Schlechte Erfahrung. Viel zu teuer für das Gebotene. Das Sushi war nicht kaltgestellt, und alles wirkte, als wäre es schon ewig da oder mit den Resten vom Vortag vermischt. Zu guter Letzt war das Eis wässrig. Jemand packte gerade den Müll ein, und dann sprühte jemand Ameisenpulver, während wir draußen aßen. Bitte verbessern Sie Ihren Service und Ihre Küche, um die Sicherheit aller Gäste zu gewährleisten.

Freundliches Personal und guter Service. Das Essen war okay, allerdings gab es eher wenig Auswahl. Das China-Bier war dafür sehr lecker. Das Restaurant ist insgesamt etwas in die Jahre gekommen und könnte eine Renovierung gut gebrauchen.

Kleines aber feines China Restaurant. Sehr nette Bedienung und leckeres Essen.

Leider nicht nochmal! Das Besteck, die Gläser und Stellen am Buffet waren unsauber, fast schon schmuddelig. Vor dem Essen lag ein Haar, die zu kleinen Löffel lagen mitten im Essen, sodass jeder hineinfassen musste. Unappetitlich, unhygienisch. Dieser Eindruck zog sich leider durch den ganzen Abend: auch die sanitären Anlagen waren dreckig und man wollte schnell wieder weg. Wir parkten auf dem hinteren Parkplatz hinter dem Haus und konnten einen solchen Eindruck leider auch dort bekommen. Überall standen Müll, Müllsäcke und Sperrmüll, ein wackeliges Schaukelgerüst mittendrin. Die Bedienung war freundlich und keiner musste lange auf seine Getränke waren. Auch das Essen wurde zügig aufgefüllt. Aber trotzdem: leider nicht nochmal!

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant mit sehr preiswertem Buffet. Ich war schon häufig dort. Sehr gemütliche Einrichtung in asiatischem Stil. Sehr freundliches Personal und sehr leckeres Essen. Mir gefällt das Restaurant sehr gut und ich kann es sehr empfehlen.

Wir sind seit vielen Jahren Stammkunden und kommen immer wieder gerne hierher. Das Essen ist immer frisch und sehr lecker, der Service freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir fühlen uns jedes Mal willkommen. Klare Empfehlung!

Wir kommen hier her seit wir 2000 in die Nähe gezogen sind. Das Abmiente war schon damals in die Jahre gekommen, ist aber sauber, ordentlich und keinesfalls unangenehm. Das Essen ist reichlich und variantenreich, sodass eigentlich jeder etwas finden sollte. Ich liebe bspw. die süßsaure Suppe und esse nur hier den Wackelpudding mit Vanillesauce. :-) Zwischenzeitlich gab es mal einen Betreiber, der alles in Öl badete. Das ist zum Glück vorbei. Ich habe den Eindruck, dass der jetzige Betreiber eher öfter und in kleineren Mengen nachlegt, sodaß man immer recht frisch Gekochtes vom Buffet erhält. Der Service ist für uns ausgezeichnet. Man bekommt einen Tisch zugewiesen oder darf sich selbst einen Platz aussuchen, wenn genügend frei ist. Das finden wir sehr gut. Es werden die Getränke serviert, die man möchte und fertig. Niemand drängelt. Gebrauchte Teller werden unbemerkt abgeräumt, während man sich eine neue Portion zusammen stellt. Das Publikum ist allgemein eher ruhig, sodaß man beim Essen seine Ruhe hat oder sich ebenfalls dezent unterhalten kann. Lediglich die Rauchergruppen vor der Tür sind manchmal sehr selbstgefällig, stören aber nicht im Retaurant. Ich frage mich nur manchmal, warum die überhaupt mitgekommen sind, wenn sie ihre Familie fast den ganzen Abend alleine beim Essen lassen. Wenn man bezahlen möchte, muss man manchmal ein wenig warten. Nun gut, wer möchte dafür lieber jemanden bezahlen, der ständig an der Kasse erreichbar wäre. ;-) Insgesamt kann ich der chinesischen Familie nur dazu gratulieren, wie sie das Restaurant führen und Ihre Gäste betreuen.

