War mit einem Arbeitskollegen heute essen, sehr freundliches nettes Personal, sowohl die junge Mitarbeiterin als auch der Chef sehr freundlich und immer auf das Wohl des Gastes bedacht. Das Essen war auch sehr gut und die Portion genau auf den Punkt. Wenn ich wieder in Herrenberg, komme ich gerne vorbei auf leckere Pasta.

Essen war geschmacklich gut und auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat gepasst. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zu Beginn auch aufmerksam. Zwischendurch wurde zwar nach uns geschaut, gegen Ende unseres Besuchs hatten wir jedoch das Gefühl, etwas vergessen worden zu sein. Vor allem bis wir bezahlen konnten, hat es leider ziemlich lange gedauert. Der Innenbereich wirkte auf uns nicht klimatisert, wodurch es recht warm war. Der Außenbereich liegt direkt an der Gasse. Dadurch laufen ständig Leute vorbei und schauen einem beim Essen auf den Teller. Vielleicht könnte man den Außenbereich mit einem Sichtschutz oder einer anderen Abtrennung etwas privater gestalten. Kartenzahlung ist möglich. Parkplätze direkt am Restaurant gibt es allerdings nicht. Insgesamt hatten wir trotzdem einen schönen Besuch und würden wiederkommen.

Sehr leckere glutenfreie Pasta und Pizza – eine tolle Auswahl und geschmacklich wirklich hervorragend. Freundlicher Service vor allem Davide und angenehme Atmosphäre. Klare Empfehlung!

Ein rundum hervorragendes Restaurant! Das Essen ist frisch, fantastisch zubereitet und geschmacklich einfach großartig. Besonders der Fisch ist exzellent, und die Pizza gehört für mich zu den besten in der Umgebung. Dazu kommt ein sehr freundlicher, aufmerksamer und zuvorkommender Service, bei dem man sich sofort willkommen fühlt. Die Osteria da Gino in Herrenberg ist absolut empfehlenswert – wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Bedienung überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ein exzellentes Restaurant mit hervorragendem Service – auch die Speisen waren perfekt angerichtet.

Ein wirklich wunderbares italienisches Restaurant, geführt von einer echten italienischen Familie. Es bietet eine gemütliche, familienfreundliche Atmosphäre. Die Speisekarte ist köstlich und abwechslungsreich, insbesondere die Fisch- und Meeresfrüchtegerichte, und dazu noch sehr preiswert. Schon beim Betreten des Restaurants strömen einem köstliche Düfte entgegen, die viele Gäste anlocken. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich; selbst bei vollem Haus fanden sie noch einen Tisch für uns. Dennoch empfiehlt es sich, vor allem bei größeren Gruppen, im Voraus zu reservieren. Wenn Sie durch die Herrenberger Altstadt schlendern, ist dieses Restaurant definitiv einen Besuch wert.

Das Essen ist lecker, der Service schnell und freundlich, wir sind häufiger dort und geniessen den Mittagstisch.

Italienisches Flair in Sachen Einrichtung. Sehr zuvorkommender Service. Mega leckeres Essen. Wir hatten einen schönen Mädelsabend. Achtung, Treppen, nix für Leute mit Rollator etc.

Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut. Der Service war in Ordnung. Bei den sehr fairen Preisen kann man uneingeschränkt eine Empfehlung aussprechen.

Wir bestellten Mittagessen. Leckere, hausgemachte Pastagerichte zu fairen Preisen. Das Tagesgericht waren Gnocchi mit Spinat und Gorgonzola, dazu ein Salat als Vorspeise für 9 €. Beides war köstlich, nur der Salat hatte für meinen Geschmack etwas zu viel Dressing. Die Tagliatelle mit Pilzen waren frisch und schmackhaft. Die Bruschetta war perfekt gewürzt, mit einer leichten Knoblauchnote, frischen, süßen Tomaten und Basilikum auf warmem Brot. Die Portionen waren großzügig. Der Kellner war freundlich und erklärte uns die Tagesgerichte auf Englisch. Es war mitten in der Woche, aber das Restaurant war voll mit Einheimischen … das sagt doch alles … essen Sie dort, wo die Einheimischen essen!

Unfortunately, the service was beyond rude. After we paid, we were manipulatively told to leave the restaurant, even though we still had half a glass of wine left, and told we were "nice people." Barely five minutes passed between the bill and the request to leave. Afterwards, the staff complained loudly about us. This is not a restaurant where you can spend a pleasant evening, and every cent of tip was too much!

