Wooden benches and tables, rustic with charm. Traditional restaurant under new management. Food manageable, which I prefer. Schnitzel from the pan, meat (steak) as desired. Quantity for medallions should be 1 more. Wines at 6.50+. Service friendly.

It's basically in the local shopping area, very nicely located. I sat outside, it's neat there with a nice, rather unobtrusive atmosphere. And the food, just amazing. First of all there is a greeting from the kitchen and I ordered the sliced ​​meat “Allgäuer Style”. A dream of food, very hearty just the way I like it. The waitress Burak is very accommodating, attentive and super friendly. People enjoy eating here! I'm already looking forward to my next visit with you.

We had dinner before the England - Slovakia match. We wanted local cuisine and it was a hit! We took the signature dish - schnitzel. Very good, nice additions, everyone was full and happy. Plus delicious cold beer 🍺. Despite the large crowd and numerous fans, the dishes were delivered after about 20 minutes, for which we are very grateful. The waitress was very nice and helpful. Nice and relaxed atmosphere... I can honestly recommend it!

The original old walls do have a certain charm in a positive sense, but the tables and chairs are very old-fashioned and should be replaced with more modern furniture. There were twelve of us there and our impression was that the acoustics were quite good and we didn't have to shout at each other. The service staff was really very attentive and friendly. The beef steak was cooked to perfection and was very tasty, but the sauce that was served in the sauce pot was so extremely salty that it was difficult to enjoy. I generally like saltier food, but this sauce didn't work at all! If the sauce is generally prepared this way, you should keep an eye on the amount of salt used and taste it yourself. The dessert (chocolate dream) was really delicious, although not exactly cheap. Overall, despite the extremely salty sauce, 4/5 stars

Pub-like restaurant with lots of witch decorations, comfortably furnished. Although at first glance you might not necessarily expect creative cuisine with a lot of selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. There was even a greeting from the kitchen.

Were there today for the breakfast buffet, We are one hundred percent thrilled, delicious and varied breakfast. Coffee or tea up to wave. Scrambled eggs with bacon and sausages / sausage and cheese platter with everything your heart desires, plus delicious salmon. Went there for breakfast today with two people and couldn't manage to eat it all. Also a big compliment to the attentive service. Just great. 👍👍👍👍👍

Service was good, we waited 1.30 hours for the food and then we left despite having ordered in advance. If there is a lack of service in the kitchen, that's understandable, but it's just not possible to assume and assume outside. A pity…

Had the spring menu yesterday, absolutely great. Price performance was fair, rather cheap. Can be highly recommended.

The three of us were there yesterday. We were thrilled and very welcome from the start. The service was excellent, the lady was friendly and charming. There was a little surprise from the kitchen, we were lucky enough to taste a potato and carrot soup (a welcoming gesture so that we don't have to wait long for the main course, which is freshly prepared). Main courses were served on warm plates to keep them nice and hot. The taste was also great. The restaurant is definitely recommended. (Unfortunately there was no daily menu on our menu cards, but there was one hanging outside. Presumably because it was already evening)

We had reserved a table for four people. The food, four different schnitzels, only came to the table in 3 deliveries after we asked for more than an hour. The restaurant wasn't full and by 9:15 p.m. most of the other guests had already eaten. The service was unfriendly and inattentive. When I saw the waiter in the passage to the toilet putting the finishing touches to two desserts, the dessert order was also taken care of. As other guests have already noted, the toilet and its surroundings are in urgent need of renovation. The walk there allows meaningful insights into the food distribution and the scullery. The witch can't do enough magic for us to come back.

The food is okay, but the rest, I would like to have fried potatoes instead of another side dish, pay 1.50 euros extra. The lunch menu was only brought to the table upon request. We didn't feel comfortable, it was like we weren't welcome.

A nice, small and quaint restaurant. The dishes are delicious. The staff is very friendly. The prices are moderate. Parking spaces are rare here during the week. Were here with 5 people and will definitely come back.

Unfortunately I have to give the stars like this! Food top as always. Service bad! (Total 2.5 hours there to eat) Forgot drinks and over 1.2 hours. Waited for food... Personally, it was too loud there yesterday! What a shame!! But I'll be back.

Today we were invited to dinner. The Zum Hexenhäuschen restaurant was chosen. A table reservation seems to be required. The drink order was quick and the drinks arrived quickly. After ordering the food, it took a while until it was served. Because the food is probably freshly prepared. My dish was tasty and plentiful. I would probably have been full from a senior plate. I can't say much about the prices because I don't have much opportunity to compare them. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The ambience corresponds to the age of the restaurant. I can recommend the restaurant, even a good eater will be full.

