We were warmly congratulated on our wedding anniversary by Mr. Mehnert at the entrance and given a particularly beautiful place near the Parthe. All wishes were perfectly fulfilled - Mr. Lamtrkat took care of that excellently: the finest elderberry juice spritzer, tomato tartare, veal liver with mashed potatoes... Thank you very much! A nice beer garden. We had different dishes and all were tasty. The only point of criticism from my side is the price-performance ratio of the EM card. €20.90 for a burger without any side dishes is just way too much, even if it tastes good.

Super friendly staff, delicious food and an absolute feel-good atmosphere, both indoors and outdoors. We'd love to come back! :)

I was here for the first time today at the Mückenschlösschen for brunch with my son (birthday present). I was pleasantly surprised. The food has so much choice and is super delicious. The service very good. It was so busy and the team always had smiles on their faces. You'll be happy to come back there. I immediately booked a date for brunch on our wedding anniversary. The food was great, the service too! When it comes to individual drink orders, the bartender doesn't have the will or ability to do so... What a shame! Nevertheless, the house is a special recommendation!!

One of the best restaurants in Leipzig in my opinion. I have no complaints about the food. The outside area is also really nice.

The food wasn't particularly great either, but the price was small and the portions were small. (Vienna schnitzel with fries) The asparagus was almost on the verge of being “totally over salty”. But the ambience in the Mückenschlösschen was great.

We had been given tickets for the Celtic night and what was presented was a disaster. The event was announced with a buffet, live music, dancing and a fire show. All of this took place, but at a level that was reminiscent of the cheapest bus trips. The room was carelessly furnished and consisted of tables with around 16 people. The guests were supposed to get to know each other better through a game in which wisdom from life was collected (idea from a retirement home?). The dance group consisted of a local dance school. The young girls did well, but overall it seemed like a school event to which the parents had been invited (songs are sometimes broken off manually). The fire show was embarrassing to watch and was reminiscent of an esoteric fair. The live band played well, but without any variations. At some point it just became annoying. The buffet was OK (but nothing more), but the time was very limited. Why not reduce the offer and offer it over a longer period of time? In summary, this was by far the worst event we have ever attended. You were dragged from “event” to event and hoped that it would soon be over. Other guests felt the same way. Halfway through, the tables became emptier.

Very good food, nice waitresses, quick service and a nice location at reasonable, slightly higher prices. Absolute recommendation.

We celebrated our small wedding in the Mückenschlösschen on Friday and are very satisfied. Particularly noteworthy is the service staff who looked after us that day! Totally thoughtful, kind and not too pushy! The prices are also fair and the food is good! The tower room is really beautiful and the prepared table also looked great! Since I've only heard good things so far, seven of us visited the Mückenschlösschen yesterday. Unfortunately, we cannot confirm the good to very good reviews. We were shown a table with lunch leftovers underneath. Next to us, the table was being prepared for brunch for the following day, so there was no meal in a pleasant atmosphere. The food, especially the fried potatoes and the fries, were average, there was just a lack of seasoning. Well we got to know it and that will be it.

I spent a lovely day in the Mückenschlösschen with my children on Mother's Day. We were completely satisfied with lunch and coffee. The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed the ambience outside in the beautiful sunshine. We would like to come again.

We had dinner with the family at the Mückenschlösschen. The food was really very good. For our little one there was a very large selection on the children's menu including a coloring picture. The employees were super friendly and we didn't have to wait long for the food. We'll be happy to come back the next time we visit Leipzig!

Nice excursion and, above all, event restaurant. Perfect for all kinds of family events. Spacious rooms and staff who can handle even the biggest rush. However, parking options in the area are limited - come by taxi or public transport if possible.

The Celtic Night as an event is highly recommended. Entertainment served with drinks and appropriate food and singing, dancing and fire show. Absolutely awesome.

Always nice here for brunch. Spread over several floors, special features (handicap) will be taken into account if you specify them. Food was very tasty. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Staff and ambience good but the food was very "meaningless" if the starter is better than the main course, it really speaks volumes. Disappointing schnitzel "Rosenthal" without any taste.

Excellent! Was here as part of a small event. I ate Mutzbraten with beans and fried potatoes. It was awesome! The ambience is great - so is the service! The only thing that's annoying is the constant construction work in the area. This makes getting there a bit challenging and finding parking can be difficult. But once you get there, you won't regret being here.

Beautiful beer garden, great location

There's nothing wrong with the ambience, nothing wrong with the service. It would have been nice if the people waiting outside the door had been let in a few minutes earlier for Sunday brunch due to the rain. But we stood there in the cold, wind and rain until exactly 10 a.m. My tip would be to simply not come earlier, the tables are reserved anyway. The buffet on New Year's Eve was excellent, unfortunately the quality for the brunch was not maintained. The cold cuts were mediocre, the dishes were already on the buffet at 10 a.m. and were therefore overcooked early. The scrambled eggs were empty too quickly and it took too long for more to arrive. The taste of the hot dishes is good, but not in proportion to the price. The desserts are okay, but nothing more.

