Usually, if I return to the same restaurant, I want to try something different, but once I tried the rumpsteak here (two variations, with herb butter or green peppercorn sauce), I didn't want to try anything else... spectacular cuisine, congratulations. Excellent service and beautiful location, I hope to return.

The casseroles are the highlights of the menu. Usually, all of these are top notch. Todays's 'rumpsteak' was ordered medium , it arrived medium well and its cut was less tender than expected. Others did not find it as tough as I did. Salad and roesties were good.

The restaurant's highly original name piques interest. Branding strategy well done! And the rest of the marketing mix? Excellent: very good service; beautiful ambiance – both inside and out; interesting menu; and good quality food. The only drawback: the fine art of achieving casserole dishes with the optimal texture isn't quite mastered. In any case, the value for money is good. And the clientele is very pleasant. The store itself is okay, but writing ambiguous receipts by hand and ripping off customers is completely unacceptable. So it's no wonder why it's "cash only." The slightly overweight waitress most likely pocketed €10 without a tip.

The name gets 5 stars ;) I'd describe the ambiance as alternative, rustic, and creative. In addition to the regular menu, there's a weekly changing menu with additional casserole creations. There's a small selection of vegetarian options. The portion, although it doesn't look like it, was quite generous, and I unfortunately didn't manage to finish it all...it was tasty overall. I thought the drink prices were fair. In the adjoining room, there was a small light installation/exhibition by a local (?) artist, and overall, the walls were worth seeing. The restrooms were also interestingly designed. Unfortunately, you could only pay in cash.

While passing through, looking for something other than pizza, home-style food, etc., I stumbled upon this place. The casseroles, in particular, sounded intriguing. While reading the reviews, I noticed that making a reservation by phone seemed rather difficult, so we went on a whim. The owner does seem to keep a close eye on his customers. However, he's by no means unfriendly. Quite the opposite: we were offered a table that had already been reserved for a later time, with the comment that we could stay longer if anything changed. Even when choosing our dishes, the owner pointed out daily specials that weren't on the menu. The place has its own charm. It's obvious everywhere that someone here is a Rolling Stones fan 😉. Since the owner was described as rude in the reviews, I was a little more attentive. And I have to say that he was very approachable and friendly in person with everyone he spoke to. Likewise, at least during our stay, they always tried to accommodate our seating preferences. My recommendation: don't call, go in person.

We went there with a group to eat. The friendliness wasn't exactly commendable. Despite booking in advance, we were immediately told, "You can leave right away, there's nothing available..." Everything inside was marked reserved, but no one came or sat there. It was supposed to be served outside. The food was great again. The beer garden, or rather the tables and seating, have seen better days.

This reputable pedestrian has been a Minden institution for decades. The food is delicious, the casseroles are always the same, and the seasonal menu is consistently good. The owner is consistently unfriendly, but he can also smile sometimes. The ambiance is old and mixed; cozy is different, but the place is always full! Unfortunately, pets have not been allowed for years.

The casseroles are especially recommended. The pedestrians are known for them. A beautiful beer garden under old trees.

The interesting name piqued my curiosity. The reward was a good meal in a pleasant atmosphere with good service. Everything was excellent, prices were reasonable for what was offered, with only one minor drawback: dogs aren't allowed inside. Since the weather was nice, we sat outside. Nevertheless, I give it a full 5 stars for the quality and service, although the "dog ban" actually deducts a point.

The atmosphere is just like the pedestrians; some don't like it, but the many regulars like it just the way it always has been, and most people also like the chef just the way he is! I will never go to this juice shop again. I asked for a table reservation. I was told in a completely unfriendly and stroppy tone that this was not possible. For him (the boss) it's too stressful, you can just come over with two people and hope that something is available. I mentioned that there would be 6 of us and would like to pre-arrange a birthday. I was then told that in this case we should go somewhere else. I have never encountered such a lack of politeness and decency in a restaurant. My advice to everyone, go somewhere else.

The serious pedestrian is a cult pub/restaurant with a special flair. Here you can still get your fill at affordable prices. A changing daily menu rounds off the extensive menu. Last night there was live music again, a fantastic concert with local musicians. As always, entry was free! With oldies from the 60s to 80s from the Beatles, Pink Floyd, David Bowie, Eric Clapton to the Stones, everything was there that touched the hearts of the predominantly older audience. After we were told by phone that we couldn't make a reservation, the four of us spontaneously went out yesterday. When we asked for a table, we were reprimanded in a completely unfriendly manner by the boss himself. You couldn't expect to get a table at 7 p.m. on a Saturday. That was beyond wrong. His employee sorted it out so we could wait for a table. She only commented on her boss's tone with a shrug and a roll of her eyes. Well, seems to be the normal tone there. Strangely, the table next to us was unoccupied the entire time. Intended for the good friends of the house. Except for the delicious food, actually not recommended.

When we wanted to sit down at a table inside, the boss loudly stopped or forbade us from doing so - with the words: “What do you want here - you can stay outside - and if you don't like that, you can pay and leave. “ Unfortunately, not only was the treatment of the guests disappointing, but also the quality of the food. Training the staff and the chef (especially the boss) in customer service and stricter quality control of the dishes could help improve the experience of future guests. After my experience with the restaurant, I seriously ask myself - how does this place get so many positive reviews? Bought?

We ate here for the first time today and can only highly recommend it. Super nice and great service staff who always come to the table with a smile and are super friendly. The food is very tasty and plentiful and the prices are unbeatably cheap by today's standards. The only negative point are the tables and chairs in the beer garden, which could use a coat of paint. The restaurant 'Zum Seriösen pedestrian' tempts with delicious food that pampers the taste buds. Unfortunately, reservation is often difficult as only 50% of the places can be reserved in advance. This may be attractive for spontaneous visitors, but it can provide planning security. What is particularly disappointing is the fact that the restaurant is wheelchair accessible, but there are no accessible toilets on the ground floor as they are in the basement. This significantly limits accessibility for people with mobility impairments and is unfortunate. Nevertheless, the restaurant remains worth a visit for its excellent food and charming ambience, albeit with some limitations."
