The food is delicious! So many choices, I want to try everything at once. Delicious Chinese beer. The atmosphere is sparse and down-home. The staff is wonderful. This place has now become my favorite. I'm so glad I found it. They even gave us fortune cookies at the end.

The food: perfectly prepared, fresh, with a truly strong flavor. The staff: very friendly, attentive, and pleasantly unassuming. And the price: incredible—almost ridiculously low for this quality. If you come here, you should bring your time. Then it won't be a "quick meal," but an experience at a price you hardly find these days.

All the dishes on the menu are prepared and refined with love and care. The sweet desserts, like the breaded banana, are also simply delicious. The owners are incredibly kind and helpful, which makes visiting this restaurant a real pleasure ☺️. The portions are always generous and definitely filling. The lunch menu is also truly more than fair – perhaps not quite as extensive as some all-you-can-eat restaurants, but worlds tastier and significantly higher quality. The food is truly fantastic. Everything is delicious, and they also offer authentic dishes that are perfectly prepared. Only the service and friendliness of the Asian woman are good. There's a grumpy German man serving. He's not a good day, not a pleasant day, not a smile, not a friendly smile, not a bit of hospitality. He has an East German 1940s mentality, and I think this man is completely anti-German.

The lunch buffet simply can't be beat. Delicious, awesome, fantastic, affordable..., awesome! Guys, an insider tip. If you arrive late, you can even pack up the leftovers to take home for free. I've rarely feasted so much. Thanks.

Excellent food and friendly service from the owner. When we had the leftovers from our huge portions packed up, we were given reusable Tupperware containers instead of the usual aluminum containers. So, in addition to reasonable prices and fresh ingredients, Canton Li Juan also impresses with its sustainability. All in all, a highly recommended restaurant.

Unfortunately, I can't share the opinion of the positive reviews. The restaurant is cramped and in need of renovation, the food is very German-style, and the service, to put it mildly, was rather pragmatic towards us as non-regulars. The restaurant is primarily frequented by seniors, who probably enjoy the inexpensive food (€11.80 for the lunch buffet, including a large drink). The owner is also very accommodating to the regular seniors and, in my opinion, takes good care of them. Conclusion: not for the discerning palate, but good for the occasional senior.

I'm in the area once a year, and every time I'm here, I go to the Canton Restaurant. The food is delicious, and the portions and prices are reasonable.

The service was very friendly. I ordered extra spicy and actually got it with fresh red chilies, which is rare in Germany. Very positive. The portion of rice came separately and was large. The beef in the red Thai curry was perfect. Very tender. I'd go back anytime. I was very satisfied.

Just a good German restaurant with Asian dishes!

The service was friendly and quick. But as soon as I entered the restaurant, I was taken aback. Windows and doors are rarely opened here. The floor was sticky, there were cobwebs in the lampshades, and it was generally a bit dirty. And as is the case in every Chinese restaurant, with 100 dishes on the menu, one light and one dark standard MSG sauce is used for all the pre-cooked dishes. I won't be going back. I had no appetite.

Good classic Chinese food. We really enjoyed it and the portions were really big! Service is also friendly, but the interior design isn't quite as pretty anymore, you could definitely get more out of it :) We had a starter platter to share, a drink per person and a main course each. That brought us to €30 per person

We went there for lunch as a family. You can also book the lunch buffet with a drink, which is an advantage in terms of costs. The buffet itself includes several soups + other starters, various main courses of different flavors and desserts. Alternatively, you could order from the lunch menu or a la card - these options are not overpriced either. The food is delicious and better than in other all you can eat restaurants, and it is always refilled. Since it's busy, you might have to wait 5 minutes to be served - that's a lot of time for everyone. Otherwise the service is very friendly, I can understand why groups meet there regularly. We thought it was great and will be back.

Food is well seasoned and hearty. Delicious. The portions are decent and fill even a glutton like me. So if you're hungry, you're well served here.

I was there with my girlfriend a long time ago. Everything looked good and fit. When we arrived home. We found that the rice was extremely dry, lumpy and tasted terrible. There were grains of rice that were hard and not fully cooked. So when you go to an Asian restaurant, you assume they can cook rice. That wasn't the case for four. Call it bad luck or something else. The food went in the trash. Unfortunately we couldn't eat without rice. Too bad. Then we went for a doner kebab.

