The buffet is old and stale, the crispy chicken was dried out, and the buffet was only refilled upon request. So, you can't really call it fresh. On top of that, the dishes are cracked and dirty in places. €32 for a half-stocked buffet and dirty dishes is just outrageous.

There's no service because it's self-service, and the food, at least at the buffet, is unfortunately lukewarm to cold and not particularly fresh. The ambiance is okay, but the food isn't going to keep you long anyway. It's a shame, but one visit is enough to know that a second visit is out of the question!

Great food, self serve but very receptive servers constantly tending to your table and the buffet.

The all-you-can-eat buffet is very tasty, in the evening you can even put together your own food from the hot stone, and in the evenings two glasses of wine or beer are included. And there is a chocolate fountain, it is all self-service and quite delicious.

I came at night so buffet was a bit pricey at 32€ compared to other Chinese buffets. But the food was so delicious and there was a wide variety so it was worth it. My only con is that no one came to my table to pick up dirty plates while I was dining and didn't get any drinks either. Other than that, I really love this place.

The all-you-can-eat lunch buffet at China City in Echterdingen was unfortunately mediocre. The food itself was okay, but absolutely no refills were made. Many dishes were already gone by 1 p.m., even though the buffet officially runs until 3 p.m. I find that weak and disappointing. I was also charged extra for a beer, even though the ad stated "2 drinks of your choice or 1 drink + coffee." The fact that beer is only valid once isn't mentioned – even if another person only had one drink. For the price, the service offered is unfortunately too poor overall and not recommended.

A superb selection of "EVERYTHING": salad, soup, rice, pasta, potatoes in various variations, sauces, breaded meat or with vegetables... including "SUSHI," dessert with ice cream, and fruit with a giant chocolate fountain... "LIVE COOKING": assemble your plate of frozen vegetables, fish, and meat and give it to the chef..... Drinks were also included..... Simply fantastic

Five stars are really not enough for what this place has to offer. I was there yesterday with my husband, and everything was absolutely fantastic. From the food to the desserts! The freshly prepared food counter was a hit with my husband. The staff was also very friendly, and we received a warm welcome at the door. We will definitely come back here 😌

There's parking right next door and a few places to sit outside. The location is great, right near the A8 and B27 motorways. The staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet was beautifully presented, and almost everything was fresh. There was plenty of choice, and there was also the option to have things freshly fried. I think the flat-rate drinks package for the buffet is great, and there are such great drinks to choose from. The food was delicious, and the highlight was the fountain and the gummy bears for my children. I was very satisfied. €31 is a great price. Thanks for the great experience.

The selection is great – from warm dishes and noodles to dim sum, sushi, and desserts – and everything tastes fresh and authentic. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the place is clean and welcoming. It’s perfect for family dinners or group gatherings. Great value for the price – we’ll definitely be back!

Never had such bad food. Our hotel reception had already told us the food was bad, but we're not picky about food. So we went anyway. You pay 32 euros per person for cold food. And food that's out of date. They told us they don't refill it after 8:00 PM. We arrived at 9:00 PM. It would have been nice if they had told us it was cold, otherwise we wouldn't have sat down. All the meat wasn't fresh, discolored, and brown. The fish was covered in white spots. The fruit was also brown. Ugh, not really worth 32 euros. After trying a few things that were definitely out of date, we left. NEVER had such bad food. Chicken and fish products, people, please read the other reviews; they're out of date and dangerous. Unfortunately, I can't add photos.

If you don't mind serving from hot plates, which is unavoidable at a buffet, there's a very good selection of the usual "Chinese" dishes here. Starters, salads, sushi, and desserts are also plentiful. For the current price, including two drinks, it's almost unbeatable during the week and on Saturday afternoons. Kids will always find something to eat, making it suitable for families. If you prefer pan-fried food, go to the Mongolian Grill. It's slightly more expensive. Be careful, the shellfish here are usually not properly gutted, but the selection is still huge.

