Food is okay, but unfortunately you have to wait a long time for it. For an hour or more, if you're still sitting in the beer garden and there's no lighting other than a small tea light per table, then it's not that nice to eat in the dark.

We ate very well here and were served very well. The food is absolutely within the price range. The drink prices are probably due to the exposed location on the lake. €5.10 for a wheat beer - my personal record. 4.90 for 0.4 L juice spritzer. 4.90 for a Williams.

Great restaurant by the lake, right at the campsite. Friendly service, the food was very good, the prices were a bit high - but still acceptable. We'd love to come back.

A great evening for all of us (four people) Addendum Sept. 24...we were HIERRRR again and spent two wonderful evenings again. On the one hand because of the tasty food and on the other hand the service topped everything. Very tasty food and nice service. Update 2024 Hello guys, I want to tell you: it really tastes delicious here. We come here every year and have not been disappointed yet. My personal favorite are lentils with spaetzle and 'Wienerle'. The boss and the service are very friendly and helpful.

Were here for the first time today! The food and service excellent! The menu is varied, including regional dishes! The restaurant is connected to the adjacent campsite, but fortunately it has no camping character!

Here is a beautiful place to unwind right next to beautiful Lake Constance! You will ALWAYS be welcomed and served nicely. The food is always worth it!!! Very tasty, you'll feel really full and it's nicely prepared. Here we cook and serve with love. To feel good! Always worth a visit.

10 Tage Frühstücksservice und Mittagessen. Absolutes Highlight der hand made Kartoffelsalat der quirligen Chefin, die gerne auch ihr Rezept an anfragende Gäste weiter gibt. Jedes einzelne Gericht, nebst sehr leckeren Salaten, waren echte Gaumenfreuden. Tolle Croissants, Brezeln und Laugenstangen etc. als Frühstücksservice. Hier kocht ein französicher Koch nebst Chef und dem Allroundtalent Sascha, mit viel Liebe auch wenn es brechend voll ist mit gleichbleibender Qualität. Dazu sehr nettes Personal, einfach ein stimmiges Team. Beim Rostbraten 200/300g erhält der Gast nicht rischgewicht, sondern auch mehr in gebratenen Zustand.

really great you can't go past it. Swabian plates... salad with turkey very very tasty the landlady and her 2 ladies take care of everything for the little ones ice pack for sprained legs. And of course about the great food and good selection of drinks Price performance for this view of the lake and friendly staff perfect...

It is a restaurant connected to the campsite. We would have expected much less. It's nice to sit by the lake and the food is okay. Service good. We're going there again.

I was there 2 years ago and ate the Kässpätzle. Because they were so good, I went back this time and they were just as good as last time! 😋 I think it's particularly great that you can put together the side salad yourself! The service is friendly and attentive, absolutely recommended! 👍

We were there today at 2.30 p.m. and the kitchen was closed. The owner said it was everywhere on the internet and she had to know. We used Google Maps and it said kitchen until 10 p.m. please find out more. We definitely won't be coming back

From the service to the food, everything is perfect here!

Great quality!!! The onion roast is great, as are the side dishes, etc. The meat is fresh and prepared by the chef himself, the spaetzle and the sauces are homemade and super tasty. The salad buffet is also very good and the service is very nice. Really very good food, definitely worth the price. :)

Delicious food, at a price that is absolutely reasonable! The portions are generous and you'll be full. If you have a small child, you will be offered a child's chair straight away. The waitresses are all super nice and attentive! Location almost right on the water! Gladly again

Restaurant located right on the water with very good cuisine and very friendly service! Seating inside is limited, so be sure to reserve in advance if the weather is bad! The restaurant is located directly at a campsite. It takes around 30 to 35 minutes to walk from Uhldingen. But it's definitely worth it!

A very cozy place to enjoy delicious food with a view of the lake. The hosts are really nice and try very hard to fulfill all your wishes. They also have the necessary sense of humor when things get busy and stressful. The food was very tasty and recommended. Top address

We were there for the first time this evening and we can really recommend it! It's best to reserve in advance. This is a restaurant on a campsite. The atmosphere was great with a great view of Lake Constance. There are limited parking spaces for non-campers. 1min walk. The portions were huge, even at the neighboring tables, and the taste was really great! Price/performance fits in today's times. The staff were all very friendly and attentive, except for the champagne for the dog 😉. PS.: I had the lentils with spaetzle, it was my final opponent. I thought it was great, even though I didn't make it 😅

Went to “Im Vorbei” on the last evening of our vacation. Although we hadn't made a reservation and there were five people and two dogs, we were offered a place even though it was already quite full. Service staff was super accommodating and nice. You can only say positive things about the food. Everything homemade. And super tasty. Really recommended.

