Das Hähnchen wird kalt serviert, der gierige Chef serviert nicht einmal Wasser, selbst wenn man für über 100 € bestellt. Ihnen geht es nur ums Geld.

Das Essen war wirklich köstlich und die Portionen waren ordentlich, aber die Preise waren für deutsche Verhältnisse etwas hoch, vielleicht weil es sich im Stadtzentrum befindet.

Das Essen schmeckte furchtbar und war sehr teuer.

Ich habe vier Gerichte bestellt, aber nur eines gegessen. Warum? Das Sauerkraut mit Seebarsch war unglaublich fischig und geschmacklos; das Lamm mit Kreuzkümmel war rosa, was sehr seltsam war; das gesalzene Eigelb mit Maiskörnern war kaum genießbar, aber viel schlimmer als sonst. So ungenießbares chinesisches Essen habe ich in Nordrhein-Westfalen noch nie gegessen. Anbei ein Foto vom Essen danach. Ich möchte es nicht mit nach Hause nehmen. Ich wünsche dem Besitzer viel Erfolg mit seinem Restaurant! 🙂

Ich hasse China, aber mein Mund war chinafreundlich. Das wurde mir klar, nachdem ich in diesem Restaurant war. Die Aubergine mit Fischsauce ist wirklich köstlich. Ich war während meines Köln-Aufenthalts zweimal dort, nur um das zu essen. Zwei Gerichte und eine Flasche Wasser kosteten etwa 90.000 Won.

Wahnsinnig authentisches Essen, große Portionen, sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wir waren Samstagmittag zum Essen dort. Das Restaurant war überwiegend von Gästen mit chinesischem Hintergrund besucht, während wir zu den wenigen Touristen gehörten. Das spricht schon für sich.

Ich bestelle immer Yangzhou-gebratenen Reis, geschmorte Eier und geschmortes Schweinefleisch, wenn ich essen gehe. Obwohl ich seit Jahren weiß, dass es Fertiggerichte sind und der Preis ständig steigt, ist es einfach so lecker! Ein perfektes Essen für Stubenhocker.

Wir hatten auf unserer Bahnreise durch Europa einen Zwischenstopp und wohnten in einem Hotel direkt am Bahnhof. Wir waren eigentlich nur aus Bequemlichkeit hier, aber was für eine Entdeckung! Superfreundliches Personal, hervorragendes Essen (und reichlich davon). Das beste chinesische Restaurant, das ich seit Langem gegessen habe. Von außen sieht es unscheinbar aus, aber es lohnt sich absolut, hinzugehen.

Der Service war ausgezeichnet, Kreditkarten wurden akzeptiert, es gab eine Toilette, die Speisenauswahl war umfangreich und der Geschmack authentisch. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Der Reis war nicht ganz perfekt gekocht.

Der Geschmack ist authentisch, die Portionen sind großzügig und der Service ist gut. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Leider wurde uns am Telefon mitgeteilt das wir zum All you can eat reservieren können. Nach einer halbe Stunde warten trotz telefonischer Reservierung wurden uns mitgeteilt, dass es kein all you can eat gibt was einen als Kunde sehr ärgert.

Es handelt sich auf jeden Fall um ein authentisches Restaurant in sehr zentraler Lage. Meine Bestellung beinhaltete das Hähnchen in ganzen getrockneten Chilis. Der Preis war hoch, durch die Nähe zum Hauptbahnhof touristisch hoch, für die sehr überschaubare Menge an zerhackten Knochen mit Hähnchen leider nicht gerechtfertigt. Dazu eine Schüssel weißer Reis. Meine Bewertung bezieht sich auf das Gericht, welches ich nicht empfehlen kann.

Die Authentizität der Küche und die Qualität der Speisen sind unbestreitbar. Die Speisekarte ist übersichtlich gestaltet und erleichtert die Auswahl (eine schöne, abwechslungsreiche Karte mit vielen Optionen). Der Service ist sehr zuvorkommend und das Lokal hat eine saubere und gemütliche Atmosphäre.

Wir waren schon oft dort und das Essen schmeckt wirklich sehr gut. Auch für Veggies gibt es eine attraktive große Auswahl. Beim Gericht mit Kaninchen gab es leider heute ein Problem - der Zulieferer hackt die Sücke im Voraus und es befanden sich kleine, scharfe Knochensplitter im Essen. Die Betreiber haben uns aber versichert, dass das angesprochen und nicht mehr vorkommen wird.