Fabulous ambiance is the perfect surrounding for an absolutely delicious meat plate and a glass of fine German wine, all served by the very kind and careful service team. 100% recommended!

Nice restaurant to stop by. The drinks and menu are varied and extensive. The quality of the food is consistently good. The ambience is appealing. I can recommend the Mückenschlösschen.

The construction noise is finally a thing of the past and Corona is also preventing the well-known restaurant between Waldstrasse Quarter and Rosenthal (Rosental?) from reaching its previous sales figures again. I've been there 4 times in the last 3 years, the last time last November. Of course, the beer garden or outdoor seating is in a class of its own due to the location of the Mückenschlösschen. The prices of the drinks and food are above average in Leipzig, and the quality is better in this comparison than in the majority of the restaurants I have visited since 2009. The staff at M. Schlösschen are courteous, child- and dog-friendly and, above all, quick.

Unfortunately, extremely long waiting times, even though it wasn't full. The location is absolutely great. When it comes to the prices for the food, the quality definitely needs to be improved.

We arrived shortly before 9 p.m., when we asked if it was still possible to eat something warm, the answer was yes and we were given a table. Everyone in service was super friendly and the chef did a great job. We'll definitely be back. 👍🏼😊

Great food and chic ambience. The brunch is highly recommended. In summer, the large outdoor seating area is also a highlight.

We had booked the tower room, which means you pay €50 for room rent, but you don't have to climb any stairs, but it is very nice for a maximum of 24 people. The small bay window has a separate table with space for around 5 people. The service was very good, no one had to wait long for their drink or food. However, several guests who ordered a Ragout Fin complained that it was very salty.

Unfortunately I have to change my review. Yesterday, March 9th, 2024, we were at the Mückenschlösschen again and all four of us guests noticed that the food was very bad. Small portions for a big price. It wasn't always like this, see my reviews from summer 2023. Today at the summer theater and we had ordered food in advance. The waitresses are polite, quick and professional. For dinner we ordered home-made brawn and marinated salmon. The food came fairly quickly. It was very delicious and as a brawn eater I can only say that I haven't eaten so well in a long time. The salmon was also well prepared and very delicious. Keep it up and we'll bring friends with us soon. The play was very lukewarm and not very entertaining as they deviated greatly from the play due to internal problems. Conclusion: Mückenschlösschen always has outdoor seating, food, staff great. Theater in this form will not happen again.

Went for brunch. Food was plentiful and attractively prepared. The service staff carefully looked after our well-being I can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience. The parking situation on site is somewhat problematic. You should plan to walk a few meters.

We celebrated our wedding here and were more than thrilled! The tables were beautifully decorated, the buffet was plentiful and very tasty, the waiters were very accommodating and served us politely all day. We would celebrate here again and again and can highly recommend it.

I was here for the theater dinner. The 5 course menu that came with it was a dream.... Everything, except the 1st course (various bread with various dips), was just perfect 👍👍👍

Schönes Lokal mit Schwächen. Die Bedienung ist freundlich, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Die Auswahl hat einige Alleinstellungsmerkmal. Leider hört man die Waldstraße sehr deutlich im Freisitz. Enttäuschend ist die starke Abweichung von der Bebilderung von Eiskarte zum realen Produkt. In unserem Fall hat das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis NICHT gestimmt. Es bleibt also viel Luft nach oben.

Waren zum Sonntagsbrunch. Tolles Angebot und dazu all you can eat für 32,50 mit Wasser, Tee und Kaffee. Für große Feiern toll

Tolles Restaurant im Herzen Leipzig. Wir haben Sonntag Geburtstag dort gefeiert, bei köstlichen Brunch von 10 bis 13 Uhr. Das Essen war exzellent, viele Angebote haben keine Wünsche aufkommen lassen. Das Haus war zudem ausgebucht. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ich war zum ,,Weihnachtsessen" da. Der Service war top sowie das Essen. Toiletten waren sauber. Holt euch selbst einen Eindruck und geht mal hin.

Wir waren heute das erste mal im Mückenschlösschen beim Sonntags-Brunch. Ich muss sagen, dass wir lange nicht mehr mit so einer Herzlichkeit und Leidenschaft bedient wurden. Gerade in der heutigen Zeit begegnet man einem solchen Gastroteam sehr selten. Ich schreibe nicht oft irgendwelche Bewertungen, aber für solch ein Essen und Bedienung musste ich mal ein Lob loswerden. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Wir waren zur Dinnershow "Bonnie und Clyde" im Mückenschlösschen. Wunderschönes Ambiente, unglaublich aufmerksames Personal und ein tolles abwechslungsreiches Unterhaltungsprogramm nebenbei! Auf die Glutenunverträglichkeit meiner Partnerin wurde super eingegangen. Sie hat 4 an die originalen Gänge angelehnte Speisen serviert bekommen. Ist auf jeden Fall sein Geld wert!

