Their braised pork is the best I have had in Germany in the past few years ~ the service is also very good, I will bring friends to eat next time

The restaurant doesn't look particularly inviting from the outside. But since we were hungry after a long journey, we went in there without any great expectations and were really surprised. There was a large selection of “real” Chinese food. Our food was fresh and seasoned first-class. Actually the best Chinese food we've eaten in years. The staff was friendly and quick. We have a clear recommendation!

It’s not at the same level as the Soup King in Dusseldorf. I’m so disappointed. Chinese people don’t lie to Chinese people. It’s hard for me to imagine that chefs just fry frozen products and sell them.

This was my first time experiencing the original taste of China and it was very delicious :) If it's a little salty, eat it with rice and the flavor will continue! And the hostess was very kind (Do you want more food? Do you need anything? etc.), so I ate happily and left!

Very good dining experience! Since the train was late and it was almost 3 o'clock when we arrived at the store, the boss still treated me warmly and gave me a pot of jasmine tea. The food is served very quickly, tastes authentic, and the rice is generous. It can be said to be the best Chinese restaurant in Cologne and even the entire state of North Rhine-Westphalia.

Great atmosphere and the food is sensational. We normally go here with our Chinese suppliers, who order all the food based on our wishes. The food is the best Chinese food I’ve had, the dishes are very large (meant for sharing), the service is excellent and the atmosphere great. Highly recommend.

The lady boss was very nice. It was already closed when I went there on the first night. She was afraid that I would be hungry and gave me some rice and meat. I was extremely touched. The food and service were very fast. She always reminded me to be careful about the bags in big cities. The boss lady packed some leftovers from lunch and put them in the store for me to pick up when I eat again in the evening. The dishes are all authentic and the rice is super fragrant. It’s not easy to eat such authentic Chinese food in Germany

The waiters were very friendly and attentive. I forgot my coat at the restaurant three months ago. Possibly one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in a restaurant. The waitress was completely rude, even aggressive from the moment we came in. She sat us on a dirty table with dirty plates on it. Then she was shouting at us, throwing the menus on the table. (Woman around 50 years old with a red sweater and a black vest) We thought she might’ve been just a little stressed and decided to stay. Terrible decision. She kept yelling at us, throwing the plates randomly on the table. Food was not worth the price, but the worst was when I noticed she was putting the rice from dirty bowls back into the rice pot. Absolutely disgusting. We immediately stopped eating and asked for the bill. The waitress was completely rude again and she charged us an 8€ tip WITHOUT ASKING US which I think is actually illegal. When we asked about it she gave us a 5€ bill and asked us to leave. Please avoid this place at any cost. Not only for the terrible service, but the sanitary conditions.

First of all, the environment of the restaurant is not as good as expected, the hygiene situation is worrying, and there are food residues from the previous guest on the table that have not been cleaned up. The waiter's attitude was also very indifferent, with almost no awareness of proactive service, and he seemed very impatient when ordering. In addition, the serving speed was extremely slow. I had to wait for almost an hour before the first dish was served. Overall, this experience was very bad and the price-performance ratio was extremely low. Very authentic Chinese food from different regions of the country. Large portions and very tasty and varied. To order, pictures of all the dishes are printed on the menu. Unfortunately the atmosphere is a bit unimaginative, but the food is outstanding! Many Chinese tourists visit the restaurant, which indicates the authenticity of the restaurant.

