Whenever I'm in Landshut, I always stop by or pick something up. Great food, pleasant atmosphere, and large schnitzel sandwiches to go. Highly recommended!

Very good food, very friendly service. We felt very comfortable and would gladly return. We know schnitzel specialties from various restaurants in Vienna, and the schnitzels at the Heilig Geist Stüberl are in no way inferior—quite the opposite.

Delicious food, something for everyone

Eigentlich hatte ich mich sehr auf diesen Besuch in dem etwas anderen Lokal gefreut. Leider hatte ich Appetit auf ein leckeres Cordon bleu und habe auch natürlich in der Karte gelesen, dass dort stand, dass es etwas dunkler gebraten ist. Okay, der Leihe stellt sich erst mal jetzt nichts besonderes vor. Als es Cordon bleu kam, wusste ich genau, was gemeint wurde mit dunkel gebraten. der Geschmack war wie verbrannt. Ich fragte die Bedienung, warum es dunkel angebraten wird und sie meinte, sonst wäre das Fleisch natürlich innen nicht durch. Eigentlich schon einleuchten aber jeder, der schon mal ein Cordon bleu gebraten hat, weiß dass die Panade trotzdem nicht schwarz verbrannt sein muss. Leider war das Cordon bleu, nicht wirklich genießbar, weil es immer diesen verbrannten Geschmack hatte. Zusätzlich hatte ich meine Pommes abbestellt und gesagt, ich hätte lieber einen kleinen Salat dazu, welche wirklich sehr lieblos und auch in der großen Menge auf einen Teller geklatscht wurde. Alle um mich herum, die dabei waren, haben sehr gut gegessen und die Schnitzel waren ansonsten wirklich gut aber mein Essen, dass ich hier bewerte, war überhaupt nichts. Als ich ans bezahlen ging, hatte ich mich noch gewundert warum ich denn jetzt, obwohl ich auf ne große Portion Pommes verzichten und lieber einen kleinen Salat nehme Auch noch 1,50 € Aufschlag zahlen muss. Aber die Bedienung meinte das wäre der Aufschlag weil ich es um bestellt hätte. Das finde ich schon ziemlich frech vor allen Dingen für die Qualität des aufgeklatscht Sten Salat es

I was actually really looking forward to this visit to this slightly different restaurant. Unfortunately, I had an appetite for a delicious cordon bleu and of course I read on the menu that it was fried a little darker. Okay, the loanee doesn't think of anything special at the moment. When the cordon bleu arrived, I knew exactly what was meant by dark fried. the taste was like burnt. I asked the waitress why it was fried until dark and she said otherwise the meat wouldn't be cooked through inside. It actually makes sense, but anyone who has ever fried a cordon bleu knows that the breading doesn't have to be burnt black. Unfortunately the cordon bleu wasn't really edible because it always had that burnt taste. In addition, I canceled my fries and said I would rather have a small salad with it, which was really very carelessly slapped onto a plate in large quantities. Everyone around me who was there ate very well and the schnitzels were otherwise really good, but the food I am reviewing here was nothing at all. When I went to pay, I was still wondering why, even though I forgo a large portion of fries and prefer a small salad, I still have to pay a surcharge of €1.50. But the waitress said that was the surcharge because I ordered it at. I think that's pretty cheeky, especially given the quality of the Sten Salad on top

The best schnitzel in town. Fair prices, delicious food and very fast, courteous service.

I've been going there for schnitzel for over 20 years now. Whether in a roll or as a dish. It's always great. I can still remember when the schnitzel roll cost €2. It's been a long time, but the taste is the same. If you take "with everything". I'd love to come back. Keep it up. 👍 The only negative thing that has increased is the food steam that gets stuck on your clothes. Maybe the trigger could be optimized. But otherwise, as it should be. Just a real Bavarian “Boazn”.

Excellent Bavarian food at reasonable prices. You can also tell by how busy it is, it's almost always full. Rustic, cozy and friendly service. At lunchtime there are very cheap and delicious schnitzel rolls. If there are more people, a reservation is recommended

We entered the Heilig Geist Stüberl inn on January 2nd, 2025 at around 7:00 p.m. and got a place for five people despite the inn being full. Since we were already very hungry, we were very happy that the portions were very large. So to clarify: none of us are weak eaters, although we struggled to eat everything! There's even some left over! The entire staff was very friendly. Although the menu wasn't large, the selection was so good that we couldn't decide straight away because everything was very interesting and suited our taste. We then decided on five large drinks, two breaded schnitzels with fries, two Milanese schnitzels and one cheese spaetzle. Unfortunately we were too full for the planned dessert. Since we are from Vienna, we honestly have to admit that this Viennese style schnitzel tastes better than in many restaurants here in Vienna. We will eat here again on our next visit to Germany! We paid €90 (including approx. 10% tip) so ~€16 to €18 per person. However, there is a small disadvantage: Since the kitchen is open, all the smells come into the guest area and the clothes smell like grease after the visit. I wouldn't deduct a star because of this, as this is not a rating/criticism but a personal annoying factor. We look forward to our next visit. World class schnitzel roll! Friendly staff, great value for money, I like to go there for lunch.

Schnitzel is a bit oversized (I hope they let the rest be packed up), but the taste is okay, the atmosphere is nice and rustic, the prices and selection match, in peak times there is a 45 minute wait for the food, the service makes an effort.

Great price-performance ratio, if you leave here hungry you will leave hungry everywhere, the taste is also great. We also highly recommend taking schnitzel rolls with you for your lunch break, you can eat there almost every week or pick up lunch.

