Great selection at the buffet, friendly service and great value for money!

Nach längerer Zeit waren wir mal wieder im "China City" und nachdem wir dort früher sehr zufrieden waren, hatten wir dieses Mal für elf Personen reserviert - was sich dann als Fehler herausstellen sollte. Unsere Freunde und wir kamen mit grossen Erwartungen, und wurden prompt enttäuscht. Fast alle Speisen vom Büffet waren nur lauwarm, und zum Teil sogar kalt. Nachdem wir das reklamiert hatten, wurde die Temperatur an den Wärmeplatten höher gestellt, was uns aber letzten Endes auch nichts mehr gebracht hat. Das benutzte Geschirr wurde ebenfalls ein ganze Weile nicht abgeräumt, so das wir hier erst einmal selbst Hand anlegen mussten. Nach einer Beschwerde hat es dann halbwegs geklappt, wobei die Mitarbeiterin trotzdem regelmässig nur einen Teil des benutzten Geschirrs mitnahm. Das Restaurant bietet die Möglichkeit sich bestimmte Fisch- und Fleischsorten roh auf den Teller zu legen, und an einem Grill dann von einem Mitarbeiter grillen zu lassen. Das ist ein netter Service, wenn er denn klappen würde. Da sieht man im vorbei gehen ein halbes Dutzend fertiger Teller stehen, aber keinen Mitarbeiter, der sie an die Tische bringt. Ergebnis: Einige Gäste holen sich ihre Teller selbst ab, und die anderen Gäste bekommen irgendwann ein kaltes Essen serviert. Die Qualität der Lebensmittel hat im Vergleich zu früher ebenfalls nachgelassen. Bei einem Büffet kann man vielleicht nicht unbedingt die Qualität eines Fünfsterne-Restaurants erwarten, aber bei einem Preis von 29 Euro pro Person war das was da geboten wurde eine Frechheit. Das auf der Toilette beide Spender mit den Papierhandtüchern leer waren, und auch nach Hinweis durch die Gäste nicht aufgefüllt wurden, ist da nur ein weiterer Punkt auf der Minusliste des "China City". Fazit: Ein Lokal das einmal mit erstklassiger Qualität der Speisen und einem hervorragenden Service glänzte ist jäh abgestürzt . Für uns ist das umso ärgerlicher, weil wir mit einer sehr grossen Gruppe da waren. Uns wird dieser Laden so schnell nicht wieder sehen, und wir können hier auch keine Empfehlung aussprechen.

Great place, for PLN 31 per person, you eat as much as you want and drink as much as you want, wine, beer and other drinks, fresh seafood on site, they grill next to you, meat, Chinese cuisine, etc., I recommend it

We gave this restaurant 3 times the chance, unfortunately an absolute no go....the staff/stressed, not polite, the worst: almost everyone doesn't speak German. If you want to talk to the boss, you won't understand anything. So the food is way too spicy and unsuitable for children....if you ask if it will be refilled again...the answer comes on Sunday evening (it was 8:40 p.m.)..it will no longer be refilled. If you only drank one drink, you will still be charged for several drinks. Then you should handle the free drinks differently. Then bottles that have been opened are put back in the refrigerator if guests do not empty them...An absolute NO GO!!!!! IT'S DIRTY EVERYWHERE AND THERE ARE A LOT OF SMALL FRUIT FLIES AROUND THE TABLE... THE EMPLOYEES GO AROUND WITH SERVING TROLLEYS AND CLEAR THE TABLES AT A VOLUME... THAT MAKES YOU FEEL LIKE YOU'RE IN A LARGE KITCHEN. That's what MC Donald is all about more pleasant...you can really feel sorry for the employees...because they profit Last but not least, this is a topic that is unfortunately widespread in Germany. Conclusion: If you find all these things annoying and prefer QUALITY rather than QUANTITY, avoid this restaurant. There are soooo.....many others.

System catering-like…nothing special. All you can eat buffet at a fair price. Unfortunately there are a lot of spicy dishes that you could spice up yourself if necessary/if you wish, then you would have a good selection. Mongolian in the evening is better 😉

For €30 you have unlimited drinks. That was the only thing tastier. I found the food to be significantly below average. I personally found the sushi very bad. I also resented the meat rather than enjoyed it. Unfortunately for me it was the last time here.