We were there three times during our short vacation at the campsite and were super satisfied each time. Very likeable boss who spreads a good mood and doesn't let the guests at the table feel that it's really stressful in the background. The food (vegetarian Maultaschen) was simply amazing; super tasty. The view (terrace or inside) is priceless.

At the end of a bike tour we got a wonderful table on the terrace with a view of Lake Constance. Everyone in service was really friendly and accommodating. The food tasted excellent and we were completely satisfied. Thank you very much and see you soon!!!

Very nicely located restaurant with a view of the lake. Food was very good. The portions too. I don't think anyone goes home hungry. The staff was very friendly. The waiting time for the food was completely bearable. Price performance for the location is completely okay. If we are in the area we will definitely go there again.

A bit inconspicuous at first glance, but the food is fantastic! A lot of things are homemade and everything is freshly prepared. We were particularly impressed by the salad platter with pike perch, as it had an enormous variety of salads: potato salad, carrot salad, pasta salad, cucumber salad, bean salad and so on. The turkey schnitzel was also very tender and juicy. In summer you can sit very nicely and quietly right by the lake. We will be back!

We arrived as a large group of 6 late in the evening. With the house full, our order was taken quickly and we were looked after very well, with blankets and lights, as the outside area still offered a very nice atmosphere even in the evening! The food also came very quickly and was filling and delicious. Large portions with decent - and interchangeable - side dishes with a large, varied selection! We will definitely remember the warm and well-deserved hospitality of the staff. A clear visit recommendation for anyone who wants to experience great service, good food and a beautiful atmosphere! We will be back! (Dogs also welcome, very nice!)

Five stars for everything! Food excellent, service excellent, prices reasonable! Rarely have I had such a good, perfectly prepared steak. Rarely have we experienced such attentive and friendly service! We will definitely come back when we are at Lake Constance again. Best regards.

Great food, the spaetzle was great!

The whole team is extremely friendly! The food (potato soup, tarte flambée “forest” and Swabian plate) was delicious and very plentiful! Good for people who are very hungry! The only thing that's a shame is the fact that the restaurant is closed on the same day as all the other restaurants in the area: on Wednesdays you have to cook yourself.

Wir haben nur etwas getrunken aber guter Service und schöne Lage

Sehr schön, direkt am See und am Campingplatz gelegene kleine Gaststätte mit tollen Biergarten. Sehr vielfältig und leckere Speisen. Mega leckerer Flammkuchen mit verschiedenen Belag. Preislich noch okay. Hier wird noch frisch und leckere Hausmannskost gekocht. Vermutet man gar nicht für ein Lokal am Campingplatz. Für Gäste des Campingplatzes wurde Brötchenservice angeboten. Hat täglich geklappt. Personal ( bis auf die ausländisch Akzent sprechende blonde Bedienung) waren alle sehr höflich, freundlich, zuvorkommend. Wir empfehlen das Lokal auf jeden Fall weiter. Egal ob auf ein Pausenbier/ Wein, Kaffee und Kuchen oder lecker Abendessen.

Gute, selbst hergestellte Gerichte. Sehr freundlicher Empfang und Bedienung. Am Wochenende zum Abend unbedingt reservieren. Der Blick über den See entschleunigt. So macht es gar nichts, wenn die Zubereitung etwas dauert. Hier kocht der Chef selbst und immer frisch. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist passend. Ich kann das Restaurant empfehlen. Die Chefin ist immer freundlich und sehr aufmerksam.

Eines vorweg, wir sind an einem sonnigen Feiertag zu siebt mit zwei Hunden dort eingefallen 😉 Wir haben einen allen Ernstes einen Tisch bekommen ohne Reservierung. Dafür wurde uns geboten: ein sehr guter Service, hervorragendes Essen und ein Platz an der Sonne. Preis/ Service und Essen sind völlig im Einklang. Wir kommen gerne wieder 🙂👍

Wir haben zwei Wochen Urlaub auf dem angrenzenden Campingplatz gemacht. Im Restaurant konnten wir jeden Morgen unsere bestellten Brötchen abholen. Hat super geklappt. Das Essen im Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen. Tolle regionale Küche. Alles frisch zubereitet. Und der Service ist 1a. Man fühlt sich Pudelwohl als Gast. Die Chefin lebt Ihre Rolle als Gastgeberin!! Der Blick von der Terrasse auf den Bodensee ist einzigartig. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit.

Super leckeres Essen, nur zu empfehlen

Wir waren drei Abende zum Essen dort. Wirklich absolut lecker. Zum Beispiel die Grillplatte oder die gebratene Leber. Dazu ein sehr freundliches Personal und ein grandioser Blick über den Bodensee. Wer hier Urlaub macht u d dann nicht dort ißt versäumt etwas.