Insgesamt kann ich es empfehlen. Ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Das Frittierte war in letzter Zeit etwas fettig, aber alles andere ist hervorragend.

Mal für zwischendurch kann man hier gut essen.

Seit vielen Jahren kommen wir regelmäßig hierher und fühlen uns immer willkommen. Die Besitzer und das gesamte Team sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen ist lecker und frisch. Das Buffet ist gerecht gestaltet mit einer leckeren, kompakten Auswahl, sodass für jeden etwas dabei ist. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt vollkommen. Das Restaurant ist sauber, das Ambiente angenehm und der Service herzlich. Wir können das Peking Garden definitiv weiterempfehlen – sauber, lecker und freundlich! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Hier wurde die Glückskeksgeschichte von der Sendung mit der Maus (22.02.2026) gedreht. Christoph hatte 2x das Mittagsbüffet für 10,60 Mark und 2x Cola für je 2,80 Mark. Macht zusammen 26,80 Mark.

Ganz ok für ein chinesisches Buffet , wenn man nicht so hohe Standards hat .

Essen super lecker. Familiäres Restaurant. Nette Bedienung. Es ist zwar ein recht kleines Buffet, aber es reicht völlig aus. Sind schon sehr oft dort gewesen und werden auch weiterhin dort hingehen. :)

Ich kann die negativen Bewertungen absolut nicht nachvollziehen. Wir sind seit Jahren Stammgäste und nutzen immer das All-you-can-eat-Buffet. Das Essen ist aus unserer Erfahrung immer warm, frisch und sehr lecker. Es wird regelmäßig neuer Nachschub gebracht, sodass nichts lange steht. Die Auswahl ist groß und abwechslungsreich. Das Personal ist stets aufmerksam, freundlich und herzlich. Der Preis ist für das Gebotene unschlagbar. Insgesamt sind wir sehr zufrieden und gehen immer wieder gerne dort essen.

As always, the food was delicious, the buffet was plentiful, and the atmosphere was wonderful. We always enjoy coming back because the quality of the food, the service, and the price are all excellent. Our guests were also very satisfied. We'll definitely be back and look forward to our next visit. Five stars are absolutely deserved.

We've been here several times and have always been completely satisfied. The selection has always been good and varied. There's something for everyone. There were also plenty of vegetarian options. 👍

Simple but delicious. The buffet has everything you need. Even something as exotic as kangaroo meat. My parents go here regularly and are very satisfied. It's a bit more expensive in the evenings, but they also offer duck, shrimp, etc.

We ate there for the first time today. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the buffet was always well-stocked. The only downside, which wasn't the restaurant's or the staff's fault, was the noise level of some guests, especially at the table behind us. For some people, good manners are just a matter of luck. We will definitely visit the restaurant again.

A below-average restaurant. The service, if you can describe it that way, could be improved. The buffet is very limited.

We were there for the lunch buffet. Accessible despite the construction site. Walking past, the buffet looked quite simple. Noodles, rice, fries, fried chicken, chicken liver, mushrooms, pork in apple juice, chicken in curry, beans, chicken pieces, beef with onions, salad, a couple of sushi, small spring rolls, fried banana and pineapple, and jelly. That was about it. No duck, crab, or shrimp.... Probably only available in the evening. Everything tasted kind of mushy and stale, simply overcooked. The sauces all had skin on them. I didn't even dare try it. The sweet and sour sauce tasted watery and artificial. Unfortunately, none of it was to our taste. The service was friendly and attentive. However, he kept coughing without covering his mouth, which wasn't very tasty. The price was quite reasonable at €27 for two people + two drinks. But I'd rather go for something more expensive and better quality. We won't go back.