Die Gerichte sind toll abgeschmeckt. Fisch, Schnitzel, Pasta, Muscheln und sogar vegan Tofu. Mit kleinen Raffinessen verfeinert, sehr gut abgeschmeckt. Das Essen ist richtig gut und der Service ist witzig, sehr aufmerksam und kompetent. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Super Bedienung, top Essen eventuell etwas zu teuer. Nur Fritten und Fleisch... keine Beilage bzw. Salate. 2 kleine grüne Spargel.

Wir waren auf Empfehlung dort zum Abendessen, leider hat uns das Essen nicht überzeugt. Die Vorspeisen haben nach Bestellung ca.45min gebraucht, was ich doch sehr lang finde, dazu kam es, dass die Zwiebelsuppe an den falschen Tisch serviert worden ist. So hat meine Frau ihre mediterrane Vorspeise schon alleine essen müssen. Anschließend eine weitere halbe Stunde auf das Hauptgericht gewartet. Meine Gänsebrust war schon sehr trocken und die Haut war schon an gewissen Stellen dunkel- schwarz. Die Muscheln in pikanter Tomatensauce waren sehr lasch, haben uns da doch mehr versprochen. Leider wird es unser letzter Besuch dort. Schade.

Wir waren gestern Abend zum Essen im Hexenhäuschen. Das Servicepersonal war sehr nett. Das Essen klasse. Wir hatten Muscheln und das Lamm. Das Ambiente zusammen gewürfelt, aber nicht ohne Charme. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ich bin eigentlich ein großer Fan vom Hexenhäuschen und gehe immer gerne mit meiner Familie dort essen. Es freut mich, dass es so leckere Vegane und vegetarische Gerichte gibt. Allerdings frage ich mich, wieso man unbedingt ein „Zigeunerschnitzel“ auf der Karte haben muss… Die Bezeichnung „Zigeuner“ ist veraltet und steht untrennbar mit rassistischen Zuschreibungen, Klischees und negativen Stereotypen in Zusammenhang. Für betroffene Menschen ist es diskriminierend und sorgt auch bei Menschen wie mir für Unwohlsein. Ich würde mich sehr freuen, wenn man aus Rücksicht diesen Begriff streichen und das Schnitzel einfach als Kalbs-/ Schweineschnitzel mit Paprikasoße o.ä. umschreiben oder es vielleicht einfach durch ein weiteres veganes/ vegetarisches Gericht ersetzen würde ;-)

Tolle Auswahl für Vegetarier und Veganer. Freundlicher Service, richtig ordentliche Portionen. Dazu gibt es einen Gruß aus der Küche.

Sehr nettes uriges deutsches Restaurant. Personal sehr nett und aufmerksam. Das Hexenhäuschen Schnitzel war sehr lecker und ausreixhend gross. Auch die anderen waren sehr zufrieden, sei es Hase, Steak, Geschnetzeltes, Nachspeise - alles sehr lecker und frisch und schön dekoriert, das Auge isst schliesslich mit.

Gehen hier sehr gerne hin, nettes Personal und der Teller ist immer gut voll, also wird man eigentlich immer satt. Sehr leckere Küche. Und wenn man keinen Hunger hat, kann man sich auch an die Theke setzen und was trinken. Update 2022: Gehen hier seit Jahren sehr gerne hin und sind immer zufrieden. Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier. Die Bedienung war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen und die Getränke kamen sehr zügig. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Das Preis-Leistung Verhältnis stimmt. Wir werden wiederkommen.

Meine älteste Schwester hat dieses Restaurant ausgesucht. Es sieht von außen schon irgendwie urig aus. Es befindet sich mitten in Gelsenkirchen-Buer, neben dem Dom. Der Name Hexenhäuschen ist Programm. Überall im Restaurant sitzen, stehen und hängen die Hexen. Derzeit ist die Tischdeko im Zeichen des Oktoberfestes. Man erhält vorab einen kleinen Gruß aus der Küche, laut meiner Schwester ist es jedesmal etwas anderes. Der Service ist aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Essen kam zügig , es wurde auf sehr warmen Tellern serviert. So bleibt das Essen schön lange warm. Die Portionen sind wirklich ausreichend. Die Preise für ein Gericht liegen zwischen 17 - 35 € (je nach Fleisch etc). Das Fleisch war schön zart und alles sehr gut abgeschmeckt. Wir würden dort wieder essen gehen.
