It's a shame, great beer garden, but the waitresses are haphazard. Drinks were forgotten, when asked they were forgotten because my son reordered his food. No wonder if you are presented with a blackboard, order now or not at all. There was time to respond, but it couldn't be implemented on site

It makes your Kniedla heart sing. So delicious! One of the best restaurants for Franconian cuisine. Above all, they know what's important here: making sure the Kniedla (dumpling, dumpling, potato dumpling) is cooked to perfection. Whether you're eating a regular one or the massive 630-gram Kniedla. DELICIOUS. The service is super friendly and attentive. And not only do the roasts, like Schäufele, Sauerbraten, and the like, taste fantastic, but the pan-fried dishes like schnitzel are also an absolute dream. Franconians say "bassd scho," because "ned gschimbft is gnug globt" :P Well, bassd scho—the highest praise in Franconia. It's super delicious. We'd love to go back! It's also great that they have a gluten-free and vegan menu! So there's something for everyone. PS: It's best to make a reservation :)

Wir waren gestern in der Restauration Fischer beim Essen. Wir hatten beide das Land-Menü. Meine Begleitung hat die Vorspeise aus dem See-Menü gegessen, da er kein Kalbstatar essen wollte. Zudem haben wir beide noch die Nachspeise aus dem See-Menü gewählt. Es ist schön, dass man einzelne Gänge tauschen kann, falls einem ein Gericht nicht zusagt. Darüber hinaus hat man auch die Möglichkeit, nur einzelne Gerichte zu bestellen. Die Qualität des Essens war hervorragend. Mir hat besonders das Fleisch vom Hauptgang und die Nachspeise geschmeckt. Auch der Service durch Frau Fischer und Marie ist spitze. Alles in allem war es ein wunderbarer Abend.

Very nice location in Nuremberg's old town at the foot of the castle. Very good Franconian cuisine and very nice, courteous service! The homemade lemonade was very tasty and so was the food.

From the outside it's a small, inconspicuous restaurant that's been around for a few years, but the inside is also rather plain. Some dishes might already be out of stock, but that shows to me that things are still being cooked fresh here and when they're gone, they're gone! We have been there 5 times now and have also ordered to pick up a few times, always fresh and simply delicious! There is also a small, inconspicuous beer garden, perfect for the summer but you have to be quick. The side salad is simply vinegar and oil but still really tasty! The schnitzel / cordon bleu is nicely fried in clarified butter - it looks fantastic as well as it tastes! We have been there several times but we will go there more often. Este es un pequeño y lindo restaurante. Creo que había más lugareños que turistas. Cada uno tomó un vaso de Riesling seco. Mi esposa tenía el cerdo asado, que incluía una deliciosa salsa y grandes y ligeras tortitas de papa. Tenía el pavo, que se cortaba más como un filete que en rodajas, servido con patatas pequeñas y verduras. Ambos disfrutamos de nuestras comidas. La cena costó alrededor de $ 75 (convertido de euros).
