Panda in Herrenberg

A classic Chinese restaurant, like the ones that were more common in the 90s. The food is good, the prices are reasonable, and the service is excellent. Unfortunately, we no longer live nearby, but we'd love to come back.

I love their noodle boxes! The duck is super delicious, not too dry but not too fatty either—I'd almost say it's perfect. And there were no cartilage or anything else in my duck, which I loved. 😇 I received a friendly welcome, and my meal was prepared quite quickly so I could take it with me! A fantastic family business where I'll be eating more often in the future, or picking up something to go :)

The dishes are delicious, and the portions are truly generous. No one leaves hungry. The prices are reasonable, too. The interior is a bit dated, but they do have a "waving cat" :-)

I was truly impressed by the restaurant! The food was fresh, delicious, and authentic, with a wide selection of dishes to suit every taste. The portions were generous, and the delivery was quick and efficient. I'd especially like to mention the friendly delivery man, Alex – he was extremely polite. Highly recommended!

Super delicious food, really special and not 0/8/15 "Chinese" food. Best wonton soup in years. Plus moderate prices and very friendly, attentive service. And finally no buffet, at least during the week. I'll be back soon!!!

A little old, but the food is delicious. Unfortunately no buffet as standard but à la carte is also ok.

The quality of the food is absolutely fine, and the portions are also reasonable for the price. What is objectionable, however, is that when we came as a couple, we were only given one menu because there was no other available. The restaurant was empty except for one other table. We also had to explicitly ask for the cutlery in order to get it. Visas are also not accepted, only visas and cash.

Food was ok. Good delivery time.

The food was very tasty. We were very ! nicely served. It's just a shame that you couldn't sit outside, it looked a bit chaotic 🙃. Definitely coming back!!!!

Evening, I ordered 2 dishes for €34 today on June 9, 2024 at 7 p.m. According to Lieferando, the order should arrive at 8:29 p.m. At around 8:30 p.m. I waited impatiently, the app said it would be delivered shortly. When it wasn't there at 9pm I got nervous as the takeaway had already closed. At around 9:10 p.m. I noticed that the order was suddenly canceled without notice and I was refunded the price of the dish. But they kept the 10% tip (€3.38). Unbelievable, never experienced anything like this.

Everything came and tasted good, but I was able to eat it from the delivery bag because the packaging was defective :/ I didn't think it was that good...

The selection, taste and appearance of the food were very good. Unfortunately Overall, the place seems a bit untidy.

Strangely, there was no buffet even though it was mentioned in the menu. The sauce on the plate when we ate was very good, but the sauce in the extra bowl that came with the plated meal was completely different - spicy - even though the plated meal was not marked as spicy. Overall it's okay, but it's not my personal first choice.

The food was okay so far, but in the end “Nothing special for the sum €”. Service and service was good and courteous. Now the big drawback - it feels like the restaurant concentrates on the Lieferando operation. We could only eat “a la carte” and the buffet, like the rest of the rooms, looked pretty old. The hygienic conditions on site raise further doubts (e.g. the staff washing their hands after using the toilet) as well as the toilets themselves. For us a “one time shot - no need to repeat”

Otherwise the food was always good, but the last time I ordered the rice tasted burnt.

Ordered for delivery for the second time & really recommend it as very good! Arrived hot and complete within the promised time. Order Family Happiness 3 people with 5 main courses, 3 soups, enough dessert. 57€ There are only two of us but because the minimum order value is €55 it's worth it. We eat like kings for 3 days 😉

We got to the restaurant just before 8 p.m. One table was occupied by 2 people. As soon as we walked in the door the young man told us that they would be closing at 9 p.m. today. We assured him that we would certainly be ready in a strong hour. I had pasta with vegetables and my husband had roast duck. The food was rather bland and the duck was rather dry. But the food was expensive. We used to go there often, but now we'll definitely never go there again.

Super schnelle Lieferung. Essen war auch sehr sehr lecker!

Essen gut und preiswert, Bedienung freundlich und schnell.

Haben bestellt und abgeholt. Ging wirklich fix. Bedienung war freundlich und das Ambiente, das ich kurz wahrgenommen hatte, war nett. Essen war heiß, auch als wir daheim angekommen sind. Portionen sind reichlich. Nichtsdestotrotz finde ich, dass das Restaurant gesalzen Preise aufruft und die Qualität des Essen ist solide, aber kein Highlight.

