Peter is a fantastic host. The food, which he cooks himself as a trained chef, is simply delicious and of the finest quality. The bowling alley was immaculate and the cleanliness was top notch. The restrooms were in perfect condition. Treat yourself! Best evening in a long time! Greetings, your Schalke friends :)

We were at the inn on December 13, 2024, to kick off our Christmas party with a game of bowling. The schnitzel buffet (for 17 people) was delicious, and there was plenty of everything. The double bowling alley also worked perfectly. The host even sent his colleague out to get us some Berliner Luft (a type of beer). 👍🏼 The only thing that wasn't so pleasant was that the temperature on the bowling alley was quite chilly.

Got great steaks. Sooooo delicious. The price was unbeatable.

Where do I start? We wanted to celebrate our Christmas party in this location. Even the planning was difficult. The food: We were a group of 23 men. Schnitzel buffet was ordered. Schnitzel and fries were okay if you can deal with heartburn. The sauces were soups. Drinks: We just wanted beer. After each round we had to ask the innkeeper to bring us another puddle. Then came the hammer! Liquor! Roten for 30 and Obstler for 100! He said: “Normally I sell it for 140€ but for you I'll make 100! Huh??? After discussion we ended up with 25 per bottle! You can get this brand on Amazon for just €14.90! Finally, there were discussions regarding billing. At first we had a difference of €100. After they were paid, the innkeeper wanted another 30 in hand. I cannot recommend this shed!

The staff was abysmal, 100 euros for a bottle of swill: pathetic. Otherwise, simply no. It's just disrespectful.

We were there as a team, the schnitzel buffet was edible. The service was not good from the start and outrageous prices were quoted.

We planned an event as a group. The food tasted appropriate for the price. After that it was all downhill. No more service. A sipping bottle for €100. From the feeling it was only about the money. We were the only group there. It was just a matter of getting money out of us.

He could have made a fortune off of us. Instead he wants €100 per bottle of sip. I think it's hacking.

We went to the bowling alley twice and then ate there too. Everything great!

very nice local inn. After visiting the Kaiser Wilhelm monument, a warm ending! quiet shop with a cozy atmosphere and cozy light. Regional German dishes are served tasty and in generous portions. and an extremely friendly waiter. LG yngve

Der Charme eines urigen Restaurants der 70er Jahre. Es wird frisch und lecker gekocht. Die Kegelbahn wird von den Leuten vor Ort offenbar gern genutzt.

Wir waren als Gruppe zum Essen und Kegeln da. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Wir hatten sehr viel Spaß und der Service war auch gut. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Echt selten so ein gutes Schnitzel gegessen wie hier. Da können sich so manch gute Restaurants ein Beispiel dran nehmen. Gerne wieder

Was soll ich sagen, einfach nur lecker !!!!!!

Für mich ist das Essen dort Hausmannskost. Vielleicht sollte man mehr mit Kräutern und Knoblauch anrichten, statt alles mit Zwiebeln zu verfeinern.

Leckeres Essen und ein sehr sympathischer Wirt/Koch! Der versteht noch sein Handwerk.

Ein Geheimtipp unter den Gaststätten! Das Essen ist sehr gut! So leckere Steaks und Schnitzel bekommt man selbst in guten Restaurants selten! Service insgesamt sehr gut! Preis - Leistung unschlagbar!