I thought for a long time whether I should give 3 or 4 stars... A friend and I went to this restaurant because it was on our way and we actually wanted to go to another restaurant, which was unfortunately closed. But we were excited about this alternative. First of all, we were quickly and friendly brought to our table. The menu is very large, we sat at a very small table for two, it was too cramped with the literally huge cards :D but I don't want to complain too much about it, because it's really great that you can almost every dish has a picture. The staff was friendly too. The reason I'm having a bit of a hard time with the rating is because there were quite long waiting times. We came in when the store was just opening and it wasn't particularly busy yet. We were able to order fairly quickly, but the wait for the food to arrive was a bit long. We ordered pork belly with egg, water spinach and xiao long baos (soup dumplings). What also surprised me was the order in which the food was brought. It wasn't the dumplings that came, as we first thought, but rather the water spinach and the rice. Since I would have liked to eat the water spinach with the pork belly, we waited a while. But at some point we started because it took too long - the water spinach and rice were almost cold. Then it wasn't the pork belly that came, but rather the dumplings. By the time the pork belly arrived, the water spinach was finally cold and almost completely eaten (even though we had already delayed it). This greatly diminished the culinary experience for me personally. However, the food itself was tasty (pork belly only had a very high fat content, not a negative point, just a note. I often eat pork belly, but it was very fatty. But if you like it very fatty, this is the right place for you). But the eggs with the pork were even better, perfect consistency and taste. Water spinach was also tasty, but as I said, at some point it was already cold and less edible. The Xiao Long Baos were also good and very large in my opinion. In the end I unfortunately decided on 3 stars because cold food is actually a no-go, the order of the courses was a bit strange and the prices were too high (a portion of pork belly already cost €18.80 - water spinach was around which cost 16€). The price is similar in other restaurants, but you should be served warm, if not hot, food (which you can also enjoy hot). What I found quite good in terms of price were the Xiao Long Baos for around €12 - there were plenty of them (8 pieces) and they were large. In general, the portions were large, but the two of us couldn't finish everything and took some home with us. Conclusion: If the order of the courses had been correct and the waiting time for the 2nd and 3rd courses hadn't been so long (1st course got cold), I would have liked to give 4 stars. I may come back again and try out more dishes as the authenticity is there and they have a really wide range of dishes. If it were to be better, I would of course adjust my rating accordingly.

Not quite as nicely decorated and unfortunately our service was unable to do so due to... Language barrier doesn't really understand us. Nevertheless, it was a successful evening. The food tasted very good and the portions were huge. One meal would have easily been enough for the two of us. Unfortunately the food didn't come at the same time. Gladly again! Don't bother with delivery. Tried 'Hotline' 3x times very busy one time I got through they just breathed into the phone for 30 seconds saying nothing then hung up.

I went here for dinner with my mother based on a recommendation and to be honest I was disappointed. I ordered the Glass Noodle Pot and the Steamed Shanghai Dumplings. Neither was satisfactory. The glass noodles were still really hard and the soup/broth had hardly any taste, salt didn't help. The minced meat also left something to be desired. The dumplings weren't good either. Edible, yes, but tasty is something else. Meat wasn't seasoned properly and the skin wasn't good either. There was also a lot of vinegar in the soy/vinegar sauce, which didn't help the taste either. All in all really disappointing, I wouldn't go there again.

This restaurant is near our hotel and station. Had our dinner and food is delicious, authentic chinese food. Highly recommended for diners looking for chinese food in cologne.

Went for dinner yesterday. The food tasted okay, but there were some areas that could be improved. For example: a €18 taro duck stew was all bones and no meat, only duck neck and wings (a pity). If you charge such a price, you shouldn't give these ingredients to customers. I no longer recommend eating pig ears and pot stickers. The pig ears are no longer layered like before, but just ordinary braised pig ears. The pot stickers are not actually pot stickers, they are just fried dumplings, and they are too dry. But his sausage soup noodles, salt and pepper pork ribs and white meat with jelly are really delicious.

This Chinese food is completely approved by me. I am from Chongqing. I ate fish-flavored shredded pork and boiled beef twice-cooked pork before and after Sichuan cuisine. I had fried eggplant and mapo tofu, and it was one of the best Chinese foods I had in Germany. It didn't feel cheap, but I think it was worth the price.

If I have time and hunger before the train ride, I go here. Very nice service, the food was great, even if I didn't dare eat the numerous authentic Chinese dishes. It takes a while, and the atmosphere isn't exactly particularly cozy, but that doesn't bother me. Will definitely come back.

I don’t know if the chef has been changed, but the quality of the dishes has dropped a lot compared to before, especially the noodles with super thick skin. The dumplings are okay, but the Xiao Long Bao has such a thick skin that it is almost inedible.

The taste is okay, the price is very expensive... a small portion of vegetables for 15€, I have no idea how they calculate it when meat dishes cost almost the same. The facility is not comfortable.

When I came a few years ago, luckily my friend made a reservation in advance and the food was very delicious. I made a special detour when I came to Germany this time and was very disappointed. Most of the dishes can only be said to be average and have no special characteristics. The cumin mutton is fried mutton slices with some cumin particles sprinkled on it. The most disappointing thing was the Xiaolong soup dumplings and pot stickers. The skin was so thick that I doubted life, and there was no chewiness at all. The boss came over to ask for our opinion. We said that the other good thing was that the thickness of the skin was exaggerated (we ate the stuffing inside and it was hard to swallow). The boss took one look and said, "Oh, that's it." Left... 7.30 When we left, there were four tables in total, and we were the only one Chinese. It seemed like the locals understood.

