The food was great, but letting a long-haired dog through the buffet area where food was displayed was absolutely disgusting. It was a strange dog, and they let it in where its hair could get into the food? NO. Furthermore, the service was unfriendly.

The buffet was truly amazing! There's a huge selection of different types of fish and beef, too. Everything was fresh and delicious. The value for money is absolutely spot on; it's definitely worth it! Friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. I'd be happy to come back.

The food is delicious and really good. I think the value for money for all you can eat and drink is excellent. What I'm actually deducting two stars for, however, is the card payment. Only EC cards are accepted. No Visa, debit, or similar. EC cards are no longer available at many banks. I don't have a single one, and I'm with three banks. This urgently needs to be addressed.

The sweet and sour soup was deliciously spicy, and the strawberry cake was delicious. Drink prices were surprisingly reasonable. Overall, the buffet was nothing to complain about. The downside was that it took a while to refill, which was probably due to the fact it was full.

An excellent restaurant! The food is outstanding and extremely tasty. The selection is diverse—from sushi, breaded calamari, and onion rings to crispy duck and chicken, as well as various sauces, rice, noodles, fresh fruit, cakes, and even a chocolate fountain. We visited the restaurant on a Friday evening, and I highly recommend it.

We've been there more than once, but always in the evening—meaning the grill is included in the price. I like the battered dishes the most. I don't recommend the sushi at all, it's dry and tasteless. Everything else is great.

We've just settled the bill, and we're still sitting at our table. In my opinion, this restaurant, for what is a "standard" all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet, truly deserves 5 stars for a Sunday lunch! The only small improvement would be... adding the missing dishes that aren't listed on the plates (e.g., the cheese pastries baked in batter). Otherwise, top-notch service! Drinks were served quickly, plates were always cleared quickly, and the buffet was very clean, even at peak times! And we thought the buffet was great...!! The price/performance ratio is completely justified and good!!! We'll be back

We came here for dinner for the first time. It was a Friday evening with a reservation. The reception was friendly, and drinks were served quickly. The buffet offers everything from fried to pre-cooked dishes. You can also put together your own grilled dishes and have them grilled with various sauces. Everything at the buffet was rather warm. By the time you got to your table, it had cooled down. There was a sufficient selection. The pre-cooked dishes were very fatty and stringy, especially the duck and meat. The buffet was always very slow to restock. Such long waits make you lose your appetite. The thought that this is intentional just keeps coming back. Because if you have to wait a long time, you eat less but pay full price. It's rewarding for the operator, but frustrating for the customer. -The service is very lackluster, which is clearly reflected in their behavior. -The buffet is usually empty, and you wait in vain for the food to be refilled...

At lunchtime all you can eat per person for €19 including drinks, that's great. We happened to be there on my birthday - unfortunately there were only two of us, as the four of us eat free for the birthday child 😊. Mega selection. There was everything the German heart loves about Chinese food. There is also a salad buffet and soups and desserts. Yes, it was lukewarm, but tasty...and the huge selection of drinks: all brands. Coca Cola, bionade... fully automatic coffee machines... were really enthusiastic, even if you can't eat and try that much. Very nice service. Very clean. The presentation of the food was also really clean and good. The ambience: you have to like it, it's just huge. Space for an alarmingly large number of people. But that was known. I don’t like to write negative comments, but our family was in this establishment for the first and last time. We visited Asia Palast in Villingen on March 8th, having made reservations in advance. The food is tasty and fresh, although the choice is not very large. There’s not much sushi, there’s even less fish in the rolls, but that’s okay too. The attitude was unpleasant, namely from one waitress (Asian in appearance, middle aged), who almost immediately came up to us and said that we already had enough food. Believe me, we are cultured. She constantly walked between the tables and looked into the plates. Later, when we asked her to open the window (it was stuffy in the hall), it was done with this look... We ourselves, of course, could have opened the window, but after the remark with food, we didn’t want another remark to completely ruin our mood on the holiday. There were other waiters there, but for some reason none of them behaved as brazenly as this lady. There is a similar establishment in Offenburg - I recommend it.

When we arrived, many of the bowls in the buffet were empty. It was restocked but the opportunity to try everything wasn't there for us! Sushi was not chilled but at room temperature - no thanks! At some point, the mess at the chocolate fountain was “smeared” away with paper towels. During the week the buffet costs around €11 - on Sunday it's double that! For the rather moderately filled buffet and the whole atmosphere today (Sunday) it's a hard price that we won't pay again! By the way, our son (4) ate a total of 1 plate: shameful cost: 11€!!! Good: Plates were cleared quickly. Some fresh fruit. Live chef who prepares the desired dish. Conclusion: This restaurant definitely didn't convince us!