One thing in advance: the price-performance ratio is great. What awaits you? Well, schnitzel for 10 EUR, you can also get something to eat depending on your options. The kitchen thrives on using ready-made products. Frozen food, bucket goods and sauces from the industry make expensive kitchen staff unnecessary. The service staff's demeanor is friendly, and that was the case that evening. No overview, no independent requests for drinks, my place was always used as a place to serve the group. There were no trained or semi-skilled staff at our table that evening. We were a small group of 8 people, so it wasn't rocket science...

The Heiligen Geist Stüberl is an old, established restaurant! The highlight here are the schnitzel dishes, huge, very fresh and reasonably priced.

Food was very tasty. We were there spontaneously without a reservation on a Tuesday evening and managed to get a table despite the high number of visitors.

It was better and cheaper. Schnitzel with fries is served without ketchup, but (in my opinion) it's just part of it and should be included in the price. Then it's better to charge 50 cents or one euro more for the schnitzel and automatically serve ketchup with it at no extra charge. Unfortunately, I've never had such a bad roast pork before, it wasn't tasty and was probably of low quality. Depending on the dish, the portions range from sufficient to large (the schnitzel in particular is huge). Overall the price is okay. Nice atmosphere, very rustic and beautifully decorated. The friendliness of the staff depends on the day and the service.

Alone on a business trip, looking for something to eat and found just the right place! Schlemmerschnitzel was very tasty, the Wittmann is also very good to drink. Service does its best and it shows! Price/performance world class! If I ever travel from Karlsruhe again, it will be a must visit

Four of us had dinner here. The service was initially good and on point. When it came to paying, he was no longer on point. We had 30 minutes for this process. Waited. To eat. It used to be much better. Homemade potato salad but very vinegary. Side salad for the money. Mhhhh, well too expensive. The three cucumber slices pure vinegar. The remaining components were not seasoned at all. Spaetzle were homemade and tasted okay. Unfortunately, the sauce was a pre-mixed sauce that was also very thick. Overall the food was okay.

We were there this evening as a group of 9 people and there were no problems with the space even as a larger group. The food was delicious and the prices were more than fair for the huge portions. The service was very nice and responded to all requests immediately. All in all a successful evening, gladly again!

A German restaurant that still sticks to the tried and tested names of the dishes, such as Zigeunerschnitzel. Hindekuchen isn't renamed because of an animal welfare association. The schnitzel rolls are a hit when sold on the street. The price-performance ratio is perfectly fine and the service staff is friendly and quick. The food is prepared in the open kitchen and it is advisable to make a reservation during peak meal times. .

Still the best schnitzels in town

The classic in Landshut. The best schnitzel in town in a lovely Bavarian atmosphere. The staff and boss are super nice, the portions are so big that you'll be full even if you're very hungry. The schnitzel roll to-go is far superior to any other to-go meal, I could eat it every day. It's a shame that it's closed on the weekend, when I usually have time to get a schnitzel roll. Now it remains a culinary pleasure that is reserved for my vacation. Absolute recommendation nonetheless, the food here is top and at a price that you're really happy to pay and that doesn't leave a bad aftertaste after the bill.

On recommendation we were pushed into the Stüberl and we didn't regret it. The schnitzel is simply great, the beer is poured with love and the service is exemplary, friendly and attentive. Dogs are immediately provided with a bowl and water in warm weather.

Until today, I have been a regular, but not very frequent client of this establishment for several years. I visited about a couple times a month, however, after today's event, I no longer want to go there. I came there on my birthday with my girlfriend and sister, they asked us about drinks, food, we ordered everything. 30 minutes later they bring it. The girl ordered juice (pointed her finger at the menu straight to grape juice 0.2l - 2.90 Eur) because... she cannot tolerate drinks with mineral water (Shorle), they brought her Shorle anyway (the waiter was a man, quite rude). We asked for a replacement and they did it for us. As a result, they brought the bill, which included an empty line for 11.90 Eur and said that this was for two drinks. I had to explain that we did not order any drinks for the girl for that kind of money. The waiter snorted, took my 100 euros from my hands and walked away from us for 10 minutes (why the hell the money was taken without permission, we were shocked). This is half the trouble, he returned and now added a drink to the check for 5.90 Eur and said what kind of juice it was. We again said that we ordered juice for 2.90 Eur. The waiter snorted again and said that it was a drink for 5.90 Eur, we asked to bring the menu and showed him with our finger that there wasn’t even a price tag for the juice, to which he said: “Well.. we poured you more and therefore it’s more expensive.” , we were shocked by such service. Not only did they bring the completely wrong drink and the girl almost felt ill, but then they cheated us twice, took our money without asking and never even (!) apologized. After this incident, I have no desire to visit this place, terrible service and zero customer focus.

Lovely place. Great food and very hospital staff and reasonable pricing. The staff all spoke English and also offered menus in English and Italian. Try the schnitzel and you will not be disappointed for sure.

Schnitzel is awesome. The inn has been a long-time favorite for many years and I always enjoy coming back. The food is good, middle-class, the portions can withstand even the big hunger ;) The staff is very friendly, but there is always a bit more going on at the weekend. You may need to draw attention to yourself.

The food in the restaurant was really good, but my experience was marred by the annoying service. I accidentally got ketchup all over me and had to pay full price, even though I looked like I had just walked out of a battlefield. This was really annoying and really affected my experience at the restaurant. Hopefully the service will improve in the future because the food alone isn't enough to keep me coming back.