Very nice location, very nice service and absolutely authentic, delicious food. Therefore, please note that 1 chilli is already quite spicy for the German palate. Personally, I wouldn't trust myself with 3 chillies. The eggplant pot with very subtle minced meat was a taste experience. Lovely again.

Pretty bare and uncomfortable. There could still be improvements. P.S. There were dumplings pork and shrimp type. Beans Shanghai. A bit spicy but I love it. Pork belly with soy. Buttery tender. You couldn't grab it with your chopsticks at all.

Great food and service, we were sat down and served straight away, the fresh dumplings take half an hour to steam - this is what they tell you. The leftovers of what you ordered are packed up to take away and you are given instructions on how best to warm them up. All in all great, would love to come back.

This place is a hidden gem. Next to the main train station in Cologne. The food was delicious, I'm surprised we haven't found this place before. I recommend the pork knuckle (on the picture) and the Bao Buns (they were so good we didn't have time to take any pictures).

We visited this place for family lunch. Some Chinese group tourists came after us. Despite ordering ahead, we had to wait over 45 minutes to get ours. Even a lady next to our table ordered lately but they even finished their dishes before our food came. The serving old lady was so unkind. She just said wait wait and we had to wait 45 minutes looking at other Chinese tourist getting food more faster than us. If you are not Chinese and cannot speak Chinese to get food faster, I don't recommend this place.

我们下午六点到的 进去的时候有四张桌子 点了四个菜 二十分钟上了个凉菜 切个皮蛋要二十分钟 等了一个小时后 我俩催了两遍 都被敷衍了 然后没办法只能再催 一个半小时上齐了所有菜 一起点菜的隔壁桌已经吃完了 只能说没有三个小时吃饭时间的人别来！！！！菜油特别大！

6个菜一小时还没上完。两个冷菜在我点完餐后半小时才上一个菜。冷菜没上 、汤先上、接着上青菜。好家伙这也行。味道不是很完美。口水鸡太甜、酸菜鱼太油、四季豆都是味精 。还有三个菜到我们饮料喝饱了，也没闻到一丝丝味道。很失望…….

Hier kann man Gerichte probieren, die man nich nie probiert hatte. Hatte die Innereien in Schweineblut. Klingt sicherlich nicht sofort für jeden lecker, aber es schmeckt phantastisch. Die Gerichte kommen in einer ordentlichen Portionsgröße. Reis kostet 1€ extra. Dafür kriegt man bis zum Abwinken. Es gibt eine sehr große Auswahl an Gerichten. Wenn da steht "sehr scharf", solltenan genug Getränke bestellt haben. Der Service ist sehr gut. Man wird regelmäßig nach weiteren Wünschen gefragt. Restaurant ist etwas laut, aber noch okay. Etwas Musik wäre nett.

Das Essen hier ist sehr gut und lecker. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr nett und zuvorkommend und auch sehr schnell am Tisch, wenn man was benötigt. Das Ambiente ist ebenfalls asiatisch gehalten. Für Personen, die Asiatisches Essen mögen und auch mal Asien in Deutschland kennenlernen möchten kann ich dieses Restaurant nur empfehlen. Die Lage ist auch unbezahlbar, da es direkt am Hbf ist.

Gleich beim Eintreten wird einem der Eindruck vermittelt man ist nicht erwünscht. Die Karte wird einem so nebenbei gebracht ohne einem anzuschauen. Nach mehr als einer Viertelstunde warten gingen wir wieder ohne das sich jemand die mühe machte unsere Essens- oder Getränke Bestellung aufzunehmen.

Ich weiß nicht wo ich anfangen soll… Nachdem wir bestellt hatten, warteten wir eine Stunde und bekamen nach einander im 10 Minuten Takt unser Essen ( Zum Teil auch schon kalt). Dann bemerkten wir, wie andere Gäste die nach uns ankamen direkt ihr Essen bekamen. Als wir versuchten die Bedienungen auf uns aufmerksam zu machen wurden wir ignoriert. Nicht nur das wir lange auf unser Essen warten mussten war unangenehm, sondern auch das wirklich gar nichts geschmeckt hat! Als wir eine Bedienung darüber informierten, hat sie uns abgewimmelt und ist gegangen. Zu guter letzt wurde uns falsches Rückgeld rausgegeben( 2€) die sie behalten wollen. Kann ich auf keinen Fall empfehlen!

Been there a couple times now, the first time i was a bit schocked because it was pretty good and didnt expect it. Today i had the beef with potatoes and szechaun chilis it was very tasty for my taste buds.I ll visit soon enough to try more.
