We went to the premiere of Garden Gnome and Skull. It was very funny, but I'm not really into gun violence. Maybe they should change that part a bit, and I would have liked a happy ending. About the Mückeschlösschen: The food was sensationally delicious. The waitress at our table was very friendly and attentive (I think it was Mrs. Mütze, unfortunately I noticed her name tag too late). Hence the 5 stars. Keep up the good work, we'll be back.

Very nice location. We sat outside and received very quick and friendly service. The inside seating was empty due to the nice weather, but the interior would definitely be worth a visit. We were there on a Thursday and had free seating, but you should probably make a reservation on weekends.

Very old-fashioned. But there are people who like it. So, ultimately, everything's fine. The staff is prompt and friendly. There's really nothing to complain about with the food, and the cake and coffee I ordered were also top-notch.

Highly recommended – we went to a gourmet brunch with a confirmation party. Everyone loved it. The food was excellent, and the service was very attentive and courteous. One of our guests fell ill that morning, and they even offered us two options, as this had been taken into account. Truly outstanding.

We ate here and were really disappointed. When we walked in, it looked really cozy. But the food was oh my gosh! I had zander fillet with salad. The preparation was 🙈 no seasoning, and it looked like it came from a discount store freezer. My friends had the same thing; they had schnitzel, unfortunately not freshly breaded, but ugly pre-made schnitzel. I wonder how the prices are so high. We also found the menu very confusing. We won't be back.

I was given a voucher for this restaurant and tried to reserve a table within the validity period. Unfortunately this was not possible for various reasons. When the voucher had expired and I asked if I could still redeem it, it was refused. My request for a refund or an alternative solution was also rejected on the grounds that this would not be possible after the deadline had expired. Legally it may certainly be correct. From a customer perspective, however, I find it disappointing that a paid amount (€100) simply expires, even if you have tried to reserve a table within the valid period. My conclusion: I would no longer buy or give away a voucher here, because in case of doubt you are stuck with the amount, even if you tried to take advantage of the offer.

I was here on Easter Monday afternoon. The ice cream and the chai latte tasted great and the waiter was also extremely friendly. Next to the patio is the Rosenthal, which creates a nice ambience.

Ah, it was very nice there for the crime dinner, nice atmosphere. 4.6**stars would be correct. Why ? There's something special there, at least for me. If the food is a little cold, you have to check whether everything is okay. I really thought about it for a long time, but the actors' performance was just great. But something really needs to be done.

We have a dinner show with 5 "courses," if you want to call it that. The "potato soup" with wild mushrooms (2 quarters of mushrooms) stood out in particular. It tasted worse than any Magi packet soup and, in terms of salt concentration, was more likely to kill an elephant. On the other hand, the fish lacked any salt, although that wouldn't have changed the fact that the fish had a terrible consistency, and the side dishes (obviously only warmed-up frozen food) were bland and incongruous. But enough with the criticism of the food; the "show" had everything from first-grade dialogue to a performance that only parents could have been proud of, to a stock image PowerPoint presentation that was equivalent to the quality of a student who realizes five minutes before their presentation that they're about to give it. The ambiance also matched the rest of the show. There were far too many people in the room, so everyone sat extremely close together. If one were to praise the decor, one would call it historic. Since there was no separation in the room (you sat right next to other groups), the noise level was deafening. For the price charged, the service was outrageous and disrespectful to the guests. If you're considering going here, please order food and watch a movie at home.

A great classic between Rosental and Waldstraßeviertel. Best seasoned meat in town! The house beer is great. Really highly recommended, especially suitable for larger groups!

I really like it here! Most of all because of the unique friendliness and attentive care of the people working there. There is a regular but varied menu with special offers, a kids menu and the inside and outside are very nicely arranged.

We celebrated my mother's 85th birthday in the Mückenschlösschen with 14 people. The entire package was absolutely amazing!!! Starting with the nice and very good preliminary discussion and advice, to table decorations, food, etc. everything was to our complete satisfaction. We had a great afternoon/evening. The service was super friendly and extremely attentive. We felt very comfortable and would like to thank you again.

Very nice and considerate employees. We went on a Sunday and it was packed. Under the circumstances, I'd say it was absolutely OK. The entire buffet was also very rich and varied 👍 absolutely top. The warm dishes were OK. but nothing that knocks you off your feet.

Unfortunately I have to give a sobering review of the brunch. We were really looking forward to the day, but first let's talk about the positive. The staff was very friendly and not too intrusive. We stayed in the smaller room downstairs and to our surprise it wasn't full. Visually well furnished. Unfortunately that was it. A lot of things just didn't convince us, four different people, in terms of taste. For example: the salmon, fruit, cheese or even the scrambled eggs all had a dismal taste and were therefore not of good quality. The rolls were all hard, ok they are baked rolls, but I have had better experiences. Tiramisu was also described online, which is what I was after, but unfortunately it wasn't served. We hardly got any hot food because we were so hungry. But there was a lot of meat and few alternatives. I hope the review stands. Unfortunately it is not invented. Unfortunately, you paid too much money here. Very unfortunate!

