Gustaggio - Pizzathek - Pastaria & Bar in Herrenberg

I would like to express my enthusiasm about the restaurant here. The food was a true taste experience - every dish was prepared with great attention to detail and surprised us with sophisticated flavors and perfect presentation. I would particularly like to emphasize the friendly service, especially Tarek. With his courteous manner he made the evening something very special. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

I’ve just had the best meal of my life. I have been living in Germany for 5 years and this is the best food I’ve had and for a very good price. My wife got a pizza, espresso, and soup, all for 12,50€. If this was anywhere close to where I live I would never cook again.

Very good food and very nice restaurant with an open kitchen. The lunch menu includes a soup of the day and smaller main courses and dessert. Bonus: you get pickled garlic and chili oil at the table. Overall very good there, although more expensive.

One star because there are no zero stars. Order for pickup looked like this: spaghetti from a parmesan wheel. The mixture was just oily. Probably warmed up in the pan. Cheese “served” in a cardboard box? None! Inedible. Vitello Tonnato. Also in a cardboard box. Four slices of meat were presented, carelessly thrown onto a blob of tuna paste, which was already halfway into the cardboard box. The finale was the garlic bread without garlic.

Very nice space. Calm atmosphere, friendly staff and very well prepared food.

Unfortunately I have to say that the last few visits weren't so good. We ate salad Esotica. The salad wasn't crunchy and afterwards I repeatedly had severe stomach pains and nausea. The pasta with shrimp caused the same thing for us. Has anything changed in the kitchen? I always really enjoy going there.

Super delicious food, great ambience and a great surprise from Sheki 😉🙃 who served us a treat because my sister came especially from Reichenbach unterer Rechberg. The management of the Gustaggio is also commendable 👌

Was there with friends at lunchtime. My pizza was good and 'huge'. All 3 of us got a soup of the day and a desert 'on the house'... although only 1 ordered from the daily menu. For them there was 1 more espresso. Thank you for that. I can definitely recommend the restaurant!!!

The food is incredibly delicious (whether it's a starter, pizza or pasta dish). I think it's particularly great that the pasta is made in-house. The service is super nice. Highly recommended!

I've been to Gustaggio several times, but unfortunately I've noticed that the quality has deteriorated. There was a dirty fork at my seat, which I pointed out to the staff - but received no apology. From my experience as a waitress (six years), I know that an apology should be a given in such cases. Furthermore, from where I was sitting I could see that the lamp was covered in cobwebs. Although it may be difficult to clean this area, this shouldn't happen in a restaurant. I had a Caesar salad, which was generally good, but had obviously been changed without mentioning it on the menu. I didn't like it and would have ordered it if it had been on the menu. My mother ordered the surf and turf salad, but the meat was of such poor quality that she couldn't eat it. Finally, I wanted to drink a tea that costs €3.50 (see picture). Unfortunately it was served in a very small cup, which is disappointing considering the price. For this price I would have expected at least a larger cup (+ a cookie.) All in all I am disappointed with the restaurant. Although the decor is nice and the staff friendly, quality is lacking. When the Gustaggio reopened, they seemed to put more effort into it. Of course, mistakes can happen, and a dirty fork could be an isolated incident. But poor meat, cobwebs and the size of the teacup are aspects that should definitely be reconsidered. Ps. I can still highly recommend soup, even if it is served smaller (less quantity) than back then.

