Gasthof zum Stern in Lichtenstein

We went to the Gasthof zum Stern today with the whole family – as always, it was wonderful! I had the Michelspfännle (a type of pan-fried dish), my wife and parents had the Senner-Schnitzel (a type of schnitzel), and the children had schnitzel – everything was excellent and absolutely delicious. You can tell that they cook with heart here. The service was as warm and welcoming as ever; you immediately feel at home. It's so nice that a restaurant like this still exists – we'll definitely be back! 🍽️🌟

Great place, simply awesome, best food in Unterhausen

We've been going there for several years now. The food's taste and quality are simply indescribable. One of the best restaurants. The service staff is incredibly polite and prompt. There's hardly any long wait time. It simply deserves five stars in the region.

At the Gasthof zum Stern, you immediately feel welcome. This is not only due to the friendly smile you are greeted with, but also to the warm, uncomplicated atmosphere. The terrace is a little sanctuary of happiness. You sit outside, admire the beautiful surroundings, and simply let the day flow. Add to that the cuisine, which is honest and good, no frills, but delicious dishes made fresh and with heart. The staff is attentive without constantly getting in the way. You can tell they love their guests. All in all: It's a place where you enjoy eating and sitting. And I leave with the firm intention of returning soon.

We've been visiting the Gasthof zum Stern for over 30 years and can say with complete conviction that it's always been a very special place for us! We recently celebrated a 70th birthday here, and it was simply perfect. The team did everything to make the day unforgettable. From our first visit, we were thrilled with the quality of the food, and that hasn't changed since. The food is excellently prepared, fresh, and simply delicious! Every dish is a delight, and the selection offers something for everyone. The staff is always attentive and courteous. We appreciate the personal service, which makes us feel special every time. The employees are friendly, helpful, and make every visit a special experience. The Stern has also handled the generational change that took place years ago well, and the quality has remained true to its roots. It's impressive to see how traditions are preserved while incorporating fresh ideas. For us, the Gasthof zum Stern is not just a restaurant, but a place full of memories and culinary highlights. We look forward to many more years of visiting this wonderful inn! Highly recommended!

The warm evening ambience allows for enjoyable consumption. The waitresses were very friendly and accommodating. They responded well to our needs. But a fatal statement can be made about food. The relationship between price, quantity and quality is a paradox in itself. The quality is "excellent" and may impress the simple clientele, while the locals are impressed by unseasoned dishes and are moved by bland enjoyment. But this is not enough for the balance sheet out of the bag. The quantity is contradictory to the price mentioned. This development, which one experiences when the food arrives, does not have a benevolent effect on the sound and harmony of the individual. Waitresses were nice👍. My experience can be compared to a nice hike with good friends, where after the first few steps you realize that you are in Berlin Kreuzberg.🫡

Waren hier mit 11 Personen angemeldet, das Essen war durchweg hervorragend auch das Personal war sehr nett. Aber: Es wurde ein Aufschlag von 10 Euro berechnet weil die 11. Person erkrankt ist und das bei 10 zahlenden Gästen. Genauso Aufpreis von 1,50 Euro wenn ich die Beilagen (Pommes oder Spätzle) ändere. Schade eigentlich ☹️

Auch nach 24 Stunden reserviert krank über Nacht. Angerufen um 7:20 Uhr. Mittags um 13:30 Uhr zum Essen kommen. (4 statt 5 Personen) musste eine Person Gebühr von 10€ bezahlen. Das bei einem Umsatz von über 200€ zu Viert. Gastfreundlichkeit geht anders.

Every year we eat Christmas goose at Stern. The goose tastes first-class, very well prepared, this also applies to the side dishes and sauces. The starter and dessert rounded everything off perfectly. The service is relaxed and attentive. All requests for drinks, sauces and side dishes are fulfilled immediately. The atmosphere is uncomplicated. A large guest room with lots of space, very pleasant. We will visit again next year! That was a wonderful evening! Many thanks to the team at Gasthof zum Stern!

Once again we were at Stern for a family celebration and, as always, we were looked after attentively. The food, starting with the salad with delicious salad dressing, through main courses and side dishes, as well as perfectly cooked vegetables, is always a feast and tastes excellent. A high chair with coloring sheets and pencils was provided for the toddler in our group. We'll be back.

5 stars!! From the welcome to dessert. Many thanks to the whole team, especially the really top-notch service. So many other restaurants could do a really good job here :) We made a relatively spontaneous reservation for 14 people (including 6 children), and what we were able to experience was simply top! A separate table was set up for the kids, the food was delicious and the price was absolutely fair. Please continue like this. Thanks!!