Das Restaurant, geführt von Leuten aus Nordostchina, war klein, aber gut besucht. Ich bestellte mehrere Gerichte und einiges zum Mitnehmen. Das Essen war in Ordnung, nur die gedämpften Brötchen waren leider nicht durchgegart. Am Nachbartisch wurde versehentlich das falsche Gericht, süß-saures Schweinefleisch, serviert, das aber zurückging. Als ich an der Reihe war, wurde mir genau dieses Gericht empfohlen. Offenbar halten die Restaurantbesitzer ihre Kunden für ahnungslose Ausländer.

Wer in Köln wirklich authentische chinesische Küche sucht, sollte unbedingt ins Tang Wang gehen nur wenige Minuten vom Kölner Hauptbahnhof entfernt. Hier bekommt man Gerichte, die man so in den meisten chinesischen Restaurants in Deutschland gar nicht findet. Das Essen ist unglaublich aromatisch, spannend und einfach richtig lecker. Dazu ein sehr freundlicher Service, wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Die Speisekarte ist riesig, wir werden wahrscheinlich Jahre brauchen, um uns einmal durch alles zu probieren. Aber eins ist sicher: Beim nächsten Köln-Besuch kommen wir definitiv wieder.

Zu Besuch in Köln und mir wurde Tang Wang empfohlen. Ich wurde nicht enttäuscht, dass Essen war super. Ich hatte Di San Xian und einen Gurkensalat mit Knoblauch.

Ich wollte eigentlich Xiaolongbao und Shengjian probieren, aber die waren leider ausverkauft. Stattdessen habe ich die Yangzhou-Fleischbällchen genommen – die waren so lecker! 😋 Die Shanghai-Tante war total nett. Es gibt einfach so viele empfindliche Menschen da draußen, was soll man machen? 😂 Shanghai-Tante, nimm es nicht so übel! Sei einfach du selbst! 😋

Immer noch top! Nach so vielen Jahren gibt es hier authentische chinesische Gerichte, für die sich ein erneuter Besuch lohnt. Es war etwas voll, daher hat es etwas gedauert, aber alles war so lecker wie früher. Die handgemachten Siu Long Bao könnten allerdings etwas saftiger sein. Tolles, freundliches Personal.

Ich hatte Lust auf Reis, wollte aber nicht extra nach Deutschland fahren, um koreanisch zu essen, also suchte ich nach chinesischem Essen. Es war das beste Mapo Tofu, das ich je gegessen habe. Auch das Schweinebauchgericht war superlecker! Toll fand ich auch, dass die Reisportion großzügig war und in einer Schüssel serviert wurde. Die Bedienung war chinesisch, und obwohl ich kein Deutsch und sie kein Englisch sprechen, hatten wir keine Probleme beim Bestellen und alle waren sehr freundlich. Die Rechnung für zwei Personen belief sich auf 41,50 Euro (plus ein Bier).

Das Restaurant liegt günstig in der Nähe des Hauptbahnhofs und bietet authentische Küche. Sie konnten sogar unsere große Gruppe am Heiligabend bewirten. Wir bekamen eine riesige Drehplatte. Es war so kalt, dass uns Jasmintee angeboten wurde. Es wurde ständig nachgeschenkt, wir mussten gar nicht danach fragen. Das Essen war ein wahrhaft großartiges kulinarisches Erlebnis. Wir hatten Teigtaschen, Eiersuppe, Schweinefleisch und Garnelen. Wir bekamen so viel Reis, wie wir wollten. Am nächsten Abend, dem ersten Weihnachtsfeiertag, mussten wir unbedingt wiederkommen, weil wir die Kürbiskuchen-Donuts probieren wollten. Alle Kellner waren überaus freundlich und haben unser Abendessen am Heiligabend und am ersten Weihnachtsfeiertag zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis gemacht.

We were here for our boss's Christmas party at his request. Since there were 13 of us, we were served in the staff room (there wasn't a table big enough in the restaurant). I found this unpleasant for both myself (us) and the staff (they now had nowhere to eat or retreat). The food was good. The service was okay – they just didn't always notice when someone needed it. However, the fact that we were served in their staff room was very considerate (even though I didn't like the room itself).

Beim heutigen Besuch hatte mich sehr auf Dumplings gefreut und diese im Restaurant bestellt. Leider handelte es sich herbei um Industrie Ware. Die Füllung war eine Enttäuschung, meine Erwartungen waren höher. kein Umami, keine Tiefe, keine Seele im Essen. Sowas gehört nicht in ein Restaurant zum Verkauf angeboten! Der Service ist 1a. Die Gerichte der anderen Kunden sahen optisch gut aus.

I used to order from here quite often, but lately I've often picked it up myself. The service is always very friendly, attentive, and helpful. All dishes are delivered in generous portions and are of excellent quality. Highly recommended: Koon Po chicken (definitely the best in town!), eggplant stew, the braised beef, or the chicken gizzard with garlic sprouts.