Ich habe hier mit einer Freundin zu Abend gegessen - zum zweiten Mal, wohlgemerkt. Da ich beim ersten Mal nicht ganz überzeugt war und 45 min auf meine wenig belegte Pizza warten musste habe ich dieses Mal den Surf and Turf Salat gewählt. Der kam zwar schnell, war aber mehr als überteuert, zudem habe ich mich schon gefragt ob man bei 3 kleinen Kirschtomaten-Hälften diese überhaupt auf der Karte angeben müsse. Mein Grillgemüse war nicht nur teilweise verkohlt, es bestand auch nur aus 1 dünnen Streifen Zucchini und 1 dünnen Streifen Aubergine(schwarz...) und etwa 1/6 einer Paprika. Das Dressing war gut. Wären nicht überall im Salat die Barthaare der Garnelen rumgelegen (die musste ich auch noch selber schälen) hätte ich die kleine Portion wenigstens geschmacklich genießen können. Der Salat meiner Begleitung, bei dem Avocado als Zutat auf der Karte stand enthielt nach langem Suchen immerhin 1,5 dünnste Scheiben Avocado. Es war beim ersten Besuch schon extrem laut und das hat sich auch nicht geändert. Der Service war zwar freundlich und schnell, hat aus unseren Beschwerden zu den Salaten leider auch nichts gemacht. Aus genannten Gründen werde ich dort nicht mehr zum essen gehen.

Great ambience, top service, delicious food

I had a great experience in this restaurant. Since our son is only about 2 months old, we were allowed to go to the back where it was very quiet so that our little one could continue sleeping. A huge compliment to the entire staff, thank you for your kindness! The food was very edible and prepared with love. The working atmosphere in this restaurant seemed very pleasant. I would eat here again and recommend it to anyone who wants something delicious to eat.

The pizzas are great, the atmosphere is very stylish and cozy, the waitresses are super attentive and have a great charisma :)

Wir hatten die Vorspeisenplatte, Salate und Pizzen. Alles hat wirklich sehr lecker geschmeckt. Die Pizzen sind sehr groß, haben aber einen dünnen Boden und eine angenehme Menge Belag. Der Service ist leider etwas unsympathisch. Eine weitere Person im Service wäre bei der Menge an Gästen angebracht.

Had dinner here with my big family. Even though everything was packed, we were served very friendly and quickly. The staff did a really great job. Our food was praised by the whole family.

Given the prices, I expected something great. However, I was taught otherwise. The starter plate still tasted okay. My salad only tasted sour and the fried one was cold. A friend's pizza was like rubber. Even an oven pizza is better. The service was inattentive and the whole team ran around the house with their heads down. Price/performance doesn't suit me at all. Neither the ambience nor the optics break it down.

Waiting for 1 hour for the food was simply forgotten... after vigorously asking where the food was, the food was there after 10 minutes, two out of four meals were almost cold. Too bad.

Recently my friends and I went there for dinner. The atmosphere was cozy and I can highly recommend the Pizza Funghi. The young waiter with the short curly hair was also very accommodating and sweet :) I can only recommend it!

The food was delicious and beautifully prepared. Disadvantage: Prices are hefty and unfortunately the invoice could not be correctly issued to the company address.

Unfortunately, the second time I didn't have a very good experience on site. The food had way too much garlic and pepper and unfortunately the soup tasted like a bag every time. What a shame!

Pizza baked live and right in front of you. Super attentive waitresses. The lunch menu is great value for money. Was there for the first time today, definitely won't be the last time 💪

Unfortunately the noodle portions have become very small. You don't get full at all. Otherwise, I love the pasta in the restaurant. I would be happy if the portions were increased again, like they used to be.

A few weeks ago I was at the location in Herrenberg and ordered a Pizza Funghi. The funghi was there, but unfortunately there were also pieces of salami on the edge of the pizza. As a vegetarian, this was very unpleasant for me as I didn't notice it straight away. When I pointed this out to the waitress, I had to wait 5-10 minutes before anyone came to the table. The answer to that was simply: “It happens.” I found this reaction disappointing and unprofessional. Today I wanted to reserve a table by phone, but I was on hold for at least 5-10 minutes and apparently was forgotten. There was also no call back. I think these experiences are a shame because the location actually has potential. I hope the service will be improved in the future.

My old grandma from Croatia, who knows Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, came to visit us and we had an excellent dinner! The food was great and the service was even better. Even though she is old and walks with a crutch, she said she would come here again to eat! Great!

Special requests (pizza without shrimp)? Didn't work. Ordered pizza with buffalo mozzarella and pistachio cream. Came without buffalo mozzarella. Only after explicitly asking about it did I get the hint that buffalo mozzarella was unfortunately out. Was still calculated. Other parts of the order also had missing listed ingredients. Pizza was ok. It was probably the last time.