Hervorragendes Essen, sehr nettes Personal

Zum wiederholten Male habe ich an einer Dinnershow teilgenommen. Das Ambiente, die Darbietung und erst die Essensauswahl sind großartig. Die Band, die Step Tänzerinnen / Tänzer und das Servicepersonal haben den Abend zu einem tollen Abend gemacht. Gern wieder.

Wir sind jedes Jahr mit unseren Motorradfreunden hier zum Brunch. Es ist immer wieder schön. Das Essen ist lecker, das Servicepersonal freundlich und zuvorkommend und das Ambiente passt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir hatten im Mückenschlößchen eine Weihnachtsfeier. Es war ein sehr schöner Abend. Sehr zu empfehlen. Alle super nett und gut drauf. Eine gute Rundumversorung. Da gibt's noch mehr schöne Dinge. Es lohnt sich ein Besuch. Schade überall Baustellen. Schwer zu erreichen. Aber mit Taxi geht 's .

Ich war das erste Mal hier. Wir waren zum Brunch. Es gab eine große Auswahl an Speisen z.B. Brötchen, Brot dazu Rührei, Wurst Käse Marmelade usw. . Dann warme Gerichte mit Klößen, Kartoffeln, Gemüse usw. Und auch eine große Auswahl an süßen Speisen. Es war toll und wir werden es bestimmt bald wieder genießen.

Sehr schönes Restaurant tolle und liebenswertes Personal und richtig leckeres Essen . Es werden viele tolle Veranstaltungen geboten und mehrere Gänge Menüs dazu , da ist sicher für jeder was zum dabei , ihr müsst unbedingt mal reinschauen. Unser Hundi Bruno wurde auch besonders liebevoll behandelt . Danke an alle bis bald .

Das Mückenschlösschen hatte ich in guter Erinnerung und deshalb suchten wir es auf. Entschieden hatte ich mich für den Hirschgulasch und mich sehr darauf gefreut. Jedoch passte Preis Leistung in dem Fall nicht. Meine Freundin und ich hatten ungelogen drei Stück Fleisch auf dem Teller, Unmengen von angedickter Bratensauce und Garnierung auf dem Püree mit Sprossen....passt auf ein weihnachtliches/ herbstlichen Essen überhaupt nicht. Was kostet da bitte 21.95€ ? Die Portion war ausreichend, das war in Ordnung. Man kann so tolle Soßen vom Hirschfleisch ziehen 🙄bin echt enttäuscht und würde es nicht empfehlen! Nicht bloß die Preise erhöhen sondern auch auf Qualität achten und den Gast nicht dicker Bratensauce sättigen. Schade! Das Personal war sehr freundlich!

Sehr zu empfehlen, Getränke und Speisen sehr gut. Bedienung, schnell, freundlich, spontan. Wir kamen in den Biergarten und hatten für 12 Personen reserviert. Da es sich um ein Geschäftsessen meiner Hundeschule Stadtwölfe Leipzig handelte, reisten wir mit 10 Hunden an und wurden sehrsehr freundlich empfangen. Wir kommen wieder. Tischreservation für 9 Personen hat gut geklappt. Das erste Bier war schnell am Platz - guter zuvorkommender Service. Das Essen gut bürgerlich aber schmackhaft gekocht. Preis Leistung stimmt. Lokal ist angenehm mit hoher Decke und historisch wertvollen Kassettendecken.

Wir sitzen an einem lauen Spätsommerabend im wunderschönen Biergarten. Die saisonale Oktoberfestkarte liest sich da wie ein Sechser im Lotto. Wir bestellten Oktoberfestbier und Leberkäse mit Kartoffelsalat bzw. Einen Salatteller. Der Leberkäse war unterdurchschnittlich, der Kartoffelsalat war aus dem Eimer. Der Salat meiner Frau war nicht viel besser. Dass der Salat entgegen Beschreibung in der Karte ohne Brot serviert wurde, rundete das Bild ab. Schade, die Location hätte eine ordentliche Küche verdient!

Wir waren am 20.03.2022 im Mückenschlösschen zum 5. Geburtstag unserer kleinen Tochter zum Brunch hier. Alles war ganz liebevoll vorbereitet. Das Essen war sehr lecker (manchmal etwas zu gar); auch für unseren Vegetarier. Prosecco, Wasser, Kaffee und Saft waren im Preis inbegriffen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Mein Genesenen Nachweis sorgte für unsicherheit da er vom Gesundheitsamt nicht eindeutig beschrieben war. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Essen entsprach meinen Vorstellungen. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist völlig in Ordnung.
