Unfortunately the food was very average for the prices. The bruscetta was nicely prepared, taste was ok. We had 3 different burgers, all over 20 euros, with no kick or special taste. It's a shame, we can make it tastier at home. The fried herring was simple and too expensive. Expected much more when rating it. Maybe we picked the wrong rumors :)

We had a delicious meal here, everything was very harmonious. Two small points of criticism about a meat dish: please add another knife and the hollandaise must be strong and not foamy like from the cream siphon.

We had a very good and delicious meal here. The eggnog dessert with apple compote and vanilla ice cream was a dream.

We were pleasantly surprised, the Veermaster restaurant is now one of our Usedom highlights. The food is wonderfully seasoned and very tasty all around, the service is very nice and the ambience matches the sea. We were completely happy and would love to come back.

2025: is now too expensive for me, €7.90 or €8.90. 21.5% more than in January 2023. (hock of pork even 36.9%, although this is not expensive meat) That's why I reduced the stars and have to think about whether I'll be a guest there again or whether I'll cook myself. The prices have risen steadily, and no one noticed a temporary reduction in VAT 😔, like all the other restaurants. 2018: I almost always eat pork knuckle because it is more difficult to prepare at home. The cuisine (German home cooking) is uniquely good here!! There are 7 dishes every weekday for €4.70, which is a great PLV. There's also a smoking room and a flat-screen TV to ensure regulars get their money's worth. Also outdoor places. Parking no problem. Cozy and clean, I always like coming here because everything is very tasty and freshly prepared "like mother's". 11/22: of course the prices have been raised here too, to €6 for lunch 1/23: now the lunch menu costs €6.50 (they are very simple dishes), so it's starting to get tight.... With a drink, tip, car journey €10 per person, but you're better off setting up the stove yourself and cooking it in advance for 2 or 3 days, provided you can cook well.

It was an incredibly nice short vacation... The hotel is easy to reach by car but also by public transport…. Clean and very modern and warm atmosphere…. The food, whether it was breakfast or dinner, was delicious... The spa area is very well maintained and the treatments were very nice... Cleanliness and friendly are not a word capitalized in this house... The room was sufficient and the bathroom was as it should be... nothing was missing... I would happily return to this hotel again

I ate with my mother at the Polchow fish restaurant - an experience that left very different impressions on both of us. Let's start with my mother: Having arrived in a bad mood because she had read an unflattering review beforehand, the evening was not a good one. Unfortunately, this first impression was confirmed for her - neither the drinks nor the food could convince her. Quote from my mother when I took the first sip: “Well, it tastes like stale, carbonated tap water.” Things didn't get any better when it came to eating - she was simply disappointed. Personally, I was a little more relaxed, but in the end I can't really get excited. The schnitzel – well, you know it: frozen food from the deep fryer, the kind you get in a motorway service station after midnight. Anyway, the fried potatoes surprised me positively. They were really tasty – someone worked with clarified butter and maybe even a little heart. Bottom line? Average. Or maybe just below. It was like the song by Udo Jürgens – “But please with cream” – only... without cream. And we really left a lot of money for all of this. In any case, Frank Rosin would have a great time here - whether out of enthusiasm or therapeutic ambition, that remains to be seen.