The pizza was absolutely terrible - cold and tasteless, even though we picked it up ourselves. It's really irresponsible to even release something like this. After we called and said that the pizza was cold and inedible, we were offered a tiramisu 'on the house' next time. This is just ridiculous. Instead of fixing the problems straight away, we were promised a little treat for the future - as if that could make up for the bad experience. We definitely won’t order here again.”

The pizzas are very good. Service was okay, very friendly but it was just very busy and the waiters felt a bit struggling to keep up with the rush. Pizzas relatively expensive, but huge. Drinks rather expensive.

Went there spontaneously for lunch while passing through. It was very empty and pleasant at that time. Nice ambience. The food was very tasty and a big plus goes to the open kitchen. The pasta was homemade and a carbonara made from the Parmesan cheese. The wine wasn't that good. Pizza so big that we could eat it the next day. The dough was just very, very tasty. Toilets were very clean. Chairs for the children very impractical and uncomfortable. Otherwise everything was great

If you pay €25 for a pasta in a parmesan wheel tossed with truffles, then I want to be full from the portion. You open the box at home and are amazed at the small portion. After the portion I asked myself what I can eat now. Service is really top. The food is good but sometimes the noodles are a bit too cooked, hence four stars. But that's a matter of taste! But I can easily recommend the restaurant. Ambience 4 stars because it is located at the train station and doesn't have the best outdoor area.

Congratulations, that was the most expensive Margherita pizza I've ever eaten, 13.50 euros. The pizza is 1/3 smaller, half as much cheese on it and the price is under 10 euros and I might come back. Anyone who likes a completely soggy pizza base and is willing to eat an abundance of cheese should go there. I love eating pizza, but when I see the cheese floating on it, I lose my appetite.

We had a reservation for 4 with some friends that know the place. We ordered 3 different pizzas and a dish of pasta. I must say we have a vacation house in Italy so we go very often to Italy. This was the worst pizzas I ever had and certainly not an Italian style pizza. I can’t still get past it. Moreover they give leftovers in plastic containers that will end in the trash right away. Not very environmentally friendly. We asked for lemonade, and they didn’t have, it was a Saturday at 5 pm, the night not even started. And it’s quite pricey. Not one single vegan option. The place looks nice but that just it. I wouldn’t come back.

Unfortunately it's no longer what it was...crunchy lettuce works differently...how long has it been in the dressing? Loveless... little avocado and mango and yesterday's pizza bread? Dry chicken...expected better for the price...I won't come back...there is better...no recommendation...and not particularly friendly either...it's a shame...

Large restaurant with lots of seats. Bar and outdoor area. Direct view into the kitchen through large glass windows. The food is good quality, but the price/performance ratio is still just OK. For a pasta and also for some pizzas you can easily pay 15-20 euros. For this money, the taste at Rado in Herrenberg is a touch better. Therefore only 4 out of 5 stars.

Everything is really right here. Great atmosphere and very tasty Italian food. Basically “la dolce vita” in the middle of Herrenberg. Wasn't the first nor the last time there.

We were there for lunch today. The lunch menu has become quite small, as have the pizzas. These are still very tasty, but we lack a selection. The waitresses are very attentive, super nice (despite the really full house) and always friendly. The pizza bread for €7 consisted of 3 small slices of bread and is really overpriced.

Ordered 4 tuna pizzas, the fish was bad and we felt sick and numb in the mouth. The complaint was initially rejected. The health department was informed.

