Great service and ambience, everyone who has to have a gluten-free breakfast, like me, can be happy, just ask when ordering. They have been offering gluten free bread for a few weeks now.

My wife and I came here for breakfast as part of a city trip and were very positively impressed - even if the menu suggests a female target group in terms of the colors and names of the dishes. 😉 The food itself was very tasty and I have rarely experienced such attentive and nice staff as here. Top!

Debbie was super nice and friendly and provided us with delicious cake in the afternoon and delicious tarte flambée in the evening.

Was there yesterday for the first time and probably the last time. The taste of the food itself was okay. But My girlfriend and I both had stomach cramps immediately after eating. We both had salad, but different, different dressing, etc.

We had dinner here and had a solid experience. First of all, the restaurant is very stylishly decorated and comfortable to sit in. The food was good, but we forgot a side dish we ordered. Since within an hour no service staff came by and asked if everything was okay, let alone even walked past that could have been addressed, we ignored it for the time being. After the main course, which had already been eaten half an hour, we wanted to order dessert. The service just said, “the kitchen has been closed for 15 minutes, sorry”. A bit annoying, since this could have been pointed out (20 minutes before or so). Finally, the bill came with the supplement on it and, when we pointed it out, the statement “if you had said that earlier, I could have given you something on the house”. No apology and why no “then I’ll take something off your bill now…”?! We will consider coming again and were a bit disappointed.

Online table reservation worked great. Then the four of us had a delicious meal and spent the evening comfortably with a glass of wine. The young lady in service was just great, high praise. Keep it up and we'll appear more often⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very nice atmosphere, with appropriate music, lighting and decoration. The yuzu soda was really tasty and, like the meals, generously portioned. The caper sauce was very intense and was well complemented by the mild mashed potatoes. The tarte flambée was delicious and tasted somewhat reminiscent of a falafel wrap. Overall, really good food, just nothing exceptional or memorable that it needed for the 5*. The service was super friendly and approachable.

We actually wanted to take the 2 for 1 breakfast/main course offer with the Neotaste app, but unfortunately that didn't work out, but that wasn't necessarily the restaurant's fault. We were a bit disappointed, but then we ordered two dishes anyway. The portion was far too small for the high price, simply disproportionate for what you get. We ordered the Avocado Nest and received a sliced ​​warm avocado with 2 small poached eggs and 2 very lean small slices of bread. Unfortunately, far too little bread for a whole avocado. In my opinion it's just not justified and I'm wondering what the price is made up of? Drinks are also very expensive and not particularly good.

We were here for dinner. We weren't impressed with the food, the drinks were ok. The noise level was very high. It's probably more of a place to meet up with friends and drink a delicious cocktail or mixed drink.

We didn't try the food. But the card promises a lot. The cocktail (I had Pina Colada) was not as expected. It was made with coconut syrup and cream. The rum left a slightly bitter note. The lemonade and cocktails are filled to 50% with ice. It doesn't have to be that way either. But what I found bad were the plastic straws in all the drinks. Aren't they banned across the EU since 2021? There really are enough alternatives!

And what surprised us: Single-use plastic products such as straws have been banned across Europe since July 3, 2021. These often end up in water and cause marine animals, for example, to die miserably. The animals mistake these products for food. At Wilma Wunder, however, they are in every lemonade and every cocktail. Why?

Visiting in larger company. Ambience great but unfortunately a bit loud. Service very good, nice, attentive and friendly staff. The food (and we had over 20 different dishes) wasn't special and really wasn't a hit. The portions in particular were very manageable and, especially with the spinach noodles on the vegetable plate, they were more like a starter, but at the price of a main course. I was here for breakfast with a friend. The breakfast menu is extensive and has something for everyone. Whether hearty, sweet or a mix of both. The service is very nice and relaxed. Afterwards we had an Aperol outside and sat comfortably in this beautiful courtyard. Can only be recommended. We will definitely become repeat offenders here.

