Seehof in Schluchsee

Very friendly service, great view and food that was very good in terms of quality and taste. There is something for everyone on the menu, even guests who only speak English are served politely here. A very good experience when it comes to restaurants and a good example of not resting on the fact that a large number of guests come anyway due to the convenient location. Keep it up!

This restaurant alone is a reason to go to Schluchsee. Always good food. Always a friendly welcome. The boss still knows you even though you haven't been there for a year. Simply great!

Best gravy in the world! Services are also extremely competent and friendly. Even the vegi dish was incredibly good. Hats off.

Just had a drink on the terrace in the great weather. Everything makes a great and clean impression. The woman, I think it was the boss, was extremely friendly. Next time I will come there for dinner with my wife.

Delicious food with incredibly friendly service! From the train station (Schluchsee) it is a 4-minute walk. Ideal! Our 3-year-old daughter was also received very warmly. She got a coloring page and they also brought her food extra early so that we could sit quietly for a while. Price-quality ratio is also good! Highly recommended!

Hotel at Schluchsee, skiing at Feldberg and dinner here in the evening. You can't do anything wrong except roll over on the slopes. The food is simply great, extremely tasty and reasonably priced 👌 Highly recommend the meat cakes.

The service was very friendly. I was rather disappointed with the food; the lamb's lettuce was too salty, as were the raw vegetable salads There was some flavor in the sauce that came with the herb mushrooms that I found unpleasant until the evening. All in all ok, but not outstanding

Wow! We stayed at the Seehof twice during our stay in Schluchsee. We were always served in a very friendly, attentive and competent manner. The aperitif and the food were beautifully presented and simply a poem! We were simply thrilled with the whole package. Everything is just right here. From the atmosphere to the service to the kitchen. We will definitely be happy to come back here and treat ourselves to more delicacies from the kitchen.

Here I was greeted with an exceptionally warm and cheerful welcome with my dog. The service is simply great. My meal was also excellent, the Viennese veal schnitzel was as tender as butter. Here everything from A to Z fits together very harmoniously. Thank you!

We showed up on Saturday evening without registering and got a table straight away. Despite the sign pointing out that there was a lack of service staff, the ordering and the time it took to eat were within normal limits. The food itself is a poem. My wife had a (real!) Viennese schnitzel with fries, my humble veal cream schnitzel with fresh mushrooms in cream sauce and spaetzle - great! The sauce belongs to the upper class and went down your throat with pleasure with the tender meat and the wonderful spaetzle. The espresso afterwards was just as good and topped things off. I would have liked to have a starter soup and a dessert too, but it was already plenty. The price/performance ratio is absolutely appropriate. You can't go out for a good meal for €20 these days. All in all, we spent less than €70 plus a tip; we've had worse for more money. Top recommendation!

Today we had our last dinner before we left, but we had already been there twice before and we have to say: "This is the best food in Schluchsee"! The steaks are on point, the spaetzle and vegetables are not overcooked and the braised beef melts in your mouth 😋 The boss and the two young employees are extremely nice and accommodating. Simply personable 😀 Many kind regards from the “pot” 😉 We will definitely come back to you :)

Avons choisi ce restaurant pour la terrasse avec vue lac. Avons été déçus par le repas malgré les commentaires très positifs ( anciens certes) : rapport qualité prix pas génial, pas de salades servies avec les plats comme souvent en Forêt Noire mais prix plus élevés que la moyenne. Pas beaucoup de choix en végétal ou végétarien. Pâtes aux girolles peu goûteuses, soupe froide de concombre minimaliste pour un prix qui ne l’est pas. Personnel ( patronne ? ) néanmoins très sympathique et rigolote.

Very tasty food and very nice service

my partner and I were on a bike tour and really wanted some spätzle and other hearty Schwarzwald fare after a long day. Even though the tables on the terrace were all reserved, the hostess encouraged us to take a seat, and was very friendly and welcoming. The food was just what we needed – filling and flavourful – and not too expensive given the location. Well worth it.

