Delicious food, friendly service

The restaurant is currently closed in April 2024. However, they offer a pick-up service with prior telephone ordering. First of all: We have known and liked the restaurant for more than 25 years and we have always been treated very politely and courteously, even when our daughter was small and sometimes uncontrollable or we had the strangest special requests. We were always very satisfied and the food was always of excellent quality and really tasty. Maintaining this quality for a quarter of a century is great! We no longer live in the area, but we still enjoy coming here again and again. There are some parking spaces right in front of the door. The entrance is also renovated...if the toilet wasn't in the basement. We've eaten here many times, but it seems less busy now that there's this big new Asian place nearby. Four of us were there this evening and ate a buffet for 14.90. The food was fresh and hot and everything was always refilled quickly. In addition to the usual fried things like vegetables, wontons, squid rings, mini spring rolls, etc., there was a selection of sushi and the opportunity to choose fresh ingredients and have them fried. There was also a good selection of ready-made dishes such as beef with onions... nice and spicy... breaded chicken, crispy duck, fried noodles, and of course hot food, pudding and nice fresh fruit. The service was attentive and courteous. We had a wonderful evening with muted music. Criticism; the unsightly toilets.

Buffet with great variety and quite rich

The lunch buffet [18 € per person including two drinks with a maximum stay of 90 minutes] is very varied with freshly prepared dishes. The clearing service for used dishes is very attentive. When the weather is nice you can sit outside. A large parking lot is available on site.

Sehr enttäuschend: lange Wartezeit bis wir überhaupt bestellen konnten. Die Getränke und Vorspeise (Suppe und Frühlingsrollen) kamen nach langem Warten. Nachdem wir dann 2 Stunden auf den Hauptgang gewartet haben, sind wir gegangen ohne zu essen. Die Bedienung wirkte gestresst und unfreundlich. In dieses Lokal gehen wir nie wieder.

We went to this restaurant at 9pm and unfortunately had a very bad experience. The service was catastrophic - the employees barely spoke German and were unfriendly. We were literally pressured to eat quickly instead of being able to enjoy our food in peace. The buffet was very small, the food was cold and hard. In addition, we were only allowed to eat from the buffet once even though we paid the full price - that's just outrageous! The billing was particularly annoying: We were assured that our 5-year-old child would have to pay less, but on the bill the price was suddenly more expensive. Overall very poor service, poor food and questionable billing practices. I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant! 1.5 stars.

Very quiet and small restaurant with very nice staff:) Price-performance ratio is very good and the selection is also very large. Food was prepared quickly and also very tasty :)

I would not recommend it at all. The food is of poor quality and I felt sick afterwards, which speaks for itself. The service was even worse: incredibly disrespectful and unfriendly. You are literally looked at askance, as if you were not welcome. The prices are completely excessive for the service. The cleanliness also leaves a lot to be desired, which makes the whole experience even more unpleasant. Here online too, the way customers are treated is simply abysmal and sometimes even racist - that is unacceptable and speaks volumes about the "customer friendliness".

Since I like Asian food and the restaurant is only a few kilometers away from me, I have been here a few dozen times. Nothing extraordinary but really always good. The service is always very friendly.

The food is delicious. Good service. Clean toilets. You only pay for the drinks, the prices for them are also average. I recommend it!

Authentic Chinese restaurant at the market place in Konstanz My last visit to the Chinese restaurant at the Marktstätte in Konstanz was a very positive experience. As soon as you enter the restaurant you can feel the authentic atmosphere: the path leads directly to the first floor, where you take a seat in a typically Chinese ambience. The decoration is simple, but it gives you the feeling of actually being in China - a nice first impression. I chose a classic combination: rice with egg and chicken. The portion was extremely generous and would have easily been enough for two people. The rice and chicken were incredibly tender - almost like butter on the tongue. There was also soy sauce, which rounded off the taste perfectly. As a drink I chose a refreshment that also went well with the food. The prices are moderate and more than reasonable for the quality and portion size. Particularly noteworthy is the service: friendly, attentive and with a sense of the guests' wishes. You feel welcome, no matter where you come from. As a Viennese, I was warmly welcomed, which made the experience even more pleasant. Conclusion: The Chinese restaurant at the market place in Konstanz is a real insider tip! Authentic food, generous portions, fair prices and impressive service. Among the many Chinese restaurants in Konstanz, this one particularly stands out. I'll definitely be happy to come back!