The Wilma Wunder is centrally located on the market square in Karlsruhe. The restaurant is really beautifully and comfortably furnished. You can feel very comfortable here. Service: The service also contributed greatly to our feeling of well-being during our visit. We were in contact with several colleagues, all of whom were very hard-working and loved children. I'm always happy when creative dishes appear on a menu, especially since many locations don't dare to use Brussels sprouts as the main ingredient. Since Brussels sprouts and shepherd's cheese inherently have a lot of flavor of their own, the dish was almost a no-brainer. I also enjoyed the dish, but the pomegranate seeds were a bit underrepresented and were lost in the overall impression. - 4/5 Price-performance ratio: The portion size was actually my only problem. I'm not one of those people who eat quickly or expect XXL portions, but with "Kugelrund & Bunt" I had to be careful that I didn't finish with four spoonfuls and then the family continued eating alone. For me, the dish was more of an appetizer. Explicitly naming oven-fresh bread on the menu and then putting half a slice on your plate also seems strange. If the children hadn't left over their meals, I would have left hungry. Then €12.90 is a lot as a price. It may be justified based on the products, but that's no use to me if I don't get full from it. In my opinion, labeling this dish as an appetizer would be appropriate. - 2/5 Conclusion: "Wilma Wunder" is a great location for families or anyone who wants to spend a cozy evening in a beautiful atmosphere. The team is incredibly friendly and also looks after families with children in a very friendly manner. Super fancy furnishings. At first you're busy looking :D we had the Brussels sprouts with pomegranate cheese sauce and almond slivers. Totally interesting combination and very, very tasty! There was also a lavender lemonade and an Aperol. Finally, a Kaiserschmarrn, which was good but not great. You can do it but you don't have to. Nevertheless, absolute recommendation even for larger groups. The service was super nice and also very, very fast!

I was your guest twice while attending a conference at KIT. Everything was just right. Service is friendly, competent and fast. The food tasted great and the drinks were ice cold and refreshing. Vegans, veggies and meat eaters will find something delicious to eat here! It's great that there are still restaurants like this in Germany!

Hello, A week ago we were at Wilma Wunder for the first time. We had a great time sitting in front of the restaurant. The service was attentive and the food was really, really tasty. A successful evening. Now comes the reason why I'm writing the recession in the first place. We then visited the restaurant again yesterday with our grandson. It was very crowded. The service was a bit hectic and we had to wait a long time for our food. That was not recommended. The schnitzel is light-skinned, weak, comes with 5 fries and a bit of salad. Not comparable to the week before. The rest of the food wasn't any better. The price-performance ratio was not right at all. I was very disappointed, especially since my grandson was there and we didn't want to cause a fuss. It's better to have fewer guests and it's consistently good.

Four of us spontaneously had dinner here in the evening. First of all, the service. The specialists are very nice but take an extremely long time. We waited 20 minutes for drinks and other tables next to us were sometimes not served for an extremely long time. The ambience is nice. We sat outside. Now about the food. We had the Wiener Art Schnitzel twice for 19.90 each. The schnitzel wasn't big and wasn't particularly special either. The fries were really bad. Very very dry and from the oven, zero crispy. Unfortunately, everyone at the table confirmed this. Far too expensive for that. The other two had the cheese spaetzle, which were okay but not outstanding, and the salmon noodles, which didn't even come close to filling a woman for 15 euros. The drinks are also very expensive. I think 6 euros worth of wheat is way too much. All in all we won't be coming back. At least once in the evening. I've never tried the breakfast so I can't rate it. Update: Today I had lunch here again for work with other colleagues, about 10 of them. And unfortunately nothing has changed. Despite the different dish, it is the same as described above. Almost everyone gave me this feedback. I find that quite a shame.

First visit to Wilma Wunder in Karlsruhe. Nice location, we sat in the courtyard. The “wait to be seated” model was already in trouble. We had to wait for the usher, when the time came she pointed to a place halfway and left us standing to continue working through the little queue that had been created artificially and unnecessarily in a bored and unkind manner. Well-intentioned doesn't necessarily mean well-done. Card made small but original. They didn't have the first glass of wine they ordered, but the second one worked. I had “Melon King” with extra strips of turkey breast. Small portion but tastes good. The 6 narrow strips of turkey breast for +€6.50 were shocking - especially since they were dry and cold. Almost €30 for THAT meal? The second dish was spinach salmon noodles that sat under the convector for a while - the edges of the dumplings (= noodles) were partly hard and the whole food was lukewarm at most. The third meal was pasta with chickpea pesto which was good. The bottom line is that we had a nice meal but definitely didn't eat well for three of us for €85. Not worth repeating for us. Too bad! Unfortunately we didn't take any pictures, but it was nicely presented. The staff was quite young but not particularly warm or helpful.

