Yummy Town in Köln

We were invited to lunch. The staff was very attentive and friendly, but the lunch buffet was unfortunately a disappointment in terms of quality. Most of the dishes on offer were overcooked and all tasted the same. The ambiance was more reminiscent of a waiting room. A shame.

We were invited inside and were very impressed. Everything was fresh, varied, and sooooo delicious 😋 ! We were able to park for free right in front on the main street.

Unfortunately, it's slipped into the abyss...months ago it was still quite fine...now a lot of it is bland and tasteless...what a shame...

I was really looking forward to the all-you-can-eat offer, but was unfortunately completely disappointed. The food was very lightly seasoned overall. Everything tasted bland and uninspired. Even hearty dishes were surprisingly tasteless, as if they had completely omitted any spices. The selection was okay, but what good is that if none of it impresses? Unfortunately, this was by far the worst all-you-can-eat restaurant I've ever been to. I definitely wouldn't recommend it. There are far better alternatives.

Impresses with its good selection, freshness, and the unbeatable friendliness of the staff. Seafood, fish, and meat—everything is fresh and tasty. Good selection of vegetarian dishes and, of course, dessert. We celebrated my husband's birthday there and were delighted by the friendly staff and the good selection of food. We'll definitely be back!

Yes, the buffet is plentiful and varied. I didn't like the dessert selection, though. But otherwise, there's nothing to complain about.

Really nicely decorated. With lots of Asian accents. Clean and cozy. Lots of space for many guests. So that no table can disturb the other. The counter is easily accessible from all seats. Tables really nicely decorated. We really liked the “cabins” with the round tables. Service staff very helpful and friendly. What we really liked was that there was a lot of fish (seafood). There were also several types of meat, but since we only eat Halal, the fish was good for us. Lots of sauces and freely selectable vegetables for frying. The children were also looking forward to the additional finger food and the great desserts (ice cream, pudding, etc.). It's nice, tasty. Reasonably cheap. A big plus point is that you can also get the vouchers/food price from Groupon. It's just a shame that there was no substitute for the alcoholic welcome drink. We don't drink alcohol.

If you want to go to Chinese, then go to Lobten there. The freshly prepared food tastes great, the buffet is also great and varied, the price/performance ratio is right. Always happy.

If you don't have too many expectations, you won't be disappointed. The food isn't all good, the service doesn't look all but friendly, the furnishings are in the usual design, the room has a corresponding noise level. But you go home full

A huge selection of delicious food, from sushi, through seafood/fish, classic Asian dishes, to a huge selection of meats, which we choose raw, take to fry and the staff brings them ready to our table. A large selection of fruit, ice cream and other sweets. In addition, a pleasant atmosphere and decor of the room and delicious non-alcoholic beer. As soon as I'm nearby - I'll definitely come back!

I recently went to this wonderful Asian restaurant and absolutely loved it! I particularly liked the “all you can eat” buffet. There is a huge selection of fresh and delicious dishes from different Asian countries - from sushi to Asian wok dishes to delicious dim sum. Everything is not only incredibly tasty, but also beautifully prepared. The quality of the ingredients was excellent and you can tell that a lot of emphasis is placed on fresh and authentic preparation. I particularly liked the various starters and the large selection of different sauces that go perfectly with the dishes. The ambience of the restaurant is very welcoming and modern, with a cozy atmosphere. The service was also excellent - the staff were friendly, attentive and always served us quickly. For lovers of Asian cuisine, this restaurant is definitely a must! I will definitely come back and can only recommend it to anyone who would like to enjoy a lot of choice and quality in a buffet.

The food was not only incredibly tasty, but also extremely fresh, every dish was a delight. What was particularly impressive was that the food was regularly replenished so that there was a large selection available at all times. The atmosphere is extremely family friendly, which made our visit with a large group of 15 people particularly enjoyable. Despite our group size, we immediately got a nice seat and were able to enjoy the evening to the fullest. An all-round successful visit to the restaurant. We'll definitely be back!

The day before yesterday we had an appointment here for all you can eat. The buffet is small but nice. However, we didn't like the smell in the restaurant at all. It smelled of kitchen and garbage. It was very stuffy inside even though the door was open. To our shock, we discovered that right next to the Mongolian grill there was a station where the staff emptied and cleaned the plates. Um???? Can't you do this in the kitchen? That smelled so bad! This sight totally spoiled our appetite. Very unhygienic. We won't be coming back.