We came as a family, three adults, three children. Everything was great. The choice of dishes is large, we tried a maximum of five percent of all dishes. Most of all they took seafood, sweets and fruits. I didn't really like the sushi rolls. For six it was 159 euros.

Very solid for a classic Asian all you can eat buffet. Compared to others, there is a larger selection of sushi and many different desserts. Large selection of free drinks, including high quality brands. Of course, as with any all you can eat, the quality is not the best, but you shouldn't expect that with something like that. I'd love to come back

Very crowded on Saturday evening, reservations only recommended. Freshly prepared only with a longer waiting time, otherwise the buffet is constantly being refilled.

Unfortunately, the now no longer Asian, but Eastern European staff, who communicate very loudly, were putting bottles into the refrigerators with a loud noise at around 9.40 p.m., but the buffet runs until 10 p.m. Numerous dishes were not refilled after 8:40 p.m. The staff collectively went to feed themselves, so that the used dishes remained on the guest tables. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has also decreased. The soup smelled like a cowshed. It's a shame, because we had fond memories of the restaurant.

We've been here a lot, the food is always delicious, the concept of an "all inclusive" (including drinks) with self-service is great. You take what you want and as often as you want. If you go more often - no problem. If you only go once - no problem. The staff is always friendly and the price/performance ratio is absolutely right here, because drinks are included in the price and there are many branded drinks (including expensive ones, like Bionade).

Very large and beautiful Chinese restaurant. The food was very tasty. Really nice service. We had a menu for 2 people. The vegetables are very crunchy and fresh. Tip: The food was too salty for us because we don't use much salt. We were advised to simply let us know in advance next time and the food would be prepared differently. This means that the food is freshly prepared for each guest. Thumbs up!

Chef doesn't know how to prepare squid, the owner wanted to tell me that you eat the squid including the innards, reasoning: "It's an all you can eat restaurant, that's why you eat it like that"

We liked it very much. During the week there is a large allyoucaneat buffet at lunchtime with fig dishes, including dessert, sushi and side dishes. Two drinks are included in the price of 18 euros. Everything very clean and appetizing. There are enough parking spaces in front of the house. We'll be back again for the larger dinner buffet...

Found the food to be very good and lots of choice

The restaurant is self-service. No one told us that. Since we don't come from there and were just visiting. The food was good.

Wouldn’t recommend. Food is what you expect from a buffet. It is overpriced. Limit individuals to two alcoholic drinks. Still charge same price to visitors who do not drink alcohol.

Cozy food, nice decor. Personally, I didn't think it was particularly good. What really bothers me is that the raw meat and fish is just open and the mosquitoes are sitting on it. I find that disgusting.

Incredible selection, delicious and fresh food, friendly staff, nice atmosphere. You have to pull yourself together so you don't go there too often (since it's an all-you-can-eat restaurant 😂), but it's tempting! 😂

Everything is very delicious, they have a lot of variety.

All-inclusive buffet restaurant with fair price-performance ratio. The food was really good, especially the Mongolian buffet is very rich and good. The selection of ready-made hot dishes isn't quite as large, but the quality of the dishes is impeccable. There is a small deduction because you cannot eat à la carte. The all-inclusive offer is a bit too big for those who aren't very hungry. Nevertheless, China City is highly recommended.

This is more for people who can eat relatively much and don't value quality much. At the entrance we waited for a long time until the nice lady came out of Nirvana after about ten minutes and told us that there would be an all-you-can-eat-and-drink buffet in the evening. We actually expected to order according to the menu. In order to enjoy the last hours of the evening, we decided to stay and had free choice of seats. Probably aware that the price for the evening buffet is not mentioned. At first we walked through and I diligently started putting my plates together: melons and pineapples Plate 2: Carrot slices, tomatoes/onions and cucumbers. At the same time, I added plate 3 to the roast: mussels, octopus, squid and beef. And collected plate 4: potatoes and pieces of chicken The older lady served me plate 3 - after a very long wait - in a very unfriendly manner. The younger lady, on the other hand, was much friendlier and very personable. Plate 1: I didn't like the melons; Pineapples were juicy Plate 2: It was ok Plate 3: Apart from the mussels, everything else was of poor quality and as a beef lover I can say that the beef was a disaster. Plate 4: Great Later I put together plate 5, similar to plate 3 plus turkey (without beef). In the end I was of course shocked to pay 31 EUR twice for two people. I can also prepare chicken with potatoes of even better quality (from organic farmers) at home for much less money. There's really nothing special, except that the food there is overpriced. What is also missing is the interaction with guests, especially on the part of the chef. According to the motto: Eat, pay and go. Although he probably can't do anything about it... That's not how a restaurant runs; There is more warmth involved. Which I unfortunately also have to mention; That same night I had a strange feeling in my stomach, which I only get when I consume too much wheat products and/or low-quality meat. Since I didn't consume any wheat products that day, I can't rule out the possibility of lower meat quality. I'm not surprised that you have a rating of 4.1 here. Instead of arguing with reviewers here, you should use nonsense terms less and make lasting improvements.