We visited the restaurant last night. We had ordered by phone. Unfortunately, we had to wait 15 minutes before we got our table. The service was friendly and polite. The food tasted good, but unfortunately, the plates were cold, which is typical for this time of year! We sat right by the window, under which was a radiator. Unfortunately, the radiator was filthy and completely covered in grime, which negatively impacted our overall impression of the restaurant.

Delicious Italian and Swabian cuisine. I especially like the lunch menu. There are always three daily specials – each with salad – at reasonable prices. Highly recommended in the evenings, too. The staff is amazing! Always up for a joke, and you can feel the Italian joie de vivre. I'm already looking forward to the next time.

The food was simply fantastic: The pasta was fresh and perfect, the sauces wonderfully flavorful. I especially recommend the tiramisu for dessert – light, creamy, and not too sweet. We were there with five people. The menu is clear and offers a wide selection. Despite the Italian cuisine, there are also Swabian dishes. This shows that the Herrenberg location, with its diverse clientele, is taken seriously. Excellent. The food was really good; we all enjoyed it very much. For example, pumpkin soup as a starter or side salads, which were reliably served before the main course upon request. The main courses were also very tasty: salmon with spinach, pasta with fillet strips in a cognac sauce, and the eggplant dish (actually a starter, but it was served as a main course with a correspondingly larger portion as requested). The service that evening was provided by young men. Relaxed and humorous, very attentive, respectful, friendly, and helpful. Overall, it was a successful evening in a highly recommended restaurant!

The pizza is delicious and the atmosphere is lovely. The staff were nice and friendly. Parking is very difficult; you have to walk at least 5-10 minutes. However, the market square is just around the corner.

We had five pizzas delivered on Sunday after ordering well in advance. What can I say? The driver arrived incredibly punctually, and all the pizzas were absolutely delicious and piping hot. Definitely the best pizza in terms of taste.

This pre-made pizza was a complete disaster at the town festival. The pre-made pizza that was sold heated at the town festival was simply disgusting. When I asked the employee about it, he just said it was getting late. No comment. Shouldn't a sale at an event like this be a showcase for a shop like this?

Our visit with our regulars was a complete success. From the very attentive service to the overall impression of a great restaurant. The very fair price-performance ratio is definitely worth highlighting - the way you managed this rump steak was an absolute dream (we suspect sous vide and then beef stew). Delicious food and very friendly service!

The service was excellent, very friendly, fast, and attentive. We didn't like the pizza; the dough was too dense and, towards the end, so tough it was almost impossible to cut. The cheese wasn't mozzarella, but something very spicy and salty. The decor is old and very poorly designed; the next room has bare walls. What a shame.

NOT recommended! The schnitzel wasn't good at all. It wasn't cooked properly and smelled and tasted faintly of fish. The price/performance ratio for this meal was also way too high. The pizza was too greasy and had no flavor. The pancake soup was also tasteless; the soup was just boiled water, and the dough was too soft. It was as if it had been in the soup since that morning. When we were asked if it tasted good and we said no, the waitress simply walked away and didn't accommodate us in any way. We would NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Very tasty food with good value for money.

Osteria da Gino was a culinary discovery for us. We had fish soup, octopus, pork loin, and the house salad. All wonderfully prepared culinary delicacies in generous portions. The biggest surprise was the fish soup with rich ingredients and two bruschettas on the side. Excellent value for money. To finish, we finished with an excellent espresso and a tiramisu with a Sicilian twist. The service was very professional and entertaining. We'll be back!

The food is truly excellent; I can recommend it without reservation. Great value for money. The restaurant is beautifully nestled in the old town, but unfortunately, the interior is very dated and lacks any flair. Overall, it's a good place to eat, but not a place to linger.

Letzte Woche Donnerstag habe ich telefonisch einen Tisch für Samstag reserviert. Als wir am Samstagabend dort ankamen wurde und knapp beschieden, dass sie keine Reservierung für uns haben. Es gab keine Entschuldigung vom Restaurant und wir wurden eiskalt stehen gelassen. Da ich über die Homepage gegangen bin, um die Telefonnummer zu haben und von dort anzurufen ist ein Irrtum meinerseits völlig ausgeschlossen.

The boss wore Adidas sweatpants. I had a veal schnitzel with fries. The food was not very tasty and poorly presented. My friend had hunter's steak with spaetzle. The meat was tough, and the spaetzle tasted like it was store-bought and not homemade. I would never eat there again.

