6 people) got directly a good place. The salad was really dissapointing, but schnitzel, Maultaschen and Spätzler we're good. Service was friendly and attentive.

Easter Monday, I reserved a table. Front room quite full, table was reserved for 7 p.m., very nice large table in the window. Service friendly, competent, fast and very pleasant. Food extremely tasty, large portion, fresh salad. Were very satisfied and would like to come back. It's nice to have discovered something new in the neighborhood again.

I brought my dad here who was visiting from the UK and wanted to try some typical german food! We were the only ones in the place but felt really comfortable and welcome, and the food was fresh and delicious. I would highly recommend! I’ll definitely be back soon :)

This was my first time eating German food, and I was very satisfied. I ordered schnitzel and ravioli and shared them with a friend, and it's no exaggeration to say that they are the German version of a fried chicken set meal and gyoza. I highly recommend you give it a try, as it completely overturns your concept of German cuisine. Traditional German jam is also served on the side, and when you want to change up the flavor, you can add it to give it a refreshing flavor in your mouth, so be sure to try this as well. The bearded guy was kind and made me feel safe+★

Ich behaupte sogar, dass selbst ein alteingesessener Schwabe mir zustimmen würde, dass es hier die besten Spätzle gibt. Das Geheimnis liegt wohl in der perfekten Mischung aus knusprig und cremig. Jeder Bissen war ein wahrer Genuss, der meine Geschmacksnerven jubeln ließ. Die Spätzle waren absolut hervorragend und erfüllten all meine Erwartungen. Aber nicht nur die Speisen waren herausragend. May be the best place in the area! Food is great, the variety is sufficient, you should try käsespätzle whic is awsome. Prices are fair, atmosphere is cosy. There is live music event on every sundays which makes your day. Endless thanks to those who brought such a place to this area.

Visited Kindle Stuben Restaurant for breakfast with friends and it was an exceptional experience. The Eggs Benedict and Egg Avocado were delicious and beautifully presented. We were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary starter of hummus, olives, and yogurt eggplant. The staff provided outstanding service, making us feel welcomed and attending to our needs with genuine care. The cozy atmosphere added to the overall charm of the place. Highly recommend Kindle Stuben for a remarkable breakfast in Berlin!

Ich konnte gestern super, lecker in einer gelassenen, typisch quirligen Atmosphäre in Neuköln frühstücken, und zwar in den Kindl Stuben. Nur zu empfehlen!! Am Wochenende kann man hier sehr gut frühstücken, ansonsten gibt es es auch Mittagstisch und Abendessen und am Abend den Kneipenbetrieb. Schaut doch mal vorbei😉ich komme immer wieder gerne.

Good beers, okay food. Unfortunately, smoke kept wafting from the smoking room back into the main dining room, spoiling an otherwise fine thing. Sad that accommodating those tragic nicotine addicts is still considered okay in this establishment.
