We went to the breakfast buffet - very satisfied 👍🏼 something for everyone, friendly service, value for money 👍🏼 we made another reservation for the next day 😄

Online table reservation worked great. Friendly staff, no long waiting times. Food was plentiful and very tasty. The prices on the website no longer correspond to the current prices. Approximately 3-4 € more per dish.

Nothing has changed for the better. Oh, I've already been to the old pharmacy in Altkötschenbroda. That's why I can compare my experiences from the past with today, which I'm happy to share with you 👍👍👍. The waitress from back then is still there with her pupils, which made me very happy 😊. Weekend breakfast in the Old Pharmacy. What a great location. Friendly staff and a buffet that leaves nothing to be desired (cold meats, jam, eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, muesli, cornflakes... jelly and pudding) And the price is simply unbeatable ;)

The good reviews and the beautiful, rustic ambience gave us hope for a nice end to our “Saxony tour”. But things turned out differently. We both had grilled knuckles with fried potatoes and some sauerkraut that was hidden under the knuckles. The crust was hard not big, impossible to cut or chew; The meat wasn't seasoned - 2 small bowls of mustard and horseradish should probably compensate for that. The fried potatoes tasted like they were 3 days old. Guys - there's a better way! Unfortunately there was also a dispute with the waiter.

Great ambience in the outdoor area and surprise inside the pharmacy! Ate here on a Friday evening. There were enough seats available, reservations were not necessary. Service very friendly and quick. The map is manageable but sufficient. The quality of the food is also good and sufficient for a cozy evening. The prices are a bit high, but fair for ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars. If the drinks and food were cheaper, it would easily be 5 stars.

We were here for dinner on September 7th, 2024 with a group of 21 people from 4 different federal states. Luckily, as hosts, my husband and I were there a little earlier than our guests. We would have been ashamed of our Saxon compatriots if they had seen how we were received. Unfriendly, grumpy and listless. Since the assigned table did not correspond to what had been agreed weeks before, we asked. The waiter we spoke to told us that he was just a “little stupid GDR waiter” and had nothing to say!!! So literal! How can you present yourself like that and make yourself so small?! Unfortunately, the designated event manager has not responded to our emails to date. Very unprofessional and incomprehensible. Even the food, which we didn't actually want to focus on here, couldn't score points with its originality and quality. When the waitress asked us about it, we stayed neutral so as not to spoil the very good mood in the group to ruin. We still had a very nice family reunion, which we wanted to round off with dinner together. Unfortunately, we didn't quite succeed. What a shame!!

Wir waren heute in vierköpfiger Familie zum spontanen Mittagstisch Vorort. Nachdem die Servicemitarbeiter ihre anderen Aufgaben erledigt und sich unserer annahmen, wurden wir zügig, freundlich und unkompliziert bedient. Erwähnenswert ist die abwechslungsreiche Kinderkarte. Ebenso Weißbier vom Fass. Die bestellten Gerichte waren alle sehr gut, reichlich und ansprechend angerichtet. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Die zwar schöne (wie alles hier in Alt Kö) aber leider ziemlich staubige Außenanlage kostet leider den 5. Stern. Wir kommen gern wieder!

A nice place to end the day in a rustic restaurant with delicacies and great, friendly service.

Trauriger Restaurantbesuch. Das Essen war lieblos und dafür sehr preisintensiv. Vom beschriebenen Yoghurtdressing im Salat gab es keine Spur. Das grob geschnitte Gemüse war stattdessen gar nicht gewürzt, sondern wurde vom salzigen Schafskäse geradezu erschlagen. Selten so einen schlechten Salat gegessen! Schnitzel mit Pfifferlingen konnte man essen, von lecker aber weit entfernt. Wir werden nicht mehr wiederkommen.

There are nice seating options inside and outside. The breakfast buffet is highly recommended. We will definitely book the holiday apartments again.

We had her our team outing. The apartment was great. They also provided us with rental bikes. The breakfast was very varied and filling. There was something for everyone. And in the evening you can have a great meal and a drink here. The cocktails have a high alcohol content, but you can counteract that with the delicious food. We'd love to come back!