Very large restaurant, more like a canteen, not a cozy atmosphere. Sometimes very, very loud, for example due to children running around (but that's not the restaurant's fault). The stay is limited to 90 minutes (you don't want to stay longer). We visited China City a total of three times because you always get a spot spontaneously and it's on the way - but this was the last time we were there. The food is absolutely nothing special, hardly seasoned but very heavy on soy sauce. Unfortunately there are no Asian teas, only tea bags from the supermarket. On our first visit we were assigned a seat, then we sat and waited. Nobody took notice of us. After 10 minutes we asked for a menu - we were told that there was a buffet and that one liter drink per person was included. Aha. You could have said that somehow right away or perhaps it would be an idea to point this out to the guest at the table (place mat with explanation or standee?) There was no rice at the buffet on the first visit to China City - rice had to be cooked first and that took a long time so long that we didn't get any rice to eat at all. Sometimes the food is presented very carelessly and food is left next to the containers. Large houseflies were having fun in the display cases with desserts and sushi. This is not only unhygienic, but also a health risk because they feel and taste food sources with their feet. Houseflies can therefore collect and spread pathogens. These germs can, among other things, also lead to diarrheal diseases. There were so many fruit flies around the ice cream presentation that we lost our appetite. That's absolutely not possible. The broccoli was raw, not crunchy but absolutely hard and raw. The food for the buffet is almost always so little filled that you have to scrape together a spoonful; sometimes the containers are even empty and are only refilled very slowly. Sometimes the food is not spicy at all, then very spicy again on the next visit. While you're eating, carts with disgusting, sometimes very smelly food leftovers drive past the guests. We noticed the tables today as very unclean. You were literally stuck to it. A dog was given a soup bowl from the Buffett tableware to slurp his water out of. We love animals but that's not possible. Speaking of dishes: The "fresh dishes" don't seem clean, they have leftover food/stains almost everywhere on them and only with a lot of luck can you find a reasonably acceptable plate. The cutlery is next to the buffet ready for you to rummage around in. Each guest reaches into the cutlery display and grabs their cutlery. There is no "ALL YOU CAN DRINK" in China City. On our first visit to this location it was said: 1 liter drink per guest. Today we were informed that we had too many drinks (3 people 2 bottles of cola, a bottle of elderberry lemonade 0.33l) New regulations? I want to know what I'm paying for. You could also “take less from the buffet so you can drink more” HUE? Is it still okay? Not only is this the height of impudence, but it also makes you feel unwelcome and watched. Hardly anyone of the guests present ate their fill, not even us. The men had soup, two plates of food and a little dessert, I had a plate of rice with mushrooms and 3 florets of hard broccoli and a dessert with a slice of pineapple, a cake and 2 pieces of melon. What I didn't have would have made up for every glutton at the table - if there were any gluttons. If you don't want a guest to take two plates from the buffet, then you can't offer a buffet. It's unbelievable how people are treated here. An absolute disgrace. Never again! .

All-you-can-eat Asian restaurant. Large selection, almost everything tasted good. No service, all self-service. The flat rate is okay at €31.

The food was freshly prepared, so warm and tasty. But the lady mistook us for another group several times. Not a real problem, just a little weird when we say there are three of us and then when we're paying she asks where the fourth one is.

Were not greeted or shown to a seat as usual. Stood there more or less as ordered and not picked up. After we looked for a place ourselves, no one came for 3 minutes. Then we decided to just get something to eat. The food was ok but the taste was a highlight. Rice and the like are not allowed on the grill...why? I don't know either. At least the grill master didn't speak my language, but I understood that he was complaining about the rice on the plate. This isn't a problem with the competition... The selection of dishes is huge. Very nice presentation. Contrary to the menu at the restaurant and the information on the Internet, there was no daily special but only a high-priced buffet. The buffet was really great. There was something for every taste. Still not okay if the notice also offers daily meals and you can only get a buffet.