The two of us went to the crime diner. Persona was super nice. Food was super delicious. The only thing I would say was the atmosphere, with apparently various company parties being held in the hall, was a disturbing factor. You should know that you are taking part in such an event with around 100 other people. Oh, what would also be cool would be a hint where you can park cheaply.

I went to the Christmas party, we were received very well, with a glass of champagne or juice. Afterwards we were dressed at the table. There was a 4 course menu. There was already bread and various bread toppings at the table, all of which tasted wonderful. There was starter soup, salads, duck with red cabbage and dumpling. Then dessert. It I really liked it and tasted it too. I just thought it was great. I can only recommend it. The waiters were very hardworking and friendly, we didn't miss anything. I can do the mosquito lock recommend.

We went to Christmas brunch in a beautiful little castle in the middle of the Waldstrasse district. The food was good and plentiful, the selection was also okay. The service was friendly and hardworking. Overall everything went well :)

We had booked the Scottish Christmas. If you expect something Scottish and Christmassy, ​​stay away. The ambience and execution were reminiscent of a coffee trip, but unfortunately without an electric blanket. The quoted price of €110 per person is a disgrace for this “service”.

We had a successful Christmas party with retro comedy.

We went to the Advent buffet and unfortunately it wasn't convincing. As a meat eater I would probably give the food 4 stars, but as a vegan I would unfortunately only give it 1 star. Apparently oat milk was supposed to cost €2 extra and the vegan selection was very disappointing and not signposted. Of the warm food, potato dumplings, red cabbage, Brussels sprouts and frozen mixed vegetables were basically the only vegan food. As a hearty bread topping there was only sausage and cheese and no other spreads. The cake and stollen were supposedly vegan, but somehow the statements were generally a bit confusing, as the scrambled eggs were also supposed to be vegan, which makes me think that the chef doesn't know the difference between vegan and vegetarian. My meat-eating companion described the rest of the meal as mediocre, not bad but nothing special either. Otherwise the building is very beautiful. But the rooms were very full with many guests. Parking in the area costs €1.50 for half an hour and is limited to a maximum of 3 hours.

We were there for brunch. It was full and therefore very loud. The food, medium restaurant quality, the meat like shoe leather, the side dishes (potatoes, etc.) like they were made for a retirement home, so much too soft. The cake was very dry and the pudding tasted like it came from a tetra pack. The best thing was the parking space in front of the door, 8.50 euros for 3 hours.

We went to the Mückenschlösschen for the Celtic night. The reception in the garden with a campfire and mead was lovely. The mead is very, very tasty and was a good start to the evening. There are parking spaces on the street, we were lucky and got one, there aren't really many that are empty because the residents can also park, the parking fees are very high and have to be paid by 11 p.m. The buffet food was good. The suckling pig was outstanding, as was the Breat and Pudding dessert, as well as the Irish casserole. We were very positively surprised. The starter was served in bread which was cool too. The moderator/singer of the band led the evening very well. The program of singing, tap dancing and a fire show was very beautiful and worth seeing. What isn't well solved is how the tables are set up and what you really see at the back. In our opinion, we need a stage that brings the dancers and singers further to the top. You have problems seeing anything, especially with the dancers, and there isn't enough space for everyone to stand up. Then the others can't see anything anymore. Unfortunately, that's a real shame. You have to put the tables differently. The mood was very good. We just had problems understanding what was being sung or said through the microphone. That's a bit of a shame. What really needs to be improved in our opinion is the service and logistics. You ordered something to drink and waited a long time. There were table numbers that were asked for when ordering and yet the drinks were not delivered in a targeted manner. The appetizer was served, it took a long time, just like the first round of drinks. This can be organized much better.

The three of us visited the mosquito castle on the edge of the forest. When we ate there, there was only one other table occupied by guests besides ours. This didn't change significantly during our visit. I found the ambience to be a bit sophisticated but appealing. The service was very friendly and quick at the table. I had fond memories of the Mückenschlösschen and that's why we went to see it. I decided on the venison goulash and was really looking forward to it. However, in this case the price/performance ratio did not match. My girlfriend and I had three pieces of meat on our plate, loads of thickened gravy and garnish on the puree with sprouts... doesn't fit at all for a Christmas/autumn meal. How much does €21.95 cost? The portion was sufficient, which was fine. You can make such great sauces from deer meat 🙄 I'm really disappointed and wouldn't recommend it! Don't just increase the prices but also pay attention to quality and don't satiate the guest with thick gravy. Too bad! The staff was very friendly!

Not suitable for disabled people as there are steps into the restaurant and the men's toilet is on the 1st floor and without a lift. Even though we had reserved a day in advance, the table was not set. The service was fine. The food was just average, we expected more here. Both dishes were not hot. The plates were overloaded and there was no separate plate for the duck (bones) with the duck. The red cabbage was under the duck, if you wanted to eat it you had to move the plate. This style of serving existed in the 80s. We expected more based on the positive other reviews. Unfortunately, not a successful visit to the restaurant.