Quite nice, nothing more. Somehow not quite right. The quality is okay. The interior is small and cozy, but kitschy.

It is my second time in this place, the first time was in March 2023. And then we were served by, I think, the owner, a very kind lady of Asian origin. On this occasion we returned and we were unlucky enough to be served by a very rude man. We had reserved a table for 8 people, of which only 6 went. The man got so angry that he went to scold us at the table and even told us that because of us he was losing customers. He made other diners (there were 3) who were already eating get up from their table. He took our table to divide them into two tables of 4. He passed the diners who were 3 to one of those tables. And us at the table of 6. That man should not be kept in front of the public or serving the diners. It damages the image of the restaurant. What saved the meal was that the owner came out to serve.

Delicious Chinese food. The portions are smaller, as expected for the price, but tasty. The service is very friendly, but runs the place alone, so there are long waiting times and no real service. She tries hard but it's not always enough. The ambience is rather cold and less appealing, but the beer tastes good.

Lovely meal here. Great chat with "Rhino" (excuse my spelling but spelt how pronounced) who knew his stuff about football which impressed the hubster 😂 Would definitely recommend if visiting the area.

We always enjoy coming here, it's simply cozy and reasonably priced. We tried the buffet once, but due to the size, a lot of things were quickly sold out and we had to wait. The service is relatively taciturn, at least the male one, and doesn't pay enough attention to the guests. Food is completely fine, you can add spices.

Restaurant China Canton, Hauptstrassr, Echterdingen ( Stuttgart), Deutschland, continues to serve THE BEST CRISPY DUCK we’ve had ANYWHERE! ( London, Chinatown NYC, San Francisco)! We’ve been eating here every time we return to Stuttgart, DE, since 2005, when we moved to Echterdingen. They have not raised their prices, but the quality continues to rise! What a treasure! Congratulations to Fr. & Hr. Hoffmeyer!

I've been coming here for years. Lunch buffet is always plentiful and usually not old as it is always refilled. The ambience has been improved through renovations such as visibility cuts to the outside. There are also tablecloths again. The entire restaurant makes a clean impression. Service/owner always very friendly and warm, sometimes a bit absent-minded, but that doesn't matter. Prices reasonable to cheap. Always come back here.

I've eaten better here. When it came to the dim sum with shrimp, there was a single one at the top that had obviously been in the freezer for a long time and tasted really rotten. The rest was ok.

So I understand hospitality completely differently. We wanted to eat and I had an asthma attack at the door, wanted to buy a bottle of water and the answer was: he doesn't have a bottle!!! A glass of water would be ok too! This kind of behavior shows what hospitality is like.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker und die Preise fair. Das Lokal ist sehr klein, der Service gibt sich Mühe und ist freundlich. Jedoch waren die Karten sehr klebrig, was keinen guten Eindruck hinterlassen hat. Insgesamt aber ein gutes Restaurant.

Waren hier am 04.11.2023 zum verfrühten Abendessen. Zum Glück, denn so bekamen wir noch einen Tisch in dem sich rasch füllenden Restaurant. Die Bedienungen waren aller Erwartungen zum Trotz keine Asiaten, sondern sehr freundliche "Einheimische". 😁 Die Bestellung wurde rasch aufgenommen und ließ auch nicht lange auf sich warten. Die Portionen waren für die Preise riesig und es war mega viel Fleisch dabei. Auch war der Geschmack vorzüglich ! Wer also gut für preiswertes Geld Essen gehen möchte, ist in diesem etwas anderen China-Restaurant bestens aufgehoben.

Great food and reasonable pricing

Sehr nettes und aufmerksames Personal. Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Vegetarische Frühlingsrollen und Wang-Tang Suppe zur Vorspeise. Königin der Gemüse und Thailändischer Feuertopf als Hauptgericht. Es gab nichts zu bemängeln. Es wurde im Laufe des Essens nachgefragt ob noch mehr Reis gewünscht wird. Es gab noch einen Pflaumenwein aufs Haus. Wir kommen wieder.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker, aber wir mussten ewig warten und die Bedienung hat mehrfach unsere Bestellung vergessen. Leider ein sehr unfreundlicher Mann bei der Bedienung, der mich mein Essen selbst hat einpacken lassen an der Theke und dann sagte ich könne froh sein, dass ich es überhaupt mitnehmen darf, da ihm das mal passiert sei. Nicht gerade freundlich und ich habe mich schlecht behandelt gefühlt.

