A slightly hidden gem in the center of Cologne. Really delicious and authentic Chinese cuisine, especially their roasted duck and steamed pork belly with preserved vegetables. Located perfectly in front of the Cologne cathedral, you cannot have a better view. The menu is extensive and slightly on the expensive side, however a great alternative to German food. Large and spacious restaurant. Recommended to book a table prior to coming, if you really want to secure a table with a view.

As a Cologne resident, you usually don't end up in restaurants in such touristy areas, but a visit to this restaurant with a view of the cathedral is worth it! The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. It's difficult for me to judge whether the cooking is authentic, but it seems that way. The prices are not snack prices but the portions are large and the quality of the food corresponds to the price. The ambience is difficult to describe and is certainly a matter of taste, but definitely cozy. I like the restaurant and I'll definitely come back.

They brought the food too late and almost cold. Couldn't finish it. Very bad combination of flavors and price wise it is very unreasonable. They didn't give us the bill, we had to calculate it ourselves.

Friends, please don’t go to this shady store. The service attitude is very bad. I originally wanted to eat at his place, but I ended up walking upstairs with my baby stroller. When I entered, I found it was extremely hot. The air conditioner was not turned on at over 30 degrees. Later, We decided not to eat at his house. One of our friends went to his bathroom. The boss asked for 5 euros on the pretext that the bathroom was for guests.

Fine restaurant!?! We were there last Friday (12 people) at lunchtime. Restaurant hardly visited. It took a long time for the waiter to come to the table. He gave us a piece of paper and a pen to write down our order ourselves. We weren't asked for drinks at all. We had to make ourselves known several times to order drinks. My duck was tough and dry, I think from the day before. The rice had to be paid extra. I know this from other countries, it's never happened to me in Germany. The facility has seen better days. The view of the cathedral doesn't stop it either.

Service is not that great but the food will be amazing. If you are visiting in a big group then you need to be patient. Food and atmosphere is pretty good.

This restaurant is With my 8-year-old daughter on her first trip to Germany When visiting Cologne Cathedral It was a place I went into by chance. My daughter suddenly began to feel unwell and vomit in the restaurant, perhaps as an aftereffect of the long flight from Asia to Europe, which lasted over 16 hours, but she received a lot of help from the friendly staff there. We ordered three delicious menu items, but even after my husband and I started eating, my daughter said she didn't feel well and couldn't eat at all. For our daughter, the owner and staff of the restaurant made porridge, which was not on the original menu... They brought us warm water and told us that she could rest at the restaurant as long as she wanted until her condition improved, and were considerate. It was a truly unforgettable and grateful experience in a foreign country. Of course, the meal menu, including delicious seafood noodles, fried rice, and beef fried noodles, was very delicious, and the view of Cologne Cathedral from the window was also truly beautiful and wonderful. My daughter got better through unforgettable warm care. I was able to complete the rest of my trip successfully and now I'm back in Korea. I am spending the rest of my summer vacation in good health. I wanted to express my sincere gratitude to the owner and all the employees, but I was disappointed that I had to leave without being able to stop by Cologne again. We hope this warm and beautiful restaurant will prosper for a long time to come. On my next trip to Germany, I will visit again with my family to have a delicious meal while looking healthy and bright. Thank you again.

The waiter wanted to sit us in the corner even though the restaurant was empty. The tablecloth had holes in it, the food looked like it came from a snack bar and was completely overpriced!!!! My vegetable dish only consisted of one type of green vegetable. Even the rice had to be paid extra. The rice had become expensive, the waitress said kindly. The beer was warm, the menu was grubby and very clear. We had better memories of the restaurant, but we can no longer recommend it. :-((

First the good: food was okay. Tablecloths were dirty and had holes in them. Ambiance and atmosphere was not there. Only one of the staff spoke German. Long wait for drinks, starters and main course. No heating plate. The floor of the toilet (men's room) was covered in urine.

Peking am Dom offers a very good location and a great view of the cathedral. The food was also very good and the staff were friendly. However, the ambience and cleanliness leave a lot to be desired. The restaurant is quite old and lacks aesthetics and atmosphere. Overall, this restaurant has huge potential, it just needs some renovation.

I was recently in a great Chinese restaurant right next to Cologne Cathedral. The location is simply great because you have a great view of the cathedral. The food was really tasty and the view was simply amazing. The service was also great, the people there are really nice and attentive. A great place to enjoy a good meal and admire the cathedral at the same time. I can only recommend!

