I will never go to this juice shop again. I asked for a table reservation. I was told in a completely unfriendly and stroppy tone that this was not possible. For him (the boss) it's too stressful, you can just come over with two people and hope that something is available. I mentioned that there would be 6 of us and would like to pre-arrange a birthday. I was then told that in this case we should go somewhere else. I have never encountered such a lack of politeness and decency in a restaurant. My advice to everyone, go somewhere else.

Very decent home cooking in a rustic and cozy atmosphere. Friendly and quick service. We felt comfortable here.

We spent a great evening in the mousetrap. The historic building has great charm, the service was very warm and the food was excellent. Lots of homemade specialties that someone has put a lot of thought and passion into. We will come back!

Great evening! Stumbled in at eight on a Monday. 10 minutes after ordering I had both beer and Leberkäs on the table. Food was delicious, beer had a perfect head. What more could you want after a tiring day?

Very good and honest German cuisine. Everything is very harmonious. Location, rooms, menu and the food itself. Good portions, really deliciously prepared. I drove 15 km for the Cordon Bleu, but I would also drive 50 km for it. Highly recommended is the men's cream, classic and exactly as it should be. This type of classic German cuisine is becoming increasingly difficult to find. Game, beef roulades and much more. We would be happy to come back.

I only come here on Wednesdays for the motorcycle meeting, so I can't say anything about the actual gastronomy. But the meeting is great. Always very well attended. The catering is inexpensive and good. A fixture in the motorcycle scene for many years.

A very nice, cozy restaurant. We ate ribs and we didn't know the version with garlic butter, but it was very tasty. Very, very friendly staff from the kitchen to the waitresses. You don't have that that often anymore. We will definitely come back. Thank you for this great evening 😊

My wife and I have been going to Heinsberg for years to the Janses Mattes restaurant and can only report positive things: the food is excellent and very deliciously prepared, the quality is constant, the prices are not exorbitant, no, on the contrary, they are extremely decent and justified! For us, the trip to Heinsberg is worth it and we can only recommend this restaurant! Five stars for this restaurant
