China Restaurant Panda in Kehl

There's a truly huge selection here, something you won't find in every all-you-can-eat restaurant. The freshly prepared dishes, where you can choose your own ingredients, are very good. There's a lot of fried food, which tastes good, and the dumplings were my personal highlight. Unfortunately, I found the sushi quite inedible, as the rice was very hard, not as soft as you'd normally expect from sushi. The taste also didn't convince me. For the price, I would have hoped for a bit more.

Great restaurant they have come up with something

We always enjoy coming here, and for my child the robot service robot is always a special highlight. The restaurant is very clean, child-friendly and offers a welcoming atmosphere. After the renovation it looks even cozier and more attractive. We feel completely at home here and look forward to every visit.

At first you think wow, what a great offer, but we were extremely disappointed: Dried sushi, no matter what kind. Peking soup weak. Fried shrimp etc. were fried again to "freshen up" them and were correspondingly dry. Vegetables swim in fat. Everything that was available for the grill was frozen, and it tasted accordingly. It's also annoying when you have the last bite in your mouth and the plate is pulled away. Sorry, but in the early days the quality was better for a lower price.

The all-you-can-eat Chinese restaurant has a beautiful location - modernly furnished with high ceilings. Unfortunately, this is exactly what creates quite a loud background noise for many guests, which makes the meal a little less relaxing. The buffet offers a decent selection, and what's particularly cool is that you can put together fresh ingredients yourself and have them fried straight away. However, the signage needs to be improved: you often don't know exactly what you have on your plate, which is not ideal, especially for vegetarians. Unfortunately, the selection of vegetarian sushi is very limited - more variety would be nice. Overall, the price-performance ratio is good, especially if you have a lot of appetite. And a little eye-catcher is definitely the serving robot that drives through the restaurant. Conclusion: Okay for a sociable evening with lots of food in a relaxed atmosphere, but with a few weaknesses, especially in terms of orientation and the selection for vegetarians.

I was gestures in the Panda restaurant. The ambience was good until a Russian guest started rioting... the restaurant can't do anything about that... after that everything went quickly despite the stated opening time of 11:30 p.m., the chocolate fountain was already out at 9:15 p.m. and the buffet was no longer refilled. Suddenly it was no longer possible for us to order drinks from the staff and when we tried, the drinks simply didn't come... the employees were so loud while tidying up and cleaning that we no longer felt comfortable after 9:30 p.m.... the boss had nothing better to do than talk to employees in the entrance area until she moved them to the kitchen and then screamed so loudly for over 20 minutes that it could be heard throughout the entire restaurant... all the screens were also turned off, so that there was no longer any ambience was, you were passively aggressively thrown out of the store... from 9:50 p.m. we were almost the last ones to leave and disappointed!

I do not recommend at all!!!! There's only rice in sushi! Drinks are €4. The fruit smells rotten!!!!! They put ice cubes in one but not in the others.

By far the largest buffet selection I have ever seen. everything was super tasty. And they have service robots that can sing Happy Birthday

It used to be better. Many dishes now taste the same. Here the appearance is not right but the quality is not right. Unfortunately the temperature of the food is also not right. Sometimes it's almost cold. The clearing service constantly drives past the table with a cart full of dirty plates and leftover food. There are better restaurants in this category at these prices. Quantity instead of class is the motto here. Too bad.🫣

Very disappointing experience at China Panda. In addition to the unfriendly waitress, the buffet was not complete, many dishes were missing, and the shrimp were clearly not fresh. At the time of the bill, they tried to make us pay 45€ more without explanation. It was only after paying that they deigned to issue us the bill. When we objected, the staff pretended not to understand French or English and made no effort to resolve the problem. Dishonest attitude and terrible service. I absolutely do not recommend!

