Great food, nice service Very good value for money

Waited more than 1 hour for the food! Food was lukewarm, no cutlery. Too bad, the food tasted good! There were simply too few staff, perhaps time for the owner to rethink. People who come in order drinks at the bar, ask if they also want to eat, give drinks on a tray, with food menu and cutlery, when ordering food, give a kind of timer that indicates that you can pick up the food. This concept works well, already seen on many outdoor terraces. Good luck for the future❣️

Very expensive, but you get excellent food and service. The staff behaves according to the ambience, but knows how to adapt to the customer and is therefore by no means too stiff or "repetitive". The view is wonderful, as is the general atmosphere.

A ray of hope in all areas. But reservation required :)

We just had a short, spontaneous break there. I found the currywurst fries OK (the sausage was very firm, that's not my thing), the cheese spaetzle was a little better. The bottom line is that the price-performance ratio was right for us. The restaurant is nicely decorated with a good atmosphere, the service was great.

Pretty busy place in the evening, so booking is recommended. Nice service, Large menu with german traditional dishes. Very affordable prices. Decent noise level in the restaurant which is nice 😀. Good german wines and beers. Good pick in Stuttgart.

Went for dinner. Loved the Käsespetzle and both the Jäger- and the Rahmschnitzel. Everything was delicious also the dessert. The service was exactly as it should. The atmosphere and interior also typical for a traditional German restaurant.

Besuch am Sonntag, 11. August 2024 mittags Das Restaurant mit Hotel befindet sich im Mannheimer Stadtteil 'Seckenheim'. Wir haben das Restaurant an einem Sonntag besucht, zum Mittagessen und dieses ist ab 12 Uhr laut Webseite geöffnet. Vor Ort wurden wir freundlich begrüßt und abgefragt, ob im Vorfeld reserviert wurde - dies ist empfehlenswert, laut Webseite. Wir haben dann durch das Personal einen Tisch im Biergarten erhalten und die Karte wurde überreicht. Das Restaurant bietet ausgewählte Pfälzer Weine an, eine gut bürgerliche Küche, Produkte aus der Region und zur normalen Karte, zusätzlich eine monatliche Empfehlungskarte. Bestellung: > Spezi 0,3l für 3,90 € > Bananenweizen 0,5l für 5,90 € > Limo hausgemacht für 4,90 € > Pfifferling - Cremesuppe mit Lauchzwiebeln und ZIMT-Croutons für 7,90 € >> sehr fein im Geschmack und man schmeckt den Zimtgeschmack :-) > Bruschetta - Baguette mit frischen Tomaten, Knoblauch, Olivenöl, Kräutern und Mozzarella überbacken für 6,60 € > Feldsalat mit gebratenen Pfifferlingen, Arg.
