I've known the Stövchen for a long time. I find it very cozy, honest, and reliable. You know what to expect. The service is always very friendly. And there's always something to eat.

Very cozy restaurant; we went to a busy spot. We still managed to get a seat, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. I'm happy with the portions and prices.

I had a vegan currywurst with fries, which were really delicious.

A super fun cafe with sidewalk cafes and indoor seating. Limited menu, but super friendly and very fast service. Portions are a bit smaller than usual in Germany. But a dessert (of the week) fills it up. Also visit the restroom, if only for the fun tiles.

Good place to eat. A pleasant atmosphere inside and the same on the terrace. The dishes are large. The background music is pleasant.

I've never experienced anything like this anywhere before (and I've been to a lot of places). I like going to the Stövchen with friends and family. But not anymore from today onwards. It was raining and the tables and chairs (all plastic) were a bit wet. I went in and just asked if we could still sit outside. They should have just quickly wiped them down with a cloth. Then the employee behind the counter, where four or five employees were standing around, shot me back that there wasn't enough capacity to wipe down a table and two chairs. It really wouldn't be possible right now. But she could kindly give me a cloth and wipe them herself. And she did this in a tone that would never have occurred to me in my many years of experience in the restaurant industry. I'm sorry, but there is an urgent need to instruct the employees that sound is everything.

Schnitzel with fries is always a hit. There's something for every taste. The winter garden is very cozy.

Excellent meals with great value!

I occasionally come here with a few work colleagues, and the food, drinks, and atmosphere are all excellent. It's not without reason that we choose the same place again and again.

Although the prices have increased considerably here, they're still relatively fair. For me, the Stövchen is a permanent fixture in Karlsruhe 👍

Good little restaurant, inexpensive, generous German dishes, attentive and welcoming waiters, small terrace on the street or larger one on the interior courtyard, in short, a place to visit.

This place is perfect if you don’t feel like pulling out that old box of Frozen Food from your freezer and cooking it, but rather have this establishment pull their Frozen Food from their freezer and warm it up for you. Quality and flavour is not something to be expected here. If you want a cheap meal just to fill your stomach up, this might be it.

My girlfriend and I were extremely satisfied! Very charming service and a lovely restaurant, freshly prepared food (top quality, very tasty!), and incredibly fair prices! I can't believe something so wonderful still exists today! We won't hesitate for a second and will be back as soon as we're in the area :-) J

Amazing German food, great portion sizes. Great beer, and friendly and helpful staff. Was in the area for 5 nights and ate here 3 of them would have been 4 nights but the place was packed one night so couldn't get a table. Highly recommend it for any other out of towners if I'm back in the area I will definitely be back.

A great meeting place for young and old. Students sit next to young families with children and grandparents... Everyone can find something delicious to eat and the service team is also on point. Perfect for starting the weekend or taking a break during the week.

Ambiance is cozy. If you can't even make fries then I don't know what the rest of it will be like. The service makes an effort, but if the store is full, more staff would make sense.

We landed here for a stopover. We were super satisfied. Super attentive friendly service. The portions are large and sufficient. The prices are great. The beer selection is large. We'd love to come back! Oh yes! You should reserve!

Nice service, good value for money.

That's exactly how you imagine a cult restaurant or a really good beer garden: deafening noise, full house, busy and quick staff - and everything just fits! The portions are generous and the price is really attractive – no one goes home hungry here. Particularly worth mentioning: the homemade cakes. Be sure to leave room for it! The atmosphere is exuberant, warm and contagious. I would come back in a heartbeat.

My favorite restaurant for years - here they have the best cheese spaetzle ever! Spicy cheese, crispy fried onions and always consistently delicious. The service is friendly, the atmosphere is cozy – I always like to come back!

Guys, I can't believe it, there are no more tarte flambées in the warmer!!!,🥺. I would never have thought that possible, warmers and tarte flambées have always been one and the same since I've known them! Of course they also have other good things and the staff is great, but you should think again about the tarte flambée!!

Had dinner with colleagues, we stayed until the end! It was a super relaxed evening 🍻 the price performance was really great and the waiters were really nice! 🙏😁 We felt in great hands. We're already looking forward to summer when we sit outside. All the metal signs inside are really cool too 🔥

I have already eaten twice at Stövchen and I was extremely satisfied both times! Large portions (good quality!), relatively cheap prices and a cozy atmosphere in Karlsruhe center. Couldn't ask for more. As a vegetarian, I definitely recommend the Ofenkartoffeln and Käsespätzle! I invited two friends over for lunch during their first visit to Karlsruhe and it made our day! 😉 Thanks a lot!

We arrived here after 9 of 12 beers (4.5L beers) on the golden mile. All we wanted was another beer. The waitress offered us peanuts out of compassion. We then thought that these were free. When we paid, it turned out that they cost €3.80. The peanuts weren't even roasted! Usury!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You don't come across the waiter very often to order. Other than that, the vegetable hash browns were great, the schnitzel wasn't bad. Their beers are nice

I enjoy going to Stövchen, the prices are great and the food is delicious.

I was always very satisfied here, great food and a relaxed atmosphere. Prices OK too. In the meantime, however, the last drinks are served at 9:15 p.m., which I honestly don't understand - especially when the place is full. So next time I would rather go to another pub

All components were convenience, the salad had probably been enhanced by hand Food on point. Crispy fries, fresh fat! Not intoxicating in taste Wheat glass looks clean, but foam quickly collapses completely (without grease on lips) Extremely nice and attentive service Conclusion: If convenience doesn't bother you, you'll find a great restaurant here in the heart of Karlsruhe at an almost unbeatable price

Incredibly beautiful place! I can't avoid eating here when I'm in Karlsruhe. The staff are all incredibly friendly, the decor is beautiful and the food is brilliant! There is an indoor and outdoor area where you can eat. In winter it is very chilly outside, but blankets are provided and eating inside is still an option. I usually eat tarte flambée or potato pancakes. A real pleasure and all at really fair prices. Large selection of different dishes and drinks. Food is always ready promptly after ordering. I can really only recommend it. The location is just outside the pedestrian zone and easy to reach. So there's never really too much going on here. Great store! :)

The restaurant is beautifully decorated, but the seating (entrance area) is not very comfortable in winter because the wind is constantly blowing in. The food, a schnitzel with croquettes and gravy, is seen as average. The food is probably already prepared. Both the quality and the portion are reasonable for the price, but nothing special. Suitable for snacking, but not if you're really hungry. The service is generally very friendly, unfortunately very scheduled. You wait a relatively long time for your drinks, food and the bill.

I celebrated my birthday here last week. The food was very tasty and inexpensive. The service was very accommodating. I was even allowed to bring my own cake and use dishes from there. It is also great for playing cards or having stimulating conversations. Can only recommend it!

I was here on Wednesday evening and despite the store being packed, it took me less than 5 minutes to have my Cola Weizen! Ordered food straight after and I was there for less than 15 minutes! The madness! Service was super friendly and nice, atmosphere was great, food tasted great too! The price is unbeatable!

We ate at a restaurant after a few hours of walking around town. We ordered a pulled pork, a chicken tender, a vegetable schnitzel and a cheese spaetzle. We were happy with the food and service; however, we noticed an error on the invoice. They had charged a dish twice, which came to 12 euros more. After we pointed it out, they acknowledged the error and corrected the amount we had to pay.

Great place with excellent german cuisine. I highly recommend it. Family friendly too :)