Wilma Wunder – It’s a wonder this restaurant still exists! Our visit to the "Wilma Wunder" restaurant was supposed to be a pleasant experience for the whole family, but unfortunately lunch turned out to be a real disappointment. As soon as you enter the restaurant, you will notice the overloaded menu, which shines more with pseudo-witty sayings than with culinary highlights. The humor seems to be aimed specifically at housewives over 50, who will probably find amusement here. The average visitor, on the other hand, laboriously struggles through the pages of text to make a halfway sensible selection. The ambience of the restaurant tries desperately to appear “mega fancy” and “hip”, which unfortunately cannot hide the inferior quality of the food. The salad we ordered came with an unpleasant surprise: sand! (Pictures attached) A complaint resulted in neither a replacement nor a greeting from the kitchen - a clear indication of poor service and a lack of customer awareness. The portions that were ultimately served turned out to be far too average to be considered worth the money. A grown man has little chance of getting full here. The selection of really substantial dishes is more than poor, which ultimately reduces the menu to absurdity. In summary, lunch at "Wilma Wunder" was a prime example of how an ambitious idea can fail due to poor execution and lack of service. It's truly a "miracle" that this restaurant still exists. We definitely won't come back here!

Picked it out spontaneously and found it to be very good 😊 A rather inconspicuous entrance, next to the huge columns of the Evangelical City Church, leads to a cozy, sheltered inner courtyard and an atmospherically beautiful interior. The service was very quick and really attentive, the menu isn't oversized but everyone can find something and the prices are reasonable. We had a nice evening before our concert next door 😉 🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷 What a dream would be: Small selection of regional wines, perhaps only as specials, but you can only find that very rarely in franchise chains.

Went there today to drink tea and eat cake. Instead, I was showered with two glasses of Aperol because the waitress was acting clumsily and was thanked by the management as I was hoping for damage control. The only answer I got was: "We're only human. It happens to everyone sometimes. Please understand that." No towel to dry off, no offer, the bill is on the house. Nothing! Especially stupid if you're staying in a hotel like we were. Service desert Germany. It's a shame when respect is lost!!

I had a hair in my food. The plate was taken away from me in an unfriendly and soggy manner and brought back without any hair. There wasn't even an apology in it. The behavior of the service staff has not improved over the entire time. The egg white was almost completely liquid - poached looks different. The salad was old and soggy. The employees are partly running. with clothes full of holes. You obviously can't expect careful handling of food. First and last visit. It's a shame about the beautiful location, but I wouldn't eat anything there anymore.

I recently tried a Mojito cocktail, but it fell short of my expectations. The glass was mostly filled with ice, leaving very little room for the actual drink, which tasted like watered-down alcohol. Unfortunately, the staff seemed overwhelmed and too busy to attend to the customers properly. I had to go out of my way to find someone just to pay my bill. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

We had a cozy JGA breakfast there today and had a lovely stay with delicious food and attentive, friendly service in the great ambience of the inner courtyard. We went to Willmar Wunder once for breakfast and twice for lunch/dinner and I was thrilled! Price performance is definitely right. Everything is high quality and prepared with attention to detail. You can see the love in the menu. Great selection and something for everyone. Always happy to come to you! :)

We came following the good comments from Google Maps but personally I was disappointed. I had done a search to find a restaurant that served potato salad that was served with schnitzel and unlucky for me, they were out of potato salad! We had to choose between fries and spaetzle but being vegan, I had no choice and I had fries. Having ordered the vegan schnitzels, I found them too dry, the fries too big. I certainly didn't make the right choice, everything was too dry for me, perhaps for the vegan option, offer a vegan hot sauce on the side. The vegan starter (tomato and avocado tartare) was good, the pepper soup not very good but it's a very good idea to put vegetable chips in it, the non-vegetarian escalopes were appreciated by my family. I'm still waiting for the ketchup I asked for from the waiter. I had some in my bag, after 10 minutes of waiting for my ketchup to be requested from the waiter, so I used it to give a little flavor to my dish which was too dry. The staff is ok but a little cold. The interior of the restaurant is modern and beautiful. Sandbox and small outdoor games for young children. No special attention for children as written in a comment.

