Based on a recommendation, we ended up at the Roller Coaster Restaurant, right across from the main train station. We received a very friendly welcome. Our waiter, Tamro, explained the process to us in a straightforward manner. He took extremely good care of us throughout our entire stay. The food was delicious. We were absolutely thrilled with the overall experience and would recommend everyone to eat here and enjoy the ambiance.

Very cozy restaurant, with friendly, courteous service. If possible, don't visit on the weekend, as it's simply too crowded (which speaks for the place)

We were in Chemnitz for an event and had previously eaten here at the Braumeister. Unfortunately, it's an outdated restaurant, which isn't a bad thing in itself, but now comes the BUT. It was extremely cold, we were the only guests along with two other people. I can understand that the costs are very high - for not even a handful of guests - to heat, but it's no fun to sit and eat in the cold. The restaurant is very rustic and has stood in its time, unfortunately also in its cleanliness. In the dining room it smelled musty and somehow like "old people". The toilet and the toilet area have not been cleaned for a long time. The food was very good, there were homemade schnitzels and vegetables and more than filling for the price. It's just a shame that the restaurant is struggling so much due to a lack of staff that things are looking rather bad for it to continue. The owner/waiter was very nice. We wish her and the restaurant all the best.