We have been loyal customers for many years, both previously in Sindelfingen and now in Herrenberg when Gustaggio opened here. As residents of Herrenberg, we were of course very happy when the restaurant came to our area. But unfortunately our impression has deteriorated significantly recently. First of all, I would like to emphasize that the food at Gustaggio is really delicious. However, the prices are no longer in proportion to what is on offer. Of course, we are aware that prices rise in times of inflation - that's understandable, as everything becomes more expensive for retailers too. But what is happening here is simply exaggerated. Two years ago a Margherita pizza cost €8.90, but today it costs €13.50. This corresponds to an increase of 51.69%. This is no longer comprehensible to us and seems like usury, even if the pizza tastes good. Another point is the waiting time. It is unacceptable that you sometimes have to wait 40 minutes to an hour for your food. If you ask over the phone, you will be referred from one waiter to another without getting a clear answer. With these high prices, you also expect corresponding service - but unfortunately this is not always the case. This pattern also continues with the salads. Prices here start at around €18, which is simply not justified for a bit of salad. Of course we're willing to pay for good quality and good service, but at Gustaggio the value for money and service just don't match. Other restaurants offer comparable quality at much fairer prices.

Unfortunately it's no longer what it used to be. The pizzas are suddenly small, hardly any toppings, but the same price. This time I only picked it up, but the box was still full earlier. Now it's half empty. Very disappointing. We won't get pizza here anymore!

Wow, a 10/10 from the outside, the pizzeria is really nice inside too, clean toilets, beautiful design everywhere. I was able to sit down straight away and then ordered straight away. The food is so delicious! The prices are expensive everywhere in Germany, I think. So my conclusion if you're thinking about going here, just do it, it's worth it.

Nice restaurant but a bit slow even though it was less busy. The dishes were lukewarm when they arrived. Grilled squid rings were a bit too big. We had an Arrabiata that was extremely spicy. Normally we eat spicy but we couldn't eat it here. Otherwise they didn't check whether cutlery was there or whether we needed anything else, there were four of us and only three starter plates came, when we asked for another one they forgot.

17€ pizza, 27€ spaghetti parmesan which is briefly tossed in the loaf. Coke almost 5€!!! Prices are way too high. We've always been happy to come, but now we'll look for a real Italian restaurant. The waitresses were sometimes friendlier, very arrogant and almost annoyed by customers. Pizza was ok, cheese seemed like it was of poorer quality. Unfortunately, pasta was cold and the portion was smaller than a year ago. Conclusion: It was great in the beginning, but now it's too unfriendly and massively overpriced! There was also a lot less going on than at the beginning - there's a reason for that.

Very tasty food. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is modern and clean.

A very large store (the atmosphere suffers a bit as a result), but very stylishly furnished. The portions are incredibly large (good value for money) and really extremely tasty! The service at Sheki accompanied us well throughout the evening and even larger groups (there were 11 of us) were no problem - everything came at the same time and special requests were also easily addressed. Top location and definitely worth repeating, clear recommendation!

The food is good but definitely doesn't justify the prices!!! 17€ for a pizza?? Even in Stuttgart you don't pay that price at the most famous pizzerias...

Not recommended for the lunch break. It takes a very long time to be served. I had to leave the restaurant after about 40 minutes because the break time was already over and I only got the starter salad until then. In my absence, despite canceling the order beforehand, the food was still brought to the table, but unfortunately the wrong dish... and despite the colleagues who were still present explaining again that the food was no longer needed, the correct order was later brought... And every time you wanted to repackage the takeaway food… absolute chaos… P.S. A small cola now costs 4 euros… There are plenty of more pleasant and cheaper places in Sifi for lunch.

Unfortunately, my pizza didn't arrive until my colleagues had already eaten their pasta dish. My pizza was probably forgotten first. Unfortunately, it was taken out of the oven perhaps 2 minutes too early, so things had to be done quickly... Unfortunately the base wasn't baked properly. Due to the delay until the food arrived, I didn't have time to complain because our lunch break was unfortunately not enough. I don't think only Fior di Latte was used either. The pizza was far too greasy for that. Quality of the salami is also rather average. Unfortunately I can't recommend the food (pizza).

Firstly, the pasta is cold, undercooked and very poorly seasoned. Secondly, the 4 cheese pizza, although very large, is quite disgusting. The service is also quite poor. Not a lot of interactions, very little smiling anyway... On the other hand, the setting is quite nice but I won't go back.

It took a long time until we got the food. Kellerner was super nice. The food was pretty spicy, the taste was OK, but the prices were high. The chairs are quite uncomfortable without cushions.