When you go to a restaurant, you want to eat in peace and not be given strange looks or rudely told to please clean your plate. The owners treat the employees like they're animals. The restrooms are extremely dirty. Plates aren't washed. It can't possibly be the fault of just one employee. And if you know there's a problem with it, you check it ten times to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Since the chef change, the food has tasted terrible. The food sits on the grill, and the "chef" walks around the empty restaurant, busying himself with other things. I've been served dead meat three times (very tough and inedible). Even after I asked them not to cook the meat for so long, the meat came back leathery. Please hire an Asian chef or no chef at all. The quality of the meat has also declined significantly, and the buffet smelled foul. What a shame! Hire a new chef and ensure good quality meat... otherwise, I won't be coming back.

No one should work here because they don't want to give me an employment contract. I asked for it, but they fired me. They have a dishwasher that's been in operation for 20 years, so we don't wash the dishes. The meat smells because it's expired. We're reporting it to the relevant authorities in Stuttgart.

Ugh, ugh, ugh. The food doesn't even deserve a star! All the dishes at the buffet weren't even lukewarm. The quality was poor. Very unfriendly staff, and the price is outrageous. 31 euros for adults and 19 euros for children!!!! Above all, you only find out the price when you pay. No menu, no information, nothing! Mussels, sushi, and shrimp are never fresh! Yuck! If you have the nerve to have your food fried, you first have to find someone to prepare it, and then you get an unfriendly look. The plates are unwashed and dirty, the meat is disgusting, and the staff are rude. This is a recommendation bar for the food, which is very toxic. I've had it for three days.

The entrance looks quite nice, but unfortunately, there are a lot of smokers here. I find the ambiance inside quite appealing; the tables are close together, but acceptable. It's quite loud, but that's to be expected with so many people. We were able to get drinks ourselves as often and as much as we wanted; I didn't notice any monitoring. The service didn't say anything about the food when a plate wasn't finished. Sushi was good, but a bit more selection would have been nice. The buffet dishes were good; I didn't try everything. They were replenished quite quickly. When we were there, the restaurant was about 60-70% full. I really like the curry sauce. Unfortunately, the peanut sauce was watery and not good. I didn't like the grilled dishes; the scampi and salmon had a strange, pungent smell; the food was fried to death, but also cooked through and not raw. The raw grilled food looked fresh and appetizing. The desserts are OK, but the ice cream you can take home becomes quite unappealing after a short time. Horrible business. The crab fish aren't fresh, like they've been sitting for two months. Horrible, and because of them, a young man was poisoned and they called an ambulance. Horrible, and two other children have stomachaches, simply horrible!!! We won't be coming here again, and the staff is terrible and rude, and when we said the person was sick, they said we just didn't want to pay.

Das Restaurant bietet angeblich ein “All Inclusive”-Angebot für 30 Euro an, aber in Wirklichkeit ist es alles andere als entspannt. Nicht nur wird man ständig beobachtet – das Personal kommt aktiv an den Tisch, verlangt, dass man den Teller leer isst, und fragt unhöflich, warum man etwas nicht aufgegessen hat. Getränke werden genauso streng kontrolliert wie das Essen. Das Verhalten der Mitarbeiter ist völlig unprofessionell und unfreundlich. Man fühlt sich wie unter permanenter Aufsicht, anstatt das Essen genießen zu können. Obwohl das Konzept angeblich “zwanglos all inclusive” sein sollte, herrschen hier Misstrauen und Kontrolle. Die Qualität des Essens ist schlecht und vieles kaum genießbar. Absolut nicht empfehlenswert! Verschwendung von Geld, Zeit und Nerven. Fotos, die den schlechten Zustand dokumentieren, sind beigefügt.