Were disappointed with the food. Salad with chicken strips drowned in cheese and yoghurt totally unloving! Boring taste!

We traveled from Lake Constance and ate there. Prices were not the same as those on the internet and we didn't like the fried potatoes, they were too fatty and too black, it was a shame and there wasn't enough of a selection

Since the Italian restaurant was closed and the "Alte Apotheke" offered a nice place in the evening light, we sat down at one of the free tables. Initially ignored, we were then served very politely. The few dishes on the menu and the not exactly low prices promised to at least offer quality. But unfortunately the expectations were more than disappointed. The side salad was sandy. The yoghurt dressing that was already served on top was just as tasteless as the plate. The main courses were neither visually nor tasty. The red cabbage seemed to have been reheated so often that not even Widow Bolte would have liked it. The gravy was a solid paste. The chicken breast under the gratinated mozzarella was dry and the tomato sauce of the tagliatelle left a red trace on the pasta that any ready-made sauce can keep up with (it is then called "tomatoized"). *** Addition to your answer: it's nice that your waitress remembers us, but unfortunately it wasn't a waitress, but a waiter - and I also told him when I was clearing away the half-empty plates that it's better to sit with you than eats. There was no espresso and I wouldn't have drunk it at that time. I did indeed give a tip because - as I wrote and you could read - we were ultimately served "politely"... The reason for my letter should be obvious: I was dissatisfied and I would like others to check whether it was It's worth going to the old pharmacy to inform you about my impression that it is "derogatory" is due to the service that was offered to me.

We were there spontaneously after 8 p.m. on a warm summer evening. It was nice to sit outside. It was well attended, but we still got a table straight away. While other restaurants close at 8 p.m., you can stay here until 11 p.m. during the week.

Nice terrace with prompt service. Excellent Mineral water and beer. I ordered fresh asparagus with boiled potatoes and hollandaise. The waitress did say the sauce was readymade, the potatoes were at least a day old and microwave re-heated. The huge white asparagus had no aroma or taste. I had hoped for a portion of freshly boiled potatoes...20 € My husband had meat red cabbage and potato dumplings (sauerbraten Rotkohl Klöße) 18€ ... With a similar experience as mine. Sad is the only thing that comes to mind...

Today we had lunch at the Alte Apotheke and decided on schnitzel with asparagus. The service was friendly and quick. The schnitzel and asparagus were super tasty. I have never tasted this dish better in any restaurant than here. We recommend! We'd love to come back.

We had booked a holiday apartment in the old pharmacy for a weekend. The apartment, the service, the food, the tips for excursions, everything was perfect. We will be back definitely.

Great restaurant and child-friendly, you can eat here with the whole family. The food was great and there was also a special menu for the little ones to choose from. In addition to eating food, you can also discover a lot here because we assume it is an old pharmacy and the charm and style is still completely there.

The restaurant is quite comfortable to sit in, but the outdoor seating is the real gem when the weather is nice. There is Paulaner on tap, which is an argument to linger.

Halli Hallo zusammen, die Woche waren wir dort essen zu 5. Das Restaurant macht von außen und innen einen sehr hübschen Eindruck. Wir saßen aber leider im Keller, den fanden wir nicht so schön. Man fühlt sich dort etwas abseits geparkt. Essen war der Hammer uns preislich heutzutage leider normal. Speisekarte mit Preisen lade ich mal mit hoch. Bedienung war super, dadurch das wir so blöd etwas saßen muss ich aber 2 Sterne beim Ambiente abziehen und einen Stern in der gesamten Bewertung. Ansonsten an sich aber zu empfehlen 👍🏻

Essen war klasse, dass Ambiente gemütlich bzw. entspannend und der Service sehr zuvorkommend. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.

Wir haben die Lokalität vor Jahren nur durch Zufall entdeckt und kommen seitdem regelmäßig zum frühstücken her. Es ist einfach schön hier, man wird gut umsorgt und fühlt sich,selbst im größten Trubel, willkommen.

Essen war top ABER kleine Auswahl! Service ist super nett. Und die Umgebung ist sehr schön!