Literally the worst restaurant I've ever eaten in my life, meat wasn't good, fries weren't even warmed up, the food tasted like it had been there for 3 weeks, just a complete disaster NEVER AGAIN!!! Service very rude. It's sad that I even have to give one star. (see picture of hair on my dessert)

We were there for the lunch buffet. An impressive selection, there was constant replenishment in all areas. The Mongolian buffet was super fresh, lots of fish, seafood, other and diverse types of meat. Classic dishes, from subtle to spicy, all very clearly described! A large selection of sushi, 2 large chocolate fountains,... The staff very attentive! You had to get used to the robot controls that also drove, but they were cute. All in all, a thoroughly successful visit! Absolutely recommended!! The pictures only show a small excerpt of the large selection.

Everything was newly made.. It was actually really nice before.. The buffet now has even more selection.. I thought the quality was very good and it was always refilled straight away, even though it was very full. Everything was always there. You could only do something in the children's corner, I found it a bit unloving with just a TV in it 🙈 so much invested, but unfortunately not for the children.

What should you expect when there is such a huge restaurant there, more mass than class. There isn't much of the Chinese flair left, there are others if you're looking for something like that. It's cheap, nothing special in terms of taste, the atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired, the plum wine is served in a microwave-heated dessert glass. Experience gastronomy looks different.

It's a shame that there are no opening times or current renovation measures listed on Google. It's unnecessary to drive over 30 km to find a note on the door.

Everything was good, but it was too crowded and too loud, especially children where they were running and where they were helping themselves at the buffet. That's not possible, the restaurant can't do anything about it, but parents should be able to monitor their children or stay at home.

I was there with my wife and children. Normally a buffet is open there and you pay per person. I think €15.50 or something like that at first. They suggested where we should sit. Two of them were watching our children the whole time, what they were eating and in the end we were told yes, children are not allowed to take them everywhere and so on. So I find that embarrassing and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Thanks

Great buffet and nice service. Were there at 7:30 p.m. and it was wonderfully quiet and still well attended. Food was fantastic and nice and warm.

I agree, the food is good but the staff is very annoying. They kept looking at us and talking in Chinese. Afterwards they went around and told us to make sure everyone was finished eating. I understand that they don't want to waste food, but I just want to eat instead of being looked at and forced to eat. We weren't treated well either, probably because we are teenagers, but we are also human and want humane treatment. Please hire friendly, non-judgmental staff.

nous y sommes allaient dans ce chinois à 4, accueillis vaguement par une dame qui nous propose donc une table jusque la rien d'alarment. Le restaurant est très jolie et a une belle décoration. nous commandons à boire. Nous étant Français les carafes d'eau en France sont gratuites alors que en Allemagne elles sont payantes ( 5,50). Pas grand choix en therme de nourriture, les sauces ne sont pas étiquetaient. Quand nous sommes passaient au dessert il n'y avait presque plus rien il était 21h et il restait encore un peu de monde... les glaces non plus ne sont pas étiquetais... Mon papa décide donc d'alertait un servant concernant les dessert... Rien ne bouge et toujours pas de dessert en bref ce de France sont bien mieux mais nous faisons avec ce que l'on a !

We went to the Panda several times. But the last visit we were very disappointed. 7 of us had dinner. At the same time we put the plates next to each other to grill. One person got it about 10 minutes later and the others had to wait another 25 minutes. The Pekin soup was too spicy and you couldn't eat it. The rest didn't look inviting either. The dessert was empty. Too bad

A little disappointed, we arrive for lunch at 2 p.m. The restaurant closes at 3 p.m., but the choice of dishes is limited because in certain bins, there is nothing left and they do not restock! At 2:50 p.m., order a coffee and then we are told that it closes in 10 minutes. This is Germany!

Leider muss man 1 Stern geben. Das essen ist echt in Ordnung aber die Bedienung und das Personal ist schrecklich habe trinken bestellt nach 30 Minuten musste ich vor gehen und mir selbst nochmal etwas bestellen da ich nie etwas bekommen habe. Mit dem bezahlen der Rechnung war es noch schlimmer ich musste 4 mal sagen dass ich gerne zahlen würde und 40 Minuten warten bis jemand kam.