Completely satisfied! The meat for both the onion roast and the Wiener Schnitzel was juicy and super tender. The lady in service was also extremely nice and simply put you in a good mood with her singsong voice. If, like us, you can sit on the terrace shortly before sunset and look at the beautiful Schluchsee, where you were paddling just before, it was a completely successful evening ☺️

Beautiful terrace, excellent customer service and tasty food. Choice for lactose intolerant vegetarians was very limited hence my 4* rating but as I occasionally eat fish, I confirm the salmon minus sauce was very tasty and good portion size.

We really liked it here. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures of the food but everything tasted wonderful and the service was courteous and friendly.

I made reservations in advance for 4 people by phone. Maria was extremely friendly and reserved a nice table for us by the window. Our friends arrived a little later due to heavy rain and were greeted in a very friendly and helpful manner (they were soaked). The food was great and we felt very comfortable. Since our visit came by motorbike, we were offered to stay longer than opening time as it was raining heavily again. It was a great stay from start to finish with great service and great food. We'd love to come back. Hospitality really comes to life here. Thank you for the lovely stay. Very ! to recommend.

We were there spontaneously for lunch. Super nice service! Everything was great. Food was very tasty. Portinas were good. Everything happened very quickly. We would love to come back when we are in the area again.

Very warm and friendly welcome from the hostess after an afternoon of swimming with the children. Unfortunately there was no more room outside. We ate delicious schnitzel and the children ate super good chicken nuggets. Unfortunately we didn't have time for dessert anymore, the children were too tired.

Wir wurden super nett empfangen, obwohl wir keine Reservierung hatten, hat man sich bemüht uns einen Tisch zu organisieren, an dem man auch den Kinderwagen stellen konnte (da unser Kind noch nicht im Hochstuhl sitzen kann). Vorspeise, Hauptgang und Dessert waren super. Und der Service war ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend.

We ate at this great restaurant and absolutely loved it! The food was not only delicious but also freshly prepared, which you could taste in every bite. Although the selection is somewhat limited, it represents excellent quality. There really is something for everyone here, and the ability to vary the size of the dishes is a real plus. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our visit a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The feel-good atmosphere in the restaurant is simply unbeatable. I can't wait to come back!

The menu is small but nice for meat eaters; Vegan or vegetarian possibly on request. The service is not intrusive, but attentive. You sit on the terrace or inside with large windows and a view of Schluchsee. We will definitely come back on our next vacation! 😃

The restaurant stands out in terms of friendliness and food. Price-performance is right. The price is a little higher, but the food is very good value. We were very welcome in the restaurant with our dog and not just tolerated. The staff is exceptionally courteous and you feel very comfortable. The food is excellent. Food quality was good and staff was friendly. However, it took very long time. They were short of staff members and running with shorter menu (with limited vegetarian options) but views from restaurent are wonderful.

We had dinner there during the weekday evening during Easter week. Reservations worked great using the form on the homepage a week in advance. The welcome was warm and the service was excellent. We were there with two children and 5 adults. As a starter we had carpaccio, burrata and the broth. Everything was very good, tasty and well seasoned. The kids absolutely loved their schnitzel! The other main courses (rump steak, Viennese schnitzel, homemade pasta, veal cheeks) were also really very good and generous portions. The crowning finale was the crème brulee and the vanilla ice cream with pumpkin seeds. Sooo delicious. Absolute recommendation from us and we will definitely come back next time on vacation!

Very good food and very, very nice service. Here you can eat well and feel good. When the weather is right, you'll certainly have a good view of the lake - there's also a terrace with a view of it. Unfortunately we were there in the wrong weather to enjoy this view. It was also possible to respond flexibly to the fact that a person had particular food allergies - a tasty “solution” was quickly found. Highly recommended!

We were there in March and had a sunny day. It's nice to sit on the terrace with a view of the lake. Parking is free. The Black Forest cherry cake was fresh and very, very tasty.

Unbelievable good! The food was very tasty. Typically Black Forest and still something special. The prices are a little higher, but you get large portions for your money. The service was terrific. Very accommodating, friendly and quick. The restaurant looks inviting and friendly.