The restaurant sucks. The room is hot, the air conditioning is not working. The dishes themselves just suck. Prices are above average. In a regular shopping center, the duck was 100 times tastier than in this restaurant. The tea was actually brought with a bag in a teapot!

I originally wanted to go to a Chinese restaurant nearby, but it happened to be closed. I saw this restaurant on the roadside and wanted to try it, but the overall dining experience was unexpectedly bad. First of all, there was no one to greet us when we entered the store, leaving us waiting at a loss. Secondly, the waiter's ability was worrying. When ordering, he didn't know what kind of dish we were talking about. He misunderstood "siomai" as "fried dumplings" and hesitated when speaking. There's Gaffel Kölsch here (probably on tap) which unfortunately wasn't that great (no foam and warm). The men's toilet was a disaster!!!!! Card payment is not a problem, but contrary to what is advertised, you cannot pay with AMERICAN EXPRESS! Unfortunately, this is a big disadvantage!

A view of Cologne Cathedral. In Rosenmontauk, you can even see the parade out the window. No. 62, duck dish with pineapple sauce, had a bit of a foul smell. I can feel it even though I am not sensitive. The sauce tasted just like Korean sweet and sour pork sauce and it was delicious. No. 61, the duck dish with soy sauce was not spicy at all. (Germans may find it spicy) Perhaps because the seasoning was strong, I didn't feel any odor. It was more delicious than number 62 and was good to eat with rice. Food was about 17-20 euros, which wasn't expensive at all considering the location.

Wir waren zu viert an einem Tisch und haben Ente gegessen, aber der Geschmack war so ekelhaft Das Fleisch schmeckte nicht nach Ente. Was die Kellnerin betrifft, die dort arbeitet, habe ich sie auf sehr nette und freundliche Weise nach der Richtung der Toilette gefragt, und dann hat sie wie ein Vulkan geschrien und Dinge zu mir gesagt, so wie Sie es sind kein Kind und ich kann dich nicht an die Hand nehmen usw. von diesem Unsinn und nach all dem betrug die Rechnung etwa 140 Euro und tatsächlich ist es für mich und meine Freunde keine 10 Euro wert. There was a noticeable difference in treatment between customers speaking English and those speaking Chinese, with the latter receiving worse service . If you are Chinese, you’d better pretend you can’t speak Chinese. Additionally, the beef dish, priced at 23.5 Euros, contained only a small quantity of meat, barely enough for one person, the taste was not bad though. Our experience was so unsatisfactory that we lost the appetite to order more, finding the nearby McDonald’s a better option.

Etwas versteckt gelegenes sehr gutes Asia-Restaurant. Das Lokal liegt über dem McDonald's. Von den meisten Plätzen aus hat man einen schönen Domblick. Das Essen ist erstklassig und preiswert. Es wird frisch gekocht. Deshalb dauert es manchmal länger. Aber die Zeit ist gut investiert. Das Angebot ist auf den europäischen Geschmack angepasst aber um Welten besser als die typische Asia Systemgastronomie. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Literally the WORST service EVER, the oil they use is BAD oil

Essen ist gut. Personal war freundlich. Ambiente ist gepflegt. WC klein aber sauber.

Super Location, direkt am Dom. Ein bisschen versteckt zwischen dem McDonalds und Taku. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Portionen waren recht groß, preislich stimmts. Einzig das Wasser, welches ich sehr teuer finde. Ansonsten ist es sauber und eine authentische Atmosphäre! Während der Mittagszeit ist eher weniger los, was für einige vielleicht vom Vorteil sein könnte.

Portionen waren nicht so gross, Ambiente eher kalt, auch weil die Heizung aus war und die Fenster gekippt. Lüftungsgitter in der Herrentoilette darf gerne mal wieder sauber gemacht werden.

Das Essen war wirklich lecker und sehr schmackhaft. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Ambiente war typisch chinesisch, die Möbel waren etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber absolut OK 👍 Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder 😊

Gegessen haben wir wie in China, sehr authentisch. Das Pekingente-Menu hat uns gut geschmeckt und der Preis war fair. Das Restaurant ist stilvoll eingerichtet und man sieht sogar den Dom. Wir würden wieder kommen!

Leider gibt es hier keine Möglichkeit „keinen Stern“ zu vergeben. Ausstattung alt, Tischdecken kaputt, lange Wartezeit aufs Essen obwohl nicht viele Tische besetzt waren; Servicekräfte teilweise unfreundlich, Essen hat nicht geschmeckt.