A review was posted two weeks ago that Peking Garden was permanently closed. We ate there again today, and there are no plans to close the restaurant anytime soon. Peking Garden is still OPEN!!! We love eating there and always enjoy the friendliness and atmosphere. We can recommend it with a clear conscience.

A truly delicious and affordable all-you-can-eat Asian buffet with a wide selection. The great thing is that you can also eat outside on the terrace. 🚨 Important 🚨: Contrary to incorrect information in a review by Andreas Bentz from early September 2025, Peking Garden is still open as usual, with no new owner and no new concept! Prices are also unchanged. Simply a great restaurant with a lovely terrace and very friendly staff!

We recently ate here and, unfortunately, the visit was disappointing overall. Even the journey there was problematic: Parking is very confusing due to construction, and you have to take detours to even get to the restaurant. We were barely greeted upon entering – more along the lines of "just pick a table." We unfortunately lacked any friendliness or attentiveness here. The buffet didn't seem particularly fresh even as we walked past – and unfortunately, this impression was confirmed: • Many dishes were cold or only lukewarm. • Some of the food was undercooked, bland, and barely seasoned. • The shrimp batter was even half raw. • Some dishes seemed to have been sitting for a very long time and were accordingly unappealing. • Even the fruit wasn't anything positive to say – it was overripe and tasted disappointing. The ambiance was the best part of the visit, but also nothing special. At €16.80 for the buffet plus €5.20 for a large bottle of water, the price is certainly not excessive, but given the quality offered, it's simply not justified. Overall, it was an evening we were looking forward to, but it turned out to be a disappointment. A return visit is therefore out of the question for us.

This restaurant is simply a dream! The buffet is always fresh, varied, and incredibly delicious. It's clean and well-maintained, and you feel welcome from the very first moment. The atmosphere is wonderful, the staff always friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Everything is just right here, and you can tell that quality and hospitality are our top priority. For us, this is one of the best restaurants anywhere, and we're always happy to come back!

We were there for the dinner buffet. The buffet food wasn't really my thing. Everything was baked, and some of the vegetables were very salty. The service was very friendly and attentive. The prices are great!

Disaster – Peking Garden has closed its doors forever. Its successor has already moved in, albeit with a completely different concept. In silent mourning…

Unfortunately, it was disappointing. There was hardly any vegetarian choice, most of the food was overcooked and far too greasy. The pasta was hard, and the broccoli wasn't cooked properly. There were lots of fruit flies in the pineapple, the cake was simply wet, and the sauces already had a skin on the surface. Unfortunately, it wasn't a good experience for us.

The food selection is okay. Not a lot, but sufficient. The quality of the food isn't particularly good. Many dishes are simply overcooked. The waitress was running around in a Burger King T-shirt. All in all, this was a semi-awesome experience. You can do it, but you don't have to.

The waitresses were running around with a fire extinguisher in their pants, eating in rubber shoes. The buffet was very small, so there wasn't much choice. The noodles were already dry. The ladies' restroom handles and doors were sticky. So if you don't expect much, this is the place for you.

⭐️ 1 out of 5 stars – Never again! I don't know if I've landed at "Peking Garden" or a culinary nightmare. This "all you can eat" concept should be better named "all you should avoid." The buffet was a sad collection of overcooked, tasteless, and carelessly thrown-together dishes that seemed to have been sitting under the heat lamp for hours – or was that from the day before? The sushi looked like it came from last week's discount store, the duck was tough as a shoe sole, and the supposedly "freshly prepared" stir-fry dish was thrown together in front of my eyes at a speed that made the chef rush off work. Taste? None. Service? More like a game of hide-and-seek. Hardly anyone approachable, annoyed looks, and when I asked for fresh cutlery, I was treated as if I'd asked for a five-course meal. Cleanliness? I've experienced rest stops that seemed more hygienic. Sticky tables, stained chairs, and on the way to the restroom, I seriously considered whether my tetanus shot was up to date. In short: The only positive aspect was the moment I left the restaurant. Never again for me. I'd rather go hungry than eat there again.