I was allowed to be a guest here on a Sunday afternoon. The freshly fried selection of meat and fish was very tasty. Otherwise the food was good, in my opinion there should have been a larger selection of fried noodles. The dessert was rather typical, but rounded things off well with a cup of coffee.

I've tried more than 50 Chinese buffet restaurants and i should say the variety of foods here is less than all the others.. Quality of dishes was ok (some below ok level!) and nothing special.. 2 staffs are managing the big salon which is not enough and only one chef for grill. Lack of enough staff took us more than 10 minutes for a wok dish! .. Pricing is not high but for what you have there is not cheap, let say it's ok too.. I'm not going to try this restaurant again..

Yummy town is definitely one of the better Asian all-you-can-eat shops in Cologne. The service is very friendly and committed every time you visit. The selection of food is large, although you should not forget that it is not a high-class restaurant but an all you can eat, which is designed for German tastes. I think it's completely fair. When you read the reviews, I get the impression that many people don't even notice the frying station. She is mainly the reason why we eat there. There is a large vegetarian selection and many vegan dishes are also possible. I don't think the reviews that complain about the quality and price are entirely justified. You get what you pay. The too good to go boxes are worth it every time. For €25 an evening it's pretty solid and if you're hungry then it's well worth it.

I'm a total Yummie Town Ultra! I've been coming here for 14 years and it's my favorite restaurant. You can be sure what you are getting every time because the quality and taste of the food is always the same. I especially love the Thai curry sauce and the selection of fresh fish and mussels. Yummie Town just never disappoints and makes me very happy!

If "Yummy" means tasty, it's not "Yummy" for me. I don't want to judge the service because I had a buffet - and it's difficult for me to judge the service at a buffet. And the ambience is nothing earth-shattering - just like in a typical Chinese restaurant.

We have often had birthday dinners here. Everyone always got what they wanted, there was something delicious for everyone, and you rarely had to wait longer for the buffet to be refilled. The selection at the Mongolian buffet is always fresh and varied, there is delicious fish, shrimp, various types of meat, vegetables and 9 different sauces to choose from. You then hand over the plate that will later be served at the table. The Asian dishes and sushi are always fresh and deliciously cooked. In addition, the service is friendly and accommodating. Overall, one of my favorite restaurants in Cologne and my declared number 1 for Asian buffet!

Today I had dinner there. Food was okay so far. Some of the meat I wanted to have fried was still raw. When it came to the bill, he wanted to cheat me and my family twice about the price and added €12. Until I said I was calling the police, then he gave me the normal bill. So not exactly recommended

All in all, I'm sorry but we were very disappointed today, especially the air conditioning was broken in this weather, the food was lukewarm and the cake selection was nothing. We won't be coming back

I celebrated my birthday (60) there. Nice atmosphere, courteous service and delicious food. There you can eat from a menu or buffet (we also have vegetarian meals on offer). The prices are absolutely right.

The buffet offers a variety of dishes, but unfortunately my visit was not entirely satisfactory. Although the food was edible, the taste left something to be desired. It was disappointing that it took over half an hour for dishes such as chicken and duck to be refilled. The meat for frying was also far too tough. Another negative point was that there were too few tongs - there was only one tong available for different types of meat such as kangaroo, deer and beef, and I also observed this with other dishes. At a hefty price of €25 just for the buffet, I expect more...

I called by phone. Ordered noodles to pick up. Was ready in under 10 minutes. Employee was very nice. There was also a 10% pick-up discount and the food was super tasty and a large portion that I was able to eat 1.5-2 times :)

The two of us went here for dinner, when we arrived the buffet was almost empty and nothing was replenished. Also, everything we took was lukewarm or cold, except what you give to the cook to fry. The service was ok. There were also a number of people eating, but the buffet was still not replenished... strange to ask the full price. The sushi had a lid on it, but that didn't stop the flies from getting under it and sitting on the sushi. Now the next day, very nauseous. Definitely not recommended.

The food was good but only after two hours we where thrown out there was no time limit told us and drinks usually start at about 2.50€ and a lunch menu costs 25.00€ per person so I see no value in coming in again