I want to leave a negative review about a terrible restaurant. We were not told that the payment was not for the whole evening, as is common practice throughout the city. Nobody cleared the dishes. The service was terrible, the staff rude and there was no music. It was like an ordinary canteen.

I came on a Sunday , around noon. Parking was quick to find in their parking lot, which was right out front. After walking in, I was greeted by a staff member within about 30 seconds. Shown a general area to sit in. After which a staff member described how it worked. It was a buffet with drinks included. Food was great, the constant customer traffic meant the food was hot and fresh. Very reasonably priced and a great value. I especially loved that their espresso / latte machine was self serve and a part of the service. I will definitely come again and make this a regular spot . Very family friendly as well in space accommodations, seating and food options.

The lunch buffet is great but when I came to the table with friends on Saturday evening I wanted to order a little something from the menu... Not possible, only to take away, they said... why am I being forced to take the evening buffet as well? I wasn't very hungry ...A pity....

We were here for the first time. For all you can eat and drink. Delicious food and for €31 with everything from fresh fish, prawns to dessert and all drinks you really can't complain. Quality is good and the already grilled/cooked dishes were also delicious.

We were there for the lunch buffet. The prices are difficult to agree with. The buffet offers a large selection, especially with many meat dishes, where there are some really good things. On the other hand, you can tell from the details that the restaurant is not at the top. The quality (and cleanliness) of the cutlery leaves nothing to be desired, some of the dishes are very old and the labels on the dishes are rather half-hearted. As good as the buffet is, you unfortunately have to make compromises when it comes to dessert. Not convincing in terms of taste. Conclusion: Reasonable prices for Chinese food with room for improvement in the B grade and the quality of the dessert.

Nice all you can eat Chinese restaurant but nothing more

Delicious Chinese restaurant. Free beer and wine are provided, as well as teppan fried rice.

First of all, the positive: The all-you-can-drink offer is really good. In the evening you can drink 2 alcoholic drinks per guest, otherwise as much as you want. And the drinks are even well-known brands like Coca Cola, Sprite, etc. (Everything from the bottle) I know other restaurants that also offer all-you-can drinks, but there it's just a water-soda mixture from a vending machine. You can park for free directly in front of the restaurant and the ambience is visually very modern and beautifully decorated. The sweet and sour chicken and the sesame balls were also very tasty and the buffet was usually quickly refilled. We were there on a Thursday evening and there was a bit of activity in the restaurant. Unfortunately, no one had found time to explain to us how the drinks worked... so we just went looking at some point. The sushi tasted like it came from a discount store, dry and old and was inferior even for a buffet restaurant. There is no soy sauce on site, only in a tube at the buffet. When I put soy sauce in my bowl, a little fly came out. The dishes weren't really clean and the women's toilets were just disgusting. I don't know what kind of people were there, but some of the toilets were completely dirty or full of toilet paper. The toilet seats were also loose. I mean, the restaurant can't do anything for the guests, but maybe you could check here more often. I lost my hunger when I saw the toilets. All in all, I was very disappointed, especially since there are so many positive reviews and I was looking forward to the food. Therefore, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone and hope that they will work on cleanliness and hygiene. I hope my review was helpful.

Huge all you can eat restaurant. Large parking lot is available. There is no service in the usual sense. The guest must fetch their own food and drinks; only grilled food will be brought to the table. The meals are good. There is a large selection for the grill as well as ready-made dishes. Large selection of non-alcoholic drinks. Wine may only be taken to the table in glasses. Payment is made at the reception desk.

Fantastic buffet restaurant offering Chinese and Asian cuisine -with a very good value for the fixed price charged. The latter includes free-flow drinks, freshly cooked seafood and meat dishes (delivered to your table), and a very authentic spread of traditional Cantonese and SE Asian dishes. The desert offers are also nice, and the ambience is perfectly fine - especially for families and larger dining parties. Sufficient parking up front, but also easy to reach by bus. Overall, a very good experience.

I cannot recommend this all you can eat buffet. The finished dishes were anything but fresh. The breaded things cold. One had the impression that the leftovers from lunch or the day before were simply put there. Plates and cutlery partly dirty. The grilled food took forever and was way too salty. The staff at the grill were unfriendly. The food was swapped. The only positive thing is that all drinks are included. We were there and will definitely not come again.

