Opening hours change daily; we've tried to go in at least three times already. They keep changing the times. I'm fed up.

A fantastic experience! A very nice restaurant with a friendly atmosphere. We really enjoyed the food (goulash and roulade)! However, the route there is a bit of an adventure. If you're on foot, you have to walk for about 20 minutes from Bad Schandau through a forest (with a slight incline). It's not a problem in itself, but on the way back in the dark, the streetlights were out. The restaurant staff were very friendly, and a big compliment to the cook, who managed everything in the kitchen on her own!

I always enjoy eating here. The dishes are home-cooked. Attentive guests can see and taste this. The couple who run the place are warm-hearted people; you can feel it. The value for money is excellent. There's something for everyone on the menu. Suggested variations, for example, with drinks, are also possible. I was hoping for a Campari Spritz, but the menu only lists Aperol Spritz. Wooden houses, especially when they're as well-maintained as this one, invite guests to sit down in a pleasant atmosphere. All I can say is: Full marks! Keep it up :)

The food was homemade and delicious. The schnitzel and Camembert were breaded in-house. Such high-quality food is rarely served in restaurants these days. We spent a week in Ostrava and stayed at Turmeck for four days. The owners were very friendly, and we highly recommend it.

We didn't have a reservation, but we arrived at opening time, so it wasn't a problem. However, we noticed how the host made a concerted effort to accommodate all the new guests. The friendliness is wonderful, and the food was also delicious. We had pork: I had it with pepper sauce, and my wife had Gyros Art. Both were delicious, and we also shared a Heisse Liebe (a cup of ice cream, just to be clear). We enjoyed our visit and the warm welcome. Highly recommended...

Since our vacation apartment was nearby, we visited this restaurant relatively spontaneously and without a reservation on a Wednesday. It was already quite busy, but we, as a family of four, were still offered a free table. The atmosphere is calm and pleasant. The drinks arrived promptly, and the strawberry punch is highly recommended. The senior manager warned us that there would be a somewhat longer wait due to a lack of staff and his manner created a relaxed atmosphere. Our food (including roulade, goulash, and pollock) was very tasty and delicious. There was nothing left over. At the end, the children received rubber animals, which was a nice touch. Yes, it's not cheap. We spent just under €100 there, and we still didn't regret it. The prices are visible in advance via the posted pictures on Google, so everyone can make their own decision.

We spent a few days in beautiful Saxon Switzerland last week, and it's always worth the trip. We always headed to Turmeck, where the food was delicious and good value for money. The beer garden is super cozy, and we highly recommend the roulades. The owners are very attentive to their guests' well-being and always up for a joke. We'll be back! See you soon 🌞

We were welcomed right at home despite a power outage that delayed the restaurant's opening. We can only recommend this very child-friendly inn!

Very delicious food. We felt very comfortable here. The journey there is a bit of an adventure at the moment, but it's definitely worth it. The only slight drawback is that the prices are slightly higher. So far, this has been the highest bill of any restaurant. However, the food is very filling. Definitely worth it. Here, too, you feel very welcome as a guest and aren't just rushed off.

Absolutely delicious! On the way there, we had our doubts whether the restaurant would be open (the road isn't very pleasant), but I'm so glad we didn't turn back. I even asked if they had any accommodations, as I'd really like to stay overnight and have another meal there. 12/10!

After a short weekday tour, we stopped by this quiet restaurant for dinner without a reservation. The food was well-prepared, very tasty, and completely reasonable in price. However, why they charge over €20 for three 0.5-liter non-alcoholic drinks doesn't quite fit the bill. More transparency would be appreciated (e.g., not just listing the 0.2-liter prices on the menu).

The warm and friendly staff make you feel very comfortable. However, the food is a bit expensive for a student budget. Perhaps some people find the prices normal, but I can only speak for myself.

It's best to take the elevator from Bad Schandau to the Skywalk and then stop there for a bite to eat! We really enjoyed it!

It's a small, family-run restaurant run by a married couple. Both of our dishes were delicious, and the portions were reasonably large (good value for money). Unfortunately, my beer wasn't chilled well and tasted stale. However, the Riesling was perfectly chilled and delicious. We would come back. Keep up the good work!

Yesterday, on 'Varertag,' we stopped for dinner at Turmeck after our hike. We enjoyed the food immensely, and the drinks were excellent too, especially the last Malteser ;-). The owner was very personable and friendly. Even though she was the only one cooking, serving, and tapping beer, there was still time for pleasant conversation. I was on a health cure and often stopped by the Turmeck, either alone or with a visitor. The innkeepers are very friendly, have been there for a long time, and know what they're doing. A quiet oasis for a cool beer or a delicious meal. The menu has something for everyone. If I ever make a trip to Saxon Switzerland, I'll definitely stop by again. Highly recommended!

On November 8th, after a long hike, we decided to visit this restaurant. The service was friendly, the food was excellent, very tasty. However, we noticed an "other" payment at the end of the bill amounting to about 8% of the total price, which no one had warned us about in advance, which seems unfair to us as we like to decide the eventual tip size ourselves, and to be honest we haven't experienced this even in the more upscale restaurants in the center of Prague where we all live. Next time we would like to warn our guests in advance. It's a shame, for this reason we will choose another restaurant on our next visit.

We wanted to stop at the restaurant and have dinner this evening after a strenuous hike, but we had our Shiba with us. Unfortunately we were turned away through the front door - no dogs. The restaurant can probably afford not to admit guests with dogs. It's a shame we won't be coming back, a note on the website would be helpful.

Because the reviews were so good, we decided on this cute restaurant. It was even better than described. Everything made by myself. You can taste the LOVE. We were also able to experience contact with other guests. You rarely meet such warm hosts.

We recently visited this wonderful restaurant and absolutely loved it! As soon as I entered the restaurant I was warmly welcomed and immediately felt welcome. The atmosphere is simply great – friendly, relaxed and with a touch of humor that makes your stay even more pleasant. The food was a real highlight: from the starter to the dessert, everything was perfectly prepared and presented with great attention to detail. You can immediately tell that people cook with passion here. The quality of the ingredients and the creative preparation completely convinced me. Particularly noteworthy are the owners, who really care about every guest. With their friendly and courteous nature, they make you feel like you are with good friends. It was nice to see how they always found time to chat with the guests and spread a relaxed, humorous atmosphere. This restaurant is definitely a place to return to. You can feel that not only the food but also the hospitality is very important here. We are already looking forward to my next visit!

Super nice owner-managed restaurant in a relaxed residential area. We were served very friendly and attentively and the man of the house (I assume) is up for a nice chat. The food was great, the cook knows what she's doing. Both our main courses and especially the delicious cake were excellent. Dogs are also welcome on the terrace.

Unfortunately we cannot rate the food and ambience. We called specifically and made a reservation for 2 people. Before we arrived our table was simply passed on even though we were there on time. Absolute disgrace after we drove for almost 30 minutes.

Super nice hosts. This is where you come home. The landlady bakes the cake herself. Regardless of which cake it is, it is incredibly delicious. This restoration is an enrichment for every guest.

Everything is just right here, the nicest innkeepers in the world, an atmosphere that spreads harmony and from coffee with homemade cakes to rollade or salad A1:-).
