★★★★★ Excellent restaurant!
Simply fantastic! The food was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and lovingly presented. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The ambiance is cozy and stylish – you feel completely at home here. The value for money is absolutely spot on. I definitely recommend it; I'll be back!
Waited more than 1 hour for the food! Food was lukewarm, no cutlery. Too bad, the food tasted good! There were simply too few staff, perhaps time for the owner to rethink. People who come in order drinks at the bar, ask if they also want to eat, give drinks on a tray, with food menu and cutlery, when ordering food, give a kind of timer that indicates that you can pick up the food. This concept works well, already seen on many outdoor terraces. Good luck for the future❣️
5 stars – Authentic Italian food and a great atmosphere!
The Burggaststätte is a real highlight in the area - an Italian restaurant that impresses with delicious, freshly prepared dishes. The pizza is crispy, the pasta is perfect and the atmosphere is really welcoming. What's particularly cool is that there's a local sports club here, which creates a pleasant, sociable atmosphere. The service is warm and attentive. A perfect place to enjoy good food and feel at home!
I can only recommend it.
The service is very friendly, attentive and professional.
The food is good and super tasty 😋.
The rooms are cozy.
I really enjoy coming here.
If I can recommend a restaurant in Mannheim, then it is definitely the Restaurant Zur Waldpforte!
We've been going there for years and the food is always excellent and the quality is consistently high.
I can particularly recommend the rump steak, which is always cooked exactly to the desired cooking point and is very tender, as well as the cordon bleu, a real culinary delight! I have also tried many other dishes from the menu and so far none have disappointed me.
The staff is consistently friendly and attentive, from the cook to the innkeeper to the waitresses.
Friends and we have also hosted family celebrations there and have never been disappointed. In summer, the cozy beer garden also invites you to linger.
Note: The plates themselves are very large, which can easily give the impression in the photos that the portions are small, but that is by no means the case :-)
For the excellent food, the great team and the welcoming location, I have no hesitation in giving it 5 out of 5 points!
Very tasty home-style food in the middle of the allotment garden. Prices are a bit high, but the dishes justify any price. Every dish I've ever eaten there tastes great. The schnitzels are like grandma made and the veal spare ribs are buttery soft. Simply a culinary delight. There is also a good bus connection.
Right next to the museum is the Jägerhof, a large yet cozy restaurant. It also has a large outdoor area.
German cuisine, good selection, and tasty. The service is also very good. For groups of 15 or more, there's a reduced menu, and you have to order 1.5 hours in advance...oh well...
I'd be happy to come back. Regards, Fronck.
