In this extraordinary and special ostrich you can enjoy delicious, regional home cooking. Especially during the (pre-)Christmas period, the restaurant becomes a spectacle due to the very loving decoration. Highly recommended!

Die Speisekarte bietet für jeden etwas (auch vegetarisch und vegan) und nicht nur das, was man ohnehin überall bekommt. Bei vielen Gerichten gibt es auch kleinere Portionen, was gekennzeichnet ist, ebenso die Gerichte, die regional sind. Wir hatten den Wildschweinbraten mit Knödeln und Salat sowie den Zwiebelrostbraten mit Röstkartoffeln und Salat. Beides war genau so, wie gewünscht. Der Braten zart und lecker und der Zwiebelrostbraten auf den Punkt medium well. Es wurde darauf hingewiesen, dass man gerne noch Röstkartoffeln haben könne, wenn man noch möchte und auch zusätzlich Soße zum Braten wurde angeboten, was wir gerne annahmen, weil es so lecker war.
Rundum gelungen und ein sehr freundlicher Service.

Very tasty food l. The roast was perfect. However, the map remained in the 80s. But that's also part of the charm. It was completely full at 6pm on a Sunday. Prices are top. The staff is a bit more “villagey”. A bit rough but goal-oriented.
The four of us ate here and had a hearty meal with dessert and coffee. Since only a third of the seats were occupied, we stayed seated longer and talked without ordering because it was already 10 p.m. When the waitress treated us very unfriendly, we decided to leave. It's a shame because my husband and I were in the restaurant for the first time. So it was the last time for us.
The quality is no longer as good since the change of ownership.
Service staff loudly gossip about other guests, unfortunately not very professionally.
It's a shame, we used to love going to the shooter.