Unfortunately not good at all. We came for brunch and were disappointed. The menu is a bit thin for a restaurant that explicitly advertises breakfast and brunch. It was ordered anyway. Coffee and espresso arrived at our table carelessly and showered. This was followed by poached eggs with avocado and an extra portion of salmon (overpriced). Very unusual - the avocado was prepared warm. This makes it hardly edible in terms of sensory and taste. There was a great lack of understanding about it - even days later. At least we didn't have to wait long and the table was quickly free for the next guests. Yes, system catering, we recognized you.

It was my first time in the Wilma Wunder restaurant. Without great expectations...just test it out. And we were very disappointed! We order some water. We were brought dirty glasses with out-of-date lemon slices! I would even describe the food as a disgrace. Both in quality and in price! There was Wiener Schnitzel. Schnitzel was pre-made in the morning and then simply bathed in oil. Breading came off on its own and tasted rancid. Demanding almost 30 euros for this is arrogant and never justified! But the highlight that day was the boss there. He was discussing loudly with guests at a neighboring table. I had never seen a boss treat guests like that. It was like a movie. As we noticed, it was about truffle fries and that the guests weren't happy. The boss continues to answer loudly that you should pay and leave. Unfortunately, society currently reflects all of these scenes that we saw/experienced there. Nice atmosphere, with overpriced prices and a boss who is not allowed to perform such a job function. It's a shame for our visit but they won't see us there anymore.

Today we were guests at Willma Wunder KA for the first and last time. Meanwhile, we have never had this experience in a restaurant in our lives. Starting with an online menu that, according to the waiter, is not “up to date” to an overbearing and arrogant “manager” who has more than failed in his job. Briefly summarized: We all ordered schnitzel (Vienna and Viennese style). Side dishes with normal fries and once with truffle fries (that's what it says on the menu). When the food arrived, we were given schnitzel where the breading was soggy and had fallen apart. Watery gravy and in terms of taste it can't even be called schnitzel. The absolute highlight was the truffle fries! Normal fries that were covered with grated cheese and some herbs/flowers. We couldn't taste any truffles and visually there weren't any truffles in sight! We asked the waiter if these were the truffle fries. The answer then came that they are and have always been there in Willma Wunder. Since it was our first time there, we couldn't do anything with the statement. For us, truffle fries are fries with grated/grated truffles and at least taste like truffles. We were told that these fries are drizzled with truffle oil. When we asked for the bills we said that we didn't pay for the truffle fries (+€4.50 surcharge) and that he could happily bill them as normal fries. Since we didn't get truffle fries here. We should clarify this with the “manager”. The manager in question noticed this straight away and approached us with a condescending, arrogant and loud tone because he noticed that we didn't want to pay the extra charge for the fries. Instead of taking the matter first and listening to it carefully, he immediately became loud and explained that that's just how truffle fries are. We asked him what he meant by truffles. It came back that he didn't answer such rhetorical questions. It led to a heated discussion that didn't have to be that way. Especially not from a “manager” who runs the restaurant or even people. Ultimately, every restaurant depends on its guests and their satisfaction. A “manager” should first and foremost ensure that the guests are satisfied and if there are complaints, also respond to criticism and not threaten to call the police on a guest if they don’t pay for everything! We have never experienced such a way in which guests are treated and it borders on impudence that is similar! We announced this recession to the manager but even that didn't bother him. That was the only and last time at Wilma Wunder KA. The following applies to all guests: you won't get any quality food there and what's more, you'll get service that has nothing to do with service! It's best not to ask anything, complain or give constructive criticism. Neither the owner nor the manager cares. The main thing is that money is earned - no matter how. Scaring guests away in such an ugly way is unique! Two tips. 1.: changing an online map can be done within minutes! Declaration deception/misleading when it comes to food should be taken seriously (this doesn't just apply to mandatory allergens!) If it says truffles, porcini mushrooms or anything else somewhere, then write down what exactly it is! Tip 2: The owner should change the “manager” if he cares about his guests and his business. But since you're not interested in the guests' tips anyway (which is also what the manager said), just keep it up...Wilma Wunder? Yes, nothing surprises us anymore - just weak! One more thing about the manager: her salary is paid by the guests 😉 The manager didn't want to give us any contact details for the owner, even found out we didn't get an answer from the owner, maybe CONCEPFAMILYFranchise AG is interested in how their company feels in their name

