Hello everyone, we were at Eva's Café today. We ordered takeaway food. We ordered two different burgers and potatoes. They packed everything well, and the staff were very nice, friendly, polite, and helpful. Everything was clean and tidy.
Great value for money,
great service,
great staff. 👍👍👍👍👍
We'll go there again.
This is our favorite. I enjoy eating and celebrating here. I love restaurants that always have consistent quality. Bavarian and Swabian cuisine without a lot of frills. The food is like your grandma's, you can hardly get it anymore. I get my sulz in two versions, lean and fat if you want. Great taste. Schnitzel tastes great. We have already celebrated with 70 people and it was simply uncomplicated and the food was excellent. I will always have my birthday party here because I won't be disappointed here. Thank you for everything, it's not a given to be so satisfied.
A beautiful “tavern” as you imagine it!
The hosts are very friendly and accommodating,
The menu is absolutely impressive in terms of variety!
The food here definitely has to be highlighted:
“real, handmade home cooking” that leaves nothing to be desired - and at really reasonable prices!
You'll be happy to come back here!
Very tasty and the staff was also very friendly, had schnitzel with fried potatoes, the schnitzel was simply incredibly tasty, I can recommend it to everyone to eat there😉👍
We recently visited Settele for the first time. Initially, we were a bit annoyed because, as soon as we arrived at our table, we noticed the unpleasant bass from a stereo system. You could barely hear a melody, but the rhythm was very unpleasant. It almost tempted us to get up and eat somewhere else. But when we asked the waiter to turn the music down, he did so immediately and turned the system off completely. After that, nothing stood in the way of a relaxed meal. We ordered veal liver and a pasta dish with asparagus and kohlrabi. Both were excellent, cooked to perfection, and well-seasoned. The two desserts (cold espresso with ice and iced tiramisu) were also wonderful. The service wasn't the fastest, but it was very friendly.
The ambiance of the restaurant is modern and rather dark. We found it very pleasant that the tables aren't too close together, and you don't get the impression that every square inch is being used to maximize sales.
The background music is annoying (as in most restaurants), but it was turned off here at our request. It wasn't very busy that evening (a weekday, just before 7 p.m.), and the other guests didn't seem to care.
I've never met anyone who complained about no music playing in a restaurant. The opposite is certainly true, though. Many people find the din annoying, and older people in particular have difficulty communicating with their counterparts or concentrating on the menu.
Unfortunately, most guests don't dare to ask for quiet.
If you want to be exposed to background music, you can always go to a club or a music bar. However, in my opinion, an upscale dining experience contradicts this.
Overall, our first visit to Gasthaus Settele was very enjoyable. Next time, we'll try the terrace, hopefully when the weather is nice!
It would be desirable for every restaurant to offer a non-sound area and to also provide information about it on their website. I'm sure that would appeal to many people. And who knows? Perhaps the demand for quiet seats will be so great that the area will be expanded to include the entire restaurant...
Whenever I'm in Landshut, I always stop by or pick something up. Great food, pleasant atmosphere, and large schnitzel sandwiches to go. Highly recommended!