Very good tasting Authentic Italian Restaurant

Almost the entire service, including the boss, except the young man, are extremely unfriendly and even arrogant. The food was ok, hollandaise sauce was cold. They make no effort in the service in any way. They don't help you find a suitable table or help you choose the wine. You are seated somewhere, they don't say anything about the wine. You are left alone with the card. An exception has been made for guests who are known there. I'm annoyed that I even asked for a tip, especially since the boss took it himself. The beef fillet was puny and still expensive. I don't do that to myself anymore!

Great restaurant. We happened to land on a holiday. Seasonal menu with delicious asparagus dishes. Service was friendly and quick, food was tasty and fair prices. Espresso was also great. We'd love to come back

We were there 2 days ago. Service very friendly. Ambience neat and beautiful. The food was very cheap, but that's how it tasted, we were totally dissatisfied with the pasta, tasteless sauce, far too much garlic and oil. The roast beef strips were delicious.

Fantastic pizzas & salad. Good choices with food and flexibility to accommodate with different choices of toppings. Very fast and efficient service, for food and drinks. All the staff were very friendly, especially Gino, who made us feel very welcome. we return when in the area again- thank you Gino

Italienische Gastlichkeit. Man wird begrüßt, als ob man Stammgast sei. Der Service ist aufmerksam und freundlich. Die Hauptgerichte sehr schmackhaft - die Pizzen (meine Leibspeise) sehr lecker. Preislich im Rahmen. Man bekommt nicht nur Geschmack für sein Geld, sondern auch Herzlichkeit. Eine Reservierung ist empfehlen.

Good home-style and Italian cuisine, very nice staff. Daily meals are also served. Prices are absolutely ok. The home-baked little rolls that are served as an accompaniment for snacking are a poem. .

Due to training courses, I have had lunch at this Italian restaurant several times and can therefore simply recommend it. I've tried a variety of pizzas and can only recommend them. According to others, the pasta dishes were also delicious. So if you're looking for a little bit of Italy in the middle of Herrenberg, Osteria da Gino is the right place for you.

Wir waren zum Silvesteressen im Da Gino. Leider hat die Küche schon um 22 Uhr geschlossen und es gab nicht einmal mehr einen Nachtisch. Wir wurden sehr unhöflich abgefertigt und abkassiert. Es wurde uns die Getränke zu teuer berechnet, da es die falschen Getränke waren, die berechnet wurden... Auch 2 ältere Damen neben uns durften nicht einmal ihren Barolo zuende trinken! Sehr unhöflich seit es nicht mehr der alte Besitzer ist! Nie wieder!!

Nettes italienisches Lokal am Marktplatz. Gute Auswahl an köstlichen italienischen Speisen. Spaghetti aglio e olio waren perfekt. Leider ein Punktabzug für die separat bestellten Scampi, hier war der Nettofischanteil mehr als gering . Als Tipp: lieber Garnelen dazu bestellen, da weiß man auch, was auf dem Teller liegt . Der Dessertteller war grandios, dolce und verführerisch. Eine handwerkliche Meisterleistung.

The Rigatoni Mare et Monti were incredibly delicious. The tagliatelle al filetto were also very tasty. Lasagna is also particularly good. A reservation is mandatory on the weekend (I've never been during the week, so I have no idea what it's like during the week) Nice, cheerful service.

Everything was fine. I reserved a table and it was waiting for us. Lunch is very tasty and was ready quickly. We ate two different pizzas and spaghetti carbonara once. The red wine is also really great. The service was perfect. The waiters are polite, attentive and funny. We will come back one hundred percent. Thanks.

It was our first time there and I will never come again! The service at this restaurant was absolutely disappointing. The man who served us, covered in neck tattoos, was extremely rude and unprofessional. He barely noticed us and seemed annoyed by our presence. The food may be good we don't know yet because we didn't eat!.. but the poor service definitely ruined the experience. I definitely won't come back and can't recommend this restaurant..

Great Food, Friendly staff, forgot to take pictures was too enthusiastic about eating. But salads, Antipasti, and Pizzas were really great. Ambience inside was great too.

Main course was good, the pork fillet could have used 2-3 minutes less, it was cooked through and squeaked slightly when chewed.

Nice staff, good ambiance, and good quality food. We both ordered something off the meat menu. Both were cooked the way we requested. They came with a small salad, bread, and side of your choice. The pan fried potatoes with bacon was really good. One important note is they take credit card, just not AMEX.