I had a fantastic experience at this Chinese restaurant! The dishes were freshly prepared and bursting with flavor. I especially recommend the Kung Pao chicken – it was perfectly seasoned and the texture was simply amazing. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the meal even more enjoyable. For me, as a European, it was traditional Chinese cuisine. Well-seasoned. We had a selection of different dishes and tried them all.

I went to the Wangtang Chinese restaurant in Cologne for dinner tonight, very close to the main train station. The restaurant offers relatively authentic Chinese cuisine, much closer to the original than many other Chinese restaurants in Germany. There were three of us, and we tried several dishes. The dumplings and ribs weren't quite to our liking, but all the other dishes were really good and freshly prepared. The price-performance ratio is also excellent: we paid just under €100 for the entire dinner, including water and beer, which is absolutely fair for the quantity and quality. The service was friendly, card payments are accepted, and the restaurant is very easy to reach thanks to its central location. Overall, I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to try authentic Chinese cuisine in Cologne.

Tang Wang's Uber Eats is really bad. We ordered five dishes and waited 1.5 hours for them, with the delivery driver's excuse being that he was busy with other customers. It's best to order there yourself!

Good food, fast serving, reasonable price.

There was a Shanghainese woman in the store who was incredibly rude. When I said I didn't need a drink, just plain water, her demeanor suddenly changed, becoming dismissive and even sarcastic. It was truly terrifying. Finally, after I yelled at her behind her back a few times, she finally started to pretend to change her attitude.

If you, like me, can’t really handle spicy food, this place is definitely your go-to! The pork knuckle is braised until perfectly tender—rich and delicious ૮₍ᵔ⤙ᵔ ₎ა. The tofu was a bit on the plain side, as the flavors didn’t quite soak in. The stir-fried garlic shoots with dried tofu was excellent—fragrant and very satisfying with rice. And the Spicy Salty Chops had a surprising hint of KFC vibes—crispy, savory, and addictive. Overall, it’s a great spot if you want hearty, flavorful food without being overwhelmed by heat.

We wanted to grab a quick bite to eat at this restaurant, towards the end of a trip into town, before taking the train back home. Unfortunately, I had completely misjudged how long our stay at the restaurant would be, so we had to leave quite abruptly to catch our train. Our food was then quickly refilled so we could take it with us – truly fantastic service. Furthermore, the noodles we had there were simply delicious, and the duck was excellently cooked and seasoned.

Excellent quality, each dish with its own unique spice and flavor profile! Chinese cuisine you don't get to enjoy very often in Germany. Top-notch service, very friendly, and excellent coordination when ordering. Always a feast! (Personal favorite: Northern Chinese eggplant stew with minced pork :) )

It was already quite late in the evening. We were still offered a seat and were able to order food. The service was very friendly, and the food arrived very quickly. As for the food itself: One of the best Chinese restaurants...😊 We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Cologne. The Palatinate people from Rhodt 😉

I visited this place because they said it was the closest thing to a Korean-style Chinese restaurant in Cologne. They sell guo bao rou, which is hard to find here. I’m not sure if this is what Chinese guo bao rou is like, but it wasn’t crispy or chewy. It just felt like eating thinly fried meat. The sauce was surprisingly like the Cantonese ketchup sauce I used to eat when I was young. The kids liked it. The adults actually liked the Hongso pork that we ordered together. The staff was friendly. By the way, rice is not free. When I first got here, I couldn’t find the entrance, so I got lost a little. You have to go under the Geffel am Dom sign, not the door under the sign.

Located directly at Cologne Central Station, you can order Asian dishes here. Unlike the Thai and Vietnamese restaurants in the city, this is a great place to discover new dishes. From chicken feet or duck tongues for starters to dishes like rice with duck, there's a wide selection. The ambiance isn't exactly amazing, but that's not a problem in this context. This is a good place to try something new. But classic dishes are also highly recommended.

All the noodles in this store are terrible. Don’t order them. A bowl of noodles is really terrible. It costs 13 to 14 euros and more than a hundred yuan to make this taste. I’m too lazy to say that when I got up in the morning, I went to have breakfast. It made me full of garbage.

Great taste. I was going to go to a Korean restaurant nearby, but there were no seats, so I ended up going to a Chinese restaurant. The white guy in the back seat spoke Chinese, and judging by the way he treated me like I was meeting a brother, it seemed like he would give better service if I spoke Chinese. Still, the staff are a bit busy, but the service isn't bad. The mapo tofu was delicious and the cucumber salad was really delicious.

