We were there on a Sunday and received a warm welcome. Although there were only two dishes to choose from as a daily recommendation, the quality was absolutely convincing. The owners Geli and Markus are very friendly and ensure a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. The atmosphere is cozy all around - the lovingly selected interior design in particular contributes to this.
I ate a homemade asparagus soup as a starter and chose the roast suckling pig with bread dumplings, gravy and vegetables as my main course. For 15.80 euros, the price-performance ratio was great. As a sweet surprise, there was even a homemade mocha mousse from the kitchen – really delicious!
When the weather is good, the large outdoor area also invites you to linger. What's particularly nice is that dogs are also very welcome and receive just as friendly a welcome as their humans.
We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back!
Delicious Swabian home cooking in the living room. Cry well. GoSecco is super delicious. Always nice guests and conversations. Great service. Good value for money.
The inn impresses with its friendly and courteous staff. The ambience is rustic and designed in an unusual way - really an eye-catcher.
We ate asparagus with schnitzel and once with rump steak. Both were perfectly prepared. The taste of the food was excellent – a real treat for the palate.
The price-performance ratio is absolutely right here.
Unfortunately, I didn't finish the steak in the end, which wasn't well received by the staff - I'm sorry about that!🥰
A real insider tip for everyone who appreciates a special flair. If I lived nearby, I would be here regularly.
What a great local!
I like how it's set up! It has such a special feeling. I come from Thuringia and was visiting friends. This allowed me to visit the local. And what can I say? Sooooo friendly staff. The food is so incredibly delicious and the portions are simply huge! The price-performance ratio is unbeatably good! Big praise to the chef, but also to the very courteous waiter. A young man with long hair if I remember correctly. Keep it up! I will come again. 🤤🤤🤤
Really one of the best places I've ever eaten. 🫶🏻
Nice beer garden with a great ambience. Unfortunately the quaint tithe barn was closed. The two waitresses could hardly handle the rush. The cellar beer has run out. The meals were ok. But nothing special.
On May 1st, 2025, we were lucky enough to get two seats outside (without pre-booking) in bright sunshine. The menu is a delight. The service was perfect and the food was so good and beautifully prepared that I said hello to the kitchen. Any time and gladly again.
If you don't value a well-kept ambience, this is the place for you. Unfortunately there is no service anymore and you have to place your order via the “cash register”. The tables were also not cleared and so the used dishes and glasses from the previous guests were still on our table when we paid.
When we were there there weren't enough spritzer glasses and we had to wait over an hour for the simple meal (sausage salad with P. and baked sheep's cheese in tomato sauce). The food itself was ok, the sausage salad was probably cut by myself and the sheep's cheese was also good.
So if you're not in a hurry and don't value customer service, this is the place for you...for everyone else, there are plenty of alternatives.