Wir gehen sehr gerne ins Canton nach Echterdingen. Alle Gerichte die wir bisher gegessen haben waren immer sehr gut und von der Menge her reichlich. Mein Lieblingsgericht ist die Curry Ente, mein Mann ist begeistert vom thailändischen Feuertopf, der sehr scharf aber auch sehr lecker ist. Wir haben auch schon oft Gerichte abgeholt und waren damit auch immer sehr zufrieden. Der Service ist immer freundlich und sehr aufmerksam.

eben mal wieder probiert, früher war das essen okay, heute leider ungenießbar! wir hatten vorspeisen, die suppe war furchtbar überwürzt , sauer und extrem salzig, die satay spieße waren in alles anderem als erdnusssauce, die frühlingsrollen waren einfach nur teigig und fettig, alles in allem ein fall für den müll! nie wieder!!!

Stopped here on a whim. Fantastic. The restaurant was busy but there were still a few tables available for walk-ins. The owner and her staff were great - attentive and kind. I got a carafe of hot sake and the curried lo mein with chicken and shrimp. My boyfriend got a beer and the fried duck in yellow curry. All delicious. They gave us complimentary shots of apple brandy with the check. Definitely coming back.

We decided to give our first try to go. Delicious food and ready in about 20 minutes. Prices were reasonable. We had the duck and it did not disappoint. We had a spice beef dish and it was delicious. Because we ordered to go we also ordered a rice and noodle dish... everything was very tasteful and different tastes for all the dishes. Recommend you give this place a go!!!!

Wir waren mehrmals hier. Wir wohnen in Echterdingen. Die Inhaber sind sehr nett und freundlich. Zu empfehlen sind die Gong Po und Gaeng Phet Gai Zubereitungen sowie die a Königin der Gemüse.

Il faut savoir qu’en Allemagne les rouleaux de printemps ne sont pas les mêmes qu’en France. En chine je ne sais pas. Très bon repas et servi avec le sourire et après 21h. Les brasseries ne servent plus à manger après 21h. Très content de mon repas. Je ne comprends pas les mauvaises notes.

Wir waren letzte Woche im China-Canton. Bestellt haben wir flambierte Ente und ein rein vegetarisches Gemüsegericht. Als "Schleckermäulchen" muss ich sagen, dass ich total begeistert war von dem hervorrangend zubereiteten Essen, dass die freundliche Chefin selbst kocht. China-Canton hat das Potenzial zu unserem Lieblingsrestaurant in L.E. zu werden. Wenn die junge männliche Bedienung so freundlich wäre, wie die Chefin, dann hätte ich gerne Fünfsterneplus gegeben. We were stopping in the nearby Ibis hotel. Entered this restaurant by chance and found a gem. We shared two dishes , which was more than enough. The food was fresh,well prepared and very tasty. They appear to offer a variety of Asian cuisine, ours were Chinese and indonesian, very reasonably priced. The people here were very pleasant and helpful. We would like to try more of the menu another time, other people’s food looked as good as ours.

During our one night stay at IBIS at Stuttgart airport we went to this place after passing all other restaurants on the way. It was worth the price with a nice buffet. Owner was very friendly and there was a quite a god spread of food that was tasty. Worth visitng.

Piatti senz’anima, assemblati da congelato o simili. Poi in chiusura la sensazione di presenze “aliene” sotto al tavolo che ha accelerato la chiusura della cena. Non sono più esplicito per non veder censurata questa recensione.

ресторан недалеко от станции поезда, заходили пару раз ужинать. готовят вкусно и сытно, кухня восточная, осторожно, острые и очень стрые блюда в меню реально такие, в остальном ... скромненько, обслуживание так себе, вместо пива советую брать бутылку вина, общее впечатление скрасила немка с дочкой, которая очень внимательно к нам отнеслась, предупредила что автобуса придется час ждать и вызвала такси, при заказе острых блюд напоминайте китайцам чтобы рис несли на закуску, хлеба нет, заодно сразу просите салфетки, зубочистки и т д - сорее всего у вас на толе их по умолчанию не будет