Bad food. Bad service. A bottle of mineral water 8 euros. Dubai Prices in KA!! Stay where the pepper grows. Banaus!!

Very big, very loud, very chic, quite expensive. The food is tasty and the concept of not supporting mass livestock farming is laudable. If you're 30+, like a bit of chic and have enough money, this is the place for you.

Super delicious breakfast, it costs a little more, but together with the great location (the inner courtyard is great in summer) it's definitely worth a visit.

Unfortunately, I was completely disappointed with the service today.

Unfortunately I have to revise my review: 1. Unfortunately I don't find the selection for lunch/dinner satisfactory. :( The tarte flambée was served cold (and that's not so nice on a cold, rainy autumn day) and topped very, very sparingly. Even salt, pepper and sour cream/cream cheese were saved - not to mention the toppings. And cold dough with raw zucchini and spring onions just doesn't taste good. In general, the selection of warm food was very sparse. The cookie dough for dessert was wafer-thin, WAY too sweet and also tasted like a ready-made mix and had a very sticky consistency. Price performance is simply not given for the main course and dessert. Everything was beautifully presented to the eye and the service was friendly. You have to hand it to Wilma. 2. We have had breakfast here several times now. The breakfast is really tasty and beautifully presented. However, we had to wait 45 minutes (!!) for our order. This was very annoying, especially since we could see that the tables around us were served much more courteously and quickly. The bread served was served cold on the second visit and freshly toasted on the first visit. There is no consistent quality here. It's a total shame, so we don't know whether we'll come here for brunch again. 3. We sat at the round table near the entrance with a 2 week old baby. Since it was a cold, rainy day, we asked several times to keep the door to the terrace closed. There was no one on the terrace anyway. Despite our request, the door was opened several times - including by the staff (even though there is a main entrance/exit) and no care was taken to close it again. The cold air kept blowing in and sitting quickly became uncomfortable. I had to get up and close the door every 10 minutes.

25 minutes of waiting and we were simply ignored. We were allowed to choose a table and had registered with the waiter beforehand. Guests who came after us were served before us. We tried several times to draw attention to ourselves and then left for 30 minutes - without drinks and without food.

Delicious food, the breakfast platter is more than sufficient I think the prices of the drinks are a bit high

I ordered a Pasta Wilma from the lunch menu. What arrived were six (!) flat dumplings and six small cocktail tomatoes. You can count them yourself in the picture. Given the quantity, I would only serve it as an appetizer. Taste would have been good if not for the terribly salty sauce. It really wasn't edible anymore. I think it's incredibly cheeky to serve something like that for €11.90. I expected a meal, not tiny dumplings. I was still hungry afterwards, but went to eat somewhere else. At least the service was nice. But I'll never come back as long as the portions are so outrageously small.

We had delicious home cooking (roulades, very tender). The staff was extremely friendly and you just sit in a nice atmosphere inside and outside. Vegans will also find a selection of dishes here.

The food was OK, the service was OK. The lettuce and herbs were unwashed and full of dirt, so you bit on grains of sand when you chewed. When we complained about this, we only received a “I’m sorry” from the waitress, who then quickly disappeared. What a shame!

Here you can sit inside or outside. Reservations are recommended, but you can also get lucky. Online reservation worked wonderfully in our case. The service was great and the waitress was friendly. The breakfast was delicious and was beautifully presented. As we know, the eye eats with you 🥰. Here you can enjoy breakfast, brunch, lunch, a small meal or even dinner. There's something delicious for every time of day. The ambience is fine. Very harmoniously furnished. The chairs are very comfortable and invite you to sit for a long time and enjoy 😌 We will be back definitely.