The food tasted very good, the salad was very fresh. However, we found it a bit too expensive. There were also a lot of flies in the dining room, which bothered us. The service was very friendly. :)

I went for the first time to this restaurant and I have to say I was a bit disappointed. I totally understand that in Germany everybody takes their time to eat but to wait for an hour for dinner it was a little bit too much . Otherwise the attitude of the waitress was kind of rude and not respectful, she forgot part of the order and then she reply as if it was our fault. They really need to work in their customer service or in their team in the restaurant because even if the food was good (a bit more expensive than in other restaurants) this is not the correct behavior to have towards costumers

Unfortunately we sat there for a long time without being served. Even after we got the menus ourselves, no one wanted to take the order. That's not possible, especially given the very high prices for this area. That disappointed us a bit.

Each of us enjoyed our food very much. The portions are generous and attempts have been made to accommodate health-related changes. Vegetarian is possible, vegan is difficult. The exceptionally friendly service probably picks up every guest. We recommend !!

Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt nicht. Alle Gerichte sind zu hochpreisig, z.B. eine Portion Spargel mit Kräuterflädle, Sauce Hollandaise für 31 €, möchte man ein Stück Kalbfleisch dazu kostet das Gericht 41,50 €. Vegetarische Gerichte kosten zwischen knapp unter 20€ bis zu knapp 24€. Die Spinatknödel waren steinhart, man musste diese mit dem Messer schneiden, normalerweise zerteilt man diese mit Löffel oder Gabel.

A fixture in Lichtenstein, great food, great staff and both the outdoor and indoor areas are very inviting. Highly recommended, regardless of whether you are a small group or a wedding party, you are in good hands here.

We were invited to a birthday party at Stern and felt very comfortable there. The exceptionally friendly and courteous service leaves nothing to be desired 👍 The quality of the food was excellent and particularly pleasing: seasonal vegetables, in an unusual variety. Everything delicately seasoned - absolutely wonderful. The ambience isn't quite perfect: the room seems a bit "yesterday" and is too cluttered with a massive, dark buffet and a very large grandfather clock. And the presentation in run-of-the-mill soup bowls didn't do justice to the excellent soup, the same goes for the salad, which couldn't be presented attractively on a mini plate - but that didn't really detract from the enjoyment. The main course and dessert, however, were served very attractively on beautiful porcelain. Our conclusion: unreservedly recommended 👍

The food is ok, unfortunately you can't give a better rating, the menu I ate was ok in terms of price, but the quality can be rated as ok at best. The cheese patties in the main course can really be made better without much effort, but the dessert didn't taste good. A note about service: If several guests are sitting at the table and some of them are still eating, the other part cannot be cleared away. That is not how it works!!!

Wir hatten vergangene Woche ein Familienfest. Wir haben wie immer mega lecker gegessen und wurden wie gewohnt super bedient.

Es ist sooo schön anzusehen wie die Mädels in ihren Dirndln aussehen. Und soo dermaßen freundlich! Und nicht gespielt.. Mein ich!

Wir wurden sehr freundlich von Frau Irina Blötscher & Fr. Maier empfangen. Auch unsere Freunde & Gäste wurden sehr herzlich und freundlich in Empfang genommen. Der Service und Speisen waren zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit. Auch der Wirt Stephan Blötscher ließ es sich nicht nehmen sich persönlich zu erkundigen ob alles gepasst hat. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!

Super nette Bedienungen. Das Essen war sehr lecker (Sennerschnitzel) Änderungswünsche wurden umgehend angenommen. Preis-Leistung war super. Auch der Beilagensalat war noch ein richtiger Salat und nicht nur 3 Blätter Blattsalat. Auch die Salatplatte mit Pute war super. Fazit, ich war das erste, aber sicher nicht das letzte Mal da.

Begeistert! Waren heute Abend mit einer größeren Gruppe essen… Ich gebe 10/10 Punkten! Schwäbische und internationale Küche sehr appetitlich fürs Auge und den Gaumen. Besonders in Erinnerung bleibt eine Beilage: habe schon viele hausgemachte Spätzle in meinem Leben gegessen, aber die hier sind Endstufe!!

Wir haben heute nur kurz auf der Durchreise mit unseren beiden Kindern dort angehalten. So ein Familien-/Kinderfreundliches Gasthaus haben wir (leider) noch selten erlebt!! Für die Kinder wurde extra eingedeckt und die Kinder-Speisekarte kann mit den mitgelieferten Holzstiften direkt ausgemalt werden... Im Außenbereich gibt es einen kleinen Sandkasten inkl Sandelzeug und es gibt einen Raum zum Wickeln (Wickeltisch und Waschbecken!) Hier wurde einfach an alles gedacht! Das Ganze wurde durch einen super Service und leckeres Essen abgerundet :) Wir werden das Gasthaus zu 100 Prozent weiterempfehlen und kommen bei Gelegenheit auf jeden Fall wieder vorbei!!