Super lecker und schnell. Einfach lecker und gemütlich! Es gibt kein Buffet was mich aber nicht stört.

Das Essen war wie immer sehr lecker :) Nur zu empfehlen.

Das Mittagessen war einwandfrei, die Bedienung war schnell und freundlich. Auch die Preise passen. Immer wieder gerne.

👍 Können wir nur Empfehlen! Angefangen von einer sehr freundlich Bedienung die sich richtig Zeit genommen hat um uns die Gerichte zu erklären. In kürzester Zeit hatten wir unsere Getränke🍺 und einige Minuten später schon unsere Vorspeisen. Bei dem Hauptmenü habe ich die Empfehlung vom Kellner probiert und er lag genau richtig,🤤 Die Portionen sind üppig, das Gemüse frisch und knackig. Also alles in Allem - Top !

Wir haben das erste Mal bestellt und liefern lassen. Das Essen kam nach ca. 45 Minuten. Sehr freundlicher Kurier. Essen war heiß, große Portion und sehr, sehr schmackhaft. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder bestellen.

Das Buffet hat eine gute Auswahl. Leider gibt es das aktuell nicht immer (absolut verständlich aus meiner Sicht). Die Gerichte a la Carte sind auch gut und auch die Portionen.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden und haben uns für das Zwillingsmenü für 2 Personen entschieden. Eine leckere Auswahl zum fairen Preis hat uns überzeugt. Der Service war ebenfalls sehr gut. Die Wartezeit am Donnerstagabend war total im Rahmen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Bestellen dort regelmäßig Essen - immer zufrieden! Das Essen ist frisch zubereitet und wird jedes mal heiß geliefert. Portionen sind mehr als ausreichend. Defitnitv zu empfehlen. Weiter so!

Super Leckeres Essen, sehr freundliches Personal zu guten Preisen. Jeden Urlaub den wir in der Nähe sind wird mindestens einmal dort bestellt/gegessen

Mal wieder sehr schnell und heiß geliefert. Und die Portionen sind groß und richtig lecker.

Bestellung und Zahlung online sowie Lieferung haben einwandfrei funktioniert. Essen war 10 min früher da als angegeben. Waren von den großen Portionen überrascht. Essen war sehr lecker und der Schärfegrad hat zur Beschreibung gepasst. Wir bestellen wieder. :)

Freundliches Personal, toller Service, leckeres Essen.

Essen war okay aber ich habe schon um Welten besser gegessen. Es war alles sehr ölig und wässrig und auch rotes Thai Curry war das nicht. Bestellen werde ich dort nicht mehr.

Wir haben einige Male dort das Buffet genossen. Es gab eine ausreichend große Auswahl, die Inhaber sind sehr freundlich und das Essen war in einer normalen Asia-Restaurant Liga. Es ist kein schickes Restaurant, eher einfach gehalten und gut. Ein Jubiläum, eine Hochzeit oder ähnliches würde ich hier eher nicht feiern. Am Wochenende oder auch zwischendurch essen gehen aber immer wieder und das sehr gerne!

Heute war Buffet angesagt, war sehr gute auswahl. Wir haben zu dritt mit Getränke und Trinkgeld gerade mal 60 € liegen lassen. Ich bin gerne hier und kann es guten gewissens empfehlen

Good taste but oily food also Little expensive compared to similar Asian Restaurant.

Die Bedienung freundlich, das Essen schmackhaft und optisch ansprechend, der Preis sehr fair. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Chef riecht nach Alkohol und Schweiß, versteht mich nicht gut.. Essen ist nicht mehr warm, eher kalt..

Bin enttäuscht von diesem Lokal. Ist mir zu schmuddelig. Schaut wenn möglich einfach mal so n die Küche, das erklärt alles

Schmuddelig! Wenig Auswahl, schlecht beschriftete Gerichte, kaum Geschmacksunterschiede zwischen den einzelnen Speisen. Der Eislöffel war in einem mit Eisresten verschmierten Wasserglas deponiert. Unweit davon war ein benutzter Putzlappen vergessen worden. Das Nachtischbuffett war zwar beschriftet, aber nicht bestückt. Sushi wurde gebraten serviert! Vermutlich um den rohen Fisch vor dem Verderben zu bewahren ;-) Nie wieder!