Gar nicht mal so gut! Ehrlich gesagt,haben wir noch nie so schlecht Chinesisch gegessen wie hier. Ambiente und Service waren leider auch nicht gut. Die vielen positiven Bewertungen können wir nicht teilen....

5 Sachen: - Gerichte schmecken nach Luft. Gewürze fehlen. - Schlechte Umluftung. Es ist extrem heiß drinnen. - Extrem schmutzige Toilette. Einfach unakzeptabel. - Unfreundliches Personal. Ich habe mich diskriminiert wegen meiner Herkunft aus Südostasien gefühlt. - Zu hohe Preise. Nie wieder hier. Wenn ihr chinesisches Lebensmittel genießen wollt, gibt es viele bessere chinesische Restaurants in der Nähe.

Food was good chinese food. Very nice view to the Dom of Cologne, if you can get one of the rare window tables. 4 stars for the service staff because they appear to be a bit rude. I know, they dont mean to be rude, but that is what our impression was.

服務至上，誠信為重。在這家店完全沒有。進入餐廳後，我們詢問窗邊的空位，服務員表明「靠窗位置是需要事先預訂的，那區的空位全都是」。結果帶我們坐在團位區。用餐中，有兩位外國客人是被帶入那區的空位，在入口處從他們的詢問表達同樣並未事前訂位，為什麼是這樣呢？還有，點菠菜送來清江菜，未用完料理即要收盤。後來才發現原來「那一區」似乎全是外國人，難道是膚色問題嗎？同樣是中國人，中國餐廳如此這般對待嗎？我想，是不是我們在用餐時，原訂位的人都全臨時取消了？尚未報到用餐時間？才會讓我們看見那一區一直是空位不少。還是我們應該用德語英語才可以進入那區用餐嗎？質疑！不過，中國人實在是厲害吧！這家酒樓也真的是有夠差！

Nach einem schönen Tag in Köln haben wir hier unseren Tag mit einem Essen abgerundet. Nach einer Verwechslung bei der Bestellung, deren genauer Grund sich nicht ergeben hat, waren wir mit unserem Essen zufrieden. Gebackene Ente war sehr gut. Leider konnten wir keinen Tisch mit Domblick ergattern. Für uns ganz normale Leute war das Essen in Ordnung, auch preislich in Anbetracht der zentralen Lage.

Vom Stil und der Einrichtung sind die besten Jahre vorbei. Auch das Personal ist mit Freundlichkeit nicht gerade verschwenderisch. Das Essen selber war "OK" und vernünftig gewürzt. Die Lage ist jedoch weiterhin traumhaft, was dann wohl auch die deutlich zu hohen Preise erklärt. Fazit: Von mir keine Weiterempfehlung. -------- Meiner absolut korrekten Bewertung vom 13.05.2019 möchte ich per 16.08.2023 noch hinzufügen, dass eine Kanzlei gegen diese Bewertung rechtlich vorgehen möchte. Dies führt bei mir jedoch nur dazu, dass ich die Gesamtbewertung des Restaurants wegen fehlender Kritikfähigkeit und Uneinsichtigkeit von immerhin noch zwei Sternen nun auf noch einen Stern herabgesetzt wird. Der Hohn im Schreiben des Kanzlei ist die Aussage: "Vorweg möchten wir darauf hinweisen, dass Kritik ausdrücklich erwünscht und zur Verbesserung der eigenen Leistung genutzt wird." Nun, dies ist offensichtlich nicht der Fall. Schade.

Wenn ein Restaurant eine Kanzlei beauftragt, die vielen vielen negativen Bewertungen auf Google löschen zu lassen, anstatt darauf zu vertrauen, dass die Qualität und der Service die Kunden überzeugen, spricht das Bände. Und wirft die Frage auf, woher wohl die positiven Rezensionen kommen. Ich selber kann nur die negativen Eindrücke bestätigen. Das habe ich auch so erlebt!

Überteuert, eine normale Portion Reis mit Hühnchen 14,50€. Der Reis sowie das Hühnchen haben nach garnichts geschmeckt. Die Kellnerin war unfassbar unfreundlich.

Sehr nettes Personal und leckeres Essen. Die Räumlichkeiten sind in Ordnung und der Blick auf den Dom sehr toll. Die Portionen sind angemessen für den Preis. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker und die Bedienung sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Ambiente fühlt sich wie eine kleine Zeitreise an, aber wir lieben den Old school Charme wie aus unserer Kindheit. Unser chinesisches Lieblingsessen in Köln. Unser Pflichtprogramm 😊