Sehr leckeres Essen, lediglich ein paar Scheiben Brot ( gerne das sehr leckere selbstgebackene) zum Salat wären nett. Service sehr zuvorkommend, insbesondere auch die mutmaßlich jungen Auszubildenden. War ein Zufallsfund, empfehlen wir aber gerne weiter und freuen uns auf das nächste Mal!

wahnsinnig was für ein Lokal dieses kleine Dorf hat! klasse Speisen, alles was wir gegessen haben war spitze! und dafür gebe ich sehr gerne ein paar Euros mehr aus! die Bedienungen sind alle sehr nett und freundlich gewesen! ein Punkt Abzug weil die Toiletten nicht zu so einem Spitzenlokal passen. die Toiletten sind zwar sehr sauber, aber sind altmodisch und nicht mehr zeitgemäß. ist aber nur meine Meinung, evtl kann man die Toiletten auch nicht baulich verändern. aaaaaber, und das ist ja das wichtigste : das Essen ist das beste was ich in letzter Zeit gegessen habe! und das zählt!

Ich bin öfter mit meiner Familie hier essen gewesen. Es war eigentlich immer alles gut. Das Essen war immer lecker und die Preise waren angemessen. Heute wollte ich mit meiner Frau ein gemütlicher Abend haben, wir haben Tisch reserviert und sind pünktlich erschienen. Ca. 10 min. Später haben wir bestellt und die beilagesalate sind auch kurz danach gekommen. Auf dem Hauptgang haben wir jedoch 1,5 Stunden gewartet!! Nachdem ich die Kellnerin gefragt habe, wo das Essen steckt, war sie sehr unfreundlich und mit gehobene Stimme geantwortet, dass ich nicht der einzige Gast hier bin und ich warten muss!!! -Ich war in dieser Restaurant beim vollen Belegung mehrmals und müsste nie so lange warten!! Chefkoch hat Urlaub?Gekündigt? Das Essen hat auch anders ausgesehen und geschmeckt -Ich habe sie gebeten ruhig zu bleiben und um Verständnis gebeten. Leider ohne Erfolg. Ich wollte mit dem Wirt reden, auch ohne Erfolg ( ist andere Kellnerin gekommen)zum Schluss hat sich die unverschämte Kellnerin als Chefin ausgegeben ( was nicht stimmt)und hat gemeint, dass wir nicht zahlen müssen, aber künftig wird sie keinen freien Tisch für uns haben!!! Ich habe trotzdem 50€ da gelassen, das war mir alles zu niveaulos! Schade ☹️

Wir kommen schon über 10 Jahre her. Das Essen ist immer sehr gut. Z.B.Wurstsalat mit Bratkartoffeln, Schwinefilet mit Pfifferlingen etc. Zu trinken gibts meisten Most aus Äpfeln und Kirschen. Mmmhhh. Für die Enkelkinder war mit Malsachen eingedeckt und sie konnten im Sandkasten spielen.

Sehr schönes Lokal. Wirklich freundliche Angestellte und Inhaber die immer den Blick für alles nötige haben. Die Gartenanlage ist der Hammer und das sitzen inmitten des Grüns an den großen runden Tischen ist einfach nur toll. Essen sehr lecker und sehr fair was die Preise anbelangt 👍🏻 wir kommen immer wieder gerne ☺️

Nette und schnelle Bedienung. Gutes Essen. Leider gibt es überall Gäste, die sich nicht von ihrem Smartphone trennen können und sogar über Freisprecher telefonieren. Mit 200 km/h durch die Kinderstube gerauscht. Da ist das Restaurant aber machtlos.

Das Essen war hervorragend! Schönes Wetter, also im Garten essen, gemütlich. Die Bedienungen waren sehr aufmerksam und haben ihr Trinkgeld verdient. Das Essen war sein Geld wert. Wir waren rundherum zufrieden! Empfehlenswert.

Auf der Heimfahrt sind wir hier spontan zu viert eingekehrt. Freundlicher Empfang und sehr aufmerksame Bedienung. Das Essen kam, nach kurzer Wartezeit, toll angerichtet an den Tisch. Nicht nur optisch sondern vor allem geschmacklich hat das Essen (in meinem Fall, Sennerschnitzel) überzeugt. Wir sind uns einig und werden gerne wieder kommen, alleine um die tolle Terrasse zu testen.