Not only are you constantly being watched - the staff actively comes to the table, demands that you finish your plate and rudely asks why you haven't finished something. Drinks are controlled just as strictly as food. The behavior of the employees is completely unprofessional and unfriendly. You feel like you are under constant supervision instead of being able to enjoy the food. Although the concept is supposed to be “casual all inclusive”, there is mistrust and control here. I went to this restaurant for the second time today at 1pm to celebrate a friend's birthday and we chose the buffet. Unfortunately, much of the food was missing and it wasn't even refilled in the 40 minutes we were there. Steamed ravioli and wontons were out, fried noodles were empty, duck and chicken were also gone, and there was only a single spring roll. Very disappointing and a very limited selection. I won't be coming back - it's a shame, such a bad setting for a birthday party. I took photos of the empty containers but I'd rather not upload them. it looks sad

Went for the first time today. I expected more based on the reviews. The employees weren't interested in you at all. The process was not explained, after all, every all you can eat is different. The food is really amazing (I am Taiwanese) Salty food: Fried rice cakes with lots of flour, fried noodles, fried rice, stir-fried meat with a bunch of sauces There is also a part where you can add raw meat and fry it for them. I was worried that it would not taste good and would be a waste of food, so I didn’t try it. Sushi: The flower sushi doesn’t look delicious, and the huge pickled radish and sashimi don’t look fresh (I didn’t eat it because I was afraid of feeling sick, but maybe it’s good? Dessert: I am an Ant-Man with a huge sweet tooth, but his dessert is only sugar! Out of a dozen desserts, I only tasted one sour one? The mousse is delicious, but everything else is not good at all, and the ice cream is also weird. Delicious/edible items: gummy bears, drinks, lettuce, shrimp dumplings (normal frozen food), berry jam white mousse dessert. Large, Chinese-style restaurant with a buffet. A wide selection of dishes – we enjoyed the duck and beef dishes, especially the accompanying sauces. Sushi, soup, desserts, and ice cream are available. A drink and a coffee are included in the buffet price.

It's a nice restaurant, the staff is friendly, the selection of dishes is large and the taste is really good, of course it's adapted to German tastes so it's not too spicy and the dishes aren't that special either, but that's completely okay. The price is actually really unbeatable per person for 31 euros worth of food and drinks, you can't say anything about that. The only small point of criticism is that when it's full it takes a while for the freshly grilled food to arrive.

In terms of price-performance ratio, a straight 6 stars. We were absolutely satisfied, huge selection, everything was deliciously prepared and the staff was very friendly. Any time. I was really impressed by the Chinese restaurant. The food was delicious and fresh, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. I particularly enjoyed the dim sum and the Kung Pao chicken. We came to spend a girls' evening to eat together and chat, we're used to going there, we didn't eat much, 2 dishes maximum but we had tea and we talked, there were a lot of free places, no problem but then the two Asian women at reception forbade us to have any more tea under the pretext that we were no longer allowed and that we now had to pay 4€. It was only tea and even then they were rude, with unprofessional gestures and no warm welcome or kind politeness. We would have understood even with polite and serious behavior. The food is good but the atmosphere is not at all good, we come to have a good evening and not to be treated roughly like this. You should review your sense of welcome and hospitality, this clearly leaves something to be desired! We will not return there again. It's a shame.

All-you-can-eat Asian buffet including drinks included in the price. Attention, there is a lot of attendance at the trade fair! Price on average with other buffet Asians in the area. The food is okay and is refilled relatively quickly. Mongolian BBQ dishes usually take a little longer but can be endured or bridged. The plates are cleared away quickly by the service staff. I would rather give it 3.5 stars overall but round it up to 4.

I love these kinds of restaurants, and I liked this one too. But last time everything was terribly overcooked. They brought some stinking coals. I'm upset. It was so loud that I couldn’t hear myself and then I got a headache.

Ich war leider sehr enttäuscht von meinem Besuch in diesem Restaurant. Das Essen war meistens so gut wie leer – die Auswahl war gering und die Qualität ließ zu wünschen übrig. Wenn es dann doch mal voll war, schmeckte es nicht alt so gut. Zudem konnten die Mitarbeiter kaum Deutsch, was die Kommunikation sehr schwierig machte. Insgesamt ein unbefriedigendes Erlebnis, das ich nicht wiederholen werde. Ich werde auf jeden Fall allen davon erzählen, damit andere nicht die gleiche Enttäuschung erleben müssen.