The food was overall disappointing. It was pretty average, mostly fried or grilled, and the fruit was canned - there were no fresh options. The squid in particular was strange, with long, thread-like strips that resembled plastic and could only be removed by tearing them off. When we had a question about the squid, an employee yelled at us in front of other guests. The staff also didn't speak any German and seemed unfriendly.

Called yesterday to book a table for 6. Had to call twice for someone to pick up my call. When they finally answered I just asked if I can speak english, as I am an UK resident. Been told "No" and then I asked the person at the end of the call to wait a bit, as I was gonna use a translator. They ended the call 2 seconds after I've been told that I cannot speak english. Disgusting. Yes, I get it, you want everyone to speak your language, but we are the one that pay, at the end of the day. I don't recommend this if you don't speak german. Low class service, really. We went to this Asian restaurant yesterday. We paid a lot for the food but unfortunately it was inedible. We had to wait about 30 minutes for the food. My friend left some food on her plate. The owner said it was fine, but an employee yelled at us and even gestured with her hand. Still, my friend said she would happily pay for the extra. This was really disrespectful and even though we were regulars I don't think we will be coming back.

I don't recommend it, they are too rude. I went to my husband and asked him the difference between the menu and the buffet to decide which was better. And the man left us talking alone and left in a very rude manner. We left immediately

Because a salad consisting of iceberg salt and canned corn and half a portion of fried noodles (gathered from three plates onto one plate so that the waitress has less to do). I went there to eat about once a week on my lunch break for a few months. Until recently I had nothing to complain about. I always ordered a lunch menu without a drink (not a buffet). Food came quickly, service was friendly, payment was easy too. I always greeted, thanked and said goodbye in a friendly manner. When I last went there during my lunch break (10-15 minute walk), it was packed. There were people standing or walking around in the entrance area and no employee was anywhere to be seen. Since I don't have much time during my lunch break, I went further into the restaurant and found two empty tables for two people each on the side, where I have eaten several times. As soon as I sat down, a middle-aged couple came up with the waitress (whom I know well from my previous visits) and pointed at me saying, "She was there after us! She came after us!" The couple appeared to have been waiting at the entrance to be assigned a table. They didn't have a reservation. Since I didn't mean any harm and didn't want to be disrespectful, I stood up and gave my seat to the couple. As I said, another table for two was also unoccupied. The waitress was obviously annoyed and told me that I couldn't just walk into the restaurant and that I always had to wait in the entrance area until an employee showed me to the table. By the way, that's not written anywhere. On my numerous other visits it always somehow worked. That day was very busy and confusing and I didn't have much time during my lunch break. There was no waitress in sight when I arrived. The service (or owner?) was neither understanding nor friendly. He didn't offer me another seat or apologize that there might be no seats left. Instead I had to ask him if he had room for one person. His answer was terse, “No.” Then I asked if that meant I could just leave. Answer: "Yes". I calmly asked if they really didn't have room for one person anymore and if they were really serious that I should just leave. Another quick confirmation. Finally, I explained that if this is the way this restaurant treats customers and they seem to have enough customers, I won't be going there at all in the future. This was also confirmed by the waitress without any regrets. Again: I have almost always had to deal with this same service on my previous visits. That day I realized that the restaurant doesn't really care about the customers and their satisfaction as long as they pay. Their reputation doesn’t seem to matter at all either. If I had been treated kindly, I too would have understood. So I almost felt like a felon and completely unwanted. The way the Asia Palace responded to some of the negative comments here also confirms my experience. I will never go there again and will advise anyone else who plans to do so as well. Warning: Not suitable for children. We were passing through and like buffet restaurants like this. We are used to children (our child is 10 years old) not paying the full price. Since she only eats a few fries. They see things differently here and we moved on!

It's always good to know that the kitchen AND the chefs are neat when you visit a restaurant. The freshly fried food was particularly good and the meat was on point. We ended up here while passing through. Very, very good food and enough choice for a great price (€11.90 buffet). Service is on point, plates are always cleared and there is always fresh water for the ice cream scoop! The Cola zero is also worth mentioning. It's rare to get such a fresh one, right fizzy drink.