The restaurant doesn't look particularly inviting from the outside. But since we were hungry after a long journey, we went in there without any great expectations and were really surprised. There was a large selection of “real” Chinese food. Our food was fresh and seasoned first-class. Actually the best Chinese food we've eaten in years. The staff was friendly and quick. We have a clear recommendation!

This is authentic Chinese food. Good quality and worth to travel from other city. If you are looking for some mild and boring Asia Imbis this is not your place, please come back home and eat your Kartoffelsalat with some bread. 😉

Great atmosphere and the food is sensational. We normally go here with our Chinese suppliers, who order all the food based on our wishes. The food is the best Chinese food I’ve had, the dishes are very large (meant for sharing), the service is excellent and the atmosphere great. Highly recommend.

The lady boss was very nice. It was already closed when I went there on the first night. She was afraid that I would be hungry and gave me some rice and meat. I was extremely touched. The food and service were very fast. She always reminded me to be careful about the bags in big cities. The boss lady packed some leftovers from lunch and put them in the store for me to pick up when I eat again in the evening. The dishes are all authentic and the rice is super fragrant. Possibly one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in a restaurant. The waitress was completely rude, even aggressive from the moment we came in. She sat us on a dirty table with dirty plates on it. Then she was shouting at us, throwing the menus on the table. (Woman around 50 years old with a red sweater and a black vest) We thought she might’ve been just a little stressed and decided to stay. Terrible decision. She kept yelling at us, throwing the plates randomly on the table. Food was not worth the price, but the worst was when I noticed she was putting the rice from dirty bowls back into the rice pot. Absolutely disgusting. We immediately stopped eating and asked for the bill. The waitress was completely rude again and she charged us an 8€ tip WITHOUT ASKING US which I think is actually illegal. When we asked about it she gave us a 5€ bill and asked us to leave. Please avoid this place at any cost. Not only for the terrible service, but the sanitary conditions.

Very authentic Chinese food from different regions of the country. Large portions and very tasty and varied. To order, pictures of all the dishes are printed on the menu. Unfortunately the atmosphere is a bit unimaginative, but the food is outstanding! Many Chinese tourists visit the restaurant, which indicates the authenticity of the restaurant.

I thought for a long time whether I should give 3 or 4 stars... A friend and I went to this restaurant because it was on our way and we actually wanted to go to another restaurant, which was unfortunately closed. But we were excited about this alternative. First of all, we were quickly and friendly brought to our table. The menu is very large, we sat at a very small table for two, it was too cramped with the literally huge cards :D but I don't want to complain too much about it, because it's really great that you can almost every dish has a picture. The staff was friendly too. The reason I'm having a bit of a hard time with the rating is because there were quite long waiting times. We came in when the store was just opening and it wasn't particularly busy yet. We were able to order fairly quickly, but the wait for the food to arrive was a bit long. We ordered pork belly with egg, water spinach and xiao long baos (soup dumplings). What also surprised me was the order in which the food was brought. It wasn't the dumplings that came, as we first thought, but rather the water spinach and the rice. Since I would have liked to eat the water spinach with the pork belly, we waited a while. But at some point we started because it took too long - the water spinach and rice were almost cold. Then it wasn't the pork belly that came, but rather the dumplings. By the time the pork belly arrived, the water spinach was finally cold and almost completely eaten (even though we had already delayed it). This greatly diminished the culinary experience for me personally. However, the food itself was tasty (pork belly only had a very high fat content, not a negative point, just a note. I often eat pork belly, but it was very fatty. But if you like it very fatty, this is the right place for you). But the eggs with the pork were even better, perfect consistency and taste. Water spinach was also tasty, but as I said, at some point it was already cold and less edible. The Xiao Long Baos were also good and very large in my opinion. In the end I unfortunately decided on 3 stars because cold food is actually a no-go, the order of the courses was a bit strange and the prices were too high (a portion of pork belly already cost €18.80 - water spinach was around which cost 16€). The price is similar in other restaurants, but you should be served warm, if not hot, food (which you can also enjoy hot). What I found quite good in terms of price were the Xiao Long Baos for around €12 - there were plenty of them (8 pieces) and they were large. In general, the portions were large, but the two of us couldn't finish everything and took some home with us. Conclusion: If the order of the courses had been correct and the waiting time for the 2nd and 3rd courses hadn't been so long (1st course got cold), I would have liked to give 4 stars. I may come back again and try out more dishes as the authenticity is there and they have a really wide range of dishes. If it were to be better, I would of course adjust my rating accordingly.

There is very tasty food here. Everything is made fresh. That means you have to wait a bit. But it's worth it. Highly recommended.

I've been here many times, and every time I order the fish-flavored eggplant stew. Today I had the braised pork with pickled vegetables, which was also delicious. recommend!
