Our weekend at the mill was simply fantastic! The rooms were great – super comfortable and sparkling clean. The on-site team is warm and competent, and the jacuzzi was pure relaxation. The breakfast left nothing to be desired, and the highlight was the unforgettable dinner in the 2-star restaurant. We'll definitely be back!

If you want to avoid the tourist spot Schluchsee and are looking for traditional German cuisine, the restaurant is an absolute must! Totally nice atmosphere both inside and outside. Very modern furnishings inside and lots of wood etc, which makes you feel very comfortable. There was a large selection of food, including for vegetarians. The zucchini cordon bleu in particular is a successful change from the other veggie offerings! And what’s more, it was so delicious! The vegetables were also very fresh and very tasty! It's best to make a reservation, although we tried to make a reservation because it was full. Then we went there at 7 p.m. and still got a table! :)

The service was very friendly. I was rather disappointed with the food; the lamb's lettuce was too salty, as were the raw vegetable salads There was some flavor in the sauce that came with the herb mushrooms that I found unpleasant until the evening. All in all ok, but not outstanding

Price-performance ratio is completely fine. Large portions and very tasty. Small menu (which is generally not a bad thing). However, three dishes were “sold out”. No ketchup for the kids. Service very friendly.

It's a nice place but not busy and has issues with staffing. Food is superb

A pity. Because of the previous comment, I made a special reservation. (About 1 1/2 hours before) When we arrived at the restaurant the menu was brought to us without any further comment. (pasta dishes and pizza). About 10 minutes later, when we wanted to order, the answer was that there was no more pizza. 😰 A real shame. Maybe you should say when you make your reservation that there is no longer any pizza.

Vegans will also find pizza without cheese here... for example, there is vegan gnocchi with vegetables and tomato sauce, very tasty!! 💚🍅 The service was very fast and very friendly! Gladly again. And dogs are also welcome 🐶