I don't know what everyone has, but I think the service here is top notch. “No” service can sometimes be the best service - you have peace and quiet and the people are friendly. The food is good, but sometimes the quality varies, but I can't say why. I once ate out two days in a row and noticed big differences in the sushi, grill and desserts. On the first day it was okay, the sushi and desserts were a bit dry and the stuff from the grill wasn't as tasty as usual and on the second day everything was suddenly exceptionally good. Both days during the week, so it wasn't on the weekend or anything like that. Nevertheless, value for money is great, I enjoy coming here and can recommend the restaurant.

Top service and nice ambience. But that was it. The food was a disaster: tasteless and not really fresh. We've been to many "all you can eat" restaurants and were actually satisfied everywhere, but unfortunately the quality isn't right here. Just felt bad after eating even though I didn't eat much. I'm still sitting in the restaurant and I regret that we chose this restaurant. Friday evening, €31 per person all you can eat (hopefully with drinks, we still have to pay). The food was disgusting and oily. The raw fish, left to grill, was not fresh, smelled bad and tasted bad. Everything was disgusting because I was already throwing up. Unfortunately the toilets are dirty and there is no toilet paper. Unfortunately, I still have to wait to puke. Never again!

This is the worst place. You walk in and nobody greets you. They don’t tell you how the system works. The woman at the register talks to you rudely “Just sit over there somewhere” flicking her hand at you. The food looks great but the experience is poor. What are you supposed to do? what is the price of the menu? Is there a server to serve you drinks or do you go to the bar? I’ve been to all you can eat buffets before but normally there is a staff of people helping you. I tried to explain all this to the server but she just couldn’t understand my frustration. It’s really simple come in find a place eat and drink all you want from the buffet and refrigerators and then line up to pay on the way out. But that isn’t explained anywhere on the way in. Just ruined the whole experience of the restaurant.

Have been there several times. Food, service, etc. are actually always good. But this time really disappointed!!! We were two families with two children aged 1 year and two other children aged 5 and 7 having lunch. We got a little water for one of the two 1-year-olds. This was then charged at over 4 euros, even though children <3 cost nothing. We weren't told beforehand that food for <3 doesn't cost anything, but a drink is charged separately. Even though I reported this, they insisted on paying for the drink. (Apart from that, the two children aged 5 and 7 are at the lower limit of the children's price 5-11 years.) It's a shame, that's how you scare away your customers! Edit, after the restaurant's response: Why are you being abusive? Did you understand my statement? We were there at lunchtime and 2 drinks were included. We had to pay extra for a drink that we took for the toddler, even though it was previously stated that children younger than 3 years old don't cost anything. If the drink for the toddler still costs extra, it was a small amount of water, that should also be mentioned beforehand.

Very nice self-service restaurant with a very large selection. There is something for every taste. The price of €31 per person including drinks is absolutely justified for the large selection. I can only recommend the restaurant.

Price for all you can eat and drink is great at 31 euros Food quality phew, not so much. Noodles were a bit older and chicken was red in the middle. not so good

Buffetrestaurant. Am Wochenende sind tepanjaki und Alkohol und nicht alkoholische Getränke Inklusive. Sehr großes Buffet mit riesiger Auswahl. Platz findet man immer. Sauber, allerdings eben alles , auch die Getränke in Selbstbedienung. Grosser Parkplatz vor Ort vorhanden

Chinese restaurants, very large. Buffet style food. Very clean, typical food Chinese with a few gaffes. You can get full very well.

I was in this restaurant for the first time, but thoughtlessly on Saturday evening, I think it makes sense not to eat here during busy times and days. There was little choice because they couldn't keep up with refills in the kitchen. This also applies to napkins, plates and cutlery. What I think is great is that you can drink as much as you want from the refrigerators, and there is also a fully automatic coffee machine available.

It used to be good, unfortunately not anymore today. The duck was at least 2-3 days old and hard as bones; There was old grease of undetermined origin stuck to the outside. The photo was taken 15 minutes after opening (11:45 a.m.) 🤢

My best friend and I were there, almost everything was cold and didn't taste as good as it did back then. Sushi were so dry as if they were from yesterday :( And really expensive at €31!!! The taste was even worse!

Never again. 1-The price is increasing per visit. 2-All you eat has now limited eating time as 150 minutes. Is this a joke!!!