Bad staff and food could be better

A very good value for money buffet restaurant located nearby a wildpark. Service is great and friendly and the food taste is reasonable. Parking is available right in front of the restaurant.

World class Asian! Super tasty food, very nice service, great value for money! Buffett Extensive, very tasty soups, sushi is also available and, for dessert, fried fruit/fresh fruit, cakes and several flavors of ice cream. Very cozy atmosphere. Food from the menu is unbeatable, large portions. A must for every lover. Keep it up!

We went here for lunch today with friends (who have been here several times). They told us we should go with them and that it would be delicious. I come from the catering industry and my wife and I were so positively impressed. The service was very polite and friendly. Everything is clean and well maintained. Everything was always fresh and it was always freshly refilled. The fish was on point and at the buffet. It was just super tasty and it didn't matter what you took. I could write a lot more, but take a look for yourself and eat deliciously and cheaply here. We definitely say THANK YOU!!! For a super delicious meal and service and we will definitely come back.

All okay. Price performance is okay. Service could do a little more small talk with the regulars. The quality of the food is no longer quite as good as it used to be. Since the price hasn't increased for years, I suspect that the quality must suffer somewhat. It is also difficult for the catering industry to find a good mix. We'd love to come back.

Super nice service, always in a good mood, even in Corona times. Solid buffet, the shrimps in different versions are very tasty if you like them and eat them from the buffet. Otherwise enough variety in taste at a good price. You can sit down both inside and outside. Good Chinese, been there for a few years and probably not without good reason. Keep it up!

We, a retired couple from the Allgäu, stayed here in an apartment over New Year's Eve. Of course we visited the Chinese Restaurant Peking Garden. We opted for the buffet in the evening. The rooms were well attended. The friendly and courteous staff always served guests with a smile. Tables and dishes were removed as quickly as possible so that there was room on the tables for the next course. The buffet and the menu itself leave little to be desired for the Asia fan. We were impressed by the quality and taste of the dishes prepared. We come out as repeat offenders. We are happy to recommend the Chinese Restaurant Peking Garden with a clear conscience. Update: Mittlerweile ist der Restaurantbetrieb, und die Außengastronomie wieder eröffnet. Die Preisstruktur ist geblieben. Service freundlich und hilfsbereit wie immer. Auch die in der Lockdown-Zeit notwendigen Services werden bislang aufrecht erhalten. Die Qualität der Speisen ist seit Jahren gut bis sehr gut (je nach Geschmack) zu angemessenen Preisen. Alles andere wie unten bereits beschrieben. Es werden entsprechende Speisen zum Abholen angeboten in der gewohnten Restaurantqualität zu angemessenen Preisen. Laut Aushang werden auch Speisen ausgeliefert. Da kann ich aber nicht beurteilen, weil ich es noch nie in Anspruch genommen habe. Die Bedienung ist immer freundlich und Terminabsprachen wurden bislang immer eingehalten. Alles bestens.

It was quite cozy at Christmas even though there were a lot of people there, friendly service and great value for money, there was something to eat for everyone 😊

Every stay so far has been a great experience. However, I can't find a list of allergens on the website. I recently developed a sesame allergy and even though I've never had any problems at restaurants, I find it difficult to know which foods I potentially shouldn't eat.

We really enjoy eating here. There is a delicious buffet that is always sufficiently replenished. The dessert section is also really great. The atmosphere is very nice and familiar. The only thing I would be happy about is adjusting the aquarium to accommodate the size of the fish.

We celebrated my sister's birthday here today and everything was great! The food was delicious and the entire team was extremely warm, friendly and attentive! When paying, my husband was unfortunately inattentive and preoccupied and unfortunately forgot the tip, which is now quite annoying for us on the way home, because the team definitely deserved it - next time it's double :) Thank you for the lovely evening!
