What an awesome pub, super!!!!!!!

I was at Carlshöhe for basic training in the first quarter of 1968. When we managed to go ashore, which wasn't always the case, our destination was often the "Eichhörnchen" (Squirrel). It was a great place back then! It doesn't seem to have changed much visually. It was a long time ago.

It was my first time there because I thought the name "Eichhörnchen" (Squirrel) was funny. I'm such a fool, because the squirrel is also the symbol of Eckernförde. It was a lovely evening and I'll be back next year. Otherwise, I'll be at the Platessa in Esbjerg.

Totally great bar, so beautifully “quaint”, great atmosphere 👍🏼 and everything is so beautifully “idyllic”, “familiar”, nice bar staff.....will definitely be back ❤️

A trip into my aunt's past. The bar itself is a “smoking bar” with entry for those aged 18 and over. Everything is getting old and seems very simple. The lady behind the counter is absolutely positive, she tried extremely hard to fulfill my aunt's music wishes. I can't promise I'll go to the restaurant again, but it was definitely a little adventure and a positive memory.

Just a real pub! We had a nice evening.

I like to remember the last pub in 1968 when we went back up to the Zapfensteich to the Carlshöhe barracks.

Faire Preise und eine Stimmung, die man nur noch selten findet. Absolute Empfehlung!

Einfach kult, leider stirbt so etwas langsam aus.

Alte Fischer Kneipe für ein ordentlichen Brand immer gut 🤣👍für viele aber auch ein Schock ne ersten Besuch es ist halt alt aber ich ich das macht eine Kneipe aus