Das Abendbuffet (ab 17:30, 31 € pro Person, maximal 180 Minuten Verweildauer) bietet eine reichhaltige Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken. An den Tischen geht es etwas gedrängt zu, der Abräumservice für benutztes Geschirr war sehr aufmerksam. Die Besonderheit des Bratservice zum angebotenen rohen Fisch und Fleisch war leider ein Reinfall, durchgehend schwarz verkohlt und zäh wie Leder wurde der Teller an den Tisch gebracht. Die Qualität der fertig angebotenen Speisen war meist gut, wie auch die Auswahl an Getränken inkl. Espresso. Am Nachbartisch packte ein Gast das ausgewählte aber wohl zu viele Essensreste in eine Dose, ca. 10 Minuten danach wurde der Gast von einer Mitarbeiterin darauf hingewiesen, dass die nicht erlaubt sei. Zudem verlange die Mitarbeiterin die Einsicht in den Rucksack. Der Gast hat den Inhalt auf einen Teller gegeben und alle an dessen Tisch haben dann die Reste gegessen. Der Fall des Gastes am Nachbartisch wie auch der Umstand, dass wir - ohne die Tischnummer oder den Namen zu nennen - am Tresen im Eingangsbereich mit der korrekten Tischnummer abgerechnet wurden führt zur Frage, ob die Gasträume durch Kameras überwacht werden (an der Decke sind einige runde Objekte zu erkennen, die durchaus Rundumkameras beherbergen könnten). Entsprechende Hinweisschilder haben wir nicht gesehen. Nicht auszuschließen, dass auf diesem Weg auch die Nutzung der maximal 2 alkoholischen Getränke überwacht wird.

I've never encountered such unfriendly staff... at the counter, when paying, etc. Money is all that counts... we should sit at the windows (so that it looks as busy as possible from the outside), even the toothpicks said: Please only take 1-2 toothpicks. Nevertheless, a recommendable restaurant where I would definitely recommend making a reservation as it is busy. I'd love to come back!

Large selection! The buffet food was great. The "Mongolian" or freshly prepared one was unfortunately DEAD and very dry or no longer easy to handle with a knife. Unfortunately, it's a shame because it's a really great restaurant!

We went for lunch and it was great! Clean, excellent selection of delicious food, and 2 drinks were included in the buffet price. The staff came by frequently to collect dishes. My youngest dropped his soda bottle and broke a dish and the staff were very kind to him and to us.

On New Year's Eve we ordered two take-out dishes: fried noodles with chicken and a similar dish with fried rice. While the noodles tasted excellent, the rice dish unfortunately didn't live up to our expectations. We assumed that the rice dish - like the pasta - would contain the same vegetables (leeks, carrots, onions, sprouts, broccoli and peppers). Instead there were only peas and carrot cubes. Although the menu did not contain any detailed information about vegetables, the expectation of a comparable selection of vegetables was certainly there.

We like being here. The quality of the food, the service and the selection of drinks are just right.

Never again. Even one star is too many. I agree with all the negative reviews. A table for 13 people was reserved a few days in advance at 7 p.m. for all you can eat, table reservations + meal planning and refilling the buffet was a complete disaster. When we were there, much of the buffet was already empty and nothing was being refilled. I gave a plate of salmon and vegetables to grill and got it back burnt and couldn't eat it. Giving out food like that is really a disgrace. The soup and everything else wasn't hot and didn't keep warm well. The sushi and ice cream were not properly cooled. The staff didn't understand German and were very listless. All 13 people didn't like it. Abdominal pain was the result of our visit. Don't fall for the full buffet photos on their website, they don't have anything like that, refills stop at 7 p.m.
