Very unfriendly and inflexible. Too bad, never come back

Esse was very good, super nice staff and super nice view over Eningen from the terrace. What more could you want? We would love to come back.

Absolute disaster, it started with a call asking if there was still a table available for two. Then they said yes and hung up. It could have been for another date. Well, when we got there: we waited an eternity for the order to be taken, waited another eternity for the drinks to be delivered, and the cards were carelessly thrown at us from the table next door where guests were also sitting. Now we have found the food we shouldn't have at all. When I asked at some point whether we could also order our food, we were bluntly told that we should get in touch earlier and why we were waiting so long to order. We assumed that we would be asked what we would like to eat when the tickets were picked up and we were in a not-so-cheap restaurant. Then we paid for the drinks and left. It was absolute horror. We then drove on to another restaurant and met people there who also ended up there because they seemed to be in the same situation an hour before us. Conclusion: The ox used to be good, today it's forgettable. It's a shame. .

Durch einen großen Zufall haben wir dieses wirklich tolle Restaurant entdeckt. Man sieht es nicht wirklich, da keinerlei Aussenwerbung angebracht ist und es in den Keller hinunter geht. Schade drum. Von der freundlichen Begrüßung vom Kellner, dem netten Ambiente und der Auswahl an Speisen waren wir begeistert. Sehr aufmerksam wurden wir bedient und das Essen einfach ein Traum. Es scheint als wenn nur Hotelgäste mit uns im Restaurant waren, den über den Ausseneingang, wie wir, kam keiner. Wie gesagt, keine Aussenwerbung und in einer Seitenstraße, wo man solch ein hervorragendes Restaurant nicht erwarten würde.

An excellent rural restaurant where the customer is still king. Here you can enjoy excellent food at fair prices.

Disastrous tenant, never go there again. At a youth game day (starting at 9 a.m., according to the opening times he doesn't open until 3 p.m.) he complains about the sales for the youth fund and that he doesn't make any money. At every other club this also works with sales. The youth can't help it that too few people come to him.

The innkeeper is already worth the price of admission. Good Swabian cuisine.
