We have been coming for many years and love this authentic, wonderful Chinese cuisine at “Restaurant Hawan”. The construction site that has been going on for years is simply damaging to business and not really sad. D. Röhlch

I visited this place because they said it was the closest thing to a Korean-style Chinese restaurant in Cologne. They sell guo bao rou, which is hard to find here. I’m not sure if this is what Chinese guo bao rou is like, but it wasn’t crispy or chewy. It just felt like eating thinly fried meat. The sauce was surprisingly like the Cantonese ketchup sauce I used to eat when I was young. The kids liked it. The adults actually liked the Hongso pork that we ordered together. The staff was friendly. By the way, rice is not free. When I first got here, I couldn’t find the entrance, so I got lost a little. You have to go under the Geffel am Dom sign, not the door under the sign.
